We could not resist but try the Seared fish pesto which was served on a bed of spinach and mushroom with french fries and sauteed vegetables on the side. The fish was tender and juicy with a crispy layer on top which gave more flavor to it. 🍟🐟 .

Recently we visited Goa and got a chance to review orto garden restaurant situated on north Goa.
The ambience is chilled out where you can just hangout with your favourites.
We tasted some of their dishes and heres what we have to say!
1. Chicken chilly - Regular Chinese dish which goes well with your round of drinks. Not so spicy and sprinkled with loads of spring onion.
2. Prawns in beer batter - These king sized prawns were deep fried in a beer based batter and served with salad and mayonnaise dip. The taste was a lil bland but tasted good with the dip. A perfect starter with your round of beers
3. Golden fried calamari- These squids were deep friend and served with a tasty dip. Although the taste was very bland but the squids were really fresh.
4. Spicy treat chicken pizza - The dish does not go by the name and flavour of spice. The toppings included bell peppers, onions and shredded chicken. Taste was very bland and we do not recommend this pizza at all.
5. Aglio E olio pasta - This was a traditional Italian spaghetti pasta prepared with herbs olive oil chicken and parmesan cheese. The taste was decent.
6. Chocolate mousse - Dark chocolate mousse topped with whipped cream and strawberries. This was the best dessert we've had so far. This dish is a must order if you're at orto garden. The presentation was superb.
Overall we had a good time but the taste and flavour of their food is not very enjoyable. If you're thinking to have a round of beer and chill you can consider visiting orto garden
Coconut trees, breeze, lights, music, warm staff and most importantly amazing food! The wood fired pizza, pesto pasta and tiramisu were oh so good! Go go go check out this place!!
The atmostphore of the cafe is quite relaxed and refreshing specially the location is quite convient

It is very tastefully done place with beautiful exteriors. A perfect place to sit and have fun with family. We ordered two pizzas, chef's special and Earth pizza, both very well cooked and extremely delicious!

This new place is very relaxing and enjoyable. Very calm vibes, where you can sit for long on hammocks, the food here is good too! One of the best pizzas I have ever had! The Arrabiata pasta was delicious and we enjoyed all this with a game of jenga!
Absolutely gorgeous, great pizza and ambience is absolutely lovely. Good music and friendly owners. Great date spot, for groups, and families. Oh and they have Jenga! 🤪

The pizzas are really good. The ambiance is great. Friendly staff. However, the smoothy bowl and the flash fried mushrooms were a bit disappointing.
Went their for breakfast . Their avocado tomato pesto Bruschetta was amazing.

Oh my god!! What a crazy place this is! Why does zomato not have a 10 star option. This place is perfect 10. Best Pizza ever. You cant have that kind of italian food in india and that too in such a beautiful garden setup. Highly Reccommended!!

Had their Baked fish platter and mushroom Bruschetta. We also took cappuccino and americano coffee options. This was the best coffee out of all the cafes we visited during our vacation

Spaghetti Aglio Olio was to die for. We also had avocado Bruschettas which were baked in the wood fired oven

It is a lively place which is close to Mandrem beach. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. The food offered is delicious.( One should try wood fired pizza.) Many options for vegetarian as well. The staff is amicable.
Books are available to read. You can play Jenga as well.

This is my favourite restaurant in goa! Any goa trip would be incomplete without visiting this cafe. I love their Italian food especially pesto pasta, and am a fan of their Tiramisu. They have also recently added seafood in their menu which is superb! Tried lemon butter garlic prawns.. delicious. Lovely ambience! Proper gardenvibes and awesome light country music!
Great place, on the way to arambhol, in a place called manderem, very easy to notice. A must stop, pizza's here are great, i stopped for a quick bite but ended up lying here for hours!!! Very relaxed ambience. Try the prawn avocado bruschetta it was my fav pick of the lot!

It's a pleasant cafe with concept of a garden which is perfect to have a drink and chill for a good amount of time. I had their goan chorizo pizza baked in wood fired oven and was great!

We went to this place during late morning and ordered coffee and crepes. The coffee was delicious and the crepes were amazing. We finished everything as soon as it came. 😊

This place is away from the hustle bustle of baga/ calangute . Located in Mandrem, this cafe was started by few young architects. Its right on the road and easy to locate. Place has a very calm ambiance and you can chill here for hours with a mug of draught beer. They have a beautiful garden as well. Really liked their desserts and wood fired pizza. Must visit place whenever you visit goa.
Ambience of this garden cafe is appropriate for a family breakfast, lunch date and a long and relaxing dinner with friends. This was my third visit to orto and I have fallen in love with Apple walnut salad.
For breakfast I must say I ordered everything they had on the menu, the smoothie bowl with dairy free option and orto’s healthy breakfast had some flavours i never knew would go along that well.
Their pasta flavours are classic and beyond tasty.
While in goa, i went to orto daily for 5 days twice a day.
Tiramisu is the best I have had in India. Can be called as authentic italian.

This is an extremely cosy place. Great for breakfast. I odered a smoothie and an apple walnut salad. Both the things were very good. Great vibes a lovely garden to sit and chill. Came for a quick breakfast and ended up spending good 2 hours. Highly Recommended! Right on the ashwem arambol road.
This cafe caught our eye on the way to Arambol. We ordered smoothies, coffee, Bruschetta and Spaghetti Arrabiata. The Arrabiata sauce had the perfect blend of chilli and tomato which you dont usually find in other restaurants. Will definitely come back to try their other pastas. 5/5 recommended.

Orto - the garden Cafe truly lives upto its name... This was in my list since I came to Arambol in October and saw it getting ready for the service. You can easily notice this place via moving traffic and I am sure you can't take your eyes off from the place as its so beautiful. The place is designed in such a way that you will feel that no to go anywhere once you are there. Place is filled with coconut trees. They have taken good care in designing every smallest thing which is placed there be it sitting space or decor.
Now coming to most important part the food... Well they have limited menu items ranges from coffee, pizza, pasta deserts, beer and some beverages..... Their main specialty is wood fired pizza and you can enjoy its making right from your sitting space as they have placed this space right outside just few walk away from main entrance... The pizza is really awsome to eat as cooked with traditional style which means you can feel the earty falvour in that... Rest try some beer 🍻 with your food.. You can try branded and some local bear like Susegado.. They have three varient in this Trigo, Dorado and Seasonal(Rotational Brew) and belive me you will going to like all of them.
Lastly this place not only has amazing ambiance and food but also great young vibrant people. Really a must visit place with your friends if you are coming towards Arambol. I am really looking forward for my next visit. Till then enjoy some food with happiness.

The place is right on the arambol road. It is unique on this stretch. The tables are set in an amazing garden. Great vibes. Loved the breakfast. They serve really really nice cappuccino.

This lovely chilled garden Cafe is run by a group of young friends - Passionate foodies and designers. Wood fired pizzas, salads and pastas are specialities but you will also find all day breakfast and healthy bowls. Cozy and boutique ambience. It's one of its kind. Highly RECOMMENDED!

If you are looking for a place to chill with your gang after a long night partying, you must visit orto. We ordered one masala omelette, greek salad, ABC Detox(:P) and coffee. The portion sizes were good and the food was delicious.
Visited the place with a friend. Tried their buffalo mozzarella pizza. Being fans, we appreciated the generous quantity of buffalo moz. Must try. Great ambience too.

Visited the cafe in the evening with family. The place was new and the ambiance took our hearts away. The Food is European and feels pretty authentic. Aglio E Olio was one of the best I have ever had.

Eggs for breakfast is a must and I couldn’t find a place around my hotel that served nicely cooked eggs. Very hesitantly I went to this café and I’m glad that I did. Their Ham and Cheese Omelette was an eye opener. So cheesy and cooked so well! I wanted to try the Masala Omelette as well but was too full. Maybe next time!
After all the junk that I had been eating on the holiday, I needed a salad or just anything healthy! I had heard about this café from a friend and I was delighted by the list of salads! We ordered the Chicken and Bacon Salad and the Arugula Watermelon Feta Salad and washed it down with the Berrylicious and Cocoberry smoothies. The food was so light and delicious that we went back for seconds the very same day and had
the wood fired bruschetta topped with avocados, tomatoes and a creamy pesto and the one with mushrooms, olives and cheese! The fresh juice is actually fresh and delicious!
How many times have we heard that a healthy breakfast is the right way to start the day? At Orto, they have a pretty packed breakfast menu. The Strawberry Smoothie Bowl took my fancy and it was the perfect choice!
Went to orto.... A couple of days back.... Wonderful ambience with some light music going on n the pizzas being baked literally in front of you..... It's a new place n m sure it's gonna pick up soon..... The USP btw is the awesome service
I’m very sceptical about the panna cottas and tiramisus because usually its really nasty stuff that restaurants serve. But Orto Café pleasantly surprised me. The Panna cotta was creamy and the subtle cinnamon flavour is simply amazing! The Tiramisu is also creamy and the rum and coffee flavour is very distinct. Must visit if you want to have really delicious desserts and wood fired pizzas.
The strawberry Nutella #pancakes here at 'Orto' gave an ideal start to my day in Goa! There's nothing more that I would want for my breakfast than such delicious pancakes with a glass of fresh #pineapplejuice... Also the great ambience and amazing decor of the place added to the delightful morning!

Being a vegetarian, I don’t find a lot of options when it comes to pizzas but this garden café in #Mandrem has amazing variety! Their thin crust pizzas baked in a fire wood oven are simply the best. I especially loved the Earth #Pizza which was topped with capsicum, zucchini and mushrooms. This, along with drinks made our afternoon really special. Thank you, team Orto Café!
Wanderers are actually wonderful place to stay in African tent attached bathroom with swimming pool. They have lots of indoor games such as billiards, carom where you can relax with enjoyment. Food items are really good and in lowest price as compared to outside.
Adequate parking space.
I'm sure you will never forget this place and especially COCO

Staying at this hostel was the best experience I had in Goa. The friendliness of the staff cannot be left without mentioning.
The hostel has both dormitory and rooms available. Accommodation can be in tents or inside their main building, I would suggest to go for the tent; for a different experience.
Booking can be made via their website or on other hotel booking websites like MakeMyTrip. I booked on MMT and was able to get good discounts which made the itinerary very cheap. Facilities available -
● In house restaurant cum bar; good and cheap food, it wouldn't cost much on your pocket.
● Swimming pool
● Snooker/Billiards table
● Reading lounge / board games
● Two very friendly dogs to play with.
● Wifi connection.
● Hot/cold water.
● Laundry services
● Bike rentals - they have few bikes available for rent, its better to book in advance if you want to take it from them. I would suggest to rent bikes from the city before you head to the hostel because bus services to/from this place is limited and takes the long route.
In short, I would recommend this place to backpackers and young couples.

The place was getting ready for the upcoming season. The rooms, Amenities were way better than what was imagined. The best part of our stay was the every friendly, welcoming and co-operative behaviour from the staff. They provided us with all required guidance during the stay. Helped us plan the site seeings. Encouraged in celebrating, We were hesitant sometimes, but they made us feel comfortable. It was like spending holiday at home in Goa.Pool was very nice. we were around 12 people, so we carried things to cook on roadway. while leaving they helped us cook food with in premises. I would highly recommend this place for solo as well as group travellers.Place is Northern Goa, so main beaches will be little far, but the site seeing through the journey was amazing. You will get every thing you need around the place. Neighbourhood is pretty nice , friendly. Lush green every where. High Five to Team Wanderer's Hostel.
Very nice property with a 4ft swimming pool and a pool table. The Host is very friendly and attentive. It's a good place if you like stays in a hostel. If you like to interact and get socialize with people this is the place to be at. You'll be sharing a 4/6/10 bed dormitory rooms with other travelers. The property has tents as well.
Place is good enough for the money they offer it for. Bathrooms are really dirty, nobody cleans it everyday. Rooms are good if you are going with friends and planning to stay for not more than two-three days. It doesn't seem like a very hygenic place. If you just ish to go sleep and roam whole day in Goa, this is perfect. If you wish to chill in your room, please don't opt for this. It's far from Panaji/Calangute/baga, but very near to Morjim beach, which is an advantage.
The place is ideal for budget travelers as well small groups. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is also not that expensive. You will enjoy it here for sure. Also it's extremely close to the beach which is quite good. Morjim beach is also very clean and good. It's a must visit as far I I'd suggest.

Best part of the hostel is that you can use swimming pool till 9 pm n can have lots of fun.

A different experience all together, great staff. You will almost forget you are in a hotel it's almost like you are in a campaign group.
It has a no door bathroom so be careful before you book.

Good size back garden, an okay okay pool.
The two dogs there (I forgot the names) are super friendly.
It's to the north of baga so the distance is a factor.
This is like 2km from Morjim beach, one of the cleanest beaches out there.

We stayed in a dormitory. Dormitory is basically 3 bunk beds. The maintenance of the hostel is very pathetic. However pool is available, some kind of restaurant is also there. On the positive side, this is near to Morjim beach. On the positive side here the room rent is so cheap that we can stay for a long time with very minimum amount.
So this is just okay option to stay.
A budget friendly hostel to stay in Morjim, North Goa. One should not expect any facilities however. Since the rooms and bathrooms are all shared, they do tend to get dirty, but guests should try to keep them clean themselves rather than blame to hostel staff. Recommended for backpackers and solo travelers mainly. Not recommended for families especially with children.
Perfect for backpackers / family / couples as it fit right for a budget trip. Pool was awesome. If you wanna just chill this is a perfect place.Good food options are available around this place. WiFi signal is weak though
