Shetty Lunch Home Since 1957 - Mangalore - Photo album

One must try Crab Ghee roast. Marwai sukkha was ok. Kane fish was fresh & rava fry was well done. Nominal price. I highly recommend it.
This is one of the most famous and oldest restaurants in Mangalore. Earlier called as Anupam and now called as Shetty's lunch home under the name of Anupam. The food is good. We tried Neer Dose with Chicken Ghee Roast, anjal (surmai) tawa fry, bondas (squid) masala fry, marwai (clams) sukka, masala
Taste was good. Recommended: chicken ghee roast, Neer dose, fish Tawa fry pomfret. Main AC restaurant is in the back and not the one visible to the street. This restaurant also includes bar option. Service was little slow on the day we visited as many customers and less employees. Overall experien
One of the most famous eateries in Mangalore and it has to be. The place is actually a home converted into a restaurant and the vibe is just contagious here. I went there alone for a dinner and had a good time. It was the IPL season and I was sitting just in front of the TV on the upper deck. The s
This place is good for non vegetarians.. limited options for vegetarians. We had fish rawa fry which I think was average, the squid ghee roast was delicious, fish thali was too good but lot of food in thali for one person hence it’s a good idea to share. Prawns masala and beer dosa was good. Vegetar
This place has a bar ambience. Therefore may not be suitable to the mainstream crowd. The food here is brilliant though. My first time experience was underwhelming however the recent experience was amazing. The chicken ghee roast is the hero and relished the dish. It goes very well with neer dosa. I
Ambience is good . Food and the service is below average. Extra unnecessary talks with the customers aren’t appreciated. Special thali charged 399 which is too much for the quality of the food they’ve served. Most of them lacked salt in it. Such a disappointment 😑
Highly recommend the chicken ghee roast and the fish thali here. Food is simple but tasty.
Great food…chicken ghee roast and neer dosa is yummiest Chicken sukka is also good Its a bit noisy Service is slow as they serve fresh
Must try their seafood thali!! With squid ghee roast , prawns curry , fish fry , clam fry and neer dosa Also tried Kori roti 3/5
This is second time visiting this place. Overall food is fine. I don’t understand why they are not concentrating on cleaning up the Anupam entrance and way for restaurant in a better way. They are legacy brand but I feel some other lunch homes are far good.
The food was awesome. There was a volunteer singing beautiful songs from the 70s and 80s. The crowd was so loud to drown his dedicated singing that it became irritative. Ambience to be taken cate of as it seemed stuffy. Service was poor as they were understaffed and over crowded.
This is the best restaurant in mangaluru for family with excellent taste. Machhli is next to this. Have King fish which is very tasty. Price also nominal. You will love the food. Whether it is far or late, have lunch or dinner. Else you will miss the mangaluru food.
I went here for dinner after my friend recommended me during my visit to Mangalore. I had sea food thali which was priced at 399, and it was really good. It had a different local taste and some ghee roast masala which is quite popular here. Overall my dining experience was good. They also serve liqu
