If you wanted to try authentic Manglorian vegetarian breakfast, this is the best one in the city. My family loved all the varieties and hotel personnel was patient enough to get us all the food and explain their names and the ethnic importance. Hotel opens at 9 AM and i would recommend to go early to avoid local crowd. They do have in-house prepared sweet store as-well and a must visit one. Sunday is a holiday.

Sri Ram bhavan Restaurant are owner of Ayodhya hotel 🏨 Cant expect much from the service or ambience of the restaurant. It is very old restaurant and people prefer to go to this as it is not costly and will serve good quality of food. I do have bad experience almost all the times when i visited this restuarant with the person who sits at the cash counter. He just throws the change at the table. Does Not have the courtesy to give it in hand. I really feel some times that is it a tradition or what?!!! Because The experience is same every time i visit the place

Hotel Ayodhya also known as Shri Ram Bhavan Restaurant is owned by a GSB and the food served there is so homely. You name it and they have it. Hot and fresh breakfast served in minutes by friendly staff. We tried patoli, goli bhaji, buns, masala dosa, set dosa, coffee, tea, Shevai with Dali thoy. Food is very very reasonable. They even have a small shop and rooms available for stay. The shop sells savouries and sweets of daily life like papad, pickles, halwa, chips, jackfruit chips, spices, masalas etc.

Mangalore is famous for the south indian food. Sri Ram Bhavan Restaurant is another gem for local cuisine lovers. I enjoyed every meal here and that too so pocket friendly. Adjacent to this is there sweet and savoury shop from where you can buy finger licking delicacies.

This is a old traditional restaurant that holds on to traditional food that is seldom served in regular breakfast restaurants. You should try Patri, a tender jackfruit fry looked and tasted like chicken Kebab, banana leaf steamed appam with jackfruit and jaggery. The list goes on and on. Their idlis are cooked in jackfruit tree leaves. This restaurant transports you to a different time. You need time to sit and enjoy the variety. All the food is served at a reasonable price.

Best place in mangalore to have lunch/ dinner. They provide thali for just 70 rs. Thali is more than enough for 1 person. Food taste is also good. They also serve many Konkani dishes like Gujje Podi, Gujje roast. Location of the hotel is near PVS building. Hotel has good parking space in front. Overall it’s a good place to visit for lunch or dinner in mangalore to have some Konkani style food.

Just bumped into the hotel as I had to wait for completion of work. Cool, no nonsense place sent for the normal South Indian snack, idli-vada-thove(dal) n coffee. Served politely, enjoyed the delicacy ( some more thove would have helped but, didn't ask for it), paid the small bill on the counter and I am out of the restaurant in no time. This restaurant is known for Mangalore delicacies and each day you have a different delicacy in addition to the normal food. Good place for a quick and good breakfast at reasonable cost 👍

Very nominal priced meals and taste that still remains consistent over decades ! Mix pakoda platter was just the apt side dish to complement the rich and traditionally flavoured curries served with rice !

One of the authentic place for manglore breakfast. We have tried most of the items all are good. Later we have ordered each item 1 or 2 plates based on our appetite. Even palao was superb too. Most recommended one.
