Food was delicious.Not much spicy.Waiters were eagerly waiting to serve more and more pulkas(chapati)...Feels like homely meal🤤..

Visiting the hotel since 1977. Same quality, same taste. I and my family visit the hotel at least once when we are in Mangalore. Now shifted to spacious premises on Bhavanthi Street.
Very delicious and hygenic vegetarian food. Make sure you are starving before you enter this place... the limited meal comes with 6 chapattis, rice, dal and curds. Unlimited supply of sabjis and cucumber onion salad. Delicious buttermilk topped with optional masala is an additional 10 rupees.. this is not to be missed.

This hotel brings back my old memories from my manglore days in the early 2000...Infact it was my second home where I have food lunch n dinner For 20 rd at that time you get unlimited chappathi,2 sabji and limited rice Awesome taste and worth the money..Had a chance to visit after 13 yrs gap and was surprised to get the same taste and quality..Now it's almost 13 yrs now since I last visited.. Will definitely visit them once again before I die .

On the suggestion of a friend we went here for lunch. They have majorly 2 options for meals -
6 Chapathi, Limited Rice, Curds and 2 types of curry / side dish - ₹95
6 Ghee Chapathi, Limited Rice, Curds and 2 types of curry / side dish - ₹110
We had the Ghee version.
The side dishes on the day we visited were
1. Lentil curry - 3.5/5
2. Curry made of Cauliflower, Potato and Ridge Guard - 4.5/5
The chapati's were soft, and smothered with Ghee - 4.5/5
They also provide chopped Onion, Cucumber on the side along with Green Chilli soaked in Curd.
The chilli when had with the chapati / rice adds great flavor to the meal. Just a warning though, it's still green chilli and it is spicy. So have it at your discretion.
The rice is served after the Chapati and is not a lot, and I don't think I could have eaten any more either.
The curry, and all the sides are unlimited and there will be person going around serving it to whoever needs it.
They have extra Masala Buttermilk (4/5, ₹10), Sweet (3.5/5, ₹10) and a couple of other options which are optional and can be ordered if required.
There is usually a crowd here because of the value for money and the excellent taste they provide. The ambience is ok, as much as you would expect in a crowded place. If you are expecting fine dining this is not the place for you. If you want to have a heart and stomach filling meal, you definitely need to have a meal here.
PS: If you are planning to get back to work after lunch, i would suggest a small walk before getting into the office, unless you want to snore away...
Awesome food of you like fulka. It's unlimited food @2022. I was their weekly customer 20 years back for their other outlet. For me it's like memory down the lane. Thank you Mr. Jayadev for giving us memorable experience.
