Visiting this place since the last 4 years and it hasnt changed. Perfect place for a screening (without commentary though) and affordable beer.
The tower is 15 mugs and very affordable. Food here has loads of options and usually very good. The open area also is good. This place sure has an aura about it and is a must visit in Mangalore .. cheers
It's a good place for friends and family. Staff is good but food is excellent. Chicken butter garlic, ajwaini chicken tikka, chicken biryani, chicken dragon rice and french fries are must try. Ambience is good and peaceful with minimal lighting.

One of the best place to hang out with friends in Mangalore. Drinks are good enough, cocktails holds certain level of authenticity unlike other places in mangalore. Food is better than the drinks. Try their starter platter of chicken kebabs. Items of prawns & paneer is tasty too. Decor and ambience is fine. Staffs are quite friendly.

Such an eventful experience here like literally the one which we exclaim "Holiday done right" kinda one. So happy that even though i was heading somewhere else, i decided to change it to LS(like most of them call it) just to try it out myself even after reading so many negative reviews regarding their service.
Tucked away in a corner of the city centre mall, the place is huge! High ceilings, two level dining area and the beautiful outdoor seating made me realise what a beautiful place I've missed out during the times i was so confused and repeated same places. We started with ordering a pitcher by fosters which said it serves 5 mugs but definitely served more than 5 (6 actually). The beer was really nice and i actually felt i was drinking a quality beer because just the previous day when i ordered for a pitcher else where i was sure to know it was diluted. To go with the beer we ordered for a starter called crispy chicken. Now what do i say, i was completely in awe when i took that one bite of crispy chicken tossed in an amazing tasting sauce. This dish just got me on my feet like literally. For mains we ordered a white sauce pasta. The pasta was good and was cooked the way i wanted, aldante! the white sauce was perfect too but the chicken seemed very separate from the dish and felt like was just boiled separately and added just before serving which makes it very bland. But overall the food was great.
To sum it all up, i believe that the service has really improved now (reading the reviews i say this) the servers are friendly and quick to listen. The food came in reasonable amount of time. I didn't find a single element that added to any dismay. I definitely recommend every one to try London street. The ambience was very chilled out with good numbers. Loved my experience here! Happy eating!
Loved the high raised roof and the top floor open seating area. Sad that we were stuffed with junk food to try and more than drinks and an appetizer here, which tasted really good. Very courteous staff who know what they are doing. Must visit for night owls.

With the help of the service staff , it was easier to come into a conclusion as to what order could be placed . Really enjoyed the music , the ambience and the food over all was amazing . I would recommend everybody to visit London street to have a great time.

Had been to this place and tried two dishes: spaghetti with meatballs & chicken honey chilli (don't exactly remember) . The food was extremely good and delicious. Loses points on quantity of food and quite pricey.
I prefer this place cause it's the only decent sports bar in Mangalore. Food is okay. Really good ambience. A bit expensive but value for money if you are a sports freak.

When one first enters this place... its unbelievable. It is a kind of two storid restaurant in a baar with nice dim lighting and even has an outdoor seating plan. They offer a number of dishes in the menu covering various cuisines like chinese, indian and sea food. The service is a bit slow... the environment is quiet happening but the experience can be a little dull. The food however is decent and the quantity is overwhelming.

This should be the best bar in mangalore. Unfortunately it's not because of the food, less crowd with no/ shitty music. C'mmon, they have the best ambience in city and beautiful awesome rooftop area only let down by food and music. This needs a thorough revamp and no doubt this would be the best pub in mangalore if done.

Nice place to grab a bite/drink at city center mall. Must try the baked crab in cheese it's brilliant. There is an afghani kebab which has a coating of egg on top which is good as well. The chicken stroganoff is good for main course. There is a good screen which shows football/cricket but they have music playing all the time so fans who come to watch the game may not enjoy it as much
Yet another awesome place in mangalore... best thing about this place is it is within the city centre mall... you can do shopping watch a movie in cinepolis and finish up with having dinner at London street ...

Been here a couple of times, a very sporty ambience good food and drinks. Well did not really like the service you really have to wait for staff to get to you, and sadly some of them don't understand what you ask for, but nevertheless a good place to chill.
The place offers a perfect and a classy ambience. It boasts of magnificent telecasts of football matches and attracts pretty good crowd. Service is really good. The waiters are keen and always available to help you out and do not interrupt unless called for.
Food menu is pretty extensive for both veg and non veg, however, food is not too tasty or competitive enough when compared to food at other Mangalore outlets.
Booze is expensive and lacks cocktails. A request to the staff to include them :)

This is one of my favourite places in Mangalore! The plus point about being here is the ambience. Its patio is a nice place to be, specially because it's on the 4th floor of City Centre.
Food is mediocre, love their drums of heaven. Its the most peaceful place of all the pubs around in Mangalore. If u want it peaceful with a good music in background, then this is the place to be.

Mostly a place where ppl can hangout for drinks. We have been here twice for dinner. The food is good and decently priced considering that its in one of the malls in the city. Not sure about the drinks as we never ordered them.
I specially liked the Hawaain style chicken steak. Other dishes like the Honey chilly chicken and squid butter garlic also deserve a try.
They also have an outdoor seating area which gives good view of the outside.
Service was also fine though not very quick .
A major let down was that there were no desserts, so our dinner felt kind of incomplete.
Ambience is of course as expected of a drinks lounge.
Overall a good place for food.
What I like about this lounge is that it has a outdoor area, on the 4th floor of City centre(Probably the only place in Mangalore with such a view).Unfortunately, the view is not so great as there's nothing at that level outside. Nevertheless it is quite refreshing, especially after a stressful day. Hit this place with a bunch of your friends,grab a beer and enjoy the evening! ;)

A very good place to hang out with friends and guzzle chilled tower. It's not a great place for foodies though. The place ambience is excellent! but the service is a bit slow. the penne pasta with white sauce is a descent dish. they do have good chicken starters.

Love this place but reducing the stars due to the EXTREMELY dumb waiters... They do not understand your order at all. The fellow got hong Kong chicken instead of Kung Pao chicken! My friend had a meatball sphagetti the previous day and asked me to try it out... The waiter said such a thing doesn't even exist! However the food is nice. This is the place to be to unwind after a round of shopping. Located at level 5 in city center mall, Mangalore. Been here twice and both the times I was welcomed by the warm coziness of the place. On the walls you could see pictures of London city probably to justify the name of the place. The ambience is very relaxing. They have smoking as well as non smoking zone. The seating in the open area overlooks the city ... Which could be best enjoyed in the cool evening breeze.
Food: Was definitely good both times. The flavors are well balanced, well presented, good quantity and definitely not overpriced .
Service: Friendly staff, who could end up goofing up your order. Please be sure to confirm your order once placed. I would have given a 4 if the service was better.
The patio and decor on the inside makes this place so unique. I love the look of the bar they have. So, the only thing in keeping me from a five star review, was the bartenders. They poured good drinks, but were very distant and cold. I don't need a best bud, but part of a dining out experience is having nice waitstaff; I felt like I was bothering them anytime I needed a drink.Also, the cocktail we ordered is way too sweet. Euw! How about a little less simple syrups.

This restaurant serves an assortment of delicacies Mangalore has never seen before. As a habitué, I can undoubtedly vouch for the exquisite taste and charming flavours used which are guaranteed to catapult you for more.
The baked crab has a creamy flavour topped with an abundant layer of cheese.
The butter garlic prawns, are cradled in a rich blend of non spicy hints of butter and garlic.
The mutton pepper fry will satisfy the spicy meat lovers with its powerful pepper pop.
My personal favourite, the garlic chicken starter which will surely satiate garlic lovers.
Appearance n abmiance is good.. N Is more like the sports bar but have to work on food. The quantity of food is not great. The menu is something that should be worked on .

well.. it was a monday afternoon when a group of 6 friends decided to crash in to london street.. this place has quite a good ambience located on the roof tops of one of the biggest malls in mangalore.. the food is excellent.. tried the paneer fingers for the starters.. try the paneer fingers wirh the cheese dip rather than the tomato dip.. coming to the main course ,mutton dopiaza and roti .. the blend was good.. liked the taste of the mutton.. was soft and well cooked.. the flavour just soaked in fine..
there is sufficient place to accomodate a group of 10 as well.. so accomodation us not a problem..
over all a great dining experience..????

The London Street is a Pub/Lounge Restaurant located on the 5th Floor in City Centre Mall. You just need to pass Auchan Hypermarket and walk till the end of the corridor and you will find this restaurant to your left.
Once you enter, there is a small seating area for people to wait in case it’s very crowded. The seating area is decorated with photos of famous UK Landmarks such as the London Bridge, the London Eye, Big Ben and many more.
We visited this restaurant on a Saturday and decided to book a table since it might be crowded. When we reached around 8 pm, there were a few tables which were occupied. Though The London Street is known as a pub/lounge, I felt the ambiance was more like a normal restaurant. So if you plan on visiting with family, then I would give you the thumbs up sign and say go ahead.
The bar is located to your right once you enter. Lighting is a bit dim, but not too dark. If you want, you can choose to sit outside. I would recommend this during the day so that you can see the beautiful city of Mangalore from all corners!. I am sure there might be mosquitoes if you sit outside in the night!
There is a first floor to this restaurant which reminds you more of a bar than a restaurant. We just checked it out to see what the seating arrangement was like. It looked very crowded and dark, so we decided to choose a table downstairs near the window. There is also a big screen at The London Street, so if you wish to catch your favorite match while munching on some amazing food and drinking your favorite liquor, then this is definitely a place for you.
The music is not very loud. One of the things that really annoys me in restaurants is when the music is so loud and you cannot even hear what the other person is saying!
The waiter greeted us and handed us a menu. I went through each page to see what was there. They had a variety of North Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes.
To drink, I ordered a virgin Mojito which was served in a tall glass, loaded with mint leaves, and decorated with the cute little umbrella! My husband had his usual mug of Budweiser beer.
One of my all time favorite appetizers is French Fries. One thing I have noticed in restaurants is that the fries are so soft that you just feel like eating them one after the other! The quantity was just enough for two people and it was served with a small bowl of ketchup.
The second appetizer we ordered was a plate of Cherry, Cheese & Pineapple Stick. The plate was loaded with ice to keep the Cherry, Cheese, and Pineapple very cool. There were 8 sticks in the plate and was sufficient for two people.
The third appetizer that was ordered was Crispy Chicken. I heard the chicken was crisp and cooked just right. It was loaded with capsicum and green onion for flavoring. One thing about The London Street is that the quantity is very sufficient. If you go with two or more people, you can definitely share the dish that you have ordered. But if you are a foodie like me, then one plate would be sufficient for one person!
After finishing up the delicious appetizers, it was time to order the Main Course. Having gone through the menu twice to see what I could order, I finally settled on the Veg Au Gratin. The portion was just enough for me. The white sauce was so creamy and it was complemented with the right amount of vegetables too. Along with this dish, they served two slices of garlic bread which was sooooo soft and delicious. The Veg Au Gratin plus garlic bread tasted so heavenly! You can choose to eat the bread by itself, or dip it in the Au Gratin and enjoy. If I had not ordered the appetizers, I am sure I would have ordered another plate of the Veg Au Gratin. It was toooooo good!
My husband ate his favorite Mutton Rogan Josh with Butter Naan. The mutton was full of flavor and since the quantity was a lot, we decided to pack it and take it home. The butter naan was soft and loaded with butter. If you are a mutton fan, then don’t miss out on this awesome combination!
No room for dessert after hogging on all the yummy food. I don’t even remember what was there in the Dessert Menu! Well, I am definitely going to try it out next time!
I wanted to visit this place from a long time, and I am happy that I finally did. As mentioned above, this restaurant is a place you can visit with family, friends or colleagues. If you feel like chilling out on a Saturday night, then this is definitely the place for you!
The ambiance is really nice and you won’t feel as if you are in a ‘bar’ or a ‘pub’ with lots of people and loud music. The waiters are really friendly and will help you decide on what to order if you are stuck. We didn't have to wait long for the appetizers and main course to be served.
The tab came up to Rs. 1,610 that evening. I felt it was worth it and will definitely visit again to try out some of the things which I could not during my last visit to The London Street.
So if you are sitting at home wondering where to go for a nice evening with your family or friends, then ensure you visit The London Street for a relaxing evening filled with good food, drinks, and company.
Good place to chill out with friends. i prefer coz its in city centre mall KS Rao Road. i think one of the best pubs in mangalore. during cricket or football these place is a must visit. i enjoyed sitting at their balcony , nice to sit and enjoy.

Located on the top floor of the popular city centre mall in Mangalore, London Street is a classy pub. They have a relaxed seating and a casual decor with a large screen equipped with a projector which usually plays popular sports, i got to watch an IPL game last time I was here. The bar has a good range of liquor and the food menu also is quite comprehensive. I ordered a pitcher of beer which was nice and fresh, and some starters to go with it. Got to try the chicken loliipop(drums of heaven) which was rather good, tender chicken well covered by batter. And also the wonderful butter garlic prawns which were brilliantly done. The portions are rather large mind you, so be careful not to over order. A couple of dishes will be surplus for 3 people. The rice dishes are also good, i tried one the last time, though i can't recall the name. Service is good and the staff are always available to serve you. They have an outdoor area as well which offers views of the city and a convenient smoking zone. Though the pricing is high, it is good for an evening out with friends. A good pub in Mangalore. Expect nothing british about it.
Best place to hangout on weekends..... Meat pie and crab au gratin are mouthwatering and they also do serve variety of tandoori,Chinese and Indian food!!! The best thing about the lounge is ,it has an outdoor smoking area know as the smokers street which has a very good view. The lounge also has a big screen which telecasts football matches.
This restaurant is becoming famous for weekly football matches with commentary during the weekends. The food is excellent, especially the butter garlic prawns and fish tikka. The fish fingers is very crispy and the coating isn't too much.
The baked crab in a shell is a must for crab lovers. And to top it off, you must try the chicken dragon noodles. It is their speciality.
