A beautiful cafe in Mangalore! That chocolate thickshake we had was heavenly. Looks so tempting already right? The food here is delicious. Quantity is great too. Loved the ambience as well! Great experience.
One of the best place in M'lore where food is just like Home! I must say very tidy place with good interiors and people. Service is Excellent! Best part was the Garden. Will remain favourite place for sure 😁😋

A decent place, not on the main road but with decent parking space. Service was good and ambience was calm. We had davanagere benne dose, masala dosa along with coffee and it was good. I personally feel that the rates could have been a bit lower.

As I looked up from my delicious Seethaphal ice cream at Natural’s parlour in Mangalore’s Mannagudda area last evening, I noticed an elegant sign board pointing to Ajanta Cafe down the road leading to Rotary Bhavan and Mangala Stadium. Tempted, I drove the short distance to find a cutaway house cozily tucked away. Talking to Mr Sherigar, the proprietor, I learned that they had started their enterprise in Belgaum and opened their Mangalore branch less than 5 months ago. I went in to savour the most delectable experience. As I placed my order and looked around, I noticed some things that make Ajanta special – the wide range of delicacies, the soft-spoken staff, efficient service, clean washrooms, and the open spaces, running water with miniature fountains, and a small garden with a smiling Buddha! And when my order arrived, it was delicious fare – crisp benne masala dosa, tasty cutlets (not so easy to find!) , yummy kaashi halwa and hot filter coffee. As I paid the bill, I noticed the rates were quite reasonable. And I must mention the tissue paper on the table was soft and nice!
Nice place to have food. Especially evening the place is calm and beautiful. Enjoyed the delicacies served here. The prices for food are also decent when compared to other places in Mangalore

A really beautiful cafe to dine in. Beautifully themed cafe with tiled roof, fountains and pretty lights. Evenings are just a bliss! They have a wide range of menu, consisting of, North Indian, South Indian & Chinese cuisine. My personal favorites are, 1)Paneer satay, 2)Gobi black sauce pepper and 3) tender coconut shake. Their Mocktails are bad though, you can skip.
Overall, its a nice place to go with Family and friends. * Recommended *
Ambience is filled with nature, garden, greenery and water. Fishes were there in water. Pretty cool to sit in wooden chairs and tables. Felt like an island. Creamy mushroom was good. Baby corn and paneer sandwich was also good. Then, we ordered steam rice and dal tadka. It tasted less spicy and awesome. Preparation takes some time. Must visit restaurant if want to eat good veg. Food.
Amazing place with open ambiance surrounded by gardens which changes your mood. Food is also amazing and great service. Initially it was a veg restaurant now they have even started non veg.
The ambience is good and the food is also good, although a little bit on the expensive side. It is good for groups or with friends. The veg grilled cheese sandwich & the corn sandwich are good. Watermelon & orange juice were very refreshing.

Had been for evening snacks, ordered cheese pav bhaji, Dhabeli, chattambade, muskmelon juice and nutty Brownie shake..
Its one of the best pav bhaji I had till date..
Nutty Brownie shake is a milkshake of brownies and nuts, it was yummie too..
Chattambade was served along with green chutney, as per my view chutney was not necessary as chattambade alone itself was crispy and tasty.. BTW chutney also was good quality..

A easily accessible beautiful ambient place that serves some delicious sandwiches & desserts. The special corn & paneer sandwich was on point in taste & portion wise & the hot chocolate brownie with ice cream was quite yummy! Best time to visit during the evenings to enjoy a nice breeze & the beautifully lit cafe.
Very nice, peaceful ambience. They have very good south indian breakfast and snack options, they also have special sundaes and sandwiches. The place is clean and well maintained, good for hanging out with friends.
Nice ambiance, tasty food. They have good deal of experience in service quality food in Karnataka. We had a really nice evening there.
The menu might make us feel a little pricey, but I personally felt it ok for the kind of feel the place has on offer.

Only problem is the very poor service. You have to wait a lot for food. Difficulty in parking during peak hours as the road is very narrow.

Jeera rice gets a thumbs up but not with noodles. The style of noodles is pretty much different. Geberally expect it to be on whiter side but it was orange in color (close to schzwn) n was spicy too. Not something that yu relate with noodles !!
Soft drinks excellent.
Price is not cheap by any means. A revised pricing would do a whole lot good for the restaurant.
All in all would love visiting again for the place!!😊
PS: visit it as any other restaurant & not as a 'Cafe' else yu would be disappointed as they don't offer snacks(south Indian) through out the day !!

Just loved the ambience... So peaceful.... Bougainvillea at the entrance... Aww so mesmerising... And trust me food is good too... Try the davangere masala dosa.. Its yum.
This place is very calm, decent crowd, beautiful interior and more importantly amazing food!
