Ordered few light dishes and its amazing. The shawarma variety is so yum and the mayo in it just amazing. The green chutney is awesome never had this kind of taste anywhere. The alfahm was perfect as arabic food. The chicken soup was really fresh and tasted good. Looking forword to order more. If hi had to rate this place it would be 4.5/5. As food is customizable.

Chicken grill here is the best and specially the mayonnaise it really tastes different from all other hotels. Shawarma is also tasty here, u can find a table easily not so crowded

This review is only for their chicken tikka!!! I love them . So juicy and so well flavored. A big fan of it !! Can’t give full 5 since I have not tasted the rest . But it’s a full for the tikka
A popular hotel, Danish has around 14 branches in Mangalore. We went for dinner in the kankanady branch of Danish, after being highly recommend by a close friend. So naturally we ordered what he said was the best in Danish: grilled chicken. And it was nice. It was nicely spiced, tender, with a lemony tangy taste to the masala, served with mayonnaise and onion salad. It was worth the price. Next up, we ordered pepper chicken. While my wife found it too spicy, I found it what it was meant to be. Nice, peppery, hot, with a generous dose of onion and green chilly and the pieces were boneless. I loved it, though the spice quotient might be too high for many. Overall, a nice,affordable affair where you go to eat good food at reasonable prices and not mind how the waiters look or speak.

If you want to try a charismatic biryani within 100rs that should contain all possible vegetables then this is the right place ! You get 1/2 veg biryani for 90rs which will undoubtedly fill you & leaves a remarkable taste on your tongue 😌

I always do order butter naan+chicken or paneer butter masala+veg biryani from here because I feel it's the best lunch or dinner I can afford which is pocket friendly as well as tasty 😍
In Mangalore if you wanna have good Shawarma , Alfaham and grilled chicken, this is it for me. Very reasonable pricing. Place is congested but good enough for a nice meal.
The whole family is huge fan of Danish. They have got some amazing chicken. Love their shawarma and alfam mostly. Even grill chicken, biryani, their chinese is also good. The mayo and salad they give along the food is also very good. I always save some so that i can take home ;) This place is close to our home, hence we often order their food often. Their delivery is also pretty quick.
Believe it or not... I visited mangalore twice after moving out from there and this place has a share in my purpose of revisit.
Me n frnds are huge fans of this Arabian restaurant. This was the place I first had grilled chicken and shawarma. Then on those items stayed my favorite. I had grilled chicken in so many other cities but Danish grill chicken can't beat them at all.
All the items taste good. This used to be my hang out place for 6 months during my stay in mlore. Lite on ur pocket. Awesome food
Shawarmas are really drool worthy! Even the grilled chicken is good ! The price is oso pocket friendly! Ambience is mediocre, the only thing I wished was that they made the shawarma and the grill counters enclosed in a closed space, as the bus stand is right in front of the place and the dust may be a problem! Apart from that, a good place to hangout!
2 years in Mangalore, tis is one of da good places to eat in da city... Food is consistent in quality, good flavors n reasonably priced... A good option for ppl visiting da city, try their shawarma, tikka biryani, grill chicken and other tandoor items

The first Danish... They were located on the opposite side of the road before and were a bakery... They have come a long way since then... The Shawarmas the Grills and their Garlic paste are all great...

I've been here once and once have taken a parcel too. Tried different dishes both times and have to say I haven't been disappointed. The vegetable biryani is laden with vegetables and paneer too and the quantity is sufficient for a person. The price too isn't insane. Their shawarma is famous in the region and I'm no newbie in saying it's amazing. The service is quick and delivery too on time.
An improvement could be made in the seating area which is crowded and has few tables for the crowd it attracts. An expansion would definitely see this place boom sky high.
i have been having food from this particular branch from last five or six years,till this day the restaurant have served very good food,staffs are so customer friendly and service is good too.

Ambience in kankanady isn't much great but food wont disappoint you.
If you are chicken lover recommend you to head to this restaurant.

The place is relatively small but the food is good. The Shawarma roll is on the smaller side but tastes good. THe all meat shawarma is definitely recommended. The grilled chicken is well cooked with proper spices and the al-faham is really tender. Both are served with a white sauce has only one issue with it. It is limited in quantity.

Best place to eat shawarma in Mangalore. Their shawarma is so juicy it tastes mind-blowing. They also serve nice Al - Fahm chicken. The Mayo which they give with Al- Fahm tastes so good along with khubz or khuboos (type of Arabic bread ). Don't forget to try their plate shawarma it tastes better than roll shawarma. They have plenty of stuff in their menu. Do try their kebabs, tandoori and grilled chicken. I haven't tasted the biryani yet but according to the taste of other food I guess it is nice and worth trying. Must try their lemon juice which helps in digestion. The prices are so affordable and reasonable. This place is worth going with your family and friends.
We took Chicken Fried rice, Two pieces of Tikka and one by two Chicken Manchow Soup and the bill was 280. Pretty cool deal
