Loved the place, nice ambiance, Food was really good especially Bombay Istyle Sandwich.Their Toast is really good. Loved the Tea, Didn't like Egg parota though,it was more like a wrap and undercooked. Overall an Amazing start for the day.
Egg factory is always my go to. With an open setting, the ambience is always calm. My favourites are the thin sliced pizzas and the Chicken Caesar salad which I always end up ordering every week without fail. A must visit for anyone in Manipal!
The ambience is good and the staff is friendly.
The prices are fairly affordable. Given the quality of the food, it is worth paying, especially if you're going for to have a nice meal with friends.
The pizzas are very well made. The pasta and the lasagna are pretty decent too.
First of all amazing ambience.. Just loved the seating arrangements and also the area where its located.. The food was excellent.. Pizza's were amazing.. Mouth watering.. Chlorophyll Fix was refreshing.. Pasta was good.. I would have loved the salsa penne pasta if it didn't have paneer in it.. Paneer in a pasta is a big no-no.. Other than that I loved the pasta.. Overall a nice place to have some amazing food with freinds.. 😍😘
The one place in Manipal that I kept going back to again and again during my college days, and go to every time I'm visiting. Amazing breakfast, delicious continental food, and well priced. Their scrambled eggs are to die for. So is their popular dessert, Choco Lava cake (also known as mud pie), paired with valina ice cream. Every pasta on their menu is unique but the one I could never get enough of was Penne Alfredo with Cilantro Pesto. I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants, including the Egg Factory in Bangalore (this place was originally called Egg Factory), but I could never find anything that came even close to it.
The best pizza place in town and I am sure many would agree when I say it has the best ambience too! Perfect thin crust pizzas with high quality and fresh toppings and cheese. Prices are definitely affordable and the variety of dishes on far are bound to satisfy all kinds of food lovers!

This place, situated at the heart of Manipal, is huge by dimensions and has this sweet, cottage-like dining area that gives a rustic feel, with Western classics playing in the background. Its a great place to hang out with a large group of friends.
They serve mainly continental food, along with a few snack items popular in the Western ghats, along Udupi, Goa and so on. Food is great with some scope for improvement in a few dishes. Dessert is awesome here.
Chicken Vindaloo lacked authenticity, Mushroom Agliolio was nice, Choco lava & Oreo Cheese cake was out-of-the-world..!

They are well renowned for their pastas and wood fired pizzas.
Absolutely loved the food and ambience.
I just have one thing to say, I love how they make pizza in a wood fired oven. The fact that it's clearly visible to the customer, it makes it even more mesmerising. They got 3 sauces to offer on pizza, a barbeque based sauce, normal tomato sauce, and their special in house pizza sauce, which is a bit spicy so pairs really well with the more meaty pizza. Don't order their stuff first pizza though. I felt like the stuffing inside was sour and made pizza almost inedible.
Originally called egg factory, this place has been a favorite among the general populace here. One of the few places that serves good continental food, although it's not very authentic as you can find in cities like Bangalore and Mumbai. The menu here is really unique and I'm taking about the design, not just the items. Prices are fairly reasonable and it has a nice ambiance especially for dinners. Service is good and you can expect to wait for a table during weekends. They also deliver food via Zomato and the packaging is excellent. Everything is great here but a must try would be pasta Alfredo with cilantro pesto, desi penne pasta and kottu paratha. My vegetarian friends recommend musty mushroom pasta (white sauce). This place has thin crust pizzas which are good. Highly recommended.
The second best pizza in Manipal, in my opinion. My only wish is that they delivered them. Their pizzas are customizable to an extent and they have some pretty good pre made combinations as well. Their dessert options are a definitely one of the best in Manipal.
A pretty, serene place with outdoor seating and good food. Used be the EGG FACTORY earlier, seems to have changed into Oh Me Oh Slice with a slight variation in their Menu.
I've tried quite a bit of their food: Musty Mushroom pasta, Khow Suey, Egg Wrapped Noodles, Pizzas, Egg Chilli, Kothu Paratha, Shakshuka etc. Enjoyed their Musty Mushroom Pasta, Pizzas, Egg Chilli and would recommend the same. The Khow Suey is heavy and average. Egg Wrapped Noodles was way too spicy to eat so we had to send it back.

Amazing place to have a quick bite and a lazy Sunday brunch. Quality of food is really splendid. Although it might be crowded on weekend nights.

This place has my heart and have blown my mind. Food is ahhhmaazing. Ambience- chill. Service- thumbs up.
My favourite here is the "penne pasta with basil pesto". Soooo damn yum. The bread that they serve it with is gold! Nowhere in and around Manipal have I ever tasted pasta so good (and I don't think I ever will as long as this place is running and I am living). Second favourite is the choco lava. Ohmygawd the way it jiggles on the plate. You will know what true love is when you break the cake and you see lava oozing out of it 😭. It's an art people. Have it with your favourite scoop of icecream and your soul will bless you.

Starters- Egg Chillly is 😍.
Main course- Basil and Cilantro pesto, Salsa Penne and Musty mushroom pastas are really good for people who like a little bland food. The taste is exquisite!
People who need a little chatpata taste will love Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Penne Arabiatta, Desi Penne pasta and the Lasagne.
The way the menu is set itself is very very impressive as they have dishes which are authentic to certain places for example the Malabar biryani which is so so good!
French Toast with Stuffed Cheese and Maple syrup is one dish which always competes with the others to be in my order, always!
Desserts- Brownie with Chocolate sauce is heaven on earth! The Oreo Cheese Ball, Baked Cheesecake and and Choco Lava Cake are very very tasty!
The Pizzas are light and tasty!
So to summarise, this place has been maintaining the same standard and I hope they continue the same!
A one time visit to this place will become a weekly hangout spot!
Have eaten here a number of times since the last couple of years. Nice ambience – open place, lots of greenery around, rustic wooden furniture. Quite a large, spacious restaurant but mostly always full. Reminds me a little of the restaurants in Goa. No air-conditioning but always cool due to the greenery and the large fans around. Probably the best looking place in Manipal. Not tacky.
You miss this place if you haven't been here in a while.

You'll be so happy when your food arrives though, so well plated! Also, great quantities, you'll be super full at the end of it.
My orders have not been consistent so maybe they don't rigidly follow recipes. Nothing too bad but I'd be wary of having high expectations.
I loved the chicken and egg kothu parotta the first time. It was spicy and hot and yummy.
The second an third times it was super salty.
The fourth time, I asked them to go easy on the salt and there wasn't any spice in it. Atleast, not as crazy like the first time, which made me love the dish in the first place!
I go here for the lovely ambience and the refreshing menu. They deliver 3/5 on taste which is good enough for me. :)
5 points for ambience. Another fiver for food, especially egg preparations. But that’s where it starts getting mediocre. Pizzas are wooden oven but average. Pasta is tad above average.
Yet I go there to eat every week.

This a great place for a brunch. Mood for some Italian dishes? . Just plan to Hadiqa.
The ambience is quite nice.. Its an open area dining restaurant. Everything is looks dope and recycled kind an appeal to it. And the metal chairs for dining in.
The restaurant has not given luxury or seems like they hav spent alot. But it looks class in its own.

The restaurant offers you delicious food in the luscious green open-air seating. The penne pasta with basil pesto and choco lava with ice cream is my fav. For someone who likes to eat spicy food, the spicy biriyani is a must try.

I am uploading the same pics which I uploaded for Hadiq, Manipal. Both the names are representing the same restaurant. I do not have any problem with that. Its a nice place, ambience is different at different times of the day... One place which has not lost its charm even after Zomato and Swiggy claimed it's share.... So you can expect it to be crowded on weekends. Manipal being a university town, by the time people wake up it will be afternoon on weekends and hence breakfast time is the least crowded..
Great pizzas at affordable prices. Being cray-Z about Oreo shake, it's Deeelicious there. Wide variety to choose from that fits your palate. Oven baked of course that makes it both- smell and taste great. Gives it a touch of authenticity.
Food is very good and tasty. Good quantity and very reasonable price. Ambience was also very good. Bit of mosquito problem at night. Clean restrooms. Will be visiting this place again and try different items.
