Cafe St Francis Xavier - Mapusa - Photo album

Great Masala omlet, Chicken Xacuti was unlike any I have had, really great taste and very well spiced. But the star was the kheema pao, topped with chopped raw onions and a squeeze of lime. Delicious.
You cannot miss Cafe S.F. Xavier whenever you are shopping at Mapusa Market. I have been visiting this cafe since childhood and have lovely memories to cherish to this day! Their snacks and food are the most authentic, specially their chicken xacuti with pav (bread) To the cafe team and owners .
They have snacks and food too. Had tried their kheema pav last year. Worth it. The fish thali, good quantity but wasn't that great. The chicken steak is regular Goan Preparation. Creme Caramel was slightly burnt. Would recommend kheema pav, biryani, falooda and other beverages. Alcohol is also avail
I've been visiting Cafe Xavier for decades and a trip here is always full of nostalgia. I love the snacks (and I miss the time when the staff used to give snack plates, take back the remaining and calculate your bill accordingly.) The falooda (although without the vermicelli) and the juices have bee
I have eaten here twice and my first experience was good i had tried the biryani here it was the good average biryani, the second time i had fish thali here , so for me atleast I didnt like the taste of curry and they gave too much of kismoor overall very average thali , only their service was good
Worth it! We had chicken xacutti, sorbotel, kingfish fry, and so many other dishes, including a glass of port wine. The fish was my favorite, xacutti was also incredible. Definitely try this place out.
This place has hardly changed in the last 20years. The snacks are amazing, but you have to get there before 11am on most days. Try the samosas / croquets and egg/beef rolls. Ask for fresh fruit juice without ice and you are in for a treat. Pre COVID they use to drop a plate of snacks and charged you
Awesome yummilicious scrumptious food at a price you will want to punch yourself to believe. We tried the sorpotel but was not impressed, but the beef chilly and fish thali took my breathe away in every night.
Amazing place to get quick bites, true authentic goan snack. Price is bit on the higher side but definitely worth it. We tried almost all the different snacks n were still hungry for more. This is also an old Cafe and the standards are still intact.

A very old and famous cafe , great for some finger foods and snacks. They have tea and coffee as well. We tried their potato chops , beef croquettes and chicken pattice. We enjoyed it all. They serve simple but delicious home cooked meals. The staff here are extremely kind and courteous .
One of the.most iconic Goan snacks and food place in Mapuca town. Been visiting it since my college days in the 70s. Do drop in. Lovely Goan snacks and meals. Forget the crummy influencers. Take a real goans opinion for it.
Don't miss Cafe Xaviers in Mapusa market. The fish Thali is so generous, with huge piece of fish fry. The accompaniments of squid, fish gravy and one veg dish is also big servings. The menu changes daily. Joseph is the best head waiter there. Ample seating and also had a AC mezanine area.
Amazing pocket friendly cafe with delicious food! A must visit in Mapusa market for a quick bite.
A must visit place behind the Mapusa bus stand in the market to get good Goan snacks and meals. Must try their snack platters with choice of chicken, beef, veg. They also have rolls burgers all based on availability, best to visit in the mornings to see their wide menu. They also have continental me
