Great food. Their fish curry thali is a must try. Lot of varieties, each dish having it’s on unique flavour. Loved the Goan prawns curry. It’s near to Mapusa market.
This place comes under the banner of satyaheera and that is quiet enough to know the quality they provide. A bit pricey but it's good enough for the kind of quality provided. Best known for its fish Thali which is overloaded with different fishes, I. E. Crabs, Kingfish etc. They also give a cup of 'Sol Curdy'one of the best I've had. To end it they have gulab jamun. their other dishes also match the same level of taste and flavours. You should also try the tandoor section from here, the chicken tandoori is so juicy and delicious that you wouldn't opt on another place after have it out here. The service is good and fast, the staff are also very helpful and attend to your needs. Ambience gets a bit crowded, yet it's very decent and an appropriate place to dine with your family. They have the AC and non AC section.
You have to either take a flight of stairs or life to go up in the restaurant. They don't have parking. We ordered chicken and vegetables biryani.masala is the same and it was well cooked, even the chicken pieces were well cooked. For dessert, ordered the caramel custard. It is too sweet, not recommended at all.
When I think Ruchira the first thing that comes to my mind is the heavenly chicken spring-roll that they serve here. The ambience is average and you may have to wait for a little over a while to get your order. Also do try their chicken kadai.
Amazing goan seafood! Their red snapper masala fry is to die for. I also really enjoyed the shells masala, fish fingers and authentic goan prawn curry-rice. The butter garlic calamari wasn't as good, but all in all the place is quite reasonable for the quality of food. Definitely one of the best places in Mapusa!
Great ambience, and one of the best places to dine in at Mapusa (there aren't any good ones anyway so this place just does not have any relevant competition).
Stick to the Indian and Goan dishes and you should have a good time and a pleasant experience. There is room to improve the service a little, although it's not really bad as such.

Went there for late lunch on a Sunday. Interesting concept, and the food is unbelievably tasty. Really interesting food the mutton vandaloo is very nice to have with white rice, haven't eaten anything like it before. The portions were substantial and food was presented well.
I have been visiting the place since my childhood days and I can surely say that the taste and quality of food has remained constant throughout. The place is family restaurant which serves good food at affordable prices. Try their butter chicken, it is just amazing..

I had been here on my recent visit to India and Goa. I had tried out several restaurants in goa and i was not at all impressed till i ate here.
The food was amazing and totally value for money. I highly recommend the chicken xacuti, kingfish fry, chilly chicken and the soup too. Chicken Cafrial could be better.

Located just in front of mapusa bus stand.. At first sight it looks like an expensive restaurant.. But it was really a value for money restaurant.. Had butter chicken and butter naan.. Good quantity..
In Mapusa No better option than "Ruchira" when its come on food. In goa its very difficult to find nice veg food & this restaurant fill this blank allover good experience.
Here's a family restaurant that would cater to your Goan tastebuds quite well! The interiors are none-too-extraordinary, but pleasant nevertheless. They serve some of the better Xacuti and Vindaloo around. The fried fish is quite close to what my mom cooks (which, by the way, is something outta this world).
For reasons unknown, I always end up having cashew fenny when I'm here, not that I regret it. The liquor is quite cheap too, like in most other restaurants in goa. What's more, it's a stone's throw away from the Mapusa market ! Go for it guys!

Also for non-alcoholic person i will recommend lime soda..its too good.
Ambience is good ..try to get place in non AC (window AC's are too cold inside) room from where you can enjoy the city view and can cold breeze ..

The atmosphere is serene, cosy, and extremely sophisticated. The menu combines north Indian, Chinese, and indigenous Goan food. The restrooms are exceptionally clean, and the service is rather rapid.

For food 100 marks is less becuase food was super tasty with very min cost.

All vegetarian food is very tasty, must try veg crispy and panner tikka. Usually I dont like Masala Papad in any other restaurants but here you must try that and never forgot the taste.

One of the better restaurants in Mapusa has nice rooftop seating as well as air conditioned dinning rooms. The ambience is quiet, comforting and very elegant. The menu is a mix of local Goan cuisine as well as north Indian and Chinese. Tried their Biryani Rice with Chicken Xacuti and the combo was amazing, the rice was well cooked, the chicken pieces tender and gravy extremely tasty without being too spicy. The service is rather quick and the washrooms are extremely clean. Do visit if you are looking for some great food in Mapusa.

Nice place in Mapuca town.It is very reasonably priced. The food was very good and so was the service. This place is on top of the building which gives a very good view of Mapuca city.
