If you love seafood , you most definitely wouldn't want to miss this restaurant in Goa located at the top of the hill. It boasts of a panaromic view and even better ambiance and food. An absolute must try ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Chonak rava fry was superb. Very fresh and tasty. I enjoyed the taste. Caramel custard was yummy.
Prawns Biryani was yummy..must try..not like the usually oily n greasy.
Chicken fried with bread crumbs and chips. I would recommend this dish to others. Superb taste.
This is a really nice restaurant with good food. Ordered prawns fry and calamari. And I wasn’t disappointed at all. The food was so so yummy here. Even the caramel pudding and matka kulfi were satisfying.
Biryani was superb , I would recommend anyone to try their Biryani.
Chicken Masala was excellent
A regular restaurant, but good food, spacious, great service, ideally located opp Xavier's college in Mapusa, enough parking. Must taste goan food.
I didn't really visited the place but whenever I crave for biryani . I mostly order from this restaurant through swiggy. Their Hyderabadi biryani is my favorite . Tried dragon chicken it was also good.
Decent place for some decent food ... I would go to this place for lunch during college days when I had extra classes.. decent quality food for reasonable rates.. staff is friendly and their service is quite good!
Biryani is highly recommended.......Food is prepared fast and taste is also great.......Do visit this place......I ordered the food from zomato and it was really good 😋😍🤤
Placed an order for mushroom soup and seradurra.
Mushroom soup was really good. But the seradurra was not upto the mark. Since i had ordered for two one was good but the 2nd one was stale. A small advice to the restaurant please check the food while packing it in the containers. As the seradurra in the container was puffed up. And was easily to be known it was spoilt.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Appetite Classic. Had gone for a Sunday evening dinner & drinks with friends. Nice ambiance with a good view of Mapusa town, food was spot on (we ordered Chinese and Goan). All my friends enjoyed the food. Prices are decent and service is quick.
This place is a definite recommend for their Chinese and Goan sea food. Nice polite staff, good view of part of Mapusa as its located on a height, has a pool table not in the best of condition but it's okay as they don't charge to play.
Ambiance is good and clean, has an open air restaurant space too. Prices are pretty reasonable.
Situated near Xavier's college, mapusa this restaurant is a great opinion for college students there. Appetite serves goan thali , alcohol and dishes that makes u want to visi it again n if it's one of tjsoe Match screening night than you will want to spend every weekend night dinning here.. Favourites here are their spicy tandoori chicken, pepper chicken, a list of their starters and and all time favourite Chicken biryani and chicken cafreal..t also serves Chinese and many international dishes..So it's a must try restaurant in mapusa.. value for taste and even light on your pocket.
Appetite Classic is located in Mapusa up on the hill & has a good outside view from the seating area. The Restaurant is fairly large & has adequate seating capacity. The Decor & Ambience is good, the staff are polite & well trained, so the service is good as well. The Food is not their highlight, as it is really quite average & there are many other restaurants that serve much better food. A decent place to visit, particularly for the ambience, but just once.
I was pretty surprised by my experience... very pleasant of course. The menu is quite extensive and they deliver beyond expectation. My friends and I ordered fried Bombay duck (super juicy and fresh), paneer chilli, cheese pakodas and squid in butter garlic. Generous portions.. we couldn't go through main course. Dessert was caramel custard.. yummy! only complaint is service is a tad slow.. but if you not too hungry it's worth the wait
The open terrace restaurant is a lovely place for dinner, with a gr8 addition of kareoke
The service is a little slow, but the entertainment makes up for it
.........,..........
This place is very close to the place I stay so I've been here many times with friends and family. Very pocket friendly and also it's one of the good places that provide good food. Try chicken angara kebab or crispy noodle chicken in starters. Ambience is good, they have karaoke on the rooftop on some weekdays. Also I would suggest you to try butter chicken and biryani in main course. Caramel pudding as the dessert would be the best choice if you love ending up your meal with a sweet dish. :)
The atmosphere was good on the first floor with karaoke night, it was entertaining. The food was a little pale, spicy lovers stay away from the sizzler and try something else. We tried only sizzler both prawn 🦐 and chicken 🍗. Opens till late...
We visited for an afternoon family celebration and partially booked a part of the A/C ground floor restaurant.
They rent out for the entire ground level for 80 guests plus the first floor (accommodates 100 guests non-ac) and buffet (varies between 550-800 pp) / al a carte as required.
I would recommend this place for lunch, accompanied by a cocktail, they prepare refreshing mojitos and pinacoladas with their experienced bartenders!
Dishes that I would recommend are the prawn curry, chicken handi, chicken noodles, Hara bara kebab and the dark chocolate cake!
They have a well stocked up bar, complete from brandys to single malts!
Worth shortlisting for small gatherings and do drop in for the karaoke on all days except Monday!
Good food, great service, cozy ambience. Recently I had the veg thali, and they took my advice to veganise it 😊. Lots of vegan choices too.
Tried Paneer Chilly and fresh orange juice at this restaurant with amazing ambience and hospitality. It was fresh and very tasty. Service staff was very professional. The restaurant is well equipped with Bar other facilities like hygeinic washroom which makes it a great place for organizing small parties or get togathers too.
The fish variety is amazing
5 star for their prawn Manchurian , chicken Manchurian, prawn Schezwan, fried rice, hyderabadi biryani, golden fried calamari butter garlic recipes, mashed potatoes .
Also Karaoke is available on Friday , Saturday and Sunday evenings...
The service is average ( please be kind to the waiters due to language barrier)
Washrooms are clean and maintained .
Parking is available.
But please be caustious since it's a busy steep road . Don't Drink and Drive .
Great place for affordable and tast food. Their grilled chicken is amazing! Must try
I visited Appetite Classic for a fine Saturday afternoon lunch and must say they have a comfortable and cozy ambiance which makes you feel at ease.😍👌🏻
You can either dine in in the A/C section or opt to seat at the rooftop dining area. We chose the rooftop section which gives a pleasant hilltop view. It’s a spacious place which can accommodate large groups.👌🏻
🍹Speaking about the food & drinks:
We tried the Planters Punch mocktail & Singapore Sling cocktail. The mocktail was more on a sweeter side but tasted super refreshing while the cocktail was gin based.
🧆For appetisers we ordered:
Squids butter garlic; well cooked, flavourful and yummy😋
Paneer tikka; soft paneer with mildly spicy marination. Good option for vegetarians.👌🏻
🥘For mains we went for:
Appetite classic chicken; this dish had good amount of tandoori chicken pieces with chicken gravy which resembled the taste of butter chicken. Tasty and impressive quantity. Must try 😋
A fish thali consisting of rice, prawns curry, kingfish fry, dry prawn kismoor, squid chilly, bhaji, salad, pickle and sol kadi. The quantity of the thali was good however the size of the fry fish was a little disappointing but overall the taste was nice.😋👍🏻
And we finally ended the meal with some serradura!
🌟Overall food and service is good and dishes are also reasonably priced. They serve a variety of Goan, Chinese and North Indian food too.
I will definitely recommend you to try this restaurant for lunch/dinner. It is close to Xavier’s College Mapusa and is easily accessible through google maps.

Apetite Classic
Located just opposite St Xaviers College Mapusa, Appetite Classic is the best place to hangout with friends or family whilst enjoying some delicous food and refreshing drinks. The restaurant is made up of 2 floors, the lower being the AC section and the floor above a non ac seating with a pictursque mountain view on one side and the college on the other. There are also about 4 non ac seating tables on the verandah of the ground floor. There is ample parking for two wheelers infront of the restaurant as well as 4 wheelers towards the left hand side. We chose to sit on the floor above so that we could enjoy our food while admiring the view. Our server for the day was Ryan, a young lad who welcomed us with a smile and took us to our table. He was well versed with the menu and recommended us with a few specialities and crowd favorites of Appetite Tales. Heres what we tried:
Drinks:
* Mojito
* Appetite Special
* Blue Hawaian
- the drinks were presented well and looked very colorful. If we had to pick our fav amongst the 3 it would be the mojito. The mojito was very refreshing and done right. The Appetite Special had a mango fruity taste to it. The alcohol in the blue hawaian was very distinct and kind of stung the toungue with the first sip. It was presented with a fresh pineapple slice. The drinks however could have been much better according to us.
Appetizers:
* Hara Bhara Kebab
* Squids Recheado
- the kebabs were crispy on the outside, topped with cashew nut & onion rings & served with a not so spicy green chutney. The presentation was on point as the flower carving of tomato made the dish look really pretty. The fried green peas added more crunch to the dish a feeling we loved! The Squids were well done, but we wished the quantity would have been a bit more. The size of the squid rings however were decent and the authentic goan recheado masala made this dish explode with flavor in the mouth. The fresh vegetable salad served with it did well to balance the taste and not make the dish too spicy.
Main Course:
* Fish Thali
* Chicken Honkong Noodles
* Paneer Tikka Masala
* Butter Garlic Naan
- The best amongst all was the Thali! The fresh rava fried chonak fish was delicous. The lady finger & prawn curry tasted so good with the hot rice. Also, the kismoor & sol khadi was just perfect. The chicken in the honkong noodles had flavor to it and wasnt bland as in many other places. The noodles were thin & not sticky or oily. We loved the cashew pieces in this dish too. Paneer Tikka Masala was not so bad either. The paneer pieces were decent and the gravy was not overly spicy or oily. It paired perfectly with the soft & non rubbery Naan.
Dessert:
* Fruit Salad with Ice Cream
* Serradura
- The freshly cut papaya, pineapple, watermelon, apple and sweet lime tasted so good with that generous scoop of vanilla ice cream in the mouth! Everything just melted in the mouth and the feeling was just so amazing & satisfying. Serradura is our favourite portuguese goan sweet dish. Its rare to find on menus. We were so happy that appetite classic had it.
We defintely recommend Appetite Classice for a fun family dining experience. We recommed trying their seafood & thalis. For more about the place checkout our account on Instagram @cuisine_goa
I have not visited that place personally so I am not sure about ambience and service.
But I have tried their food from food delivery app and it was really awesome. You can refer my photos to get idea about food and it's quantity.
Food here is decently spicy, flavourful and yummy. Vegetarian options are also available in wide variety and some of the best non-vegetarian options are also there.
Visited Appetite Classic after so many years, to find the place completely changed and with a new set of Menu.. was super excited to try what they have in store!😍

I must say, they have done a fantastic Job with their Food + Open-air ambience👍🏻
The staff is very prompt and deliver quick service. The food, on the other hand, is delicious & comforting - they have an elaborate menu to choose from & the price for the same is very economical! 👍🏻
My personal favourite were the Veg starters and the Mutton Rara with the Butter Garlic Naan - such a drool worthy combo🤤🥰
My meal is never complete without dessert so, not to forget the Caramel Pudding which was amazingly delicious & the Gulab Jamun with added Cardamoms to the sugar syrup, which gave it the rich flavour!♥️🤗
Do head over to Appetite Classic & try out their food - They’ve got so much to offer. Great place to chill with friends or visit with family 🤗
