A Landmark in the City of Mapusa, Café Prashant has stood the test of time, serving the residents of Mapusa and beyond with a place they can come, relax and recharge their bellies! The staff serve their guests with dedication and the Owners of this establishment are truly hardworking, toiling from before the Sun rises to long after it has set, they only take an off once a year for a week or so during the Ganesh Chaturthi Festival (No off even once a week!)
Their food items are par excellence in their category of food outlets! Tasty stuff! Everyone knows this joints reputation for service!
Can’t go wrong with this one…. Just Go if you’re looking for something more than touristy
Had a good breakfast today here! The food was good and the bread was served hot😋. Overall had a great experience 👍

The best place for pav bhaji , mirchis and potato waddos while in Mapusa . Purely Goan taste over the years , very reasonably priced despite being in the busy city , staff are very good so also the owner and the service is quick .
This place is near Alankar theatre mapusa. Whenever you visit this place you will find it full, you will get a seat too.but on Sunday morning after the mass, you will have to stand waiting for 5 - 10 mins. This is a good place to have a quick goan snacks. They have wide range of bhaaji's and snacks - bhaji, samosa, mirchi, batatwada, etc. Every Sunday evening, owner along with staff can be seen washing/ cleaning the hotel.
Food costs a bomb in Goa. Right? But Cafe Prashant proves it wrong. An unassuming place. The ground floor serves veg Goan snacks and food. Upstairs is the bar and Non veg section. A normal Fish Thali is just Rs. 110/-. Amazed. A big pc of fish and absolutely delicious prawn curry.
A good place to grab a quick Goan breakfast since it opens early in the morning. Their chana bhaji is truly lip smacking and so is the bun
One of the oldest restaurant i have visited it is very well maintained and here the staff is always kind i recommend yourll to try thier mix bhaji with bread and deepfried chillies those are the delicious.

Cafe Prashant is an old favourite of locals in and around mapusa and has been serving people for several decades. The lower section is vegetarian and the upper one also serves Fish thalis.
It's a traditional Goan style outlet. Not too fancy and yet since they renovated some years ago it's better than many other such places.
They are well known for their Sukhi, Patal, Salad Bhaji. Their Samosas, Batatwadas, Kapa (potato pakodas), Mirchi, etc get sold out soon as they're out of the kitchen.
The place is clean, quite busy from 4-6 pm. On Sundays after mass the place gets full and also during the Milagres feast. Also when there's some functions at the temple next door there's lot of people who'll go to cafe Prashant.
Rich or poor everyone goes there. The prices are reasonable and service is generally good.
Cafe Prashant is right next to Cine Alankar and is a good option if you're in the area for snacks and tea.
Same lingering taste even after decades. Nothing fancy but the best salad-bhaji for miles around. Their paatal & sukhi bhaji is what gets the customers every morning. Their hot samosas, batatwadas and buns makes your day, everyday.
Best goan breakfast in mapusa
Awesome place to savour the vegetarian Goan delicacies like cashew seed curry, mushrooms xacuti ,Alsunde curry, battered fry potatoes are fab ,samosas ,batata wadas, rava laddus etc A must go I've been going here since 30 years .
Delicious, welcoming, busy cafe. Great prices & great location.
Good food. People who wish to taste typical Goan style breakfast should visit here... Bia bhaji and pav, Mirchi...very reasonable cost!
Bajji Pao , batata vada, samosa all good. Great for a quick bite. Usually crowded and you have a to wait a few minutes to get a seat. You may have to share the table with a stranger or two if you don't want to wait for a table by yourself.
There is a constant stream of freshly fried stuff coming in and usually it is a good idea to go for whats hot.
Recommend this place for a quick, inexpensive snack.
Very tasty breakfast and snacks.
