Visited this cafe on 22nd December because we were staying near the restaurant & had no option to eat apart from this restaurant. Things I like: The restaurant has a nice ambiance and a good open place to sit around. The host is also well mannered and greeted us very well. Services and view was also very good from this restaurant. Things I don't like: However the only thing I don't like is the price to taste ratio. The taste was somewhat okayish but the price which they were charging for the food was absurdly high. Also they have some souvenirs which were up for sale and were also very costly. Overall, if you are staying nearby the restaurant, then yes you can visit this place to have a taste else I would say that this restaurant, in my terms, has failed to offer me a good quality experience..

I loved every bit of the cafe. The flooring is very unique and the view outside is just breathtaking. They have a good collection books, clean toilet and serve delicious food. Sumit let me walk into the kitchen and he explained me how Siddu is prepared.

If you wish to make your tummy and your mind happy together - this is a must visit for your trip to Narkanda. The space has an immense calming effect. The staff is welcoming and accommodating to your order customisations as well. The food is undoubtedly so nicely cooked and served - we loved trying Siddu, Laute and Rajma Chawal here. Also you get generous portioms of mountain cow ghee! The owner also helped us with sightseeing. It is a homely feeling to be here :) PS - do ask for fresh apple juice which they amke from their farm produce - you will experience such pure taste anywhere!

On our way to shimla we stoped at this place. The ambience gives a feel of being close to nature. Had namkeen siddu which was amazing served in brass thali. Remined me of 80's. Ordered paranthas. Gobi parantha was good. Alu parantha was average. Paneer parantha was bad. Tea was 👍. Service was a little slow. Have some games like caram board, Jenga etc. Experience overall was good.

Khadu Cafe, located in Nanni Village overlooking the beautifully valley is about 12 km from Narkanda's small city centre/market. If you are staying in Narkanda or passing by, Khadu Cafe should be on your itinerary. The food is great, staff is polite, generous and gracious, and the ambience is simply amazingly nice, quite, with a stunning view. A cafe owners/management/staff with a strong sense of environment friendliness, sustainability, promoting local cuisines and caring for what & how they serve the guests like a loved one will - there's just nothing more you could ask. Deepak Verma, manager of the cafe can strike up an engaging conversation about Himachal and conservationism, healthy food and much much more - that you feel like you are in the company of a knowledgeable and a wonderful friend. If ever a personal touch could be quantified - that's how it would be. All I can say, don't miss Khadu Cafe if you happen to be visiting anywhere in the region, whether you are with friends or family or travelling alone.

We spent around 5 hrs in the cafe last march as our car broke down on our way back to shimla. But we had a lovely time there. Tried almost all the dishes on their menu. The quality of food is really good. They explain in details about the local food. Price is same as the other restaurant around. Staff behaviour is nice ( they offered to make arrangements for a local car for us). Great view from the cafe. Only thing is do not make them rush it's not city fastfood chain it's a himalayan cafe.

A great place to have a quick bite. Very well maintained, minimalist design of cafe, limited but sufficient menu and most of all, good taste! Eat Siddu, local Himachali dish if you happen to visit this place. Would definitely recommend if you are on a ride or road trip to Kinnaur/Spiti. Polite and friendly staff, would definitely visit this place again!!

Great concept with an authentic rural, village like ambience. The food is reasonably priced and commendable along with an amazing view. There's also a great collection of books and boardgames to pass your time while you wait for the food. Also the souvenir shop has some stunning hand made stuff including gloves, scarves, mugs and other handicrafts. Overall the place has good vibes and the people serving are really polite and friendly.
