I have wonderful memories of Carpe Diem. The owner Tashi was so warm and friendly. As a single traveller you can just pick a book and sit in a corner and have the best ever pizza you can imagine.
It was such a wonderful surprise to find one of the places we wanted to go closed and look up to find Carpe Diem offering yummy food. The atmosphere was so relaxing and enjoyable after our tiring travel during the day. Love the eccentric decor.
The tea and pancakes were absolutely the best we had in Mcleodganj.

I have been there 2 years ago I still cant forget the amazjng pizza we had , the great tea we had...all that we had delicious ..not to forget the service was impecable ..above all wifi password Sorrynolight....

Don't wait settle for some coffee in bed 🦄and then head out for a brunch 😁. In frame: *Cheese omlette with potatoe wedges and cherry tomatoes all perfected on a skillet.
* desi aloo ka parantha with Dahi.
* garden fresh sandwich with a side of golden fries.
* and chai ofcourse 😂 yeh nai hoga toh parantha kunwara reh jayega bhai!

So we had 3 items as our dinner here the first one was pizza and the pizza was amazing as in the texture was slippery I never had a pizza as great as this one and not to miss out they use wood oven for pizza that gives altogether a different taste apart from this the second thing was chicken Tikka and it was okish neither great not bad and the third and final dish was Hunter style chicken which was basically chicken breast cooked with wine , tomatoes,olives ,mashroom and served with spaghetti the overall flavor was good and good to try at least once
The food is average but the place and the service is quite nice, also loved their music playlist. This place is definitely quieter than a lot of other restaurants and that's what's the best part.
The most amazing place and cafe in mcleodganj. Its a must visit because of the comfort and the hospitality and food is just awesome. I have visited number of times have tried their spaghetti pasta, woodoven pizza thukpa and fried rice

That's is my most favourite place in mcleodganj.everytime i visit mcleod i never forget to visit carpe diem because of the ambience place food and hospitality.
i am in love with this cafe.
last time we visit we ordered pasta pizza.thukpa fried rice coffee and we love the food especially pasta and pizza (wood oven pizza)
just veg thukpa was bit plain according to my taste
but Itallian food was perfect.
I loved the food, the vegetable spring rolls were amazing, the pakora and the palak paneer was yummy!
And the menu has alot of options.

Located right in the heart of Mcleodganj Tibetan market, carpe diem is a cute little restaurant with splendid view of the mountains and great value for money meals. The breakfast was awesome with the star of the meal being the cheese omlette

Interiors/ seating - not fancy but view is amazing and also work on the walls is great
Food - TO DIE FOR(any breakfast meal especially Pork strips and sausages)
Service - could get quicker

I loved loved loved the chicken lasagna. I could go back just for that lasagna. And even the noodles were so fresh. It was like the veggies had just been plucked from the garden. The food was great. The view from the top floor is really nice and the best place to sit and eat.
Ambience was amazing here but food i cannot say...food was just okay. This place is famous for its wood owen pizza... Pizza was just okay...it lacked flavours..4* for amaizing views from the window..😸

It's a very homely, welcoming place. It's ambiance is very beautiful and is very pretty. One thing I know is that Mcleo has beautiful cafes. The staff here is very kind and friendly. I ordered noodles and a veg steak platter and it was delicious and very sumptuous. Thanks for having us here.

It was recommended by a friend. Awesome place to be. We had clay oven baked Pizza & Spring Rolls. Try get a place at rooftop n enjoy the meal sitting on matresses over floor in a beatufully decorated rooftop. They have 1 pet cat too so people who love them can have some fun time with the cat. Sharing exterior pics as well to easyly locate as it looks like just any another cafe but inside it is not.
Above all this you can play your own music in bluetooth speakers installed there.
The quintessential hippie cafe of town with matttesses and cushions for sitting and spending some quality time either alone or with friends. The wall art and graffiti also adds to the charm. The continental food here is highly recommended
Varieties of continental and local dishes, portions are huge! They really make food to look good, for example making flowers from carrots. 2 floors, rooftop can be loud as people like to listen to loud music.
This place is on the temple jogiwara road. And is one of cool places to sit and eat. The nest is to order Chinese, Italian or continental. I would not recommend Indian. Although Indian food wasn't bad. Just a bit bland for my taste. Definitely recommend going here once.
It's a cosy little restaurant that serves great food. You can get Tibetan food here as well as the regular North Indian or South Indian fare.
Do try the Thukpa here!
Unbelievable food! Highly recommended, extremely friendly hosts, lovely ambiance especially the rooftop space. Worth every penny you pay. Will keep coming back as many times as possible.
Excellent place to enjoy good food with a nice view. The rooftop is beautiful and you can get a 180 view of the mountains and the village.
They have a wide menu. From Chinese cousine to Mexican food. I was actually surprised that when asked for a recommendation the staff answered "go for Mexican, everyone loves it". And the truth is that the veg enchilada wss delicious, big and at a good price.
Oh yes... the staff is great!

Run by people from Nepal this place has everything whether it is French,Italian,English, Chinese for breakfast ....Hash brown breakfast is also good choice... and do leave your photo to be kept on table under glass.
Went there in the evening. They have chairs as well as mats and cushions on the floor for seating. The food is amazing but the service is average. You might find stray dogs chilling in the stairwell.
We ordered lasagna, it was made with fresh ingredients. And the chicken and rice were perfectly cooked. Takes a little time to fulfill your order but the view from the place makes up for it.
