You would almost miss this small bakery right next to the post office protruding out on the road. I certainlywoukd have if it hadn't been for a chef in another cafe to guide me to this place for the amazing bread they source from here.
The best part about this bakery is the humble man who runs it who would welcome you like an old friend and tell you about the different goodies on offer.
I bought 4 loaves of whole wheat bread to carry back home becaus ethey are best I had in town.
The other baked goods didn't disapppint either. I loved the Norman Cake and Tibetan biscuits and cookies.
Now this man, the owner, the chef, and a humble human being is the finest in McLeodganj you will ever encounter. He makes such delicious cakes that you will come to him again and again. He owns a small shop but his cakes are so tasty and his gesture is so kind, you will feel in love with the place.
Old monk cake - it was delicious. Tasted first time and loved it
Banana muffins - awesome. Banana peels inside were amazing and perfectly blendes.

This bakery is like a small roadside stand on the Jogiwara Road. The owner is a very humble and polite man, recommends the daily specialties. Every day he serves different cakes, chocolate balls, croissant and so on.
I tried Rum Bars, Whisky bars, Carrot Cake, Big Cookies, and many more things. It was just awesome and fairly priced.
Its a MUST Visit in Mcleodganj, would love to tell my friends about this when they visit.

This is a small bakery that sells home quality desserts and other bakery products. The himalayan Tibetan bar is good. Other chocolate bars are also good. Lots of other options available to eat. The owner is a quite humble person and greets you with a smile.

Friendly owner and many options. Brownie is great especially! Tried yak cheesecake for the first time there, but it wasn’t my favorite. You can get a takeaway box if you want. Open till 8pm which is very convenient!
A little place in the bustling street of McLeodganj, you need to ask few people to reach here. They serve really nice cakes and brownies. If you are a dessert person then it’s a must try once.
Absolutely loved it. We found this gem of a shop accidentally. It's down in the lane from Tibet Kitchen. Mr. Tenzin Dhondup, who runs the shop is a very sweet man. We tried yak cheese chocolate pastry, carrot cinnamon cake slice and rum raisin cake slice. They were all yum. You can buy yak cheese too and take it home.
This bakery stands out from the rest of the bakeries in the market because of the yak milk pastry it serves. The taste of the yak pastry is good but it was too heavy to eat for a single person at once. I'll recommend you to buy one pastry for two people. It'll be good to taste and easy to finish.

Carrot cake - juicy and perfect taste
Old monk chocolate cake- perfect blend of chocolate, rum and raisins. An ultimate romance of melting chocolate with a hit of rum that reached your brain as soon as it melts in your mouth.
Chocolate mud cake was great in taste and perfectly layered with melted chocolate.
And lastly the finest was banana muffins. It had melting bananas inside and that taste.. It was amazing.
The bakery owner, the chef and a humble guy adds worth having at least one from here.
Absolute delight found unexpectedly in amidst of MacLeodganj. Felt hungry, saw a carrot cake on display, ordered and then ordered more) cake was fluffy and tasty. Lhasa cookie was another absolute delight)
Having spent a couple of months & trying several cafes & food joints around. I can safely say that Tibet Quality Bakery was one of the best bakeries around. They also ran an offer of buy 3 get 1 free. The prices are reasonable & their date and chocolate cake is not only unique but also delicious. Definitely not a place worth missing!

Cute little family owned bakery, it’s been here for like 10+ years, I have been visiting this for over 7 years and I still get confused: what should I have this time, what should I get packed incase I don’t come here the next time!!!

Nutty bar was awesome.. Didn't personally like yak milk cheese pastry but other items were good.. Owner is very friendly and welcomes with wide smile and very good in nature.. Must try once in McLeodganj.. Just within 200 mts from McLeodganj square..
The pastries are very good. Much better than that available in the shops of main chowk. Beginning your day with sweet cake and the smile of cheerful owner.
The shopkeeper was very polite. We ate yak cheese chocolate pastry, special nut bar and lhasa cookies. Yak cheese chocolate pastry was not too sugary, tasted authentic and fresh. Special nut bar was also delicious. We also got yak cheese and bread packed which was later consumed as a morning breakfast, tasted fresh as well.
I tried the Yak cheese and Lhasa cookies at the bakery. The taste was great and the items were fresh. It was my first experience with the yak cheese, and I absolutely loved it. It's basically a concoction of chocolate, coconut and yak cheese, and the flavors are amazing. Highly recommend! Must try these local bakery items.
Went here way in 2015, and can’t wait to go back. Probably the best desserts we had in McLeodganj! We’d tried something called the Magic Bar/Magic cake and kept going back for it. The Chocolate ball, strawberry cookie was also great.
Awesome guy selling these sweets. The pricing is reasonable and the taste is great. On my first visit I've tried four different cakes and three of them were top with only one small disappointment.
I'll definitely come back again to try the rest.
