We had a lovely, homey meal at hot yak. We went after a recommendation from a friend who’s actually from Dharamshala. We loved the thenthuk and the Tomato with eggs. The price was also very reasonable at 600 rupees for the two of us. We were left very satisfied. Thank you hot yak!
Hot Yak Restaurent is a great find in the midst of hustle and bustle McLeod Ganj. Must visit if you crave for an amazing Chinese Sichuan food. Great service as well.
It’s a must try place for food lovers when you visit Macleod ganj.the food you get here is delicious.we ordered pork items and lamb items and they were too good.chilly pork belly is a must try .the service is also great and have a good ambience to.the rates are also reasonable.really loved it.
Absolutely lovely place. The host himself suggested us the dishes that would go together keeping in mind about our food choices. We ordered chicken chow mein, chicken fry with pepper and eggplant simmered casserole with a glass of coke. We were sceptical about the eggplant but everything tasted good

Hands down, this joint serves the best Chinese dishes in Mcleodganj. Having tried Indo-Chinese in several restaurants in & around Mcleodganj, Hot Yak is way better than the others. If one is a pork lover, their pork dishes are yummy. Super taste, adequate portions & reasonable. Total value for money
Incredible food! I am not sure where those negative reviews are from because everything we have ordered there has been great. We've had the hot pot these twice now and it has never disappointed.

Loved the food. Ambiance was basic, but food was just awesome. We ordered cucumber salad, lamb thukpa, egg chowmein and pork stir fry. Every single item was outstanding. It's a place not to be missed

Really nice hidden place in Mcleod Ganj !! I went there on recommendation and I was not disappointed ! I ate very well, the atmosphere was incredible, the service was excellent! There's also a nice terrace!
