Lovely, homely, friendly place. Excellent collection of books incl. on Buddhism and many gems by His Holiness. I had the Butter Tea. It was hot and sharp in taste - served in a flask along with bowl. The flask contained several bowlfuls of tea.

I had a delightful experience at this charming place. The calming ambiance, warm staff, and delicious food made it memorable. Can't wait to return with friends soon! Hygiene was impeccable, and the thukpa and puri chai were divine. Highly recommended!
Tibetan Tea House and Restaurant is a hidden gem in McLeod Ganj. The interior is colourful, warm and cozy, the atmosphere is relaxed, the cleanliness standard is very high, the food is prepared from fresh ingredients and served by kind-hearted people.

Portions are generous and the lady there is friendly and super cheerful!
Wonderful small place, with very sweet owner and cook. Great food, particularly the chicken soup I found very nourishing. Many books available for reading while you lounge there. I really like Tibetan Children Tales "The Three Boys", giving a taste of old myth and culture.

I liked the sign saying 'enter as guests, leave as friends', and decided to give this little place a chance. Glad I did! the tea house is super cozy, the pillowcases are beautiful, bathroom was clean, and the ladies working there were very friendly. i spent hours going through an India travel guide
So lovely, felt like being at home with the chef gently singing in the background. Intimate dining with great food. You can ask for eggless etc to match your dietary needs. Servers felt like family.
