Ordered kombdi vade combo on zomato for lunch, it was a good quantity chicken malwani masala with vades (4pieces) and salad. Good quick meal for one person. Packaging was also good. And suprisingly the vades were puffed up n hot though it was a parcel. Definetly recommended to all.
We visited this restaurant last sunday for dinner. The ambience is good, its nice cosy in there. Service is good & fast. We tried Pomfret tava fried thali with chapatis and one veg thali Zunka bhakri thali with jowar roti. Fish was fresh and fried nicely in red masala, the thali had curry, sol kadhi, dried prawns, chutneys and rice too. And Zunka bhakri thali was equally good in taste, the jowar roti went well with zunka (made with besan) and dal, sol kadhi, chutneys and in this we got masala rice which had fried veggies in it. Both thalis were awesome. Enjoyed completely. Must visit !!
Been to this place yesterday.Place has been beautifully decorated with caricatures of life on the coast,fishing nets on the ceiling and pictures of dishes on the menu.Konkani/Koli songs play in the background.
Coming to the food-Had mutton vade and chef's special pomfret hirwa masala with chapatis.Food was awesome with typical konkani/malwani flavours.
1 star less as the card machine was not working.Nothing else to complain about.

Kokani Katta is my family's fav restaurant. It's a weekly routine for us to visit the restaurant with our family.
I writing this review and sharing my recent experience. We visited the restaurant for Thursday dinner and below are my few recommendations.
Starters : We had read a lot about this stuffed starter on zomato reviews, so had to order Prawns Stuffed Pomfret which is stuffed and shallow fried, it was totally worth it. The stuffing was a bit spicy but complimented the pomfret very well. No wonder it's their best selling dish.
Thalis : Being a bombil lover, I chose to order bombil fry thali which came with nice pieces of bombil deep fried with a crunch to it. The thali was packed with fresh four bombil pieces, solkadhi, fish curry, kismoor (dried shrimps), kokum chutney, mirchi thechha, one big rice bhakri and steamed rice too. Very much sufficient for one person. My friend had a chicken sukkha thali with vades, chicken rassa, solkadhi, kokum chutney, mirchi thechha and four nicely puffed vades and steamed rice, the vades were the highlight in the thali and so was the sukkha malwani chicken. Great taste, authentic flavours.
Kokani Katta is my favourite sea food restaurant in Mira Bhayander vicinity. Quality and quantity both are awesome. Pricing is also value for money.
I visited yesterday for dinner and writing this review summarizing my experience.
Starters : Chicken Kurkure - It definitely lived up to its name, was nice crunchy from exterior with a different coating, it wasn't rawa for sure and tender juicy chicken inside with green mint chutney. Taste was excellent and even the quantity.
Thali & Maincourse - Instead of 2 thalis, we ordered 1 thali - Mutton Sukke with Jwari Bhakri & a separate prawns masala. Not a big fan of sol kadhi, so asked for sol kadhi replacement in thali, which was done by extra mutton rassa, which was great. Mutton was soft and fell off the bone, not at all chewy. Prawns Masala in malwani style was a good dish too.
Dessert - My all time favorite Kharwas for dessert was just the right note to finish off our meal at this lovely restaurant. Will visit again soon for sure !!

I been here last night and had a lovely meal. So I had to pen down my experience on Zomato here.
Below are the dishes that I tried:-
Starters - Poha papad fried - nice thin crispy papads, unlike the normal fried papads, this was made from poha n had a slight heat touch to it. We also ordered a warm drink named Kokum Saar, which is a water based sweet refreshment with kokum n a tempering of jeera, was good enough. Followed by Stuffed Bombil with prawns masala filling inside, deep fried in rawa layer from out. Pomfret Rawa fried was nice fresh full pomfret again with a rawa layer making it nice crispy from outside n soft flesh within.
Thali - Since rawa fried ruled the starters, we thought of ordering Surmai tawa fried thali instead, the fish was absolutely fresh n was quite a big slice, totally with the cost. Thali had a sol kadhi wati, curry wati, jawla wati with onions, chutneys - pink & mirchi, chose to have chapatis in thali, since bhakri would have been too heavy, finished off with steamed rice which comes along in the thali. All in all a complete meal.
Great experience starting from their lip smacking starters to thalis & drinks.
My friend had suggested me Kokani Katta last month and I so loved this place that I have already visited thrice.
I wanna suggest some dishes to you guys based on my recent visits.
Starters : Prawns Koliwada & Bombil Rawa Fried. Prawns were juicy & just cooked, not overdone. Bombil Rawa fried had a crsipy coat to it with soft bombil within, goes well with green chutney provided.
Thali - Surmai Tawa Fry Thali - Had to try the surmai, it was fresh, big slice shallow fried in red masala, not too spicy, just perfect. Asked for chapatis in thali, soft & freshly made, fish curry, sol kadhi, sliced onions with lemon & 2 types of chutney consisted the thali, followed by plain rice half portion. Absolutely enjoyed the thali, quite filling & delicious.
Would surely try other dishes on my next visit and keep you guys posted.

In Starters we ordered Chicken Kurkure - crispy boneless chicken deep fried with malwani flavors n crispy coating & Masala Papad.
As I am fond of thalis I ordered Prawns Masala Thali with Jowar Bhakari & Bangda Tawa Fry Thali with Jowar Bhakari. Prawns Malwani Masala paired well with bhakari n fish curry with rice. Mirchi was provided with kokum chutney which was a good accompaniment in both thalis. Bangda tawa fry was good too. Sol kadhi was also given in vatis, which was nice & cold.
Overall great taste, total value for money.
Been here recently for a weekend dinner with my better half. The restaurant was kind of filled. The service was on point. The servers made some good suggestions.
First ordered a starter - Prawns Koliwada, Nice portion & amazing taste. Then, had Pomfret Fry Thali with vade - Deep fried whole pomfret with fish curry, jawla, sol kadhi & vade; vade were piping hot. Chicken Masala Thali with Chapatis had all the same stuff except jawla & curry vati was replaced with chicken rassa. Chicken was nice & juicy cooked in malwani style. Had to finish off with Kharvas, my all time favorite.Really liked the food taste & way it was presented & although the menu card read serving time of 15-20mins, food came much before that, which is commendable.

Visited Kokani Katta this afternoon with my office friend. Had a good experience. Hence sharing this review. Here are my few recommendations and dishes that I tried.
Starters - Sol Kadhi - A chilled glass of rich refreshing drink made of coconut milk & kokum.
Bombil Rawa fry - Bombil deboned & deep fried with a crispy rawa covering served with green mint chutney, was amazing for a bombil lover like me.
Thalis - Prawns Masala Thali with Wade - Prawns cooked in malwani masala in gravy went good with hot wades (soft & puffed), fish curry, jawla & rice followed in the thali were equally good. Prawns were fresh & cooked to perfection, not rubbery.
Zunka Bhakri Thali with Chapatis - Zunka a maharashtrian veg delicacy was just the right consistency to have with soft chapatis, dal, sweet called mangane, kheer like but made with sabudana & jaggery (no sugar) followed with masala rice with fried brinjals & green peas.
Great experience for my friend and myself. Will visit again very soon.

Me and mom visited the restaurant last night and we had an overwhelming experience.
We ordered Stuffed Pomfret with small prawns in green masala, tawa fried, the best dish of our meal. Makli rawa fry- squid rings dipped in rawa n deep fried along with green chutney n lime were good too.
Thali - Chicken Sukke Thali with Vades- best malwani chicken combination, rassa vati n sol kadhi vati went well with plain rice. Baingan Bharta with Rice Bhakri was good, baingan bharta was authentic n had a smoky flavor to it. Rice Bhakri was soft n big.
Owners and staff is friendly. Taste and quality both are awesome will surely visit very soon.

We ordered Surmai thali and Chef special prawns thali, of which we like Surmai thali more.
Surmai thali had good sized fish fry, curry, dry fish chutney, rice and solkadi.
Prawn thali had green gravy based prawn curry alongwith the other side dishes same from fish thali.
The thalis have option to choose from chappati, bhakri or wade
Fish was fresh and rightly spiced, solkadi was refreshing way to end the delicious meal.
This small joint has good sea food served by the most friendly and polite staff you will encounter in the vicinity. A must try if you are around Mira road!!
There was lot of buzz about this place. I couldn't wait to visit the restaurant. Visited this place mainly to have seafood as was recommended by many of my friends. Ordered surmai fry, squid fry, mori fry all with rawa coated and deep fried served with green dhaniya chutney. All the fishes were fresh and cooked to the mark. Surprisingly squid rings were not chewy and rubbery as in other places. Bangda masala with jowar bhakari was a good combination, masala was flavorful and not too spicy. Chilled kokum sarbat was refreshing and just sweet enough. It was surely a good recommendation for seafood. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

One of my local food expert friend had suggested me this place as I'm a sea food lover. So I planned to take him for Wednesday lunch.
Started discussing our order over a glass of chilled sol kadhi, Starters ordered was Pomfret deep fried with rawa coating & prawns stuffed Bombil, 3 big rolls came in a plate.Pomfret was crispy & fresh. Stuffed Bombil was nice spicy with tiny prawns stuffing. Finished with Prawns Bhaat, which was a full portion prawns masala rice served with sol kadhi in vati & fish curry in vati with a pink chutney & onions. The bhaat portion size was totally worth it & too good. Ambience was good with soft koli songs playing in background. Service was good too and the taste was best in Mira rd.

I'm a loyal customer at Kokani Katta. Online ordering and dine in, my all experiences here have been good.
I visited the restaurant Monday evening. While munching on Poha Papad, we ordered our starters - Chicken Kurkure, Prawns Rawa fry. Poha papad was good crispy; chicken kurkure as the name suggests delivered the right amount of crunchiness from out and soft juicy chicken inside. Prawns rawa fried had a good crispy rawa coating and was cooked perfectly. Surmai tawa fry starter was next which we requested them to make it a thali instead to complete the meal. Surmai was fresh and slice was big enough to justify the cost. Thali had sol kadi, fish rassa, dried shrimps, soft chapatis, plain rice.There were 2 chutneys one was pink coconut chutney and other was mirchi thechha, this was a bit spicy. With no place for dessert, ordered a glass of kairi panha which was sweet and sour. I can definitely recommend this place for good tasty fresh seafood.

Had order on zomato, 2 thalis and 1 dessert-kharvas. It's commendable that they packed each thali item separately & when unpacked at home, the thali was complete. Surmai Rawa Thali & Pomfret in Green Masala Thali was ordered, both were equally good in taste, sol kadhi was tasty and rich. Dessert was very nice.
Although a small place, but they have managed seating well. We had gone in a group of 7 and were comfortably seated by joining two tables. Sol Kadhi is the best thing to start off with. In starters, we had tisrya sukke and prawns stuffed bombil rolls. The tisrya sukke had unique flavor with fresh coconut shavings and bombil rolls were awesome, one should try them if a bombil fan. Chicken sukkha thali with wade and chicken rassa sol kadhi completed the meal for us. A good evening spent at this restaurant. Service was quick too. Overall a great experience yet again. Will surely visit the restaurant soon.

I'm here always on the weekends. Visited this Saturday with family and Ordered Surmai tawa fried, nice big slice marinated in red masala n shallow fried - fish was absolutely fresh n cooked nicely. Later ordered chicken kharda masala which is basically green malwani masala n a veg dish which was stuffed baingan in gravy, something different but very tasty. Chapatis were good n soft, followed by steam rice n dal, the typical maharashtrian style of dal, which is a bit sweet n sour, called as amti. Enjoyed all the dishes. The decor too is something unique, with painted wall & fishing nets, giving it a konkani feel.
Overall another good experience for me and my family. Will surely visit again very soon..
Although had ordered parcel through zomato, the food was yet hot & packed properly. Prompt in time delivery. Prawns Koliwada & Surmai Rawa fried was quite good.Quantity of Bombil Thali was good enough. Will surely order again.

We tried the Bangda Masala Thali with Chapati option, it was a whole big piece of bangda in malwani gravy and had along fish curry, jawla, chutney, mirchi and sol kadhi followed by plain steamed rice. Second thali was Bombil fry with no chapatis, so they gave us a full portion of rice, which was sufficient with the curry. There were 4 flat pieces of bombil deep fried and piled on top of each other, it was a huge portion for the price they charge. The bombil was divine and easy to eat since the bone was removed. Finished our meal with Chef's special dessert as mentioned in the menu card - pineapple sheera, which was rich tasty and full of ghee, that was a bit heavy for us to finish, but it tasted magnificent. All in all a great meal with good service.

Discovered this place on google for a quick bite on a weekday for lunch with my office colleague. Tried Mutton Wade which had tender mutton pieces in coconut masala along with four vades. Then ordered Pangi which was served in the banana leaf in which it was cooked, it was piping hot & tasty. Chicken Bhaat was good in quantity and had solkadhi and gravy along. Have to visit this place with family to discover their seafood dishes for sure. The food is tasty and comforting. The kind of food you can literally eat out from everyday.

Being a die hard fan of sea food I approve this place as the best sea food restaurant in Mira road. I'm a frequent visitor at this restaurant. I visit the restaurant with my siblings and parents too. I'm a thali lover so I called for
Rawas fry Thali which came with Wheat Chapatis, fresh long slice of rawas tawa fried in red masala was the highlight of our meal.
In Maincourse I loved Mutton cooked in Kala malwani masala went off well with vade (like puris). The mutton is well cooked and tender, the wadas are fried with less oil usage.
We had Warm gulab jamuns to end the meal. Which were super delicious.

Konkan food cravings? This is where you havr to head to for a nice family dinner or group party. It was easy to locate this food joint on google map, it has outdoor seating as well at dinner time. Pretty lit ambience and good vibe.
We started off by ordering chicken koliwada seeing the table standee and it was indeed tasty. Followed by Surmai & Chicken Thalis, we opted for jowari bhakris, as suggested by the owner and the bhakris truly were amazingly soft and paired well with the thalis. Surmai slice was huge and chicken masala was in a coconut base gravy as served in malwani cuisine.
Seafood Thali had fish curry, sol kadhi, kismoor (dried shrimps) and rice to finish off. Chicken Thali had chicken rassa which goes along very well with rice. Great first time experience, strongly recommended. I would surely like to visit again and try their other dishes.

Ordered Black Watana Usal with jowar roti, the roti was soft & usal was cooked in maharashtrian style, good taste. Chicken Bhaat was delicious and they also gave chicken rassa & sol kadhi with it which complimented the bhaat very well. Service was quick and prompt.
Overall a tasty and a comfort meal which doesn't even hurt your pocket. Must try for all.
Kokani Katta sea food heaven literally. The food they serve is fresh and top quality. Visited the restaurant with mg partner and in Starters Rawas tawa fry is a must try, a good long rawas slice fried with red masala, was delicious n fish was fresh. It complimented well with the chutneys they had provided. In Main Course we had Mutton in Kala Masala with Rice bhakri n panagi which was sort of a pancake n was cooked in banana leaves n served, something unique n tasty. Mutton was tender n had a good strong coconut flavor. Not many restaurant can actually serve you perfectly cooked mutton like they servem In Dessert we had Kharvas, good portion n tasty, my all time favorite. The Thalis are value for money and a must try. Highly recommend this place to all my friends.

We have been visiting the restaurant quite frequently and have had great experience every single time.
Sharing my experience based on my recent visit here for Wednesday dinner.
Firstly, we ordered Bombil rawa fried, it was nice & crispy along with a Vegetarian Starter - Brinjal slices rawa fried, which was surprisingly delicious too.In Thali, we tried their Chicken Sukkha Thali with Vade, Kombdi Vade😝 as we all know it. The chicken masala was good & vades were puffed like puris. We couldn't resist so repeated the vade order. They also served rice in the thali with a gravy bowl & sol kadi bowl. And finally hot gulab jamuns to complete our meal.
We noticed the food photos displayed on the wall are exactly the same whats served on the table. Highly recommended. Great food with value for money.

Shout out to all the sea food and coastal cuisine lovers out there. If you stay around Mira Rd Kokani Katta is a must try for you. Have been ordering and visiting from here since many months now and must say they only get better every time.
By far it's the best sea food and coastal cuisine restaurant in Mira Rd.
The restaurant is located like 3-4kms from Mira Rd station. The interiors are well done. Gives u a nice coastal vibe. The servers are well trained and the service is prompt.
I visited the outlet last night and sharing my experience based on that.
I ordered Bangda Tawa Fry from here. The fish had a lovely marination. Was slight crisp from out cos of the shallow frying and was succulent from inside. Sol kadi and green chutney made it a complete meal.
Best of the day was Prawns Rawa Fry Thali. Deep Fried Prawns Coated With Rawa, Curry Vati, Sol Kadhi, Jawla, Salad, Chutney, Thechha, Bhajani Che Wade -4pcs. & Rice. The Thali was by far one is the best I have eaten in a while. No excess oil and the curry was aromatic. Absolutely loved the taste.
Makli Masala Thali is a must try for squids lovers. Thali Includes Makli Masala - Squid Rings Cooked In thick Malwani Masala which tasted heavenly with Tandul Bhakri, Curry Vati went well with the steamed rice, Sol Kadhi perfect side beverage with the Meal, Jawla was also good, Salad, Chutney and Thechha made it a lovely meal.
Overall another lovely experience for me. Will surely visit again very soon.

Chicken Kala Masala Thali With Chapatis (Thali Includes Chicken (With Bone) In Kala Masala, Chicken Rassa, Sol Kadhi, Sliced Onions, Pink Chutney, Mirchi Thechha, Chapatis & Rice). Quantity was great.
Normally I refrain eating Bandga out but the Bangda Curry Thali I had here was heavenly. They served it with Chapatis, Bangda Cooked In Curry, Curry Vati, Sol Kadhi, Jawla, Sliced Onions, Pink Chutney, Mirchi Thechha, Chapatis & Rice.

1.STUFFED BOMBIL

Amazing little place, neat and purposeful interiors. The food was amazing. We ordered the bangda rava fry thali and mori rava fry thali. Both came with dry prawns, rasa, sol kadi and some kokam coconut chutney and rice. The fish was perfectly cooked. The squid too was tender and not rubbery. Wait staff was patient and courteous. All in all, worth every paisa we paid for.

Authentic Malwani food is what this restaurant prides itself on and they are one of the very few who stick to the one thing that they are very good at. With a menu that encompasses the wide variety of Konkani seafood and popular dishes from Maharashtrian cuisine, this place is sure to amaze you.
The restaurant is small with not much seating capacity, but they do have comfortable seating. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable about what they are serving. Food arrived on our table in a very short amount of time.

▪️Surmai Rawa Fry Thali - A thali to tingle your tastebuds with its depth of flavour and different textures. This thali consisted of Sol Kadhi, Kismoor, Salad, Chutney, Thechaa, Fish Curry, Rice, choice of Chapati/Bhakri/Bhajaniche Wade and the main component that is the scrumptious Surmai fish fry..🤤 The flavours were very authentic for all of them. Fish was nicely cooked with a crunchy outer layer and moist inside. All in all a very satisfying experience..😍
▪️Egg Sagoti Masala Thali - Most of the components were similar to the previous thali apart from the Surmai fish fry and fish curry, which were replaced by Egg Sagoti masala. It was spicy and hot, but lacked in terms of flavour, probably because of the overwhelming taste of other elements on the plate.
▪️Kharwas - A dessert that was not too sweet or heavy. The consistency and texture was just the way it should be. The perfect end to a heavy meal that one would most probably have here.

I ordered, Chicken Kurkure, Kombdi bhat and Chicken sagoti masala, the food was amazing, except the Chicken Kurkure, I felt it could have used more flavour, it tasted bland to me. Rest of the dishes amazing taste, it fulfilled my heart. I only have one suggestion, for the prices they charge they should provide boneless option as well. Every chicken dish they have is bone except the Chicken Kurkure. If I am paying around ₹300 for every chicken dish I think I should get boneless option because with bone pieces the edible part reduces and for this cost to get so less edible food it feels a lil unsatisfactory. They should either increase the quantity or provide boneless option and hence the 4 stars. Rest of the things, the staff, the ambience was amazing. Also, it would be amazing if you could manage a small sink for washing hands before eating. Thank you for your hospitality.

If you are looking for some good authentic malwani sea food you should definitely try out this place called Kokani katta 😍 which is in Mira road. The place has a very cool funky ambience. The staff was really good to us. We loved the hospitality as well.
We tried some amazing food items like chicken koliwada, Pomfret Tawa fry in starters.
We had delicious veg thali as well as non veg chicken thali as well!
Both the Thalis were equally good and the quality as well as quantity of Thalis were really good ❤️. It's very heavy too.
In dessert we had the kharvas and the Naral barfi. We were also welcomed with coolers kokum sherbat

It's so good to have this place is Mira Rd which serves good sea food dishes. Was here last Friday with my dad to see how good it is. Well it's a small place but comfortable seating arrangements. The place was already full which tells how everyone likes it. It has fish nets used for decoration to give it more oceanic vibes. We also met the owners they greeted us warmly and all the servers and helpers were good. Now coming to food that we tried. We tried Pomfret Rawa fry which was awesome, it was well fried and the taste was good. We also tried surmai rawa fry which again fantastic. We also tried their sol kadhi and komam saar which was very refreshing and helping hand for digestion. My dad tried mutton thali with chapati and I tried Veg special thali. There was sufficient amount of mutton in mutton thali and it was good good and authentic in taste. Whereas veg thali had 2 vegetables, Dal, salad, sweet, papad and we also got masala baat which was again good. When you enter, you're greeted by walls painted with amazing sketches and framed pictures of their traditional thalis.
The restaurant makes you feel at ease with their amiability. The ambience of this place and the staff collude to make the diner feel like a sojourner as they embrace them to their clan. The typical coastal music played in the background brings in some kind of positive energy to the atmosphere of the place.
The owner cum chef, Mr. Nilesh Sahasrabudhe helped us out in selecting the dishes. His knowledge of the regional cuisine of Konkan is truly amazing. If he's there at the outlet when you dine in, he'll definitely help you out. All the dishes we had were suggested by him, and they were delicious!
Our table was hosted by Mr. Sagar Dhathre. He was a fantastic host, very friendly. The service was amazing. You don't have to wait for too long to get what you order. Even if you do, the food is worth the wait.
I've been to a lot of places which serve traditional dishes from the konkan regions and Konkani Katta definitely deserves a spot in my list of favorite places.
What makes this place different is their ability to serve authentic food without any crumble or "fusion" if I may.
If you think you don't get authentic regional food in Mumbai, you're wrong. You don't have to go out of Mumbai to have authoritative konkani dishes in the presence of places like Konkani Katta.

This place is serves authentic malwani food from chicken, sea food and mutton. So I decided to go with the sea food cuisine, ordered the squid rawa fry. The squids were fresh and were well marinated it was well fried and cleant well, ordered my favourite bombil rawa fry, again done well and very crisp.
For the mains I ordered the Mori (Shark) masala thali with bhajani che vade, it was really good, the fish was fresh, thick coconut gravy, sol kadi, an extra gravy with fish, dry jawla (prawns) fry along with 2 types of chutney - pink coconut chutney and another dry chutney. It was substantial for one person and delicious.
Tried the unique dessert - pan firni, it felt like a pan in my mouth with every bite of the firni. This is the first time I have tasted this kind of a dessert. It was really amazing and well done. Ended my food journey with kokam sharbath, it was different from all the others I have tried.
This place gets a lot of online orders and is also packed, still people wait outside to have a meal here. The place is slightly small has about 7 tables, considering the way people flock here I guess they should extend the place. Thank you kokani katta for helping me have such a beautiful experience.

I visited this place on a lazy Sunday afternoon with three of my college buddies. Konkani Katta is located around 15 minutes from mira road station. It's quite easy to locate and is at a place having decent surroundings. The ambiance here is quite simple and classic having 6 tables and each can occupy 4 people. The ceiling has a hanging net and other things which given the Konkani feeling. Also, all of us loved the Konkani Maharashtrian music that was being played throughout our presence.
So we started our food journey by ordering some starters.
Surmai Tawa Fry- The fish was damn fresh and well fried. The spices over the fish were delicious and I'd recommend this if you want to try a fish starter at this place.♥️
Kolambi Rawa Fry- It is basically fried prawns covered with semolina. I had never tried something like this before and I'm in love with this dish. It was my personal favourite starter♥️
Chicken Sukke- For for all my Non-Maharashtrian friends, I'd like to clearify that this dish isn't dry chicken 😂 Don't expect boneless, but the chicken was nice and tender. There's little gravy with the chicken which tasted heavenly. A must try dish🔥
And then we ordered for Thalis.
I went for chicken masala thali with wade. This Thali included chicken thick gravy, extra gravy, coconut chutney, wade, sol kadi, onion and lemon. The gravy and wade made my favourite dish 'kombdi wade' and I absolutely loved it. I ordered for extra sol kadi not because what they serve with the Thali wasn't sufficient but I just loved it's scrumptious taste.♥️ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Moving towards the desserts, chef Nilesh suggested Pan Phirni. We did not regret going by his recommendation. Phirni was very delicious.

I recently visited this place with my friend to try it out it's about 4-5 km from Mira road station. Its a Small outlet located in Mira road but the food they serve will surely make you start loving this place alot.
This places serves some amazing malvani cuisine, this place gives alot of malvani vibes with it's ambience decorated with fish nets and it's music.
The staff here are really friendly our servers were Motilal and Sagar who were really friendly and helpful. We even met the chief or owner of this place who is himself very friendly and has a really Charming personality.
Now moving over to the food:-

These were to good. They went really well with the chutney which was provided with it.

This was the best starter I had here. The chicken was so tender and juicy. And the gravy was just heavenly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
3️⃣ Pomfret Rava Fry:-
The fish was really tasty and really fresh. On having a chat with the server he informed me they only use fresh fish which is brought everyday from the market. Cheers on that.

1️⃣ Surmai Tawa Fry Thali:-
It consisted of Surmai fry, a fish gravy, Sol kadi, small dry prawns and chapati / rice depends on your choice. It's really filling and tasty.
2️⃣ Crab Masala Thali:-
We even had Crab Masala Thali, this was heavenly. The Crab was huge and insanely good. It's gravy was something to die for. They even provided me a crab cutter which helped me Break it's shell and have Its tender meat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
▶️To end our amazing meal we had to desserts to end our meal on a sweet note:-
1️⃣Gulab Jamun:-
Gulab Jamun was really sweet and tasty. Just loved it alot.
2️⃣Ratalyachi kheer:-
This was kheer with chanas in it. The kheer was mildly sweet and was a really balanced dessert. A perfect dessert whole can't handle too sweet.

Thali's were mouthwatering and a perfect meal anyone can have for lunch or dinner.
🔷Desserts - We had the gulabjamuns, Kharvas, Mangane, Pineapple Sheera. Every Dessert was delicious and perfectly sweetened. I personally loved the pineapple sheera the most. Must try item.

Yesterday i went here with my family to have sea food as it was last day to eat nonveg before Shravan starts.
This place is located in Miraroad and serves Authentic Kokani Food.
Ambiance is great with indoor and outdoor seatings but now as it's rainy season they only serve indoors. Kokani songs are played in background which totally gives kokan vibes.
As it was last day to eat nonveg before Shravan starts the place was almost full still the service was fast and food was served hot and tasty.
We had :-
• Kairiche Pannhe as their welcome drink which was sweet and sour in taste and it was totally refreshing.
•Prawns Stuffed Pomfret in starters and it was very tasty and yummy. Prawns were stuffed in Pomfret with some green chutney masala and served with green coconut & mint chutney.(Highly Recommended)

This thali consisted of Sol Kadhi, Kismoor, Salad, Chutney, Thechaa, Fish Curry, Rice, choice of Chapati/Bhakri/Bhajaniche Wade and the main component that is the scrumptious Surmai fish fry..🤤 The flavours were very authentic for all of them. Fish was nicely cooked with a crunchy outer layer and moist inside. All in all a very satisfying experience..😍
Egg Sagoti Masala Thali - Most of the components were similar to the previous thali apart from the Surmai fish fry and fish curry, which were replaced by Egg Sagoti masala. It was spicy and hot, but lacked in terms of flavour, probably because of the overwhelming taste of other elements on the plate.
Kharwas - A dessert that was not too sweet or heavy. The consistency and texture was just the way it should be. The perfect end to a heavy meal that one would most probably have here.

This place is quite far from miraroad station. It's around 3 to 4 km away from miraroad railway station. One can get auto from station to kokani katta.
The space of kokani katta is comparably small but ambience of the restaurant is very well decorated with fishing net, lights and some seafood posters.
Seating is well arranged with mixture of simple wooden dining table and chairs.The restaurant is very clean and neat.
Staff is friendly and professional and services given by them and very quick.

Kokani katta very good place for people who like maharastrian food. Their ambition is to maje their customer happy with their food. Their ambience is outstanding. Staff was very knowledgeable. Service was great. They have very good non vegetarian food. Visit the place for awesome Maharashtrian food. Cleanliness was perfectly maintained by the staff.
I tried,
1) kokam saar : it is an Indian moctail. It was very very good. I loved tasting it. Many things was mixed in it which was very nice. It was very refreshing.
2) vangya che kap : what an amazing starter. It was made up of brinjal. I loved this brinjal. It was very tasty. I loved it.
3) veg thali: wow thali, thali was very big and good by tummy was full after eating one thali. There were many things in that thali. It was proper thali. It was just awesome.
4) paan phirni : it was a kher with the taste of paan. Which was very good. I loved the dessert. Their was small small jelly peace on the phirni.
I loved visiting the place. Place is very good. Must visit the restaurant for having a delicious food.

Want to try Pure Konkani Food, then surely visit this place. As the name of the restaurant itself describe the speciality . They serve veg as well as non-veg food. But the speciality of this restaurant is Sea food. They serve authentic Konkani Sea food. It is located at mira road east . The interior of the restaurant was beautifully decorated with different lights and had wall painting. The sealing was also decorated with light's and fishing net. Overall it was the best place for non-vegetarian....
Dishes I tried
👉 KOTHIMBIR VADI :- It was made from coriander leaves . It was served with a spicy dip . The dip was made form mint and green chillies. It was very good option for vegetarians.
👉 KOLAMBI BHARLELA POMFRET :- This dish was my personal favourite. As it includes my favourite fish Pomfert. The fish was perfectly cooked and it had a stuffing of of Prawns which made it more delicious and tasty. The presentation of the dish was also very good. Highly recommended 💯.
👉 SOL KADHI :- It was a verg refreshing drinks . You can say this as Indain Mocktail. It is made form coconut and Kokam. It is pinkish in colour and very refreshing.
👉 MUTTON KHARDA MASALA :- It was a very good dish. The Mutton pieces were soft and very juscy. It had a thick Green colour gravy which was little bit spicy. It was served with Kokani Vade but you have the choice what you want with it, you can get chapati and Bharki of 2 types. It was a complete packet of flavours which will brust into your mouth. It had a authentic Konkani taste. If you visit here then surely try these dish.
👉KHARWAS :- At the ending of your meal you need good desert but this is not good,it is the best of all you can get in a desert. Kharwas is made up of milk and looks like Paneer. It is very soft and very sweet in taste. It best kharwas which I had ever tried in my life.
Overall it was a very good experience for me because I am a non-veg lover and what I get here was the best with wide varieties of dishes.
Konkani katta ..andl authentic Konkani style restaurant and serves typical Konkani style fish dishes which are delicious. It is a hub for fish lovers. For starters we tried the prawns wrapped in bombay duck which was unique and yummy. Also I loved the promfet fry... rawa was crisp and tawa full of masala..both were delicious. They offer a variety of thalis both veg and non veg. I'd definitely recommend non veg for this...we had the surmai fry thali with rice bhakris. The quantity was very good and fish fry was too good. Also the chicken sagoti thali with the famous konbadi vade was quite heavy and spicy and full of flavours. The one pink coconut chutney in all thalis is super delicious. To top up this amazing meal do try the speciality desert the pan phirni is really good for pan lovers. And don't miss out on the gulab jamun..they are super soft and amazing.
Kokani katta is a place serving pure malwani food.
They are famous for their sea food but veg people also has a good option. I visited this place with my friends and really loved their food. The ambience here is quite decent with nice painting on their wall.
They have inner seating as well as outdoor seating.
I must say if you are a sea food lover , this is a must visit place with your family, frnds or loved ones.
Coming to food we had Kokam sarbat which was very refreshing, Kolambi rawa fry was just delicious.
Chicken kharda masala thali was Mouthwatering with so many items in it and at the end i ate kharwas in dessert which was really a unique and tasty dish too.
Having this mlawani food here really made me happy and for a second reminded me of my village food. Do visit here with your friends and family and try the dishes mentioned, am sure you will fall in love with them.
