The Sunday brunch that I had here has undoubtedly been one of the best meals of my life !! If you love top quality works class gourmet cuisine with authentic flavours, imported cheese, olives, seafood , exotic European and Asian dishes, this is the perfect place to catch their Sunday brunch!! Having a special fondness for JW Juhu, I have been to the Lotus cafe twice, one for a family dinner and one with a friend. The location of the place is just right down the staircase and its a huge place, can be a bit noisy at times. Primarily a place for Indian food, it also serves Italian. The place is known for their buffet spread and it is as better as it could with such a variety that all you can do is just taste all the dishes and you'll be full. But it comes with such a cost.
Coming to my visits, I have had a la cartè on both my visits and it has been wonderful both the times. With a limited vegetarian menu, I have almost had everything veg in the place. The Indian food is good, so is the serving. The sabzi's, the biryani, the dal rice everything has tasted good. Even though I would not call it extra-ordinary but it does not let you down. With a view like that and the wonderful ceiling height, it will surely leave you mesmerized. I have had the Pizza there which was decent and would recommend you to stick to the Indian. As a suggestion, if you are in the mood for Italian visit their place Mezzo Mezzo, it is amazing. I have put up a review on the same.
On the visit with my friend, I had requested them to get me a Tiramisu from Mezzo Mezzo as it was amazing and since the Tiramisu was not there, our server offered us access to the entire dessert spread of Lotus at the cost of one dessert. And man, it was amazing. There were around 10 desserts from Chocolate Walnut to Rasmalai to Butterscotch cake to Pancakes to Waffles. We just had a blast over there. Talking about the service, the servers make sure that you are satisfied and are super attentive.
Will be going there next for the Sunday Brunch or for the buffet dinner. Till then, Cheers!

Located inside JW Marriott, the Lotus Cafe is certainly one of the best cafes in Mumbai for everyone looking for a delightful experience along with some good food. At the Lotus Cafe, you get to choose from the wide range of cuisines that include Italian, Continental, North Indian, and Asian. Though this cafe is expensive than what you would normally expect, it still offers one of its kind experience. The interiors are wonderfully designed and atmosphere would leave you elated for sure.
Pizza and pasta were very good in taste would recommend the pizza the ambience was perfect for a brunch i loved it😍
The breakfast buffet included anything you could want. Very tasty and very well presented and served. The offered us a survey day one which we replied to with some negatives. They immediately addressed each one and ensured each following day was 100%...

We ordered the vegetarian pizza which was a little bland and had to spice it up with órgano chilli flakes and tobasco
Later we ordered Strawberry milkshake which was average and tasted like it’s home made. The look of it was not appealing.
For dessert we ordered chocolate hazelnut fondue which was really delicious and mouth watering. It tasted healthy and had a good presentation also.
Before the meal we were served with everyone’s favourite - complimentary chaat sev puri.

Went to this place on a Saturday evening for the buffet. It was one of the best buffets with a great variety. The options available were too good for the price. The overall decor of the hotel was top notch. The only feedback I would like to give is that the service was slow and staff was unresponsive, which brought down the overall experience, and decreased one star.
This is the open dining space of the jw marriott hotel which operates buffet. I tried the breakfast buffet here which covered great options - gujurati, maharashtrian, south indian, punjabi parathas, & english b/f options.
Right from dhokla, khadvi, patra,thepla, aloo paratha, gobhi & green peas paratha, dosa, uttapam,idli, eggs to order, puri bhaji, missal pav, chole bhature, upma, live pancakes counter, fresh fruit juices, detox juices; they had everything available. The staff is nice & service is good. Tried their bombay tava pulao as well. It isnt the pav bhaji masala flavored tava pulao which i had expected it to be; it was a nice vegetable pulao nicely flavored. Good quantity and well presented served with raaita, salad & papad.

I visited it with my family and was amused to see the great spread of indian, italian and mexican delicacies. They have chaat, pizza, pasta and burger’s live counters. I loved the italian spread and chaat.
In desserts, they also have waffle/pancake live counter.
Go empty stomach, i bet you will return fully satisfied. The staff is very friendly and courteous. If required they will help you in every way possible.
So, one must definitely visit this place without second thoughts!
It’s an amazing place right from the ambience to food to service. We had penne arrabbiata pasta, paneer lababdar, and Bombay tawa pulao. Each and every food item was just too good. We were also served complimentary sev puri, pani puri and desserts. One of the best places to visit in Juhu.

Margherita; was basic cheese pizza topped with tomatoes & basil leaves.
Vegetariana; was a pizza filled with all vegetables like carrots, zucchini, bell peppers etc. It was flavorful, one must only order it if they like vegetables filled pizza.
Both the pizzas were thin crust & consisted 8 slices. Pizza lovers might like the pizzas where as they aren't as chessy as other restaurants but the quality of the pizza was unmatchable so it was worth a try.
Other information about the place:
The restaurant in the evening had an outstanding live pianist, who played Bollywood songs on the piano & which made the evening delightful. The staff was very courteous & the pizza was taking a while to get ready so they gave us complimentary sev puris.
Over all we would rate the place 4/5 stars 🥳🥳

If you want to enjoy a lavish and luxurious Brunch in Mumbai, then Lotus cafe is the place the be !
The buffet spread at the Lotus Cafe is so huge that it can literally spoil you for choice. With over 5 cuisines on offer, my personal favourite from the spread was the asian section. From chilly chicken, to noodles, to thai curries, to sushi, you name it and it was laid out on the spread. The Indian section was an elaborate mix of biryani, curries and sabzi's for people looking for authentic Indian fare.
Coming to desserts, with a whopping 120+ varieties oj offer, the dessert section is a total delight. My favourite from this section was their chocolate pudding and assorted cakes.
On sundays they have live music too , which adds more to the charm of this beautiful restaurant.
There are few tables that give a great view of the hotel so my small tip is to reserve those tables in advance to enjoy the view with the delicious food.

It’s an another iconic place in Mumbai. Place for Bollywood events and parties. Entrance is grand and make you feel the royalty around it. I visited this place in June with my wife and friends. One of the biggest cafe I have seen in a five star hotel. The front side is covered with magnificent view of the pool side and greenery. we had few beverages and sandwiches. I enjoyed it fully. Price is on the expected line touching the sky, but worth because of its A+ hospitality and aura. Although they have couple of other dinning places as well worth visiting but this is my favourite. Evening time is best for coffee and snacks. Being a VVIP restaurant, you will be lucky to stop celebrities sitting next to you. Every penny is worth spending here.

It is a small thing but with a fine dine buffet, You expect atleast a welcome drink or soft drink. I have not encountered this situation anywhere where you pay for buffet and Rs350 for every glass of coke where they keep the can and glass on your table and leave.
Maybe I over expected but overall for the food quality, food options and ambience Lotus cafe is a must visit place.

The live music was good which enhanced our mood. Now coming to the actual part of the review --Buffet? Overall the buffet was more good looking rather than being tasty. Only a couple of chicken and prawns starters were delicious and some live counters like Chaat, Pizza/Pasta and some sweet dishes in the desert section.Rest of the buffet was bland and tasteless which is not expected after paying such hefty amount for a Unlimited buffet. The food could have been improved in terms of taste. To conclude, one should go for it as you would have something to choose and eat from the massive and lavish buffet.
