The TBK was on our 'to do list' as its FB page was luring us with its images and people's dining experiences. Finally today I can say 'Mission Accomplished'.
I must say we were made very comfortable and were looking forward to be struck with the 'food coma'. We were welcomed with refreshing drinks. The Kapadias are an amazing hosts. The service was excellent with Nafisa Jr suggesting and explaining dishes along with directions of how to devour these delicious dishes.
The dishes here were some of the most deliciously authentic that we have tasted. Hats off to Aunty Nafisa (mother chef) who lets us savor such delectable authentic Bohri cuisine. Each and every delicacy is cooked with loads of love and it's mind blowing <3
The Meethas were sinfully delicious.
The superhero of the day 'Raan in Red Masala' was truly luscious with balanced taste, feel, aroma and looked splendid.
The surprise dish 'Phirni' just melts in your mouth.
The dish is tasted heavenly!!!
The 8 course dinner at TBK was the perfect blend of flavours topped with dollops of love.
Surely will return here for more authentic food and love.
Cheers!!!
If you are a hardcore fan of non veg food , this is your dream land. The Biryani is succelent and the meat is so precisely cooked, it literally melts in mouth. Do try the halwa of the day, quite amazing.
Good food , good experience, good hospitality, great memories!!!
Amazing experience and a must try especially for non veggies. The food n the hosts r equally loving. The spread was so varied n yum but at the same time so balanced that after enjoying every bit of it for non stop 90 mnts never felt blotted or over filled. And noticeably first time I cud enjoy all items served, not missing even one single thing. Highly recommended 👍👍
Simply loved the food, a very elaborate spread and yet each dish was as good, if not better, than the previous one. There is a certain way to have the food and menu is designed and dishes are served accordingly. The brief explanation about each dish gave us a mini tour of the culinary culture of the Bohri clan. Liked the homely ambience, the genuine hospitality of the hosts and last but not the least the yummylicious food. It is an experience in itself! If you are a foodie and a non-vegetarian, then this ought to be your go to place. We are coming back again for sure
Hi had ordered kheema samosas and cutlets were very tasty and loved the packing also dont know why people r complaining about customer care infact the person was very polite and delivered my order in time loved the service and taste vl recommend to my friends and family All the best
I heard of TBK from a dear friend of mine and it was on my list for a while.. thanks Dhivya for taking me to this food paradise.
Loved every bit of food which was served on the thaal. The authentic taste of the food, mouth watering menu, warm ambience and the simplicity and love of the hosts made my TBK experience very memorable.
Can’t wait to visit TBK again.
An Experience of a lifetime. If you love meat or food or spice or life, visit the Kapadias for a once in a lifetime feast. 7 course fine dining is passe, The Bohri Kitchen’s 7 courses is going to give you food coma worth dying for!
This place is absolutely amazing. Skipped a meal before attending but Bohri Food Coma (a huge positive) still happened. Go with friends, family or alone, the food steals the show, always.
A great Saturday lunch experience at the warm and large-hearted Kapadia's home. A 10 course meal starring their famous kheema samosas and delicious Raan in two colours, along with seafood specials. Loved it!!
For a long time me and my friends were planning to go to Tbk and am glad that finally today we all could make it .. If you relish non-veg food, then you must go and experience the delicacies at Tbk.
Everything from drinks (coconut cooler) to starter (Red Raan & keema Samosas), the main course Mutton biryani & Icecream were all mouthwatering.
Nafisa Jr., I love the way you explained the dishes, which not only brought in anxiety for the dish but also made us realize the history and the methods of relishing the dish. Of course, it also built expectations for the next courses to come - and they did exceed every time.
The overall experience was amazing. Kudos to the hospitality of Tbk team, especially uncle.
Nafisa Aunty Aapkea hatho mea Jadoo hey .... Bahut hie tasty khanna tha ...
We ordered from The Bohri Kitchen for a get together of 25 people at home. Our order was 3 Kgs of biriyani. Our visitors left licking their hands. The biriyani is extremely flavourful. Loved the addition of potatoes. Also it was neither too oily nor too spicy such that even my 4 year old could wat it. A special mention for the service which was immpecable and the way the food comea backed in sturdy foil containers its thoughtful and even on a day with lashing rain the food arrived fresh and hot. Thank you TBK
It was like great food killing you one course at a time. Incredible food, incredible hospitality and warmth..an afternoon spent well.
We were in Mumbai for the weekend and a friend of ours told us about this fabulous home-dining place. We didn't know what kind of an amazing experience we were in for. Located at cuff parade, the organiser and the hosts prepare a hearty lunch for people and invite them over to talk about their culture, love for food and the amount of effort gone into preparing each dish. We were a bunch of us sitting at their place and the genius behind the food - the owner's mum specially cooked a 7-course meal for us while her husband very sweetly and generously served it all to us. There was a thaal placed in the centre of the living room where all the dishes were placed. They told us the right way to eat each of the condiments placed in the thaal. The homemade pineapple raita with boondi was a serious surprise. Never had that refreshingly awesome combination ever. We started off with the kharaas, savoury appetisers and began munching on the smoked mutton keema samosa which was da BOMB. The chicken pattice were very homelike, The adhrakhi mutton shammi kebab were the serious melt-in-the-mouth kinds.
After the massive feating on appetisers, we were served the dudhi halwa to change our taste pallet. We were then served the raan in kaju masala that was marinated for 48 hours before it was cooked. And the garnishing of coriander and egg whites surely added to the taste. All of the food that was served to us was so light, not oily or greasy like most restaurant food.
We moved to the Jaman, the main course and had yet another mind-blowing dish. The chicken rasheeda was cooked in rich masala, fried onions, and tomato-based gravy. It was served with crispy and flaky hot paranthas.
And finally, what we were actually waiting for all this long - the lamb seekh biryani. Not too spicy, not at all bland. Just the perfect blend of masalas. It was so rich and aromatic. And the surprise element was the cheese and cashew-based chicken seekh biryani. Not everyone's cup of tea but we like our cheese a lot so there was no way we didn't like it.
This food may have been in abundance but it truly didn't make us feel heavy. We obviously skipped our breakfast and the dinner after to enjoy this lavish lunch. By the end of it, they served us some yummy hand-churned guava ice cream with shreds of guava in it. Loved the red chilli sprinkle on top of it. And finally, they gave us some paan to digest all that food.
The home-dining event takes place every weekend and you can go and register your spot. They keep changing the menu but we must assure you, that it is all so tasty that you'll go again for it. The humble service o the people took our heart. Our stomachs and our hearts by the end of the meal were filled with an enriching bohri experience.

P.S. - the location may not be correct but the review is totally heartfelt :)
Finally got around to visiting The Bohri Kitchen for a meal on Sunday and what an absolutely amazing culinary experience it was! Yes it was not just a meal but an experience as our gracious hosts engaged us in conversation, explaining each and every dish before we dug in. The food itself was beautifully cooked with every morsel teeming with flavour from the Kharaas (starters) and the Meethas (sweets) to the condiments and beverages. While I enjoyed every dish, my absolute favourites were the Raan in tangy sauce, the Russian chicken cutlets and the Date chutney. This may not have been my first Bohri Thaal meal but it was by far the best I’ve had. A homemade experience to the fullest!
One of the best dining experiences and The Best Food... From the smoked kheema samosas to the Biryani and everything in between the food was delicious, home made and very authentic. I loved the Malai khaja the best as well as the khichada as well as the Biryani... Well loved everything! We will be coming back her again and again.
It's a home dining experience where we even made new friends!
Thanks for the delicious dishes and explanations! We do not typically enjoy lamb, but it was all very tasty.
Loved the company, tradition and hospitality 💯😁
After getting to see lot of videos about this Home Dine experience finally visited last weekend. I must say the food was really amazing. With the entire flow of 7 course meal starting with Mutton Samosa and ending with Paan was a delightful experience. My favourite being Raan. The only point where I am not giving them a total 5 was the dining experience. At first I felt there will be a separate Thaal for each family but because there was around 20 foodies so we had 1 Thaal with food coming in and we were suppose to attack on those food. I can totally understand the space constraint and Home dining concept. But overall it was a wonderful experience and will recommend all foodie especially Non-vegetarian to try this Home dining experience once. Just make sure that the booking is done well in advance as Home dining facility is only available on weekends and with Lunch facility only.
A delicious experience of tantalizing your taste buds with a burst of flavour in every dish...
Mutton samosas, Chicken Shahi rolls or the amazing brain cutlets or THE RAAN... just about everything makes you to want more!
The thaal experience may be overwhelming but truly worth it. So do visit soon.
Just feel that they should limit the invitees to 15 or less, with over 6 to 7 sharing a thaal. That relaxes u a bit and helps u enjoy the meal more
The day we went by, we were plied with Triangular Mutton Kheema Samosas were stuffed to the brim and fried crisp, Melt-in-your-mouth Chicken shammi kebabs, Nariyal Kebabs had herbed potato mash and coconut filling, moulded into ovals and deep fried which were paired with condiments like coriander and coconut chutney, chunda, dates and dry fruit chutney and wedges of lime. After appetizers we had droll worthy Malai Khaja which is also called Bohri puff pastry. The idea of having alternate savoury and sweet dish is to break the monotony for the taste buds and it also accelerates the speed of eating more.
The starters were just a precursor of all the goodies that were yet to come. Mains flowed in and the Raan Roast in red masala caught my eye. It’s Marinated over 2 days in exotic bohri masalas, garnished with Salli and Coriander which was accompanied by Rose Sharbat with Sabja Seeds. As your appetite gets going, it’s time to try Mutton seekh biryani which was highlight of the meal for me. The rice was so flavourful that it could even be enjoyed without the meat, Teamed with Pineapple Boondi Raita and home-made jal jeera, the biryani scored on taste, authenticity and honesty of flavours. We couldn’t move an inch but still we made room for exotic hand churned Mango Ice-cream and traditional paan.
A truly fulfilling home dining experience that all meat lovers should experience at least once. The seven course meal just keeps getting better with every offering and one will truly have the Bohri Food coma by the end!
Delicious and mouth watering food served at a reasonable price. specially loved the dum gosht biryani it is just so satisfying . I would say the best place in the town to have a bhori meal and at the end the gajar ka halwa just made my day. A must visit place with family and friends
The appetizers are simply too good! No complaints at all coz they're just wayy too addictive. What should I say over the biryani, the meat is succulent on every bite and full of flavours. You should definitely grab some time to go have or order it home, you won't regret!
Best food that I have ever eaten, the meal just gets better with every course. By the end I was just amazed by the fact that I had eaten an elaborate seven course Bohri meal. Trust me still living the Bohri Food Coma. Don't know where to start from smoked samosas, shami kebabs, raan, biryani and so much more. I need to sleep now bye xD
This was my first dining experience which I could call 'fine' in the truest sense of the word. Despite belonging to the Muslim tradition, so many delicacies came off as a drool worthy surprise to me. As much as I loved the food coma and could go on and on about it, I think it'd be unfair to not mention how homely and personal the hospitality was at The Bohri Kitchen. Would definitely recommend as a mandatory experience in Bombay.
Had the feast of my life, still in bohri food coma. I can literally name all the items from the start samosas, kebabs, malai khaja, raan in red masala, chicken wings, malai barfi and the star dish mutton seekh biryani. This place is a highly recommended, y'all can visit them on weekends (Sat- Sun)
The spread is phenomenal, from the start till the end I was blown by the amazing flavours. Each dish is distinct and unique. The blackcurrant and mango barfi, raan in red masala and the seekh biryani, I can't stop thinking about it.
Wuff ..... to be honest writing this review while i am still in the bohri food coma , No doubt that all bogri kitchen outlets serve their guests royally , but if you havent been to the bohri home dinning experience then u shall never realize as to how MEHMAN NAWAZI has been exalted to by these folks .... not only r u greeted to the finest food on earth bt the manner in which mariyam nd fly makes u feel home is incredible ......
Now comming to the food ..well folks beleive me after ur done nd if u r asked to choose the best .. then its the biggest battle b/w ur brains nd ur taste buds .... the starters are simply blissfull , once maryam has given u the instruction only a fool shall nt follow dem , the samosas nd the chicken shami kebabs r cooked to perfection , its taste nd aroma is the very tool used to start inducing you int bohri food coma , the raan nd the chicken wings redefines the main course .... last coma attack here is the biryani ....... holaaaaa ders mich mre ...to this experience that words fall short fr ....so try it once nd in maryams words ==== ATTACK
I am the mom-chef at The Bohri Kitchen, as much as I love cooking and feeding, what's more important to me is the smiles on your faces. Visit me and my family at our home dining experience and let us take you through the seven course experience :)
If you're looking for some delicious bohri style food there's no better place than The Bohri Kitchen. Their amazing flavors will always make you come back for more :D
Delicious food. Amazing taste and sumptuous quantity. Had a great experience overall, would definitely recommend people to visit and enjoy the amazing taste!
HUGE fan of Bohri food. Every dish is so mouthwatering 🤤♥
All my friends enjoyed it too. Would love to be there again and then again and again 😍
Had an amazing time at The Bohri Kitchen. Very hospitable and welcoming. Great great food. The caramel custurd is out of this world. Overall an awesome experience!!!
I bought my non Bohri friends to the dining and the experience was just awesome. Aunty made the food and uncle served it to us. It did not feel like we had come somewhere different, it felt like we came to our relatives place to have food. The Raan was just the star of the day and the White Chicken Biryani was so flavourful. The Malai Khaja was just mouth watering. I would surely bring more friends and colleagues. Its a great place for catchup with friends and it would be a great team activity if we came with colleagues.
Well being the Chief Eating Officer and son of the Mom Chef I've grown up eating this food and I must it's absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended. You will in all likelihood want to apply for adoption.
Superb Hospitality. Fabulous food. If you want to take friends and family for super food this is the place to go....A sumptuous seven course delight
Excellent yummy food. A must try for one and all. The starters, mithas the jaman are worth the experience. The family hosting the bohri kitchen is very warm and friendly.
The vibe of this place is awesomazing. TBK's home dining experience is one of the best experience I ever had. Munaf's mother is a great cook and combining with his dad's hospitality, you would never want to leave this place, trust me!
Through this experience I got to know so much about the Bohri community, culture and the most important, yummy in my tummy food.
Aunty's Biryani, cutlets, raan in red masala, rose sherbet and roasted dudhi halwa is to die for. You can see in the images.
One must try this experience and trust me the next thing you will ask is a bed to sleep! :P
Lovely food. The service is exceptional. The meal was steady and got better with each serving. The raan was the best dish that was served. It was succulent and fell of the bone.
An experience that one should not miss.
Superb place to eat. Friendly host and tasty food. Ms Maryam has excellent management skills. Do not forget this place , it is totally worth it.
Sumptuous, fabulous and wholesome. Must visit with family and friends. Authentic traditional Bohri food. It’s heavenly for non vegetarians specially mutton eaters.
Awesome food! Experience of a lifetime !! Not only was the food excellent but the people at Bohri Kitchen are so friendly....highly recommend this place!
Wonderful experience.
Great conversation and amazing fingerlicking food..a must visit with family and friends....Had a great time. Keep your later afternoons free for a siesta after the meal...
Best food i have had. And a great place to know other people. Different dishes served with love. Bring in a lot of people and enjoy the food. 😊
My experience in one word: Legendary!
Dudhi Halwa, Raan in Red Masala and there's Biryani with the emergency beverage (Jal Jeera Soda) and that's not even 40% of what's offered.
Experienced Bohri food coma this Eid at the Bohri Kitchen. From savoury to the main course, to the dessert, everything was perfectly cooked. Especially enjoyed the Smoked Mutton Keema Samosas, the 48-hour cooked raan and a special Bohri dessert called Sheer Kurma. I recommend this home dining experience to all the meat lovers who are seeking an offbeat dining experience in Mumbai. Also, makes an excellent choice for corporate team outings.
One of the best caramel custards in Mumbai. Tastes even better when you have it at their outlet

Homely atmosphere, curated menu, generous with portions, 7 courses with ample variety, fantastic experience and a must-do again...and again!
Amazing food and good experience! Must try with friends and family! Eating together in thaal is the must have experience! Worth the visit!!!!
Amazing host, great food and awesome experience. This was our second outing to TBK and we loved it. Loved the rann and keema samosa. Best of luck Munaf and team
Our experience at TBK Colaba was really nice. The homely atmosphere and the experience of eating home-cooked food was novel and interesting. The food was subtly flavoured and suited for a variety of palates, and it was a unique experience to dine in a traditional Bohri fashion, with the sweet and savoury courses adding a nice variety to the menu. The Raan and Mutton Biryani were some of the best dishes, and Munaf and Mariyam were excellent hosts.
The Bohri Kitchen is an epicurean delight. It would be an understatement to say that the food is awesome. Great ambience and such a personal touch of the Kapadia family. It was beyond amazing! It is undoubtedly worth visiting.
Came here for an eid lunch. Best. Decision. Everything from the starters to the mains to the desserts in between and at the end was nothing less than extraordinary. It's truly an experience that you don't get at any restaurant in Bombay. The people were great and uncle and aunty open up their home to make it feel like yours. The love that goes into the food is startlingly apparent.
Guys they are true.. This is the place for food lovers and there is no place for hate. Truly a mouth watering feast. No word to describe.... Go for it..... 👌
This is a mind blowing experience - the khichra and boneless chicken on a stick were my favourite. Kudos to the team for such a great experience.
Its a complete food coma said in a best way possible.. Sundays complete with this awesome experience. A Big Shout out to Mariam and all lovely hosts who made us feel at home. Great food ,great ppl ,great conversation. A must Visit. Thank you guys :) #)👍😄😊

Food made from thr heart it just fills your soul with flavors!!
The pics in my review tell your how my little ones to me enjoyed thr seven course experience to the soul..
The Bohri Kitchen was an absolute delight! We ordered in for a party we had at home. The bohri mutton biryani and the mutton kheema samosas were a real hit and a crowd pleaser! Had a word with a gentleman names Trevor over the phone and he was extremely helpful and sorted everything out for me. The food arrived before time and was well packed and sealed. Had a lovely experience and will definitely be ordering again! #biryani #bohribiryani #muttonbiryani #kheemasamosa #delicious #party
Absolutely loved the food and this amazing experience of Bohri thali .
Definitely recommend this to everyone... also let me warn you before hand uncle will overfeed you 😂❤️❤️❤️... lots of love !
In a quite neighbourhood in Colaba, sits this elegant home which houses amazing Bohri Cuisine.
It was my first Bohri feast and it was sumptuous foodgasmic experience.
Starting with the Smoked Mutton Samosas to Egg diped Whole Fried Chicken it was a fiery start to the Appetizers.
Amidst the feast there were moments of sweet delicacies served to cool down the palate.
The Rann kaju masala was to die for.
The meal climaxed with Amazing Mutton Bohri Biryani and sancha ice cream.
In total a sumptuous foodgasmic experience awaits you over here.
Cheers TBK
Really in love with this place. It gives you an environment like your home. The idea is fabulous. The food is amazing and appetizing.
Just a piece of advice:- "come here without having breakfast or lunch and with your stomach being empty"
Homemade food experience just couldn't be better! Both Nafisa and Munaf are great hosts. Do visit this place when in Mumbai. Need not worry about breakfast, lunch and dinner when at The Bohri's. :)
My third time here and still counting...and TBK never fails to provide the most amazing culinary experience! Carefully curated menu and a foodie's paradise for sure.
Very good bohri thaal ....you need to go here with an empty stomach or else it’s a waste.....good food raan is excellent plus the biryani and last hand churned ice cream
You need to experience this place, it is a lot more than about food. ❤️ You can taste the 48 hours in raan, the love in Kaju mutton and the biryani. 😍
One of THE eating experiences you have to try. We went as a large group of 7 and were welcomed so graciously by Munaf and his family into their home. The food is stunning, the Russian cutlets, the Rann in different masalas, the kheema samosas are wonder items which you savour long after you’ve consumed your fill. This 7 course meal dovetails beautifully with sweet dishes (palate cleansers of sort) which leave you begging for more. You should resist the urge to go for repeats on your first go though because you really need to give all 7 courses a proper go.
Munaf’s engaging narrative, which guides you through the spectacular array of dishes, is second only to Aunty’s culinary mastery. The Bohri Kitchen is a delightfully charming and finger licking foodie journey you must try.
We a family group of 9 had a wonderful experience of food & hospitality and it was great like before. Half of us were first timers. Such a balance of ingredients & what a taste - hats of to great lady. And of course warm hospitality of the entire family especially uncle’s. Would very strongly recommend this place. It’s a unique home dining experience - Saturday & Sunday - 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
Have been trying to visit this place since over 4 years. Finally had the opportunity, yesterday. It’s literally a feast at someone’s house that you’re invited for. The food, is to die for.
The mutton kheema samosa is unbelievable, a must have.
The raan in different masalas is the best.
The biryani, especially the bohri aloo is the best.
It’s difficult to come up with words for such a satisfying meal. All I can say is that auntie is gradually becoming a legend and that she is getting a lot of good wishes from the grateful people she feeds her delicious delicacies.
Cannot wait to visit again. Super stuff and the host Munaf is a great engager who ensures you have a great time. Visit in a group and give him a few days notice and you will have a feast to remember.
The Keema Samosas, the Biryani and the Raan are to die for. Fabulous meal, amazing hosts. Such a unique experience. I would definitely recommend making a trip or two :)
Thank you and your team for the incredible catering at my 50th Birthday Party . We were so pleased with the presentation of the meal and the exemplary service of all your staff.
The food was not just delicious, it was royal specially the smoked mutton samosa ,chicken biryani & The veg version of Yakhani pulao, the spices , the aroma was incredible.
The overall service you provided was just outstanding.
People are still raving about your food. Thank you so much for being the perfect caterer. You’re the best!
We will undoubtedly recommend you to everyone.
We will be in touch and we hope to
see you soon. Best of luck with the rest of your events for the rest of
the year.
Wishing you all a very happy & prosperous new year !!
Thank you!
Jyoti & Sandeep
The mutton boneless biryani is a family favourite . The mutton is soft n succulent . The rice is flavourful. It’s customised strictly to our preference. Delivery timings are adhered to. Packing is pristine. Will always come back for more.
Amazing food. Great service and delivery. Mutton Biryani, raan biryani, chicken angara are a few which I have tried and are mind blowing at taste. Their malai khaja is a speciality and a treat to the taste buds. Keep up the good work guys! Thank you very much!
We recently hired TBK for our Diwali party, and they exceeded all our expectations. From the delicious, authentic food to the professional and punctual service, we couldn't be happier. The entire catering team ensured our guests were well taken care of, and the compliments on the food were endless. They made our Diwali celebration extra special, and I'll definitely use their services again in the future. Thank you for making our party a memorable and delicious experience!
Ordered dinner last night for myself. The quantity is precisely sufficient for one person. Had ordered 2 appetizers from which the chicken cheese roll was delicious although a little salty and the Russian Cutlets were well made and simply melted inside the mouth. If you are ordering for one person then the quantity of both the dishes are 2 pieces each.
I also had their mutton biryani and it's a must have.
In all it was a nice experience and you could definitely give them a try!
Definitely 5 ....Kadirbhai .....it was awesome.....I am bohra myself so taste was just the same as my mom makes and other things like packaging and presentation and timely and secured delivery was super .
Tufail Bhai helped so much and answered all my queries with uttermost patience.
So happy to order from you guys .
It's been absolutely a pleasant experience.
Our friends also loved the food and I have given your reference.🥰🤗
Thank you once again ☺️
Thanks
This is the first time I’m ordering from TBK … I’m Late though to have missed the food from so many years… I had heard about it when TBK started many years ago but a few of my friends reminded and pushed me to try it. This time I made it a point to order in advance and make my New year Party memorable.
Thanks TBK
WISHES From me and my Family including my Parents..
Superb Food, GOod presentation … my next target is the Bohri THAAL ….
It was our dear comrade Taher's birthday and day of obligatory lunch treat for the office. He has never disappointed us but this time he absolutely upped the game. Food from the bohri kitchen! First, we tried the Nariyal Kebab meant for our Vegetarian colleagues and the Gulab jamuns, absolute heavenly perfection. And the crown goes to the main course... Biryani. So delicious and tasty! The Biryani is made using fresh ingredients including the most tender, succulent, juicy mutton. Delectable, mouthwatering Biryani, we all cherished and loved every last grain of it. Can’t wait to try other foods on the menu.
Had a wonderful Saturday night dinner, special thank you to Kadir, The Chief Tasting Officer. The delivery was spot on-time, the packaging worth every penny (as you can see in the picture). The food was worth the wait. I have visited Munafs house for the sit down experience. Was missing that and after the dinner last night it brought back all the memories. Loved the biryani and the non veg platter was gone in no time. Amazing baida roti and the Russian cutlets my favourite. Will be looking at ordering again and thank you for delivering all over Mumbai, it's such a blessing!
The long wait was finally over with lunch at The Bohri Kitchen. Amazing concept and amazing food.
Had been seeing the Facebook page since quite some time and finally managed to eat the so much talked about Bohri food.
Booking and coordination is quite easy through WhatsApp. Moving on to the location. Again very easy to find. And finally you enter the heaven for food.
The concepts shared and the wait before the meal really gets your appetite running. The big Thal arrives and then starts a culinary adventure quite unlike any at present in Mumbai. The green chutney, the onion jalapeno mix the dates chutney the raita all play their part in this wholesome meal. The meal starts off with a tender coconut cooler. Light and refreshing. The kheema samosas, the chicken Russian kebabs and the cheese corn cutlets start you off. Then comes a sweet dish. The raan follows the sweet dish and the meal continues with more sweet dishes and the main course.
Overall the food and service is top notch with no equal competitor in sight. If nothing go for the community service style of eating and enjoying some amazing Bohri food.
