Romano' s is the best place for Italian food. We had a friend from Egypt come to Mumbai and we stopped by Romano's. Everything was just perfect- the ambience, the food... special thanks to the manager Ms.Ashuli and our servers Sandesh and Baby. This recommendation is straight from the heart .I highly ‘Insist’ you try the hot chocolate here which comes in a large white mug . Its the best I’v ever tasted ! Yes I couldn’t help myself asking for a 2nd mug back to back .Creamy , chocolaty , perfectly balanced sweet & comfortingly warm . I wanted to just be lost in this chocolate heaven & couldn’t stop sipping on to it & echoing WOW with ever sip .
Buratta with pesto tomatoes
Again a classic served cold which was instantly refreshing , juicy & tender being freshly made from scratch which retains the moisture .The amalgamation of tangy tomatoes , fresh basil fragrant pesto & silken soft Buratta garnished with micro greens played hide & seek with your taste buds .Loved it .
Risotto ai funghi
Star of the evening generously topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese on a bed of assorted mushroom & Arborio rice . Solace thy name is Risotto . You would want to curl up with the cushions on your couch after devouring this scrumptious piquant main course. Every dish presented in this posh restaurant is a feast to all the senses as they resemble a piece of art chiseled to unmatched perfection .
Tiramisu
In the Christian religion there is a norm where once you commit a sin knowingly or unknowingly ; you have to visit the church ; go to the confession box & ask the Lord for forgiveness . I plan to do just that after devouring the most SINFUL TIRAMISU of my life . This dessert is an Experience of a life time which simply cannot be defined in words . The moist lady fingers brilliantly soaked with premium quality coffee liqueur layered with generous amount of Mascarpone cheese which dissolved in the mouth .Quantity sufficient for 2 people . You forget all you worries once you dive into this pool of resplendent sweetness .
Vulcano di chocolate
Chocolate lava cake served with vanilla icecream & crushed butter cookies & nuts . Please note you will have to visit the gym every single day for atleast a week after relishing this plate of forbidden goodness .The chocolate cake oozes with melted chocolate inside . My mouth waters while I write this .The name is apt for the dessert which is a sheer volcano of chocolate & has the ability to satisfy every frayed nerve of your body .

The staff is friendly & ever smiling with adds that extra points as bonus to your experience . They have A to Z knowledge about every course which is served to you hence imparting a lot of minute information about the ingredients .The servers went out of its way to showcase Romano’s hearty hospitality when they gifted my friend a box of dainty pastries when they were inform that it was his father’s birthday that day with HAPPY BIRTHDAY beautifully piped on them . A special mention to Ashuli Saini Restaurant Manager who took IMPECCABLE care of us .

Exceptionally Sophisticated vibe and the ambiance is superb. The High ceiling, the theme of the place, it's mesmerizing. The staff is so courteous and cordial. This is one of the few places where you can have the taste of authentic Italian cuisine. As the chef specializes in authentic Italian, it was great talking to him and knowing so much about the cuisine and his recommendations. Their pizza is completely fabulous, a perfect blend and the sun dried tomatoes were just perfect. I really like the way the actually shred the cheese in front of you if you ask for more cheese. It was an amazing experience and would recommend everyone to visit this place at least once if you are a true Italian Lover.

One of the best Italian Restaurant i have ever been, All thought it was not Romantic but when you are hear you realise how beautiful and wow the feel is.
The Staff was more mannered then i ever could be, they way they sprinkled pepper on to the soup, for once i felt i was being treated like a ROYALE, you can smell the freshly baked breads and the puffed up dough.
The pastries and the Tiramisu makes your tongue and taste buds touch Nirvana
This expensive places makes hole in your pockets but ensures you are buying a hell lot of wonderful experience along with some good tasting and looking food.

Superb restaurant, amazing food and great hospitable staff! Can’t recommend this place enough. I visited Romano’s on my birthday. We were greeted at the entrance by Aren. She asked us where we would like to be seated and I told her that it was my birthday. She made sure we got the best table. We were then looked after by Pratik, Nepra, Earl, Yatin and Somi. They all went over and above to make sure I had the best birthday possible. Everything was impeccable, from the friendly and hospitable staff to the ambiance and food (and great wine selection). This is hands down the best Italian food I have had in Mumbai. Would also like to mention Rushab from the kitchen who did a great job with the food. I will undoubtedly visit again!

I hate eating at 5-star hotel restaurants. I feel their food is mechanical, tasteless and safe. It seldom has flavour. Romano's however, shatters this notion. Their food is excellent, their menu is limited but each dish is packed with flavour. We forgot collecting our pizza leftovers, that when we went to take back, they made a whole new pizza for us to take as they had trashed the old one. We insisted that there was no need, but that's the extra effort the restaurant took. Service staff is kind, chef is brilliant, food is Italian at its finest in the city. The chicken and truffle oil pasta (to. die. for!) is a must try.
I loved the atmosphere; it wasn't too crowded, the staff was welcoming. The food was fresh and wholesome, it didn't fall short in taste nor in quantity. I think it is the perfect place to visit if you really want to treat someone special to some good food and have a lovely evening.

Their signature mushroom risotto has this mushroom flavor which no other restaurant can match up to! Most risottos taste of the rice or cheese more than the flavor of mushroom. Easily one of the best Italian meals I have had in Mumbai in recent times!! The food service and ambience are all amazing!!! The mushroom bruschetta is a must try as is their truffle mushroom pizza! Also a special thank you to Yash our waiter, he gave us amazing recommendations and was also super friendly! My favourite Italian restaurant, and not just because it shares the same name as my son.
Customer service: The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It is an elegant space but you can dine there with children, and they provide suitable yet comfortable seating. Thankfully our two little foodies were super quiet and behaved so no one knew they were there until we were ready to go.
Ordering service: We arrived on time, and staff were attentive so our orders were promptly received. They were able to bring out the children’s meal while we started the appetiser, and when we moved on to our mains, the kids were served their dessert. A fantastic way to keep the kids from going hangry and allowed us the opportunity to chat and eat in peace.
Food & Drinks: We chose one appetiser as we did not want to spoil our mains. We couldn’t resist some real prosciutto so the Salumi Misti was an obvious choice. This was perfectly paired with tasty cheeses and pickled yummies. For mains we decided on three pastas (there were three of us adults). The Linguine Piccanti, Malfatta Della Casa, and Gnocchi Al Ragu. My husband had the first, he loved the spice explosion. I had the second, and absolutely loved the creamy truffle flavours. Our mama had the latter, and said it was perfect! We all tried each other’s and had the same results. The portions are large so we were all quite full half way through but none of us wanted any leftovers, even if we had to be carried out and into our car from over eating. I was super full and happy!
Dessert: Hubby had the chocolate cake, he loved it! Nanna opted for the tiramisu as I had read reviews about it being the best, and it certainly is the best Tiramisu in India! The kids had chocolate and vanilla ice cream with strawberries, and were content for the rest of the evening.
We were all satisfied with our meals, drinks and the service. I will be going there again. Thank you for a lovely fine dining experience (with mother in law and children).

First met Mr. Melroy on the desk who offered us the comfortable seating, what impresses us is he came back and asked if we are comfortable with seating. Alrina and Avlon our servers were prompt and knowledgeable, thanks for their recommendations. You can actually see how chefs are preparing the pastas and other meals. Special mention to Italian chef Roberto. There’s uniqueness in their Tiramisu, my all time favourite Dessert.

The grandeur of this place take you on a different tangent and vibe all together. Very very Italian look and feel of this place compliments the authenticity of the food and drinks. The Negroni I had was absolutely amazing and one of the best I ever had. The warm bread that was served was fresh. The pizza was amazing. Wanted to have a main course and dessert but was running out of time. However will be back soon!
Oh what a fancy place. Totally love the ambience, the menu is vast too. But the service was not upto the mark. Surprisingly the cocktails were really tasty. Ordered two Salumi Misti. Gonna come back soon to try the other good stuff on the menu.

We always have had a great time at Romano's. The restaurant is massive, and that's the first thing I love about it. The open kitchen is amazing and I love to watch the chefs at work. They offer great quality bread when you enter, and we always order pizza Romana and follow it up with some sort of pasta or a salad. Wine on display is always great - although it is a bit more expensive. I love Romano's and always suggest my friends to eat here.

Pomodoro Bruschetta:As authentic as it gets;like u wud eat on the streets at italy;Yum;colorful;healthy
Piadana al forno:This is of flatbread from romagna an area best known by tourists as rimini:This is filled with zuchini;pesto;argula:Very fresh with a taste of lard and miniscule of olive oil:Here again the pesto super-fresh with light bitterness of argula towards the end.

Gnocchi in gorgonzola sauce:Isnt a pasta but made with potato and this texture which is soft,fluffy and airy works perfect with gorgonzola and cream makes it an calorie-laden sauce
Linguini Piccanti:A roman staple:A perfect dish with all its complexity:Hint of spice from chilliflakes and flavours from robust garlic.The sun-dried tomatoes add a bite and character to this dish.
Canolli:Light:paper thin canolli shells crisp:perfect creaminess to ricotta:with powdered sugar sprinkled above and the pistachios to savour;all in one bite.
They have a sunday menu called Pranzo consisting of these veg dishes and a list in the menu non-veg ones too:U can savour from both of the choices.

Romano's is easily the best Italian restaurant you'll find in Bombay. Whether it's the warmth of the food or their staff, you pick your reason to come back here! I don't usually believe in 5 Star restaurants but this one I can't help go back to time and again. I've been with family, with friends, with my husband; and each time their food seems to get more defined. Their cheese-mushroom sauce is what will draw you in for comfort & their Tiramisu will help you get light headed! Basically, don't drive back home, get a room in the hotel and sleep off your good food hangover. In our case, we really should've done that since they topped our meal with an in house cake to celebrate our anniversary. We know where we're coming back 1 year later, again, if not sooner than that! Special about out to Baby who is such a well informed server, that we will trust her blindly on our next meal!

With it's beautiful black and bronze theme, Romano's serves a delight both to the eye and the palate. Although we could not try each dish on the menu, but we were delighted to the core with what we were served.
The team was kind enough to recommend the Burrata, which was a hit. We also tried the Mushroom soup (zuppa di funghi ) and the Risotto Al Funghi with the Rustico pizza all of which was amazing.
For dessert we had the Tiramisu, which was superlative
All in all the service, the staff and the food was splendid.

J W Marriott never fails to impress me with it's service. This was my second time in this Marriott hotel. This restaurant is one of the few authentic Italian restaurants in Mumbai. The place is really well done, very classy. They have ample seating. The best part of it is that they have a great looking open kitchen. The staff is very courteous and approachable. Inspite of it being a 5* it's a warm and friendly service. The food is amazing. Well priced with good portion size. We ordered a bruschetta which was basic, simple yet great tasting. The Margherita Pizza was really nice, lovely crust with just the right flavours of the sauce and cheese. I'm too fussy about the cheesiness on my pizza but this was just perfect. The gnocchi al arabiatta was hands down the most delicious one I've had so far. They also have amazing desserts. Definitely recommended.
My experience at Romano's was great! It has a beautiful ambience with a really good decor and soothing peaceful music. The food was delicious! We had lamb chops, prosciutto pizza, the Chilean sea bass and soo much more. The food was absooutely delicious and they have a beautiful wine list. If you are a wine enthusiast then do give this place a visit. Alrina and baby were our food servers and both of them were really well-versed with the menu and cheerful. Dhaval was serving us our drinks. Great service. Kudos to the entire team! Strongly recommend!

It was a while since went to standalone Italian Restaurant, so we decided to go to Romanos and try out our favourite food, Pizzas.
Romanos affrimed our belief in the saying "Pizza is eternal", we think it is one of the finest italian restaurants in the city.
The ambience and the service was a very nice.
One must definitely try their pizzas, supremely delicious.
We look forward to visiting them for a sunday brunch soon.

Romanos’s is my personal favourite. I think it’s the best restaurant in Mumbai. Ambience is fantastic, service is super efficient and most importantly the food is atrociously delicious.

Romano is clearly the best place for Italian food in Mumbai. I have this from the most reliable source, my Italian food and cheese obsessed Italian Canadian lady, Natalie. She’s spent almost a decade scouring this city for food that reminds her of home, and this comes very close. This is without even getting to the extremely knowledgeable, friendly and warm staff who really know what they’re doing. This visit isn’t our first, and certainly won’t be our last.

Romanos and their impeccable service.. alongwith the taste of their food.. made me bring out my inner chef in making gnocchi. We tried thier Zuppa di mare (a seafood soup), Minestrone di verdure(for the veggies), gnocchi 4 formaggi, risotto al funghi, bistecca di agnello(steak). All of which I must say had our mouths watering. A must try!! Oh and the ambience makes it worthwile.
Celebrated our third anniversary at Romano’s! Such a memorable experience. The experience was amazing right from the smooth table booking through Zomato, the ambience, the service and food.
We ordered the Malfatta Della Casa pasta, Stinco Di Agnello meat dish and Della Casa Pizza, everything was cooked perfectly and we especially loved the Pizza and the meat dish.
To top our experience, the staff served us a fresh chocolate cake, on the house to celebrate our anniversary! Thank you very much guys for making this such a memorable evening :)

Lovely ambience, transports you back to Italy. Love love love the food..!!! The pizzas, the pastas, risotto absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, great blend of flavours, and seamless presentation. The staff is also very courteous and updated about the menu and gave us some great suggestions. Since we were celebrating a birthday had ordered a chocolate mousse cake from their bakery and I really need to make a special mention for the chef who personally came in for the cake cutting and served the ohhhh sooo delicious cake for us.!! Has to be one of the best cakes that I have had in a long long time. All in all a place that you would want to visit over n over again.
An awesome dining experience! A must go for all Italian food lovers. The Burrata was outstanding & so was their Sea Bass. A special thanks to their manager Dinesh for making my mother’s b’day even more memorable ! Will definitely visit again.

Loved the warm feeling you get as soon as you enter. I think the service was more than delightful and when you get a good service, you automatically fall in love with everything else. We were given the classic Canapé along with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, simply the best. For mains we had Romano's signature pizza called the Della casa. Oh, how beautifully authenticated it was. As soon as it was placed on our table, it looked like you've picked out just the right ingredients straight from your personal garden. Now when you take a bite, you'll know the best cheese combination that ever made sense. So so soft and so scrumptious. This pizza was definitely one of the best ones I've had so far. Too good. The quantity can easily suffice for two.
Move over every Italian restaurant in Mumbai for the king is here to stay. Italian food is much about love and simplicity and Romano’s exemplifies both. My son and I were celebrating our last night in Mumbai and we could not ask for more. From the gin and tonic to the Osso Bucco ( with a twist) it was perfect and the staff added to the spicing and the flavor. The pasta with the wild mushrooms and chicken was beyond exquisite. The angel hair pasta with scallops and shrimp in a tomato gravy was elegant and not loud. I could go on and on about this place but for those that care to read my reviews, this place is a must visit for its ambience, food and the overall warm service. I just loved it...

I visited this awesome place yesterday for dinner and I must say I made a right choice. The ambience is excellent and we were warmly welcomed by Alrina, who explained each and every dish to us. she helped us select the right dish, which we truly enjoyed. I really relished the Vulcano Di Cioccolato, the Zuppa Di Mare soup and the Frutti De Mare. I look forward to visit this place once again with my family. Such a loving and warm atmosphere to dine after a hard day's work.

Must go place to all the Italian food lovers. They personalize every dish listed on the menu. Apart from that, if you need any other combination, they serve as well. This, I found very helpful specially we had toddlers and grandparents with us.

My first time at their Sahar outpost. The Juhu one is my favorite. Sahar just seemed smaller & less buzzy. But swamped with staff eager to help out.
We were there to grab a quick bite having finished a meeting. It’s the Marriott & is obviously lovely. But there’s a stark difference between Sahar & Juhu. Sahar is a lot formal, lot more corporate & really not that noisy. So we could enjoy our cuppa & work conversation peacefully.
We tried sandwiches 🥪 - chicken & a club. Both came with a generous helping of fries & some salad. Yumm & delightfully crisp.

I enjoyed eating in JW Marriott. I have tried different restaurants in mumbai, but what interests me most is the Ambeince and the food. The restaurant has a huge seating capacity.The food is excellent so it’s well worth the price. Great service, wonderful ambience, modern restaurant design and to top it all beautiful Italian food and wine. This was unbelievably tender and the taste of sage was just wonderful. Exactly the type of service you would expect from a well run establishment.All in all a fabulous meal.

the pork belly is extraordinary, the chef put some apple puree between the skin and the meat to reduce the greasy, it's an amazing idea!! The asparagus served as a side item was very fresh. The tiramisu was very good at the beginning, the rum doesn't cover the coffee favout at all and the texture of the cake is perfect, however, it's a bit too sweet when compared with the traditional one.
Romano's is on the first floor (lobby) of the JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. It is an Italian restaurant. The food was good, though lacking in authentic Italian flavors. The service, however, was good. The staff were attentive and efficient. The restaurant's ambience was classy. Prices were reasonable.

Visited Romano's recently for a special occasion, and my husband and I were floored by the place. It's got lovely high ceilings so you have a feeling of space, which is rare in Mumbai.
The service was impeccable. Our host Niket was so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. But above everything else, the food and the cocktails were delicious.
The wine poached pears were smooth and luxurious; the bruschetta came with unique toppings like fava bean, artichokes, chickpeas, and mushrooms, and it was all so good. We chose eggplant parmigiana as our main course, and were not disappointed at all. I wanted to try a few different desserts, but we settled for the chocolate mousse with Nitro frozen raspberries (an absolute delight), and took the lemon ricotta cake home for the next day. Highly recommended!!

The food was phenomenal as was the service. We just had one of the salami pizza and 2 desserts but Arbaaz was so knowledgeable and kind. The wine (image attached) paired so well with our pizza and the icing on the cake was the chef taking the effort to meet the diners. Would definitely come here again… perfect for a date night, birthday dinners or other special occasions too!
