Saffron has a wonderful Indian spread on offer located in the lower lobby of the plush JW Marriott Hotel.
Taste: 4.0/5.0
We had ordered
>> Drinks (Mocktail)
Carribean Delight
A blend of pineapple, cranberry, mango juice topped with coconut cream. Tasted more like mango juice.
>> Starters
Saunfiyani Bharwan Paneer❤
Huge chunk of Paneer filled with melting curd; tasted mild & delicious.
Palak Moong Anjeera Kebab
It's a dark green kebab, full of mashed palak & topped with crisp moong dal. I didn't quite the texture & taste that much.
Dahi Akhrot ke Kebab❤
If you love hung curd & paneer this is for you. Melt in the mouth kebabs with lovely balance of flavour.
>> Main Course
Bhuna Lahsuni Palak
Palak based gravy, spiced & topped with fried garlic. Usually I don't prefer green gravies but this was awesome.
Zaituni Kofta Anari
Olive koftas tossed in sour tomato gravy. The gravy was too sour for my liking.
Dal Tadka
Dal was simple & wholesome.
Safed Chawal
Simple steam rice.
Naan E Zaatar ❤
I love Zataar Spice & so ordered a Naan. It was nice & crisp.
Ulte Tawe ka Paratha
Huge Paratha probably had kneaded with kesar & milk. Slightly sweet but super soft in texture.
>> Desserts
Paan Icecream
Refreshing flavour of paan.
Rasmalai
Very subtle flavour soft chenna & good portion size.
Service: 4.0 /5.0
Staff is helpful but can definitely improve the speed.
Ambience: 4.0/5.0
The place has simplistic decor. The lighting is dim & pleasant. Has seating for huge groups as well as couples. Lovely open kitchen where you can see them making Rotis.
Value for money: 4.0/5.0
Definitely expensive but what else will you expect at a 5 star hotel.
Love this place. Enjoyed dinner here.
Good food, Good quality, Good service that is all you want. Satisfied with the experience. Food is quite delicious and ambience😍. I ordered some paneer starter and kebabs and Biryani. My favourite dish is biryani. Must try simply awesome
Walked in here with a purpose. Was expecting authentice tasty Indian food. Was not disappointed.
Ordered the Ghosht biryani, Handi Rogani Murgh with Lachha paratha, Rumali Roti and Kulcha.
The meat was succulent and well cooked. The flavours were subtle yet impactful. In all, a very good experience. Good service too.
Must visit for an authentic Indian experience.
The price was well worth it and upto the standard you'd expect the fact that it is housed in India's oldest Marriott hotel.
Another one of my most favourites ones is Marriots ; be it in any city or country I travel and Marriots have to be on Top list. Being a mumbaikar; Often visit JW MARRIOTS st juhu to have fresh grilled prawns or my ever fav Tuna sandwhiches .

Went to saffron for dinner and had the best Dining experience thanks to chef Abdul quddus. Excellently curated menu, one of the best five star experiences.
The chicken shorba was light and full of flavour. Authentic to the bone. The galouti was melt in your mouth. The prawns were perfect. And the black dal was the best I’ve ever eaten.
Totally worth the price. Truly delicious food.
Was here for my Aunt's 50th birthday, amazing place, we had the whole place for ourselves for lunch. the Food was exquisite loved the starters and the desserts especially. The staff was amazing and friendly. Service was amazing as well. They were kind enough to let us have a look into their five star kitchen. i loved the chocolate pastry it was one of the best I've ever had. Later as all our families were meeting after a long time, they let us sit there for 2 more long hours and also served afternoon tea. The ambiance is plush.
Good ambience and food , staff was very polite and great service , great place for a family gathering , light music and pool side restaurant makes all the way more great
Marriotts our regular haunt & usually it’s Lotus cafe.

Indian food. Yum drinks. Did some starters & it had us stuffed. The lamb dishes were awesome especially the rann e Quddus....divine.
Excellent service. Vinay Gowda who waited on our table was so sweet & prompt. Infact even Abdul, the chef de’cuisine swung by with explanations of the dishes etc.

Good food Great music and interesting Decore.good place for family and friends dinner party . Every Rice dishes is tasteful fancy desserts is treat for eyes.
Was here celebrating my friend's birthday eve. Ambience of the restaurant is not that great but food is absolutely delicious, I have visited many luxurious hotels restaurants in Mumbai but believe me Indian food at saffron is exceptionally good then rest. Tandoori kebab is lip smacking. Since it was my friend's birthday they gave us complimentary mocktail. In soup we had subz Ashraf shorba which was good, shahingi murg is worth trying. Dhungari paneer masala in main course was great. Coming to service attendant server Mr. Vinay gave us very royal hospitality. He made sure that we our comfortable and our evening is well spent. Thanks a lot Mr. Vinay we were delighted with your service. Overall great experience, and you all should definitely visit this place not just for ambiance but for food.
I had visited Saffron for my birthday celebration. Food is amazing. Service is also very prompt. Vinay was really prompt and welcoming. Since it was my birthday celebration he arranged complementary mocktails & cake for me and that was really overwhelming. We had a great time

Authentic Indian food and good service. Special mention to Mr. Vinay who took great care of us and made our Diwali & birthday even more delightful.
Had gone on my birthday here and had an amazing time. Vinay was our server and he was very courteous. A great place for a family get together.
Great Service and amazing food by Mr Vinay. Probably one of the greatest restaurant in mumbai. I recommend this restaurant to people who like spicy and indian food
Loved the food as well the ambience specially the staff in particular mr Vinay who made sure our dinning was perfect the butter chicken was amazing and so was the murg tikka
Well, I can't write enough about my experience, it was simply the best of 2018 for me, food was outstanding, we ordered prawns, malai chicken, dal, more chicken but what stole my heart was the chicken dum biryani, it was the best Biryani I've had in my whole life, perfect blend of favours, must must try, what I loved about this place was the personal touch by the staff, be it the chef who came to take feedback himself or Ajit who served us with so much warmth, big Kudos to the entire team... Looking forward to visit this awesome place sometime soon
There are times when you feel like eating down to the last available thing and you end up ordering starters where I did order a chicken tandoor and a Paneer starter and by the time I finished it we were already full.... looks like next time will have to go specially for a main course 😂.... the ambience is amazing and so are the staff ....good place to sit down and enjoy drinks as well 🍷 🍺 🥂
Best place to spend quality time with family.
Food is awesome. Must try murgh ke parche.
The staff is also very friendly. I had an amazing experience with my family in saffron.
Been to this place a number of times with family and it always been a goof experience. They have maintained their standards in service and food top notch. All the food preparation are good. The seekh Kabab served by saffron is the best i have tasted for a long time. If you want a quality time enjoying Indian delicacy then this is the place.
Official meeting on a weekend can’t be bad if the food is awesome. That’s what what this Saturday lunch turned out to be. The spread was limited but the taste was good. Butter chicken and mutton rogan josh turned out to be lip smacking. And to end the lunch, Halwa for desert was a nice touch.
Try their rasmalai and you will not like it anywhere else. Their platter is yummmmyyy.. lamb cooked well and chicken is tender and tasty. Worth it

Saffron at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, which is an Indian specialty restaurant, makes sure that you have a stellar evening that's packed with sensational flavors. With the appointment of Chef Abdul Quddus, came in a new menu inspired by the Royal Kitchens of the Hyderabadi Nizams and Awadhi Nawabs and it made for an absolute feast. Our dinner at the Saffron was full of interesting conversations, light humor, potent cocktails, and extraordinary food.
We started off with the a cocktail called The whiskey based 5 spice muse which was exactly what I needed after a long day at work. It's refreshing with a hint of cinnamon.
We next tried the Mewa kaam khatai, kuti laal mirch ka jhinga, and the Shahi narangi murgh. All of which were delicious. Loved the prawns, they were juicy and well marinated.
For our mains, we had the Shahi Nalli nihari (DO NOT MISS IT), handi rogani murgh, kaali dal, and garma garam butter kulcha. Finger-licking good food.
Nothing like a kulfi to end a meal this good, and that's exactly what we were served with rabdi.
Make sure you head to Saffron to try all these classics!
Overall rating: 4/5
Happy hogging!

Recently visited Saffron to try out a special experience by Chef Abdul Quddus and I must say we had a fantastic time! His new menu brings in new secret recipes from the royal kitchens of hyderabadi and awadhi nawabs. Would really recommend trying his daal - one of the best I've had, the Nalli Nihari and Raan-e-Quddusi - a must must try for sure if you love raaan! Cooked to perfection.
Saffron hosts many interesting festivals from various regions in our country which have repeatedly managed to impress us. One such day the restaurant introduced Chef Abdul Quddus who came with his special preparations from Hyderabad, Lucknow and other princely states of North India. We were delighted to relish the below mentioned vegetarian delicacies
Mewa Khaam Khatai
Subscribe Nimona Sikampuri
Tandoori Bharwan Aloo
Kali Daal
Rasmalai
Kulfi
We always look forward to the distinct festivals they host and are delighted with the vegetarian options they offer and ofcourse their hospitality.
Chef Abdul Quddus now heads the famed Indian restaurant at JW , Juhu - Saffron.
Chef Abdul Quddus with a background of rich heritage culinary traditions has put forward an all new menu with dishes such as the Raan - e - Quddusi and Narangi Shami.
The menu is widespread between both veg & non veg options, the only common factor is the rich taste of spices & flavour in both. I being a non vegetarian quite much enjoyed the vegetarian starters as well.
I believe the main course was the highlight of my meal especially the Nalli Nihari - mutton so soft and well cooked simply melting in ones mouth.
Turn around time for the dishes was also pretty fast and being an open see through kitchen concept we could see or food being prepped and plated. No complains about service, a simple raise of hands and there is someone within a minute to attend to your query / request.
Following is the list of dishes tried & highly recommended :
Appetisers -
Zaitooni Malai Jhinga
Shahi Narangi Murgh -
Subz Nimona Shikampur
Tandoori Bharwan Aloo
Mains-
Shahi Nalli Nihari
Handi Rogani Murgh
You should also try the galouti kebab options.
Coming now to the desserts we tried :
Rasmalai and Kulfi Falooda.
Thank you for an amazing culinary experience. Definitely a menu worthy to prevail in a 5 star hotel, a big thumbs up for everyone over here.
With an illustrious career spanning over 12 years, Chef Quddus’ new menu at the "The Indian Speciality Restaurant - Saffron by @jwmarriottjuhu " is sure to take the culinary a notch higher with his traditional cooking styles in tandoor and signature dum phukt dishes, along with a selection of curries like the Shahi Narangi Murgh, Subz Noor-E-Chasm, Gosht Awadhi Qorma and biryanis like the Zaffrani Dum Biryani, Shahi Ghosh Dum Biryani and Subz Chilman Biryani inspired from the famed kitchens of Hyderabad, Lucknow and the other princely states of North India & not to forget Chef Quddus’ special “Raan-E-Quddusi” a traditional family recipe being passed on in the Quddus Family through the generations ❤️
Coming to what we tried from the new menu-
Cocktail -
The Whisky based 5 Spice Muse
Appetizers and Mains-
Shahi Narangi Murgh
Mewa Khaam Khatai
Subz Nimona Sikampuri
Shahi Nalli Nihaari
Handi Rogani Murgh
Kuti laal mirch ka Jhinga
Dessert-
Rasmalai
Kulfi
The food was simple, authentic and had a blast of incredible flavours. We highly recommend you guys to try the new menu at Saffron.
JW has always been exuding the finest of the taste and class worlds. We were at Saffron a while ago to try out some Awadhi dishes, helmed by Chef Abdul Quddus.
We started with which was possibly the best well-balanced whisky based cocktail called ‘The 5 Spice’.
The appetizers were all sorts Nirvana material. I particularly liked the juicy, spicy Tandoori Murgh. The Malai Jhinga was soft and beautifully meaty, the freshness could be felt. The Mewa Kham Khatai was surprisingly up my alley. It was grainy and soft, and well-spiced.
From the mains, I dug the Handi Rogani Murgh. Smooth, creamy, gravy with the softest meat, I loved this and how! The Shahi Nalli Nihari too was fantastic. The meat quality again was exemplary. I expected the dal to be more creamy and heavy and expected to give me that mad guilty pleasure, considering my standards have been set by Kangan, Westin, but it did not really hit the right notes.
The DIgestif was quite delicious. Could just have a few rounds anytime.
The Kulfi and the Rasmalai were our desserts. I was quite full, so I just had scooped up the Kulfi.
All in all, a wonderful meal. The service however was supremely sloppy.
Go figure!

Saffron - JW Marriott Juhu.
Ask not what you can do for your country. Ask what’s for lunch.
Saffron specializes in awadhi cuisine from the royal homes of Lucknow. Explore the royal awadhi cuisine and experience fine Indian dinning experience in a sophisticated ambiance at this gracefully done up place located at JW Marriott Juhu.
Chef abdul quddus brings the unique and aesthetic flavours of Indian food to the city of dreams. The specialty fine dinning restaurant has the zeal and passion of serving real Indian dishes to people who love the typical indian species.
The all embracing ambiance of the place lightens your mood in no time. The interiors are very rich and classy.
Though avadh is the standout cuisine at saffron it offers kinds of Indian food too. So vegetarian who have no great love of kebabs or biryanis should not be discouraged.
Following are the things I tried.
- Cocktail - The Whisky based 5 Spice
· Shahi Narangi Murgh ( Highly Recommended)
· Mewa Khaam Khatai
· Subz Nimona Sikampuri
· Shahi Nalli Nihaari
· Handi Rogani Murgh ( Recommended )
· Kuti laal mirch ka Jhinga ( Highly recommended )
· Rasmalai
· Kulfi
PS - Ask for the galouti kababs. They have a fresh from the street of Lucknow quality to them that you would not expect at a luxury hotel.
A lucknowi biryani is quite unlike the biryanis you get all over Mumbai.
Glorious North Indian food. Asli maal. Try the 'pasliyon ka gosh' with 'naan churra'. Superb. Desserts are excellent too. Runs quite full. Requires prior reservation.
Excellent food ,excellent service, superb ambience and a special thanks to Vinay Gawde for making our experience a memorable one. Go in for their dum aloo it’s a must have !
Love this place.. love the quality of the ingredients used.. must visit place for Indian cuisine! The staff is lovely and welcoming! Would keep coming back and I recommend this to all!
I have been a regular patron of saffron and it’s like a second home to the family because of the proximity and also the food , yesterday was the new menu which was soft launched , being a stickler for fat in food was surprisingly happy to dine and the change was just perfect with the crisper taste and less fat , congratulations to the chef for hitting the correct note
All the best
Few months ago we had booked the private dining area here. One of the most beautiful food experiences. The staff was really great, they took care of all of our needs and requests. The live music was the cherry on top it definitely adds to the experience. The food was delicious. And months later I still can't forget the Galouti kebabs, that was the showstopper for us. Overall great dining experience.
I must confess, this restaurant never crossed my mind when compared with the others at the JWM Juhu. It was my daughter's craving for some good Indian grills that got me in there. It was a realization moment that I had missed out on some great Indian food my side of town. For Club Marriott members, eating out here is a steal.
Do try the Kebabs and Nihari here. The desserts are a delight too.
Saffron is a delightful Indian restaurant to visit. The food has some great recipes curated by their chef and outstanding Keebabs. The staff is very friendly and assist with all descriptions for dishes. Also they are attentive and generous. They offered us desserts on the House when they overheard my friends wishing me for my birthday eve. The manager was courteous to approach our table and she checked on our feedback too.
Landed in this restaurant because Lotus Cafe was not serving ala carte. But it wasn’t a disappointment.
Quiet and lovely! Thank you for the hospitality. Event spent well.
Amazing ambience as expected!
The decorations were top notch as well!
The chef was very helpful and helped my family as they wanted to have Indian food in Vegan preparation!
Service was impeccable!
Food was also very good!
Nice place.just wanted to have main course so ordered for prawns curry and warqi paratha which was suggested by one of the manager in the restaurant.
It was awesome ,lovely food and quick service.
Lovely risotto. Amazing ambience. Perfect place for evening romantic (expensive) date. Also choose your table strategically for a meal with beautiful view.

Situated inside JW Marriott JUHU. We had been for an unplanned late night dinner. Though we had limited items the place and taste were mind blowing for an Indian Mughlai restaurant. The complimentary desert kulfi was outstanding.
Excellent food! If you love Indian Mughlai cuisine this is the place to be. The staffs are very good and would like to mention about Herbert who really made our day by suggesting us the food menu.
Yummy!! Yellow dal, BaqarKhani, Roti & chicken.. tasted awesome!! Bilkul ghar ka khaana. But you guys need to recushion the chairs & liven the interiors a bit.
Saffron Restaurant at J.W Marriott has an ongoing Rampuri Food Festival, was a pleasure of mine to be there with amazing and delectating buffet and am truly gracious
to Chef Vishal Attreya for inviting me to the beautiful Rampuri Food Fest.
Going along with the Rampuri cuisine, the buffet starts with,
Kachche Gosht ki Tikki.
the minced meat kebabs more synonymous to chapli kebabs seared on a griddle
Fish Anjiree
Fish being a coastal forte becomes a true challenge for the northern Chefs to bring in the flavour but this Fish Anjiree is quite satisfying.
Paneer Baluchi
Baluchistan, being one of the four provinces of Pakistan known for food and flavors, Paneer Baluchi was big cubes of Paneer that melted at ease, a bit spicey in taste.
Main Course
Ghosht Tar Korma
Slow Cooked and Marrow gravy which is tangy and has a perfect in spicies goes absolute with the Roti.
Khas-Khashi Kofte
Mutton Dumplings enriched in poppy seeds gravy. a creamy white gravy.
Chicken Ki Kaliyaan
Chicken Gravy cooked with saffron, nuts, and spices.
A meal is never complete without Desserts,
Ghosht ka Halwa
Strange, mutton halwa…As the Chef says, it’s the recipe originated in Rampur and it is one of the lost Recipes, the meat halwa is cooked with minced meat, ghee,
scented with saffron and cardamom.
Adrak ka Halwa
for the ones who like the taste of Ginger, there is no better way to end the spread, Adrak ka Halwa requires a lot of hardwork in cooking to get the actual blend,
sweet taste and texture to the dessert, being cooked for around 8 hrs and approx, the halwa is truly a rise of apprehensions.
Gullate
Dessert made with Egg Yolk, more of like a egg-pudding with nuts.
Yakuti
Another Rampuri delicacy.
It was an amazing experience of mine to be at jw's saffron restaurant ..rampuri food festival, i truly loved it...
Very good "lazeez" Indian Food. Great ambience. Perfect service. 5 star prices. Even though it's one of my favourite hotels still I'm not biased if I say it's a great place for fine dining. Highly recommended.
This was the place wherein you can get to taste India , The Real India !!!!!!! The location beats everything !!!!!!! The soothing shore & sumptuous food nails it all !!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👌👍👍
Great food & service with a smile. The Paneer Makhani is absolutely gorgeous & a must have!
Special thanks to Sandeep for his impeccable service!
Saffron in J W Marriott serves the best Mughlai cuisine in Mumbai. Chef Qureshi and his team make the most succulent kebabs and curries which are truly amazing. Butter chicken, Burra kebab, Shami kebab, Ulta tawe ka kebab, Paneer Makhni served with naan and roti are to die for....
Had gone there for a quick dash meeting, really enjoyed whatever little i could sample, not to mention the ambience and the presentation of food... Will do an in depth review soon... But really enjoyed the Barra kebab served by Chef Quereshi... Amazing staff
Good food, great ambiance, fantastic location. Had dinner wid my friends. Food was really delicious. Chef surprised us wid specially made kulfi at the end which was complimentary from his side. Great service, friendly staff. Would love to visit agn.
The food is delicious. I ordered dahi ke kabab and archari paneer as starter, both of them were awesome. Daal e khas and paneer pasand was ordered as main course. It was tasty but the quantity was too less to suffice 4 people. The complimentary cake was yum. Service was too slow except for that everything was good. Overall experience was good
Visited Saffron with a colleague and right from entry until exit, restaurant manager Vivek assisted us with a warm service. The food served was delicious especially the mutton chops, Galouti kebabs and the dal makhni. Last but not the least, the crunchy bread of the shahi tukda and rich taste of the kulfi left us drooling for more. For sure going to visit with family next!
Thanks for the lovely food and fantastic service. Herbert nice service thanks alot. Really enjoyed your service. Hope to visit again soon.😘😊
Great interiors.. above excellent service.. ordered for cheese garlic naan, which melted in mouth.. tomato soup was also great.. daal e khaas deserve a special mention, definitely a must try.. all and all good place
Loved the daal makhni with roti and butter garlic prawns....
do visit if you want a 5 star meal around Juhu.
Great service too
highly recommended- will be revisiting to write out a proper review!!!
Recently in the first week of June my husband and I visited the Saffron Restaurant for an ongoing week long Kabab festival, especially curated by Chef Shahnavaz Qureshi.
A beautiful ambience and warm staff greeted us. Soft music played and the cosy corners made the environment very romantic. Beautiful classy artifacts.
The menu is A la carte and Set. The set menu was for Rs 2400.
The welcome drink was very refreshing.
Non veg starters were out of this world. Gilauti kabab, prawn, lamb and chicken all had distinct flavors and cooked to perfection.
Breads - Naans and parathas, so soft, buttery and delicious. I was eating them plain.
Main course and gravies - I must add here, veg and non veg were equally delectable. Not very spicy or oily
Dessert
The kulfi was a tad bit sweeter than usual.
Shahi Tudka, I preferred. The rose essense added character and uniqueness.
Bonus was the mitha paan served at the end.
Will I visit again? Oh yes, definetely.
Looking out for options for Authentic North Indian food made me go to Saffron at JW Marriot last evening.
Out of the never ending menu we unanimously selected- Lamb Galauti Kebab, Nawabi Murg Tikka , Salmon Tikka (Fish being must to have in our choice). Being so hungry we could give full justice to these tasty recipes. Done wit d starters, it was now time for d Main course. Taking help of d much acclaimed staff d order was placed for - lamb nihari , khamiri roti , lamb Biryani , chicken biryani , dal e khaas ( dal makhni). Wow we were done but simply cud not resist kulfi and shahi tukra for dessert. Trust me d shahi tukda gave us a Shahi experience.
On behalf of our entire family I wud like to thank the team. Server .. Sohan Patil who served thru out wit a pleasant smile, Herbert , Restaurant manager Vivek Atiwade and kitchen chef Siddhesh Dhuri .
Friends this is d place to b if you r looking for authentic North Indian delicacies. Thank you team Saffron...
Saffron an Indian Specialty restaurant. Very nice n cozy ambiance. Visited atleast 10 times during March. The hosts Sous Chef Mr. Chef Shah Nawaz Qureshi (Khandani Chef, Lucknui Recipes he learned from his Grandfather) and Restaurant Executive Mr. Soham make you comfortable and explain the menu very well. My favorite- start with Saffron Martini then gilawati kebab, nalli nihari, Malikay-e-Dariya (Fish Curry). I prefer to go for authentic Awadhi Breads - Khameeri Roti, Ulte Tawe Ka Paratha or Varqui Paratha. They also do have good Wine Cellar over there or Indian deserts like Motichoor Ice Cream. Going to miss their Lucknow Festival next month.
Visited March 2017
Best biryani if you prefer mildly spicy biryani. The kebabs and the shahi tukda were absolutely delicious. Service was very quick and efficient.
U want to eat authentic awadh cuisine? This is the place in town u MUST visit!
The saffron at the jw marriott mumbai juhu a personal favourite from a long time never disappoints you!
Visited it yesterday with 2 of my colleagues, we were late though and just managed to seek in a lil before the last orders!
If you are fond of kebabs then trust me this is the place u have to visit! Chef shahnawaz Qureshi and his team for sure will not disappoint you!
The salmon tikka - a must try! Such well spiced and marinated fresh salmon, you hv to try this dish.
(A special thumbs up to the tandooriya Chef Siddesh for this one) . Second we ordered was the gulaoti kebab - the moment u taste this , u would be mesmerised! Such soft and tender lamb! 👌 have never eaten a better gulaoti than this one! Truly their signature dish.
For the main course it was Nihari with assorted bread (warki paratha and khamiri)
Yummmmmm is the only thing u can say when u will taste the nihari! Such smooth texture and so mild in taste and "perfectly" cooked lamb, chef Qureshi wins the battle with this one for sure!
We also tried the dal-e-khaas (dal makhni) along with the chicken biryani!
The Biryani is to another level! The rice smells so tempting and unlike other Biryani u won't find a single drop of ghee left behind on your plate when u finish it!!
SUPERB DINNING EXPERIENCE! Special thanks to the servers! Brinston, Herbert and Rahul for making the journey at saffron even more memorable by providing flawless service!
We went to this place for lunch and they were serving thali at that time so I ordered non veg thali which was heavenly, the quality and the quantity both were great.

Good food, good service and comfortable seating. Enough care is taken to ensure privacy from the other tables...Reserve a table if you want to go here and yes watchout for the celebrity..you will surely catch one
We had gone to this restaurant for lunch, at that time they were serving thali, however on our request they served us the ala carte food. The food they served were nicely cooked good in taste and sufficient in quantity. They have vide variety of Indian food. They serve complementary papad before the food.
The service has to be good when you visit such places, the staff were well groomed and courteous.
The restaurant is big and has seating arrangement to accommodate all sorts of crowd. The interiors matches with the cutleries and glass. The table is also decorated with rose petal, which is suitable for couples.
We chose this place for my husband's birthday dinner which was the right choice because the food here was scrumptious by all means. The highlight of the dinner was the pan platter which was served in the end. The Dal Makhani is a must try .Perfect variety of Veg, Non Veg & Sea Food.

Good quality time spend at this restaurant inside JW Marriot juhu. The look of the restaurant n service was amazing.
They welcome n greet u in such a nice n sweet way to make u feel good n comfortable.
So here's my story. We had gone for my aunty birthday dinner party, We ordered (chicken tikka kebab & Mutton seekh kebab) for starters. It was yummylicious n juicy. The server will come to serve u kebab with that hot n sizzling iron Rod on which the kebabs r cooked. Then serve it to ur plate, njoy the hot hot kebab with nice spicy green mint chutney n chopped onion chilly n lemon.
Then main course we ordered( Nihari gosht n tandoori roti) the taste of nihari gosht was on top of the world, thick gravy with mutton pieces very very less oil n smooth hot gravy & the time after ordering ur food they serve u complimentary pappad with pickles n a piece of dahi potato wada. The service is really good n no Rushing of services like other restaurants they will get all the food u ordered together n make a mess on the table. But in saffron they will make sure that u complete ur meal course by course n no rush. So you can njoy your food n spend lovely time with ur loved ones.
So dont read it just go n experience by ur self.
Thanks for reading my review, peace n be kind to one another.

Another classy fine dining place at JW Marriott with the finest Indian food you could find anywhere. Yes it is not cheap but worth every cent or paise you spend here. Try the chefs tasting menu.
The ambience at JW Marriot Juhu always spells grand and classy. At Saffron, the Indian and Awadhi specialty restaurant at JW Marriot, the grandeur and class merges with tradition and completely Nawabi tastes giving birth to Riwaz – a concept that brings back the long forgotten and classiest, tastiest regal dishes to the dining table.
With appetite going on an overdrive at the very thought of Nawabi delicacies, I sat nursing my Saffron flovoured Gin & Tonic (try it – gives a whole new twist to the regular mundane drink) at the “Taste The Tradition” dinner. Rows of pickles and heaps of spices gave me plenty to peep into. Amuse Bouche was brought to the table – Pani Puri with a twist which was rather difficult to get into one’s mouth; I prefer a regular puri which fits into my mouth.
And then they arrived – the most tender Kakori Kebabs I had ever tasted. I was in seventh Heaven – the kebabs were made with the finest quality mutton mince and some khoya had been added to it making it even more juicy and tender. The Murg Ke Parche was wonderfully spiced with black pepper and garam masala which was quite different from the regular ones. Then there was the Pasanda Kebab – that it was spiced just right goes without saying; what needs a mention is the quality of meat served – it was top of the the line, the best cut with little bit of fat on it which added to the texture and
Giving the Bharwaan Mewe Paneer and Khubani Aloo a miss, I dived into the main course – the fragrance emanating from the Raan and Nihari Gosht was unbelievably appetizing. The Raan looked just the way a raan should – unfortunately for my over-salivating tongue, the mutton was a tad overcooked thus drying it out. The Nihari Gosht was flawless – perfectly succulent and perfect balance of spices – the amazing flavours had me craving for more but wisdom dictated that I try the Murgh Musallam too. If food flavours can act as a system of teleportation, I’d be in a palace in Lucknow, such were the flavours! The Hara Masala Bater didn’t work too well for me as I am not truly fond of quail. Having already over-eaten, I watched the Kachhe Kele Ki Sabzi, Khatti Arbi & Dal Qureshi being served. The Khichda was wonderfully full of flagrance & I couldn’t resist trying out a few spoonfuls – absolutely divine!
Do ask for a Saffron infused Vodka with Pineapple Juice and flavour of Elaichi to wash it all down when you are at Saffron, its quite unlike any other cocktail, delicious if one is fond of the elaichi-saffron combination
All good intentions of staying off sweets vanished at the sight of what Saffron calls Sweet Gold Platter – a visual extravagaza of a variety of gilded chocolate treats. This is a must try – your eyes and taste buds will say a huge thank you. I couldn’t resist the Shahi Tukda too and wished I had room for more.
There was only one way to bring the dining experience to a close, that is with a very traditional paan which was nicely laid out on a platter. As I sat relishing the paan, Chef Shahnawaz regaled us with insights into Awadhi cuisine.
The cuisine, the menu, the concept – Riwaz, Saffron, JW Marriot Juhu – all par excellance. All that food, and none too oily or too spicy – rare feat indeed and kudos to the Chefs!

Saffron is a "class" ahead of any typical fine dining place. Everything from their presentation to taste is just perfect. The ambience is magnificent and helps you spend quality time with people you love.
Amazing food. Awesome service. Splendid ambience. Love everything about this place. I won a free dinner for two for Saffron. But ended up taking my whole family. The prices burnt a hole in my pocket even though I had a coupon for two. But the experience is worth it!
A family new year dinner at Saffron. We were seated at a nice cozy corner table of the restaurant and made comfortable. To start of with were starters , didn't think much and ordered the signature ones. Achari PaneerTikka and Hare Matar ki kebab. Both were delicious , the Hare Matar ki kebab was perfectly balanced with flavours and tasted yum. For the mains it was Paneer pasanda and subz ki Peshawar, which were good. The best was the popular Biryani and Boorani raita. To end the meal was Malai kulfi.
Overall the experience was good, service can be a little better and improved . ambience was nice .
Thanks to the team and will surely visit soon.

You will never get disappointed with the food and the service 5 star for all.❤
It's one of the top North Indian/Awadhi restaurant in the city. Chef Abdul ensures that his magical expertise is manifested well in the dishes prepared at the restaurant. The ambience is really classy and evokes traditional Indian vibe in a calm setting and the service is excellent, something one expects from a Marriott restaurant. But I wish they had more vegetarian options especially in the starter section. My favorite is the veg biryani, I'm not a biryani lover but the preparation made at Saffron is too good that I want to have it whenever I visit this restaurant. Vinayak served us really well and made the dining experience top notch.
We went for a fabulous dinner during Diwali at Saffron. Amazing food and service. Would come back any time and recommend to friends and family! Definitely take the chefs recommendation on what to have for dinner. Our food was both super delicious and so nicely presented. We also had an amazing non-alcoholic drink, so good. Thank you!!
The starters including Dahi kebabs, lotus root shammi and makmahli broccoli are stand outs! The signature dal makhani and chole are a must try. Courteous and prompt service with an ambience of live sitar player make the overall experience so enjoyable!
Went with my family here and the service was excellent and food was very much the most delicious experience during our stay here in Mumbai. Personally recommend for families.
We had Excellent experience of this yet young restaurant. Fusion mixes of traditional food was very well done to lend good taste. Although portions are smaller but they appeal to the taste buds. Himachali origin food served with enthusiasm and neatness. Well appreciated. More veg options desired. Chenna Rabdi was another well balanced sweet with a dash of rose petals and saffron.
We visited Saffron last month. Food was Amazing. The quality of food was good. I just loved the ambience here. Best place to visit with families and friends.
We went for the lunch.. and the food was amazingly good, plus the service is also nice… would definitely come back and recommend this to my friends to visit Atleast once and enjoy the experience.
Excellent food. I was heading there before my late flight out of Mumbai. Juhu beach offers a nice walk, and then dinner at Saffron. Can't be a better finish of a long business trip.
Will recommend all to visit once they loved the place we believe, all things are superb food, service and Atmosphere
