The USP is that they sell ice cream sandwiches: a slab of ice cream is usually sandwiched between two wafer thin slices of biscuit, making it an ice cream unlike any other. Nothing has changed really, except they have not got more flavours to pick from.

Run by the Parsi family over the years, nothing has quite changed and their unique charm maintained through their sweet, refreshing, creamy and smooth ice cream bars. There are various brands out in the market, yet nothing can beat this old-time favourite. As far as I've heard, they served ice cream on beautiful glass plates to their customers. It was not until many years after,where they came up with their ice cream sandwiches. Personally, I have tried every single flavour they have to offer without any hesitation. Walnut crunch, coffee, seasonally available mango, muskmelon, guava and paan are crowd favourites. You could even be a bit adventurous and try out strawberry which is not heavily sweetened. Service just like a QSR, I would recommend this old school shop to be on your next visit to the Queens Necklace.
K Rustoms has been my favourite ever since I’ve shifted to Mumbai for the authentic flavour of its ice-creams. They provide an escape to my childhood days in which I loved waffy more than anything else, and a blend of modern times wherein ice-cream is a perfect mood lifter at all times.

They are known for their ice cream sandwich which is a small rectangular ice cream along with cone slice on both the sides.
They have a lot of variety. Here are some of our favourite ones :

Of late I have realized (with surprise and irony) that I do not have pictures from some of my favourite places to upload to Zomato. I'm sure the rating is hint enough, that this is one of those places.
As will soon be clear from the tags at the end of the review, I make it a point to bring everyone I can here, and that too when I'm not a Mumbaikar but only a (more or less) frequent visitor to the enchanting city.
I believe there's no ice cream flavour there that I haven't tried, but more than the ice cream now, it's about the memories the place brings. Come hell or high water (no pun intended) paying this place a pilgrimage is a must on my Mumbai trips.
They are a generations old family run homemade ice cream joint. They serve the delicious treats in the unique form of a small brick held in place by a thin wafer on either side. Their fruit flavours are amazing, their usual flavours are fantastic and their mint flavour is my favourite (but maybe I'm the only one as many don't generally find mint too palatable)!
All in all, I always rate it higher than Naturals even, when it comes to ice creams. Also, they give great bang for the buck.

rum & resins tastes exactly like rum bt it takes some courage to finish it off since after few bites u get bored of the flavor.
Negative point is that there is no place to sit and enjoy your icecream.

1. Peru - Guava ice cream. Fabulous natural guava flavour. Incredible creamy feeling.
2. Walnut - Nutty. Very nutty. Walnut flavour is not intense. The walnuts weren't soggy. Very good. Definite recommend
3. Kiwi - Fabulous. Not sweet. Perfect sour and tart like a kiwi should be. Again, cream was on point

It is a very old ice cream parlour and shuts by 11 pm. It’s a small shop and doesn’t have much space to stand ! The ice cream is tasty and comes with wafer. They also have a special seasonal menu which is always a must try. Ice cream costs around 60 bucks. My favourite one is the mango ice cream 😋😋

If you are at Marine Drive, you must make it a point to try ice creams at K Rustom. We tried their famed ice cream sandwich. I chose Mango, the flavour of the season and it was just out of the world. Also tried Lichi and chocolate flavors and they were both great. Not much of a place to sit and enjoy your ice cream though. There are just 3 people serving from behind the counters and a couple of plastic chairs to sit, but the flavours more than make up for the lack of ambiance.
K Rustom's is one of the most iconic outlet to enjoy some of the best Ice Creams.

This place is a classic. It is located at a walking distance from Churchgate station. For many years they have been serving Ice Cream Sandwiches. Nothing has changed in all these years. The same quality and standard and the prices are very reasonable. Only some flavours are added from time to time.
Amidst the colonial vintage vibe of Colaba is K. Rustom Ice Cream place. It is a small outlet that serves delicious ice cream sandwiches in a range of flavours. Tried the Strawberry and Black Currant flavours. They were really good. Go for black currant if you have a sweet tooth. The ice cream was made from fresh fruits and was creamy. It had a perfect consistency and taste. The layer of biscuit holding the ice cream was thin and crunchy. The combination tasted good. Strawberry was not excessively sweet but tasted like fresh slush of strawberry.
The place is very near to marine drive and one can carry the ice cream till there and enjoy it with a beautiful view of the Queens Necklace and the sea.
The outlet is a little crowded in evenings with people lining up. The service was decent. There is no ambiance at the outlet. It's a quick service outlet. The staff was friendly but took some time for delivering because of the existing crowd.
Overall it is a must go place for ice cream.

There are cream parlors and there is this place. You could have all the fancy imported brands or local favorites but this place is a class act.
When your sweet tooth beckons you arrive at this place which does not stand out so only way to spot it is to look for folks licking their fingers standing on a side walk. You cannot miss them anytime.
This place does not offer too many variations of its product other than flavors. Their recipe is very simple. A slab of ice cream between two thin wafer biscuits. Thats all, no scoop sizes, no fancy bowls & toppings and in fact they don't even give a spoon to eat their product. Ha :)

have been visiting here since i was a kid. Its one of the oldest ice cream biscuit sandwich seller in south Mumbai. The flavors I have liked are Bitter chocolate, Coco mint crunch, Ginger lemon, Roasted almond crunch and black current. Its value for money as compared to other ice cream sellers.

Have been here so many times when I was in college. It is legendary, serves amazing ice creams and soooooo worth it. Since college is over now me and my friends decided to go to churchgate to meet up old friends and visited Rustom's to re-live the moment. Couldn't get enough with round one as it was too irresistible so went for the second round of ice cream. If you don't try this, you're missing out something good. The price is totally worth the taste and quantity.
Simplicity and consistency is the name of the game here. Nothing fancy, nothing new, just good ice cream served inbetween a wafer. I have tried many flavours, but my favourites are paan and sitafal when in season!

Great ice cream, I had the Sitafal and the Kharbooja ice cream sandwich. The sitafal one was smashing but the kharbooja one was a bit watery, which i can understance since the fruit itself is too watery.
Sitafal icecream was really good and the concept of putting the ice cream in waffers was just amazing . This shop is serving us icecream since ages and is known for its yummy taste .
Also , kiwi icecream was not that much good by taste.
Rarely we come across youth who haven't heard of this so called Legendary ice cream parlour.
It's casual setting, not a fancy touch, crowd handling and such old school stuff makes this place worthwhile.
Not of an icecream guy as such, but I loved my visits here.
Sandwich icecream, like most of them, is my thing here.
I walked the entire nariman point just to find this place. Small place but I had heard so much about it. So many options and nice ones too. Only ice-cream sandwiches here. I tried :
1) BITTER CHOCOLATE ( it won't sit well with everyone)
2) BLACK CURRENT ( was amazing)
3) COFFEE CRUNCH ( as good as it sounds)
4)APRICOT AND NUTS ( the best))
5) MANGO-VANILLA( Unmissable)
Not too far from churchgate station is this place which serves amazing variety of ice-cream between waffles . Their taste and flavours and the idea has been very unique. i would strongly recommend-Walnut crunch , Kesar pista , coconut crunch and papaya
One of the must do while in Marine drive is to visit K Rustoms for their sandwich Ice creams.
They have some interesting new flavours such as Orange marmalade, Banana n walnut and Prunes and are usually served with wafers on both sides.
Prices are usually between Rs 50 to 100, so definitely affordable.
Perfect place for get together with your squad & enjoy some Thanda thanda mahol...Always a crowded place. Only 1 in Mumbai for Icream sandwitch.
They have multiple types of ice cream sandwitch bars & family packs. Fresh fruits ice cream with unique combinations. Much recommend Walnet crunch, Peru Masala, coconut crunch.
Prices are little bit high but if you compared with Taste then it's perfect.
I got there late so most of the flavours i wanted were gone.
They only transact in cash so dont forget to take cold hard cash and plan well before you rech the counter on what to order or the public will expell you from the queue.
Good icecream for the location and place.

Great taste icecreams..joy to savour.. however you have to eat on street and they don’t accept electronic pay when entire India does… becomes a pain manufacturing small change when Indians are getting used to not carrying purses. I wish they remodel the place to make some space inside for people to enjoy the ice creams more.. (there is enough space and currently not used properly)

Nostalgic place
Offers a variety of speciality icecream flavours wrapped in two thin wafer cookies.
The place has been serving for generations and offers many unique flavours like orange marmalade,roasted peanuts, peach, lime & lemon, apricot etc.
Icecream ranges between ₹80-₹100
They also offer Sweet curd. It's okay to skip this one.. as far as I remember earier quality of sweet curd was excellent, recently when I tried it didn't taste fresh nor the texture was right.

First timer and blown away by the flavours. Try Mango Delight and bitter choclate. Seriously yummy and delicious. Pls carry cash here and the speed of serving is amazing. Vintage joint with amazing taste.
All flavours are good. I'd recommend to try their walnut icecream sandwich. The only drawback is they don't accept online payment.
One of the best highlights from my Mumbai trip was having ice cream sandwich from this iconic place. Tried walnut crunch & it was soo good!

It's a big shop of various flavours 🎨of ice cream 🍨slabs. Whn we order, they place waffers🍪 on both sides of the icecream & give it to us like a sandwich 🥪😋 They are yummy 🤤 & don't melt easily 😋

Few Days Back I have visited This legendary ice cream shop located in Churchgate near Marine Lines. This iranian ice Cream Shop is almost 70 years old. K. Rustoms & Co. holds the prestigious title of being the oldest ice cream parlour in Mumbai. With a rich history spanning several decades, K Rustom has earned a reputation for serving signature ice cream sandwiches that have stood the test of time.
I have tried there Ruspberry flavour & Guava(Peru) flavour Ice Cream Sandwich.
This icecream parlour is quite a synonym among the Mumbaikars for their fresh and creamy icecreams served between crispy wafers. The place is always super crowded and they only accept the cash. They have a variety of flavors but might not be available all the time. We tried kesar pista and chocolate nut flavor and quite enjoyed it. More than the taste, it was the vibes and experience which was worth it.
Very good in taste. When I went there, there was a limited icecream that was available though I ordered lichi flavour one and one mango both were delicious.. so much crowd. The rate is affordable. Overall 4 stars from my end.
Amazing place for sandwich ice-creams. Although they have a long list of flavours, quite often not all are available. Super popular till late night, crowded and you have to be patient but live the run and raisin, the coconut crunch, the roasted Almond flavours. Priced reasonably but not an organised shop.
The moment I went to historic ice parlour a sense of nostalgia hit me hard! I’m a old school guy and I just loved the spirit of this place. I could see the 90’s era while ordering here. Coming to the taste the ice cream was very good and the waffer in which the give you the ice like a sandwich was just yummmmm. Like there’s a option for you to eat the ice cream in a cup also but I would anytime recommend the waffer cuz the quality was so good of it. There’s a lot of rush here especially around 5-6pm and even though the counter is small you get your ice cream very soon;) and yes please please note this place is CASH ONLY! So go with some cash which you won’t need much cuz the priciest ice cream I had was king mango priced 100, vanilla priced 50 and butterscotch priced 80!
Old style shop which strictly deals cash as a mode of payment. This place has a good potential to give good services. One has to stand outside and enjoy the ice cream which is a must try for all.
They have some food flavours which are very famous and high on demand. Probably by late night they are completely sold out.
