One of the Best dish to try here is Chole Samosa. The combination of Chole n Samosa is well complementing each other with the chutney n some sliced onions. U can also try Dal pakwan but it is available in morning. They also serve South Indian Snacks like varieties of dosa, idli, medu wada. There are Maharashtrian snacks available and also there are sweets available on the menu.
This place is one if the best one around sion... Most of the people are college students hete..it has best south indian foods and mithai... We had bulk of orders here with group of friends...some of them included paneer items and some south indian dishes... Was a good experience being here...
Just in love with everything that this place has to offer.
So tempting desserts, chenna samosas.
It's official the best place on this planet to just hogš„ŗ
Chat craving fulfilled..
Perfect taste and proper hygiene maintained.
Must haves Pani puri and hot Gulab jamun.

This place is in sion and itās near SIES COLLEGE . They have variety of cuisines like south India and North Indian food . And from street food to fast food . The best and the worth trying dish here is theĀ CholeĀ samosa and chole Puri , they have a really nice and very tangy and tasty variety of chat
Other dishes like chats, sweet dishes, paw bhaji, dosas, also lunch dishes are tasty. Ā Best quick bite place in Sion. Yes, this is the famous Guru Krupa Hotel that you might have heard. I have grown up eating at this place on a regular basis. Everyone knows that their pattice and samosa ragda are must try. Other dishes that are recommended are Cheese Grilled Sandwich, Onion Uthappa, Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji.
The price of samosa since the year 1990 have gone up with the decrease in the size of the samosa. However, this is one place that I completely adore for best taste and worth the money. Though you might find this expensive enough, but the taste ofĀ choleĀ samosa and ragada pattice is surreal to your taste buds. The place is highly crowded during peak hours and the payment counter is usually in rush.
I hade chole puri - The chole was to tempting with proper amount of spiceyness. They give 2 big oil-free puris..belive me it's very absolutely hot n too damm soft texture . Beside that sliced chopped onion & cup of boondi raita was given for good digestion.. They chole puri was nothing else then a proper meal..
About chole samosa- The samous is mind blowing as usal. Specially that green & sweet chutney which is actually very unique and have different taste..
The combination ofĀ choleĀ and samosa is quite interesting. TheĀ CholeĀ samosa were served instantly hot right after removing from the pan. With fantastic chat as well as an outdoor, indoor (non-AC) and indoor (AC) provides a good place to sit and eat thali, sandwich, south indian,Ā choleĀ bhature, etc. The pick of the food here is definitely the chat. Be ready for really long waiting lines on weekdays and on weekends.
To be frank I have liked everything that I have ordered till date. Btw try waking up early someday as Dal Pakwan at this place is amazing but sadly it is available only till 10.30am. Sweets at this place are recommended, they get huge orders for their sweets. Ghevar and Ras Malia are my favorites. They have variety of tasty Barfis.
Service is quick but not that friendly. Manager is friendly though. This place is always packed so you might have to wait if you want to sit and eat. Not much of an ambience place. Cost is reasonable compared to the quality you get.
It is a must recommended place for everyone.

Try Samosa. Simple samosa also awesome. Love it.Yes clean and hygiene food. Maintain proper food quality. No extra oil. Packing was nice. Go early some time have huge line to buy food.
Visited this place some time back located near to sion railway station. It is a takeaway outlet with some tables, busy serving it's customers. This outlet is famous among chat lovers especially famous for its samosa and chole...
In frame - samosa chole, pattice chole and paneer paratha.
1) samosa & pattice chole - (4/5) The taste of the samosa is different from what you get in other places and it's mixture of mashed potatoes, peas and spices. The samosas & pattice are crisp served with chole, onions, green and red chutney. The chole with chutneys are different level enhancing the taste of samosas.
2) paneer paratha - (3.5/5) the parathas are filled with fresh paneer. It is served with a korma which is delicious and which compensates for the bland taste of parathas and also served with boondi raita. perfect complete meal in itself.
Overall rating -4/5
The best thing is the place lives upto the expectations with respect to the taste and quality.
You might have to wait for atleast 5-10 mins but it's worth the wait. A definite try.āØš¤
I have almost tried every dishes at this restaurant and i can say it is affordable as well as tasty and healthy plus hygienic.
Gurukripa is the OG hangout spot for college students in Sion, and rightly so. It's more of a glorified chaat corner, but the vibe is amazing. The chhole samose are famous throughout Mumbai. The club sandwich is underrated af and is amazing. Do visit for a trip down memory lane.
2018 Guru Kripa has served me the best food 2019 served me loads And 2020 parcel. Great superb. I now visit for takeaway. Great greater greatest
In love with their chole samose. Every pocket friendly.
We ordered chole samose, allu puffs and chole pattice.
All the three items were delicious.
This place is just next to my college. I and my friends frequently visit here and try Chole Samosas. Samosas here, are the Bestest. They also have many other types of Samosa. One can surely visit this place for some amazing Chaat Dishes
How i wish I'd taken a picture so that i coud attach here. However i don't feel and need to do so as its my escape from the cosmopolitan food and feel flavours of north and efforts of someone who puts its heart and soul making mouthwatering and delicious food. Thank you for the amazing food.
Yours patron. Forever.
Wish I'd taken a picture but couldn't resist the aroma and as soon as it just vanished making burst of flavours and melting in my mouth like white butter š
Very tasty snacks and chole smosa. Very nicely packed and tasty too.
Chhole Samosa are hands down the best Chaat in the entire Mumbai regionš
This place is very famous in Sion and it is worth the hype. The place is always full with people and you have to wait for at least 5 -10 mins to get the sitting
This place is famous for Chole Bhature, Samosa Chole and their cheese grill sandwich is so huge.
The service is very fast and the sitting is very basic. Place is a must visit if you are going to Sion.
Amazing place with the most polite staff
Gurukripa is renowned for its somasa. In many parts of mumbai you can gets its samosa, from cinemas to local shop, named as A1 samosa. They also have huge menu of other dishes like chole bhature, chaat and sweets. Whatever you eat, you will feel that its less oil then you expect without compromising its taste. Their bhature are finger licking. In dessert try rus malai.
If 'G' is for Great Samosas , then 'G' is Guru Kripa.
Enter the place which is usually crowded outside with all the self service counters & tables. You may choose to stand and eat outside, sit in non-ac section or finally eat in the ac section. If you prefer good and calm ambience , good food presentation then the ac section is what you need. The decor is okaish, service is fast .Items that are a must try here are the Samosas, Pattice,Chole Bature , Dahi Wada,Indrani( Sweet) . This iconic place is where people travel to, just to taste the samosas.
This buzzing crowd includes all , families, college and school students, couples , office staff , etc. Some people do feel let down with the less number of chole(with samosas and pattice) in Chole Gravy served. For others it is a long trip, but for we locals it is a every day fiesta. And no we still are not bored with the same kind of food ...thanks to the variety GK offers. I have never tasted a samosa that can beat this one !! We crave for more.
What are you waiting for ? Come to Sion ...

Located in the central line of Mumbai, Gurukripa is both a dine in and takeaway joint. What's special here? the outstanding amd mouthwatering A1 Samosa. With a pack of spices in their special chutney, you will drool over their Somasa plate.
Pocket friendly, a joint of everyone from the vicinity and far off locations.

They served different types of snack, fastfood and dairy product's like chole tikki, ragda patice, daal pakwan, dahi vada, pav bhaji, idli sambhar, masala dosa, onion dosa, rava dosa, pizza, burger, sandwiches, bhel, paratha and many more other's as per customer demand but all of them one of my favorite dish is samosa chole, people are literally mad over them to crave this super delicious samosa chole, the size of chole is so big compare to others chole even though taste was so yummy with this tangy chutney and samosa with some onion salad.

Guru Kripa is a place which is always crowded and is very very famous for its Samosas.
The Outlet has very less seating outside still people stand and have some of their really delicious and popular items.
What I always have here is the Samosas which are really must, the samosas are served with the tasty Chole and also the sweets like Malai Sandwich, Chum Chum and Indrani which are simply the best.
My favourite outlet when I crave for anything sweet and chatpati.
I visited this place almost after 6 years and I couldn't believe that nothing has changed. They are still the dominant competitor to every new outlets which opens in sion. They dont sell trendy italian pizza or pasta but instead they believe in doing there best at desi foods. My favourite and most famous food here is samosa chhole. Samosa is taken from neighbour samosa giant manufacturer. Price is also impressive. Despite of so much crowd , there are price is still 49Rs .
One of the best places for having Samosas in Mumbai. The taste is great and the service is quite quick. Have enjoyed my meal every time I have gone to this outlet, though I don't personally like the seating facilities outside. It is always filled with people which is a good thing, though the crowd isn't always the best. Rest, everything about the venue is great.

I'm so glad we came across this place. It's not the first time I visited here, but just realized that I didn't review it yet; because honestly, they do deserve an outstanding review. The food is sooooo tasty you'll crave for more. Being a Sindhi, I can say the chhole-tikki and Sindhi curry rice are so authentic and satisfying, just like home made ones. Also tried falooda recently, it is a masterpiece too. Definitely worth your money.
Recently I purchased the famous ghujiya and gheeyar. And it was yummy.
Being a Sindhi this is our go to place for Dal pakwaan.
I love their chaat and falooda!!!
Both are a must !!
Ambience 4/5 bit crowded with less seating arrangement
Food 5/5
Service It's a self service place
Its a ritual every year to get ghevar and gujiya during holi from guru kripa
It is a must have , coz the taste is soooo gud .
The only thing is if u have to wait for the entire year as it is only prepared during holi .

Must try : Ragda samosa and pav bhaji
Guru Kripa Sion, a nice place to walk in without making any hard decisions. Just go and eat. Heavily crowded on evenings and weekends. Chole Samosa, Gulab Jamun, Motichur Laddus are best sellers.
Very popular for their snacks and sweet items. The chole samosas, dal pakwaan, chole and cutlets are the best. Moong dal halwa and Gajar halwa are a must try among the sweets section. The place is always crowded in the evenings, but there are standing tables available outside.
Gurukripa has gained renown for its delectable cuisine, and my experience attests to the high quality they offer. Specifically, I relished the Samosa Chola; however, it's worth noting that the size of the samosas has slightly reduced. Despite this, the overall dining experience remains commendable, characterized by both excellent food and efficient service. On the downside, the establishment lacks proper parking facilities, so it's advisable to consider parking alternatives before bringing your car. Nevertheless, finding parking spaces in the vicinity of the hotel is feasible.
It is one of the recommended eateries from my side. Chole dishes were awesome. Also a lot of variety of sweets. Must visit
Amazing food. Budget friendly and best taste. There's AC and non AC seating available. Variety of lassi flavours. Jain and Sindhi options as well. Tawa paneer roll didn't look like a roll but the taste was great. The sandwich was good. I feel Gks samosa is pretty average but a lot of people do like their chole samosa. And this place is always crowded. The staff is kind and the service is fast.
Very nice samosa. Foodie only buy single plate for an individual for hunger. It's only that worth n good.
Just dropped in while passing by. Place was crowded as always. Ordered Chole samosa and lassi. The chole samosa took a while but was served steaming hot along with sweet and pudina chutney. The taste was really good š
The lassi was chilled, sweet and thick consistency.
Service was good and prompt.
This place is OG when it comes to pav bhaji, chole samosa and chole tiki all three are my favourite. The taste and flavours of all dishes weāve tried so far are exceptionally good. Do do try chola tikki and samosa itās too good and Iām legit salivating as Iām writing this review. Do do visit this place and Iād give it a 9/10 for its food quality.
Chole tikki was great especially with sweet sour chutney. However their chole samosa has gone down a bit in taste and size as compared to few years back.
Its a famous place and my dad likes to bring us here frequently their samosa and tikkis.
Theres no place to sit as its usually full but after some waiting you may get seat in AC room. The rates are just slightly higher in AC.
Great , fabulous, yummy food..... They have good variety of snacks and thalis. Place is crowded during peak evening hrs. There is waiting queue most of the times.
We have visited this place many times and totally worth it.
Chole samosa:- 2 crispy samosas served with chole, tangy chutney and chopped onions. One of the best dish I had for breakfast.
Chole bhature:- fluffy bhature served with medium spicy chole, papad, onion, pickle.
Pav bhaji:- butter loaded pav served with tasty pavbhaji, chopped onion, papad. Must definitely try. Highly recommended.
Visited the Gurukripa outlet at sion which is immensely popular for their chole samosa and tikki chole. You will always find rush throughout the day where people are waiting to taste their signature samosa and chole. They have multiple billing counters so people can buy coupons first from any counter and take their dish from the serving counter accordingly. Samosa and aloo tikki are always fresh and hot as new batches are prepared every few hrs. Tikki are served super hot as they are shallow fried on a large tawa. We ordered tikki chole (a dish that comes with one tikki, one samosa and chole with chutney on top , served with onions) it costs ā¹75/- The chole are very very soft and the main taste of chole comes from chutneys which are spread over it. Samosa is avg in taste, outer layering is somewhat thick but tikki is just yum. Crispy , hot ,tasty tikki with chole chutney tastes awesome. They serve pav bhaji, tawa pulav, chole bhature and many more dishes. Separate sweet counters are there, where you can get varieties of sweets and desserts. One can buy a single piece as well as per/kg in sweets. Lassi is a very running item at the shop where people were seen enjoying mango lassi after having samosas and tikki. Tikki chole is a must try dish.
On April 16, 2023, I had the pleasure of dining at Guru Kripa Vegetarian Restaurant, and it turned out to be quite a culinary journey. We kicked off with Samosa and Pattice Choleāthe samosa, albeit a bit saltier than my preference, was balanced by the fantastic duo of Pattice Chole.
The Dahi Vada proved to be a masterpiece, with flavors dancing harmoniously on the palate. For dessert, there were plenty of options, and even my lower-sugar choice was satisfying. My father and uncle indulged in sweeter options, highlighting the diverse sweetness preferences on the menu.
Pani Puri, my weakness, was executed perfectly. The in-house-made puris were delightfully crispy, and the filling, with tangy tamarind water and minty-spicy flavors, was a match made in heaven. The cold tamarind water provided a refreshing twist, though warm water wouldāve been a nice touch.
The only hiccup was the seating, which can be a bit cozy during peak hours. However, the pricing was reasonable, and the staff was the heart and soul of the placeāhumble, attentive, and creating a warm atmosphere. A bit more space for payments and a streamlined takeaway process would be great.
In conclusion, Guru Kripa Vegetarian Restaurant has great potential. Despite some varied experiences, the warm hospitality and unique flavors make it a haven for foodies. Hereās to happy dining and endless flavor explorations!
