Very nice ambience. Taste of food is awesome. Me n my family loved the food but specially there desserts are too yummy. You can't resist yourself from eating this delicious mouthwatering desserts 😋. This restaurant has awesome decor and staff is also very helpful & polite. We enjoyed our stay.

This restaurant is located in Trident hotel premises at Nariman Point. I had visited the place first time for buffet and there was quite a large variety of dishes to choose from. It was a beautiful dining experience. Food was really good and the hospitality was also heart warming. It's expensive but it's worth it. Service was a little slow perhaps because the restaurant was busy. Will visit again .
Recently we stayed at the Trident Nariman Point and indulged in their Breakfast Buffet.
They have a wide spread of International and Indian dishes!! There are Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs Benedict and Omelettes to order!!!
Their confectionary is also amazing!! I had one of the best Danish!!
Overall Verdict - Absolutely wonderful!! A little bit slow on their service, but the quality of food is great!!!
We stayed in Trident hotel and had access to Frangipani complementary breakfast otherwise its too expensive to be there. Breakfast was very good but buffet spread was bit limited of one compares to Taj Lands End, Bandra. They have good variety in live counters though. Taste wise it was yummy. Loved the pancuisine which they offer spl Pancakes. But service was very poor. Its slow. You have to remind them of your orders again and again. I had to give them a reminder thrice just for a ketchup. Really need to improve their service. Rest it was all good.

It was a nice and quiet buffet lunch at the elite Trident. The spread was good especially the non veg stuff. The dessert bar didn’t seem very appealing though.
I went here with my family for dinner as it was my mom's birthday. We decided to go for buffet but as we started serving we realized there were very less options for vegetarian food and even overall counters. I have been to other high profile hotels too but the buffet comparatively was very average but the staff was courteous to let us switch to a la Carta. Then we ordered kadhai paneer, indian bread, spaghetti pasta, Margherita Pizza and sweet lime and orange juice. After ordering those we felt like worthy of coming all the way. I'll give 5 stars to all the staff for their hospitality. I was very very impressed by the way they treated us. In the end they also gave us a complimentary cake on their behalf which was amazing. Thank you so much for such experience. The restaurant staff made my mom's birthday a hit. Very polite and friendly
Good food specially truffle mushroom soup and asparagus soup. The pizzas are superb specially Primervera and Taverna had very good toppings . The spinach ravioli and mushroom risotto was excellent . The chicken dish and grilled pomfret was good. If you have a good appetite then you can try the buffet though I personally like A la carte . The Tirasmu is one of the best I have had . Must try . Although the staff was very courteous and helpful the service was slow and took lot of time to get dishes
I was here for breakfast and the best thing i felt is the chef who really understood my need and gave me one of the best and fluffiest pancake i ever had. Will surely visit again to try many more things.

It's a very good place for a family dinner. Food is very good. Service is warm and friendly. We had an asparagus soup, It was fantastic. Spinach and ricotta ravioli was very good but it's not for people who don't like the typical 'Spinachy' taste. And pizza here is just brilliant! It'd go back just for the pizza! And to end the meal we had a lemon and thyme sorbet.. again.. it was super.. I would highly recommend the restaurant! Just one thing that I think it's time frangipani lifts up the ambiance a bit.. it's a part of trident.. and should match it's standard.

Nice ambience, and good service is offered by the staff. The vegetarian dinner buffet has limited variety and it definitely does not warrant for such a high price.
Regarding the food taste, ministrone soup with cheese bread was really nice. The bread basket needs to have larger size naans and Punjabi vegetables need more authentic taste.

This was my birthday eve and my friend took me to this place. This place is sea facing with soft music in background. My friend ordered pizza and I went for the buffet. The pizza was delicious. In buffet they didn't had much options but they food was good. Coming to dessert, it was very tasty. And my birthday cake, was the best cake I ever had.
Went on a Saturday night was surprised that the restaurant was not full the reason being it was Karwa chauth. The ambience is awesome. As for the food we were on kito diet so chef Joseph whipped up two dishes one was pomfret grilled with butter sauce and vegetables and a chicken grill with a cheese sauce and vegetables. The kids had margarita cheese pizza, chicken spaghetti, peri peri chicken. The dessert was complimentary from the chef a 70% chocolate mousse with biscuit in it was really owsum. Will definitely recommend this place to all.

Trident (Nariman Point) – Delicious Brekkie Mornings At Frangipani!
This review is a tad late, but this restaurant so deserves a write-up, which is why, though late, I decided to pen it.
I was staying at Trident, Nariman Point-Mumbai, for some much deserved ‘me-time’ and while I strolled around Mumbai for lunch or dinner, breakfast was always the buffet spread at Trident’s Frangipani. Over the week that I stayed there, I tried a wide variety of dishes over breakfast.

We went here for my mum's birthday and we had a great, great time.
We ordered the Minestrone & Green Asparagus Soup, the Avocado Bruschetta, Crisp Potato Roesti, Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli, Kadhai Paneer, Dal Tadka and some Paranthas and Kulchas.
They even gave us a small pastry cake in the end for my mum to cut. We had a great time as a family and will definitely come back!!

The Ambience,staff third service,each and every dish was prepared so well the presentation the rich taste of each of them it was mouthwatering.

It's one of those places that's been 'the place' in town. The decor changes, menu changes, but one thing that remains constant is the good service and great food. Skip the buffet, go for the a la carte and a good drink. This place has never disappointed me in the last 12 years.
With the view of Arabian sea and the beautiful ambience replete with fine crockery and soulful music frangipani is an awesome fine dining experience if you are in South Mumbai . We ordered the Primavera pizza which was very well done ..the bread basket was soft and warm but the winner was the dessert the mocha praline mousse ( hazelnut flavour red )which was yummy and melted in the mouth ..do not miss the desserts here ..the baklava which is a flaky turkish dessert with rose petal ice cream was out of the world !

It is a brand in itself. Guys here do almost all the things right. Buffet or ala carte, you always get out regretting the limited size of your stomach. You can not miss the 4 cheese pizza if that's your genre and the Rasmalai is to die for. Adequately priced for a place of its kind, Frangipani never disappoints.
Delicious food. I love to have Pineapple cherry cheese in Frangipani. This is not listed in their Menu but when I spoke about it, the RM made it available for me. Loved it! Must try, Chicken Tikkas.
Visited Frangipani on the occasion of our Parsi New Year. So yes majority of the Buffet spread was dedicated for the Bawas with our famous specialities like patra Ni machhi, kolmi no patio, salli marghi, chicken farcha and a lot more along with a super spread of cheese (got to try buratta something I wanted to), salads, soup a pasta counter where you can make your own pasta from a variety of pastas, sauce and toppings. The dessert spread was impressive with a good variety from cakes, cheesecake, custards, puddings, sugar free options, indian deserts too. For me this was definately the best dessert section out of the few buffets I have had before a nice variety but excellent in taste.
Overall excellent food. Value for money.

PS:- The only problem I had was a lot of dishes in the buffet were cold and not piping hot. The way it is supposed to be.
Monsoon, A scenic view of the Arabian sea and an amazing spread of buffet. Your meal cannot get any better. Frangipani was an amazing experience. Right from the salads, soups to the main course, every dish was perfectly cooked.
Its a combination of great Ambience and amazing spread. Ranging from Italian, Mediterranean, Continental to Indian. They have it all. The staff is prompt and available readily for any service that can be availed other than the buffet.
That also have an amazing dessert spread. I personally loved the Tiramisu and the Red Velvet Cake for which I don't have enough words to explain. I truly loved the ambience and the overall experience of Frangipani. Can't wait to be back soon!

Classy place with a great Arabian ocean back drop right at the tip of Mumbai, Nariman Point. Comfortable layout, seating with courteous staff providing great service. Food options are Italian, Mediterranean and North Indian. Clear fine dining outlet with the Oberoi SOP. Many light options too and love the beverages options they have post a good meal. Also love the buffett breakfast spread. A terrific experience and recall of every visit.

Couldnt have been at a better place, last night to celebrate a very dear friends birthday.
We went in for the buffet. Too much food and good pampering by the kind manager and the Frangipani staff! They all were kind enough to check on us time and again.

Starters like Veg Seek kebab, Hariyali tikka etc were yummy.

Hello ! Was in Trident for a night. Morning I had breakfast in this restaurant and it was one of the best in Mumbai. Service is top class as expectedin 5 star. Variety in breakfast for vast. Tried Pan cakes and htey were too good. Even the cold coffee served was perfect with exact amount of suggar and cofffee. Thumbs Up!

Shekhar (correct it if I have taken wrong name ) housekeeping man inside gents washroom outside Frangipani is quite welcoming and wishes, cleans and assist Everytime you visit washroom. It's a big thing in today's world as nobody is so welcoming and polite.
Mr Nakul, the manager, is the best and ensures everyone has a memorable dining experience.
Two recommendation, they should include pastas and pizzas in buffet although while chatting with one of the supervisors, he informed that they do include one on guest request. Second, they should have more eggless desserts .

Frangipani brings back younger memories of a morning, and on another day, an afternoon, spent bonding with my father. The steaks were great, the pizzas light, and the desserts were lovely. Overall, a quiet and classy ambience.

Amazing ambience and great service, as is expected. However, the food, while quite good, is not quite as amazing; in fact, a number of dishes were actually quite average, which was slightly disappointing, especially considering the price.

One of the best buffet dinner. Ala carte pizzas are also available and are excellent. The mutton biryani is just too good, with the mutton very soft. Overall a very good spread. The only thing that comes to mind is that the starters could be improved somewhat.

I was here on a business trip and had buffet breakfast and lunch for 4-5 days.....about the breakfast I will say I loved the pancakes the pastries and all the bakery items,.....was surprised to see baklawa my favourite Turkish desert in breakfast....chefs made an effort to make it but it was not perfect....the South Indian breakfast like dosa was good....bissi bella bhaat sand idli was ok....poha, omelette, was good too....tea and coffee were not as per my taste or too be honest as per any Indian’s taste......regarding lunch....I loved the paneer dishes....was amazed to see brown rice as not served in buffet.....loved the paneer dishes and starters.....the sweets were great too.......tried their hot selling Primavera pizza and just loved the toppings.....highly recommended.....👏😍😋👍👍😀👌

Well.....I had very high expectations of this place. Was there on Valentines day. Surprisingly only the normal buffet was there n nothing special.
Another bummer is the fact that the pizzas are not part of the buffet which was my misunderstanding!
The 5 types of cheeses were great. But v few accompaniments with it. Cold cuts were not appetizing.
The main courses were below average in taste. Expected it to be far better. Also quite a limited choice. The dishes are also not always labelled so you do not know what you are eating. The fish in a lemon butter, I assume, was splendid.
The desserts take the cake! There is a lavish assortment of cakes n pastries which are good. Tiramisu and the baked gulab jamuns deserve a special mention here.
There are a few chocolates and macroons at the counter. Please help yourself to them. They r yum.
Ice creams were run of the mill.
Unfortunately was tooooo full to even try out a coffee or tea.

Vast spread of Buffet with lovely ambience and courteous staff. Presentation of food is delightful and we enjoyed every bit. Looking forward to visit again

Fantastic food and extremely pleasant ambience, a five star experience for sure, fully recommended to all food lovers. It offers a wide range of Italian and Indian cuisine, the dessert range is also extremely impressive, five stars to this restaurant
Frangipani restaurant in Trident, Nariman point has an excellent buffet dinner. The breads are baked to perfection. The soup is served on the table. We had tomato and roasted bell pepper soup which was delicious. The salads and Mediterranean dips are excellent. Their Makhani dal is very famous. It is very rich but mildly spiced. Dessert options are plenty. We tasted baked Gulab Jamun and Blueberry Panna cotta. Coffee can be made to your liking and served on the table.
The decor is minimal and pleasing and does not interfere with the overall vibe which is very good. The table service is quite slow although we didn't mind too much because it isn't the place for a rushed meal. But the service can certainly be improved.
The buffet is priced at ₹2200 per person + taxes which totals to about 2700 per person.
Great restaurant, amazing variety of Italian food. Amazing ambience and an overall thumbs up to the polite staff. Amazing Experience overall.

Frangipani is a great restaurant. Their food is excellent. As is their ambiance. Their service is also great.
Why the poor rating then one may wonder. That's because of the hostess/maitradee/usher who you meet at the entrance. The simple task of showing you to your (reserved) table is complicated for them. I say this with experience. We had a reservation for dinner & reached on time to see a visibly empty restaurant. We were asked to wait while the ladies in question looked around the empty tables, consulted each other & looked around some more and told us, "actually today we're totally booked!" Err...we made a booking, cuz we know you're likely to be always booked!! Finally, they figured they could spare us a table to honour our booking. It was with reluctance that we were told, "okay, we're releasing the booking, you can sit on this table by the window". Whose booking was being released?! Anyway, just something interesting, when we left an hour later, exactly the same number of tables were empty. It seemed pretty much 40% of the restaurant. That's the reason the restaurant loses points from me.
We ordered the Asparagus Soup upon the recommendation of our server _ it was an amazing recommendation & we were glad we ordered it. Next we tried the Penne Arrabiata. It was great too.
But what deserves special mention is their bread basket. Hands down the best breadsticks. The other breads included regular buns (soft & delish), brown bread bun (hard & chewy), focaccia (delicious) & a hard white bread (goes really well with the soup)
Will I visit the restaurant again - for the food, 100% yes. But for the service (only of the host, not the serving staff), 100% no. I can get the same food elsewhere for a better overall dining experience.

Frangipani is the Trident Hotel's all-day restaurant that serves Mediterranean, Indian and Italian dishes. Located in the lower lobby, the restaurant has a fresh clean contemporary look. It was a hit when it first opened 14 years ago and still manages to attract the audience. breakfast spread was awsum one must try.

The entire time I spent here was an experience in itself. Lovely decor, very courteous staff and perfect food. The taste of the food is nothing extraordinary, as you will get the same taste or even better in other restaurants too, but what stands out above this place is the royal touch & an amazing view from the rooms, the view of the queens necklace is mind blowing, the ambiance and the service they offer which is nothing but flawless. Though frangipani stands out the best as compared to India Jones, although my favourite is Asian, but trying out other cuisines is never a bad idea until & unless you’re ready to spoil the tastebud or maybe you can enjoy that as well.

Food is generally ok...but you need to know what to select from buffet or what exactly to order as some items are disappointing. Service is extremely slow.
What do we expect from a great buffet? The answer is simple i.e. food and service. Both were excellent and must say cant be better. The staff just surprises you with their warm hospitality. Spread is quite vast covering both north and south Indian. Also for health conscious - they provide multiple options like fruits, desi curd and steamed vegetables.
A lovely place for a nice good lunch. We visited frangipani for lunch buffet with my colleagues. The place has not lost its charm since I last visited it many years ago. The buffer was elaborately crafted and had a good mix of mughlai, oriental and continental. The salads were exquisitely awesome and had max of it. The main course was good. The best part was reserved for the last. The Desserts! Ended up having a sinful quantity of every variety- tiramisu, soufflé, Bengali sweets et al. The staff were courteous and impressively attentive. Overall great experience. Would have given a 4 had the Indian breads not been cold (was not even warm). Can surely visit again.

Was an awesome dining experience & has really great decor. Food is delicious & so is the alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. They have an option of ala cart menu & buffet spread to choose as per your desired.
Brought my girl for some tiramisu here and we both loved the buttery creamy taste with a very subtle alcoholic tinge. The ambience was just right (duh coz it's a seven star). Skip your bakery and come here - it's worth it.
Their Italian food is pretty decent but their Baked Brie starter is to die for. If you love cheese this is definitely a must try. The Tiramisu is also really great along with the service being pretty great.

This was my first visit to this restaurant.
Upfront, I was served the bread basket having 4 varieties of bread, amongst which the red was the best. As opposed to my prima facia thought, it was neither sweet nor related to red velvet in any way.
In the main course directly, I tried a Salmon here in their default preparation, and it was very good although the sides primarily having couscous didn't taste nice. Reckon the traditional mashed potatoes would have been a better option.
I also tried another Salmon, this time specifically asking for traditional mashed potatoes at the sides, and it was given the way I would have wanted ( medium-done ) and was very good too.
The preparation time for both was c 25 mins, which is the average time for such dishes. The quantity was between small and medium when juxtaposed with the competitors.
In between, I wanted to try out an item from the buffet, a couple of cheese cuts, and the staff courteously allowed me to do so.
The mocktails were nice too despite not really corresponding to their descriptions. The first one ( orange-coloured ) ( exact name forgotten ) was quite different in taste, and on a bit thicker side. Kinda seemed like fruit juice more than the soda-based mocktail which it was ideally supposed to be. The second one viz Brazilian Virgin Mojito was the same as the normal Virgin Mojito one gets everywhere with medium power soda. I can only reasonably hunch that the prefix 'Brazil' is added to gain an attraction. Both were served within 10 mins, and the quantity was medium when juxtaposed with the competitors.
At the end, I was offered some special dark chocolates, they were delicious and I am thankful to the staff for the same.
The decor when compared to the neighbouring India Jones is not very fancy, there are about 25 tables in the restaurant which also serves the buffet and the area is quite big, and the background setting is medium ( India Jones in comparison has dim lights ). The chairs are of the same type, and at medium-level seating. The beverage menu is either not available or significantly incompletely uploaded on online food/dining sites/apps and necessary amends should be made on those respects. Also, the food menu uploaded on the food/dining app/sites is not updated, so the latest one would be appreciated.
Overall, it was a nice experience, and I will definitely visit again.
Second Visit
I began with the complimentary bread basket consisting of 4 types of bread, just like the previous visit. Coming to the main course directly, I ordered fish&chips on my second visit to this restaurant. As is the norm, it came along with French fries and tartare sauce. Slightly on the bitter side as they always are, and not severely fried ( so weren't too oily, which is appreciated ), and tasted nice. 4 medium-sized pieces so overall the portion was bigger than average. The French Fries were stale though, and upon complaining, a fresh portion was bought but this took quite a while ( ~15 mins ) and I had to give a reminder. The tartare sauce wasn't white and not on the thick side as normally it is ( but very liquidy ), and this was the smallest quantity I had got with a fish and chips dish hitherto. However, upon asking, the staff bought another quantity of the incredibly small tartare sauce.
The mocktail Sangria was fit as per the description, and I could feel the bitterness of the tonic water it consisted of. The drink came with apple cuts and tasted very nice. It was served within 10 mins and had a medium quantity.

Courteous staff and an amazing chef makes you feel very comfortable.
Dessert counter has so many mouth watering options which is must giving a try.

Located at the basement of Trident Nariman Point. Nice ambience, proper fine dine restaurant. Food is good, service is superb. Please go after 6.30Pm as before that they prefer people who are staying at the Hotel.

Frangipani restaurant in Trident, Nariman point has an excellent buffet dinner. The breads are baked to perfection. The soup is served on the table. We had tomato and roasted bell pepper soup which was delicious. The salads and Mediterranean dips are excellent. Their Makhani dal is very famous. It is very rich but mildly spiced. Dessert options are plenty. We tasted baked Gulab Jamun and Blueberry Panna cotta. Coffee can be made to your liking and served on the table. The decor is minimal and pleasing and does not interfere with the overall vibe which is very good. The table service is quite slow although we didn't mind too much because it isn't the place for a rushed meal. But it can be improved. The buffet is priced at ₹2200 per person + taxes which totals to about 2700 per person.
The place is really great to dine. My wife is 8 months pregnant and the way the staff of the restaurant took care of her was something that touched our hearts. They ensured her comfort starting from the entry till we exit. A great professional staff. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is located in Trident hotel premises along with Indiana Jones restaurant in the hotel's basement (lower ground floor). The food was yummy. I admit that the chef in there is superb. I had never ever eaten something so delicious. It's expensive but it's worth it.
Due to the lockdown imposed by the Maharashtra Government the Restaurant is opened only for resident guests. The breakfast is also being served here. I checked in to the hotel and incidentally it coincided with my daughter's birthday. When I checked into the restaurant manager , Mr Shubham he offered to set up a nice table for us for dinner. I am extremely grateful to the staff for making it memorable for us in spite of the challenging times we are going through.
The table was nicely decorated, nothing extravagant but quite classy. The staff not only helped us with our menu selection but was checking on if we need anything quite frequently. My daughter and my spouse were also offered a complimentary drink with the food.
The food of Oberoi never disappoints and this time was not an exception too. The Kebabs and the Salmon left us in a state of trance for quite some time. Overall a fantastic restaurant, with brilliant food which comes alive due to the warm and friendly staff
This hotel food is fantastic and clean. And also they staff very reasonable and tolerance persons. So I feel like this place.

U can ask for table serve and in a meanwhile go through buffet with various dishes from all the different countries cuisine and have it... 3 waiters for 1 table to assist you..... now it's my favourite spot

One of the luxurious fine dine restaurants in Mumbai. Food was good... Ordered chicken tikka pizza and mocktail. Little dissappoint with mocktail... More options for mocktails and cocktails are required.
The buffet here takes one on a culinary journey. I couldn't decide what my favourite dish was. A supreme experience.
