The place has old interior no change from decades
But this must visit for their Bun maska Pav
They serve the best of the best Bun maska pavs
And evn they are pocket friendly
Perfect place to get 70-80 vibes
I absolutely love love love their bread! It's truly a class apart. So fresh, so good. I miss the aroma of freshly baked bread. Can't wait to visit them again!
Wish they'd deliver across the city
Located in the always bustling fort area amidst the 20th century structures, it'll be unfair to judge this parsi bakery for the sprawling ambience. One thing that it should be judged for is, it's stood the test of time and serves delectable bun maska - loaded with butter and soft as ever. A cup of irani tea and bun maska will definitely prove be a peacemaker for your busy day.
Different Breads along with the Mawa Cake also are a must try once !
Yazdani bakery 6 decades old bakery serving one of the best breads , buns and bruns. Have been here quite few times or can say when ever I pass by i dont leave a chance for quick snacking bun maska what makes them different is big raisins actually after trying bun muska here i felt like all my life what bun maska i had were not upto the mark. Even there multigrain breads are worth trying.
Yazdani has history written all over it.
Ambience okaish but service excellent.
This parsi joint is well known for its bun pav and maska which we regulary parcel becos there is no tea.
The biscuits and breads r too die for.
At yazdani the bun maska gets you bun-dle of joy.
Unkempt and not terribly hygienic, this place has to be visited more for its history than anything else. That said, it serves excellent bun maska (soft bread generously loaded with butter) and khari. Some of the items in the menu are missing and the shop timings are eccentric - we landed at 9.30 am and the shop was closed though it is supposed to open at 7 am. It opens whenever the owner wants to open. Very old world charm.
No tea available these days.
By far my favourite place for bun maska and chai. Have to try their apple pie. The berries in the bun are to die for. Their massive loaves of bread are amazing.
The place makes you feel a part of the time since the shop has started. The bun maska and the Chai is a must try. Other than this there are many savouries present there. This place should be experienced once.
This establishment is a must visit as part of a Fort area exploration trip. A humble bakery known for its Bun / Brun Maska paired with the Irani Chai as well as other bakery items such as Puffs, cakes and biscuits.Quite interesting to have a look around the place and get to know about the history of this place.
The owner is always keeping track of people looking for a seat and ensures that the servers are tending to the orders quickly.
I had tried out the Brun Maska and Irani Chai and had loved the crisp bread with the melting butter inside it.
Had bun muska, tea, egg puff and mawa cake here for breakfast. Awesome food with awesome heritage ambience. Bit on the pricier side. Perfect breakfast.
The bun maska is to die for. Though the amount of maska on the their superbly soft sweetish bun with raisins might kill you if you eat everyday. Guess it will be a great way to die.
Wanna have some old nostalgic vibes u really need to visit this place. This place has its own vibe which can be defined on its own, with the quality of bread and meal served. Really a polite person at the cash counter sitting & equally his workers team Even they have Apple Pie served but unfortunately I did not get any at my slot of time. Still a must visit place.
I bought their breads even U readers must try their brown Bread, white bread , biscuits & toast having a really great quality. Lil expensive but quality is what they serve.
To be noted they only accept cash no online or card payment.
Yazdani takes to an era of when Mumbai was Bombay and traffic was scarce. Located in the bylanes of Fort, this typical Parsi Cafe has kept the old school look. A 50 year old legacy, still going strong.
We ditched Starbucks to first go here for some chai and brun maska. A small hole in the wall is what makes this cafe. You will get the whiff of bread as you get closer to the place. And your nose will guide you inside.
As we were here for our morning chai fix, we were quickly served our fare and we binged. The brun, loaded with butter, dipped in the chai and one bite makes all wrongs, right.
The bawaji sitting on the counter was fixing his retro type writer. I had not seen one of those in ages. He even indulged in a conversation with us over motorcycles and scars on my leg from engine and exhaust burns.
All in all, a pepped up start to our rainy Sunday outing. If you're in the area, do visit.
Yazdani bakery is located at fort area. I heard that this legendary parsi bakery was established in late 1950. When you enter you can feel the old vibe of this legendary place. We ordered bun maska, Irani chai and bread pudding. Bun maska and Irani chai was good but bread pudding was too sweet for my palate. Overall I will food was average but you can visit for that vibe of legendary old parsi bakery.
Adding my review here won't make much sense because the place does not really need any review per se. Located in a 20th century building, amidst the chaos of Mumbai life, you can find your peace here with a cup of garam chai served with even fresh Bun and Maska. The meal melts away in your mouth and the ambience provides a much needed relief from the usual life. Do go here if you wanna build on a truly unique experience.
Fort, Mumbai the jungle of Heritage structures with old yet prominent food outlets, one such outlet being the Yazdani Bakery in Fort, during my internship period caught a first glimpse of it and since then wanted to feel the atmosphere of the classic bakery, however chance to sit and have a cup of hot tea with broon bread could accomplished now. You must try this fresh crunchy broon bread with nice layer of butter dipped in tea just delicious made my day. Here all bread items are oven fresh and top of it are all value for money.
About us: Yazdani bakery is parsi restaurant where you typically get snacks kind of food and this bakery has freshly made breads and puffs
Ambience: It's a old place with old furniture but it has its own charm which cannot be denied.
I had no problem with the same but yes it's a little dark in their.
Food: I had gone here to have snacks so I ordered mava puff and tea.
1) Mava puff: This was perfect, it was not very sweet and it complimented very well with tea.😑⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
2) Tea: This was okay, I felt the was not strong, but I would this is very subjective ⭐⭐⭐
Worth: The taste is good for the price
Overall: This place for light snacks is very good and have heard their bread is also very good.
YAZDANI is one of my personal favorite Irani Cafes in Mumbai. Located in the Fort Area and crowded almost all the time.
It's a small place, with 3-4 tables. One can feel the Original Parsi Smell and Taste at this place between the busy streets of fort. The place is always smelling of Freshly bakes breads which is a delight.
The Bun Maska, Chai, Patties, Mava Cake are one of the best things to try. They also sell various kinds of breads.
Don't Miss out on this Iconic Parsi Bakery when in Fort Area.

I believe a lot of people expect full blown Parsi menu to be served here and get bummed later. Yazdani I believe has only a few things up for grabs. This place was introduced to me by a friend of mine and I'm glad she did.I'll keep this review short and simple to stay true to it. Liked the brun and the chai over here. Absolutely LOVED the smell of breads being baked here!
I left early morning for my work and was quite hungry so decided to have some breakfast at this bakery.
I had garma garam chai with their maska bun the combination was the best. Do give it a try.
A vintage of taste buds among the heritage of structures thats what fort is. Busy lane of offc ppl and this small yet huge Irani bakery holding their traditions and taste along with it. Chai bun maska and bread pudding is amazing.
Pudding is awesome...I daily pass by this place for work..and the smell of its freshly baked breads and buns is very pleasant.. pudding is a must try... won't recommend for eat in..prefer to take away.
Had a couple of mava cakes. The place was fully empty when I went at around 10.45am. the man told me to come at 9 for fresh servings. I couldn't quite enjoy the servings because of the bickering owners at the counter. But the cake was decent. Would come back owing to its legacy at 9am someday
A Parsi eatery in fort with a famous name since many decades and the best place to have breakfast with pocket friendly prices. They serve all the kinds of bread n pav alongside Irani tea. The ambiance is old furnished and ancient blocks of seating with ethnic look and frames of pictures all over the bakery. Maska bun and tea is worth try and apple pie is delicious served over here. A very prompt service.
A landmark Parsi bakery with tables to eat the fresh baked goodies... ambience is rustic and takes u back in time...must visit place for a lesson in history....
Pretty nice and humble place...would like to visit there again.
Had the authentic Irani touch to the food...perfect example of don't judge a book by it's cover!
An old vintage place to have breakfast. Various breads along with tea is a tradition to eat. The surrounding is totally old with lots of old photos, lots of breads all over and old fashioned fan. No card payment, only in cash.
Food:
#BrunMask: A bread with crunchy outside and soft inside with a lots of butter
#IraniTea
#SweetBerryBiscuit: Normal bakery biscuit with a different sweet taste.
Went around the time when the restaurant was about to close. Had the most amazing bun maska and tea over here. The regular round bun was over, so they served elongated bun with maska and Boy! Was it delicious! Would love to try their other menu as well.
A very old bakery joint in Fort.
Very basic and simple ambience is what you can expect. But when it comes to food they serve the best.
Reached very late just 15 minutes prior to their official closing time.
Could manage to get the very famous Bun Maska and Mava Cake.
Food 4.5 out of 5.0
Packing 3.5 out of 5.0
Service 4.0 out of 5.0
Finally bit into legendary Apple Pie at 1950's Yazdani Bakery! The perfectly crisp golden crust... Gooey apple mash rich with warmth of cinnamon... Cutting through it all da dark bit sour raisins... And washing it all down with cup of not too sweet chai!!! To complete the experience got whiff of that Irani temper for not carrying exact Rs.95 for da bill and coin of five slammed on table as ma tendered change!
Iconic in true sense. The demand for their products is so high everything gets over by 6 clock in the evening.
I tried their Mawa Cake,Apple pie and Bun Maska with Chai. They were all good.
As you enter their restaurant you ll feel you have entered a time machine which has taken you 50 - 60 years in the past.
Special mention to the helpful and polite staff for their prompt service who advised me to tender exact change to their arrogant Owner.
I am in Love with Yazdani.
The bun maska is outstanding, soft sweetish bun with black raisins and loaded with butter. The place could do with a bit of regular maintenance. Like their oat biscuits also.

This place is a legend and no need of any introduction. It's best for having Irani chai and muska bun. You can freshly baked breads here . So must go for a breakfast at least once
Very unique place in streets of Fort seems old place with authenticate old setup and best bakery products. Tried bun chai and khari biscuit. All are best.
Must try place
Old school kinda experience here! Everything displayed here even tables are very old and authentic. It feels like going back to 90's coming here. It's very warm inside as the baking takes place their itself. Things I had here:- Veg Puff, Bun maska, Tea, Carrot cake, Apple pie. All were excellent in taste.
One of the oldest places in Mumbai to eat bun maskas and a lot!
So on a lazy Sunday we decided to visit this place about what I had heard a lot. I was walking down the fort street and I really expected it to be a very fancy old cafe which would have been renovated. But surprisingly it was not at all like that. It was a really old cafe with pictures of 90s, old tables and old staff as well. So they have kept the feel of this old bakery still intact.
So we ordered bun maska and we couldn’t stop at one with obviously Irani chai. It was one of the most authentic bun maskas I ever had.
Loved this place, the ambiance is quite vintage.
The bun maska and brun maska with irani chai is classic combination. If you are at fort, you must surely visit this place.
A really old and authentic Irani places. Brun Maska with Chai and Apple Pie are delicious. Reminds you of the good old days. A must visit if you are in or around Fort area for quick relaxation and rejuvenation.
Best for bun/brun maska. Decent chai (too sweet imo), good khari and apple pie. If you are in fort, you shouldn't miss this place. Closed on Sundays.
I didn’t go there with loads of expectations but just with a thought of having a great Bun Maska although the thing that I loved was the experience of being there & witnessing that the time stopped at the Yazdani bakery a long way back.
Went there on a Sunday afternoon. Laid back with almost nothing available on the menu except Chai, Brun Maska, khari and loaves of bread. But... what the place spoke of is, HISTORY. It’s where colonial Bombay had its bread from. Time has beaten it down but, the thickness of Maska (Butter) inside the Brun... spoke of a hospitality that existed in the ages of trams and tongas.
Don’t visit this place if you are looking for food. This is a left over of the era gone by... if you visit it, visit it for what it was once upon a time
This is one of the oldest Iranian cafes of South Mumbai and there is a huge rush for freshly baked Apple Pie and Iranian Chai here. We tried both the things and they were must try both in taste and homely feel! Plus, it's really cheap and staffs here are always welcoming :) So, yes it's a must visit!
This more like Parsi chai ki tapri feel with ther rich flavours of Irani chai!! oldest parsi chai joint which fulfill your breakfast hunger with very much pocket friendly price!!I think this places r already declared as heritage buildings by government n so we still feel richness n smell of tht old style restaurants n I hope we continue to feel that in future too!
This place fascinates you even more when you saw very old photos of first owner in his body building positions in those old frames!!! Sometimes he s always ther ..but now don't know where he s..
My personal favourite s Irani chai, khari, apple pie n ginger biscuits!!!! even the carrot cake n mawa cake s good too!
Only thing I wish about this place s 'please don't shut down places like this as its actually feels in Mumbai more here!!
Best place to have chai with bun or brun masks. Also a delight to take the hot ladi pavhome in the evening. The place is quite hot as it using a traditional bakery but worth the sweat.
Authentic parsi food.
Tasty fresh tum apple pie... Just the right amount of sweetness... Thats is my fav dish... Khari puff mava cake... Irani chai... Quaint place...
One of the oldest Irani cafe and bakery in south Bombay!
Located in very much prime and busy area of Mumbai, is this bakery.
A must visit place for their bakery items.
We tried Irani chai, Bun and roll maska, Khari, Mawa cake and Apple pie. Bun maska was delicious. Mawa cake was yummy. They have other bakery items also. Various types of breads and pizza base is also available.
If you are expecting decent ambiance and friendly staff, you will be disappointed. It's a very old traditional place and they have kept it as it is. Six tables are available for sitting. Just enjoy the yummy taste of their food ignoring the ambiance.

One of the BEST and oldest bakeries in Mumbai.
Their Bread Pudding, Apple Pie and mawa cakes is a must have.
Drown it all down with their specially prepared parsi/irani chai.
You can try the bun maska or brun maska for tea.
Ambience is simple and casual.
Waiters are always smiling and service is fast since most of the items are already prepared and ready but still very fresh.
When someone says Irani Chai & Brun maska this place pops into my mind.. having office nearby to this bakery was a blessing.. Its no nonsense place with no ambience at all.. Service is quick but not that pleasant (if you are expecting ever smiling waiters). Ignore everything & just concentrate on gluttony pleasures they offer.. Brun Maska with typical irani Chai, Carrot Cake, Mawa Cake, Khari & Apple Pie are my absolute favourite here.. A must visit as this is one of the oldest bakery in South Mumbai..
Bun maska is synonymous for yazdani bakery...
This irani bakery offers worth a try for bun maska and chai.
Their bun maska is very delighting and tasty also must try are their cakes.
They also have freshly made crispy kharis.
Yazdani cafe is a must try place for nothing but bun maska
This is the best place to have a chai and bun maska in Mumbai ! No other place served better chai and bun maska like this ! It has different varieties of bun and the old uncle is very cool !
Travelling more than 30 Kms to have Sunday breakfast in Yazdani is worth every single penny and amount of energy. The brun maska and Irani chai is just the thing you want to have in the morning. The surface of the brun is crispy and inside is soft and the butter gives a different dimension of taste. And the Irani chai is the best thing you can ask for with it. I haven't been able to visit it in other days but heard that Saturday morning's egg puff is just awesome. And the best thing about the place is that it didn't renovate itself to make another Starbucks.
I heard a lot about this place from my friends. Unfortunately I visited this place on Sunday. They have nothing but Bun maska and Chai.
But Bun was really really best and Chai too. Sweeter but best.
Don't want to talk about ambience. It's a bakery that serves tea. So the all walls have burn marks. Hygiene is just a secondary thing over here.
But do try this place it's more cleaner than the roadside chai vala's and for best Bun maska and Chai.
Most importantly don't visit this place on Sunday. Happy Eating....
Fort, for those who are not aware, is full of heritage sites, historically significant buildings and the hustle of a very crowded area.
Yazdani is seated in a comfy corner of a crowded street in Fort just off horniman circle. This place is legendary, has many mentions in the press and has a reputation for being in the style of the old.
For the hungry office-goer this is the ideal place for a quick bite. I go quite often since my office is a minutes walk from here so these are my sincere recommendations:
- Khari at 11:30am or 4:30pm this is when it is freshly baked and you will enjoy it most
- Oat and Raisin cookies, they dont make many and they're not famous - but if you're a chocolate cookie fan and wouldn't normally try these (like me) i suggest you step out of your comfort zone today
- Bun Maska, again early in the morning is best
- Chai if you like it sweet, I personally don't but I dabble in the tea here evrery so often
This is a price point of 200 bucks for two people. Don't expect world class service or ambience, but it's just like home for me. I love the quaint shabbiness
My first Bun Maska was at Yazdani Bakery. And I definitely couldn’t have picked a better place for it!
10am on a Sunday, I was walking around Fort, looking for a place many described as old and legendary. And when I finally stopped in front of it, i realized Old was a perfect description of the place! I loved it before I even stepped in, having a soft corner for historical and ancient cafes and bakeries. It was time to find out if it lived to the legendary status.
It did. I sat on a table and ordered a Bun Maska and Chai to a man in somewhat shabby clothes. While I waited, I was being intoxicated by the smell of fresh bread in the air, and an ambiance from an era gone by. Adding to the scenery was an elderly Parsi gentleman giving orders from behind the counter. I’ve never seen a place in such a long time with so much character, it was almost straight out of a novel!
The Bun Maska was delicious, the bun being freshly baked. I had a ginger biscuit as well, despite not liking it before. These three cost 60 bucks, and left me full and satisfied. I must definitely visit again for the veggie puffs and more Bun Maska and Chai!
I sincerely hope Yazdani Bakery lives on. It gives me so much hope and such a sense of comfort that around a fast growing neighborhood, a place like this has quietly existed with all its eccentricities and charms.
Awesome smell of freshly baked bakery products. Delicious bun maska and had superb tea. Shrewsbury cookies .... Yummy. I would love to visit here again and again
Exceptional Muska Pao with Tea! Apt for the stomach & rainy season. It’s a heritage, both by place & food. Must Eat & Experience. They have a photograph of a propeller aircraft that has ‘Yazdani’ on the tail. Do check out other collections of photos on the wall too!

We were just roaming around and found this place and we're unaware of how famous this place is, we just tried what was on top of menu - bun maska... And guess what? it was their speciality's and it was fantastic
The moment you step in this bakery you will be taken back to late 1950's exactly the time when the bakery came into existence.. A must visit place in mumbai.. they provide a variety of bakery items and not to forget to try their apple pie which they keep in evening around 3pm-4pm and other items like brun maska carrot cake mawa cake shrewberry /coconut biscuits chai and many more items... do give it all a try.. it wont be heavy on your pockets as well..
What new could you possibly write about a legendary place? That hasn't been mentioned already?
I'm a complete breakfast lover, and nothing beats the classic cup of Irani chai along with a plate of the butter laden Brun Maska. Catch your breath here, after a nice morning walk through Fort or Colaba, and spend some time staring at old yellowed photographs hanging from walls as you sip through your chai. It couldn't get better than this.
Any passerby who crosses this street and comes over to this place, eventually come to know about some bakery cooking products just by the smell.
Located near Kala ghoda from so many years, the place has amazing bakery products.
The bun cakes, mava cakes are real treat.
The irani chai is must to do thing.
While exploring the area around workplace, me and my colleagues came across this very old Irani bakery. The smell of freshly baked bread made me go inside. As we went inside, I was immediately smitten by the old-world charm.
We had ordered egg puffs, bun maska, tea and carrot cake. Egg puffs were not bad...If they were warm, they could've tasted better. The bun maska was very soft and fresh. The tea was also good. The carrot cake also tasted delicious and was fresh and well baked.
The staff was pretty friendly.
This bakery has immediately become one of my favorites and I would regularly come here for some peace and maybe interact with the amazing Parsi people.
Yazdani Bakery need no introduction. Yazdani's bun maska, brun maska, kharis, apple pie and irani chai are the most famous sirens who tempt every passerby in the lane. It's not just a bakery, it's an institution. Yazdani has patrons right from simple labourers to suave lawyers, yet every one is treated equally in this temple of baked products. I have personally seen the owners from three generations manning the counter! Hats off to them for maintaining this wonderful part of history of Bombay for us!
Akuri 4.5/5
Aam ras 4/5

Irani chai 3/5
Keema pav 3.5/5
Mava cake 3.5/5

Overall a good experience and friendly staff
A typical Irani look. Famous for Shrewsbury cookie. Famous for Bun maska and special chai . Mava puff is something one must try at this place. P.s do not forget to glance at the frames on the wall.
Authentic Irani chai and brun maska is a must try. Rest bakery products are really good and worth trying atleast once. Please make a note of timing before visiting this place as brun maska is served only after 08:30 am and opening hours vary during weekend.
One of the oldest Irani cafe in Mumbai and it's famous for bun maska, Brun maska and Irani chai. The place is not big hence it is little crowded in the evening. I specially like Brun maska. Must try once.
Perfect start to the day with crispy Brun Maska and special chai. Lots of butter increases the flavor of this Irani Cafe. Also apple pie is delicious but it is available in the late afternoon only.
classical Iranian Tea and Buns place. no nonsense style! quick service. the butter servings on the bruns are very lavish - enough to keep you loaded for a long day :). the khari biscuits are so yum, that always buy a packet and end up opening it while still in the outlet.
I was out for an urgent visit to fort and eagerly looking for an outlet for lunch. But, did not find any thing till 4 in the evening. All of sudden i just read a board saying fresh apple pie available.
An old irani cafe, which has great tea and fresh buns. I skipped my lunch and had fresh bun with tea and first class apple pie.
I m not sure about hygiene as the interior and cleanliness around is low
But I would say it's really a good experience for tea time snacks
I'm a Dombivlikar. So travelling to Yazdani is not easy for me.But still I made it and it literally made my day. This bakery has 1940-50s feel to it . Everything I bought was fresh and piping hot. I ate bun maska and chai first. Finest cup of tea I have had in a year. Bun was so fresh because it still had that crunch. We also ate plum cake and mawa cake which tasted like heaven. Unfortunately I was not able to get my hands on Apple pie and carrot cake, so for that I'm definitely visiting it again
One of iconic #IraniCafes of mumbai. Old school ambience, classic parsi setup.
Tucked in a nearby lane of fort area, this bakery serves delicious bun maska, Brun maska, carrot cake.
Tried there bun maska and chai. Bun maska was loaded with generous amount of butter. tea was good
Yazdani Bakery & Restaurant
It is one of the oldest Irani cafes in mumbai
This place was on my list for a very long time as I love Irani restaurants and finally visited it
let us see what I tried:
Bun-Maska with Irani chai gives d feel of old timers in Bombay bylanes. Coconut cookies and Khari biscuits still baked in firewood ovens can't get any better than here.
The walls of the bakery are well decorated
Simple sitting with 4 tables. Run by Parsi family. Wood fire oven. Everything is nostalgic.
Old Is Definitely Gold..🙏🏻
My first time here and it definitely refreshed childhood memories with cup of tea and bread and home like bread pudding. The structure and ambience and olden structure has its own beauty that’s untouched.
The bun maska at Yazdani is out of this world, the place has retained its old world charm and it was well worth it.
Also the owner was an absolute gent and was kind enough to offer me a fortune cookie. Cheers
The best bun maska you could ever have in Mumbai!! And it's such a historic place too, must visit!!
The restaurant bit in the title is slightly misleading, as there is no hot (or cold) food served on the premises - currently at least. This tucked-away heritage property has been undergoing renovations since some time, but that does not make it less appealing to the neighbourhood office-goers. The glass cases are filled with puff pastry biscuits (khara) and other baked goods.
I was allowed to take as many photos as I wanted, the manager proudly informing me that customers may partake of bun-maska to their heart's content on the steps. Apparently, there is no connection with a bakery of the same name in Girgaon.
When I visited at lunchtime, I could only longingly look at the fat raisin buns, so will have to return for breakfast or at tea time some other day. The Shrewsbury biscuits, waiting to be eaten, look fresh and crunchy.
The small Mawa cakes are to die for..Even the olive bread was good .. It's a small and very old parsian bakery ..
Note : Don't forget to take cash with you as they accept only cash..
Amazing bakery, one of their bakers even learned from Munich’s oldest bakery Hofpfisterei and they are the only Fortune Cookie manufacturer in all of India!
This place will take you back in time… aroma of fresh baked buns, breads is perfect start to your morning. You do not want to run out of best of their products… so go there early morning.
Mon-Sat: 7am-7pm
Sun: 7am-11pm
Best BUN MASKA in town.
nb: they've stopped the restaurant and the dining, only take away.
This bakery is located 1 km from the churchgate station. I have tried the bun maska which was very tasty. The shop appears like a vintage shop. The menu of the shop is very limited and only take away orders were accepted. They serve a variety of bread and toast. The baking style is very unique.
This spot is fantastic! The Mawa Cake and Bun Maska are divine! Stumbled upon it through an Instagram reel, and I must say, it could be a hidden gem in Mumbai. Hoping for a rejuvenation and a bit of renovation; this place deserves to thrive once more. Absolutely loved the experience!
The old school vibes are the highlights of this place. They have various bakery items on the display, and of good quality. The place has a charm but it would have been great if it was kept well. They accept cash only, so have some good amount of cash, as you would think to buy one thing and end up buying more.
The dining area is no longer functional. Sad to see it's not maintained. The shop still has its historical charm and you can try their bakery items at the counter.
Came for bun-maska, ended up with Mawa cake! Quite a nostalgic place for Old-Bombay and the golden era of bakeries. 70+ years of glorious history right here!
Definitely visit if you're in the Fort area.
Yazdani bakery is an Iranian cafe (Persian style) opened in the early 1950s. The baking style is still old fashioned and you can find boards in German on the inside.
They are popular for Bun Maska, Mawa cake, Apple pie, Carrot cake etc.
This is one of Mumbai's oldest standing eatery's. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.
An iconic restaurant was famous for its bun Maska.
A must try
