One can never go wrong with Elco!
The taste hasnt changed in years! The chaats are worth every penny! Don’t know how you guys maintain this consistency in taste and quality but its amazing!
Pani Puri for me since childhood has only and only been Elco. So has Ragda Pattice andddd Gulab Jamun!
When in Mumbai and you wanna try the best pani puris in town then Elco should be on top of your check list!!! The best pani puri and moreover they are served clean! If you are a hygiene conscious person then you are safe here!
The Prominent Elco’s Panipuri Centre is the most celebrated eating joint for the Hill Road shoppers!! You cannot miss the Sev Puri! I prefer it extra sweet! You can ask them to revamp it as per your taste as well.

Best meal place
Best chaats in the entire world! Absolutely love every dish I eat in this place. The ragda Pattice and lab Bhabhi was extremely amazing! We finished the meal with pani puris, the water of the pani puri is well balanced and it’s the perfect cold!
Went here after many many years and happy to say that the Pani Puri still tastes the same! Loved it! Kids had cheese dosa and us adults had ragda pattice and pav bhaji which were both awesome! Was a fulfilling and nostalgic experience.
Best snacks vegetarian food in townnnn.
Chaat items are their super speciality and if there were ranking they would be no 1. Hands down.
Plus deserts. Amazing Gulab Jamun and outstanding Faloodas.
Being vegans we did not eat now (dairy items) but have eaten a 100 times before.
Highly recommended.
Thankyou:)
Was too crowded, however after eating Panipuri felt it's worth the wait. South Indian dishes not really that good.
The place serves one of the best pani puri, bhel puri and Dahi puri ... is always packed and u can just stand and eat ... the service is really very fast ... parking in the area could be a problem

Fascinating, Fun and Frequent these three words spring to my mind as soon as I recall my visits to Elco, the bustling Fast Food Restaurant located on Hill Road, Bandra. Like me, if you are one of those people who prefer a quiet dining place with impeccable service of the choicest food, then you need to brace yourself for the chaotic entry itself.
Obviously, one cannot and ought not to expect fine dining experience at the most popular Fast Food place in Mumbai. So, I was prepared to see people milling about and waiting. However, I was dumbstruck at the sheer number of people awaiting their turn and name to be called out to go up to the two storeyed restaurant. A bigger number crowded about the footpath hungrily downing the delicious looking paani puris, sipping in the fresh fruit juices, milkshakes and the like even as the staff churned out one delicacy after another at an alarming speed and dexterity. It is a typical India and a Mumbai experience, which any chaat loving patron would want to experience: the Chaat churned out at Elco.
After a 15 minute wait me and my friend finally heaved a sigh of relief at being called up to go into the restaurant, but it was a challenge to wade through the hungry patrons and the busy staff who were constantly on the move. As soon as we hiked up the narrow, winding staircase to the air conditioned first floor restaurant, we heaved a sigh of relief at the prevailing peace and space in the restaurant.
Sifting through the much thumbed menu, we were certain about our favourite: Paani Puri! As we walked up to the first floor I had noticed the "baskets" that were carefully stacked up in the kitchen and we enquired the waiter about their basket chaat. He recommended everything on the menu and agreed that we ought to try the tokri or the basket chaat as well as the famous bhelpuri seasoned with Kachchi Keri. Alongwith this I also asked for a 'cocktail' juice made of Mosambi and Pineapple.
Needless to say, we loved each and every morsel of each of the items we ordered. Paani Puri had the apt filling, flavour and crunchiness and the generously stuffed Basket Chaat was a harmonious blend of sweet, spicy and tangy taste tempred ably by curd. Even the basket was delightful to cut and crunchy to eat despite the curd filling. Having the Bhelpuri here truly made us feel that we were having this ubiquitous dish for the first time ever! It was perfect in its taste, appearance and quantity. The unique cocktail served in a beer mug surely found favour with me. The taste of the Mosambi was more overpowering than that of the pineapple but it was certainly cool and refreshing.
The one area of improvement could be that of service. Considering Elco is bursting at its seams with patrons, the waiters need to be more quick and attentive in their service. They seem to huddle together and ignore the customers and one has to really try hard to get their attention to either place the order or to get the bill.
So, Elco is truly deserving of all the fame as far as its Chaat goes and we look forward to trying out all their dishes on the menu in our subsequent visits. Braving the chaos on the road outside Elco and its noisy thronging patrons is a small price to pay considering the charming chaat they serve!!
I visit this place mostly for their pani puris but apart from that they have other varieties which you can try out too in Street Food, Chinese and South Indian sections.

Mumbai me elco nahi gaye to kya kia... A go to for tasty chaat! Highly recommend pani puri and pav bhaji! 😉
Elco ka Panipuri nai khaya toh Mumbai me kya khaya!! Exactly those words you will listen if still not have Elco's panipuri. Located on prime location, easy to access. I went just to have Panipuri but their mouth watering environment made me to have panipuri, sevpuri and chilly paneer.
It was properly served and they have good seating arrangements so its better to sit and enjoy panipuri.
Hospitality wise they are good and attentive.
It is crowdy still you won't face any issue.
Taste wise all items were very tasty and properly served.
Enjoy!!
I have been to this place so many times now. This is my go to place after my shopping from hill road. This place serves the best fast food you ever crave for. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast. Coming to this place for so long now but never got disappoint when it comes to their taste and quality.
We ordered:-
Pav Bhaji
It was Average but filled our tummies. Pav was soft and the bhaji was sufficient.
Chole bhature
This was great. the chole was delicious.Better than pav bhaji.
Ambience - 4/5
Food - 3/5
Service - 4/5
Cost - 4/5
After shopping at hill road I had child pani puri at Elco veg restaurant, it was very tasty. Per plate cost Rs. 80
Absolutely a go to for amazing tasty chaat! Will highly recommend the pani puri, dahi puri, basket chaat
In frame- pani puri & gulab jamun with ice cream
A bit pricy but worth it
I've been coming to this restaurant ever since I was a child. I went there for dinner last night after a year and I was really glad to know that the food still tastes so damn good.
Had ordered butter idli with sambar and that tasted heavenly and fresh. Ordered a lassi too but wasn't too happy with that. Apart from this, I got no complaints, I am definitely going back really soon.
Loved taste of chole Bhature and Paav Bhaji.
Craving for chaat and on the search of best chaat in town then your search has come to an end
Lovely place near Bandstand. I did not like pav bhaji upto Mumbai expectations. But the dosa did utmost satisfaction . Sitafal shake also needs to be bit revamped.

In Mumbai and not having chaaat is not gonna happen. One of the amazing places to have chaat in Mumbai is at Elcos Bandra. An amazing restaurant offering the crowd of mumbai with a huge selection of fast food delicacies and chaats. Went with the Dahi Puri, good portion with some generous amount of dahi. Absolutely delicious and value for money. Couldn't miss it for the world. .

The bestest Pani puri ever had is at this place, if you are been in bandra for shopping do visit this place for Clean and hygience Pani puri.
A must visit for the chats and pav bhaji! Bloody hell! The falooda is amazing. Rest of the things pretty average. But yes a good place for pani poori Mumbai ishtyle ☝️
A very good taste for pavbhaji can be more spicy, but good taste , good packing perk was it was not that buttery
One of the best place in Mumbai to get authentic Pani Puri. The place is clean (can be a bit more cleaner). Their chaat is just droolworthy. The money is on a higher side. But worth a plate of Chaat after an exhausting shopping spree
