Maharaja bhog as the name suggests the place were you are treated like a maharaja and served the food just like the way maharaja’s been served. They have many branches from which i have visited the oberoi mall, goregoan. I visited with my parents on sunday in the afternoon. The ambiance is quite good, giving a look of a rajmahal but the place and seating area seems little congested, as we have to wait for around 40-45min to get our chance to seat.
They serve Rajasthani and Gujarati Thali which includes different types of vegetables, roti’s, farshan, rice, daal and how can i forget Sweets giving amazing taste of complete Home cooked food. They have fix menu we can’t give different order. The thali served is unlimited. They serve pure veg and jain food.

The maharaja style does make you feel grand. Their appeasements are wayy too adorable and that actually makes you eat more than you can. You can find typical Rajasthani and Gujarati dishes. Rose jalebi and moong dal ka halwa is my fav amongst the sweets.

Sunday evening and I decided to end the day Maharaja style in Maharaja Bhog. Started with kachi Kari drink and end with paan was truly king sized meal. Of all the dish served, we liked the paneer and potato Curry and of course aamras. The waiter we're vigilant and kept on checking for more.
For desert we got jelabis and moong dal halwa, which wasn't too bad. Dhokla was bit try.
Well we still found few area to steal a star away. They charged for my kid how was less than 5 year. We checked the charges before starting, but what they failed to mention was that if a to thali is served, then kids would be charged half rate. When we pointed out this, they did not agree.
For payment, Sodexo meal pass card, credit card and cash is accepted.
Apart from the great food. I loved the welcoming and charming behaviour of dhudharam which made us feel like home. Surely great to visit with family and close friends.

Maharaja Bhog is a nice place to eat in. Good quality of food and unlimited food. But they should keep prices somewhere around 500/ per person. More than that is not for everyone's pocket.

Great food and ambience. Really enjoyed their service from getting your hands washed before and after meal at the seat. The food was very well made with adequate amount of spice and oil.
They serve delicious thali which have cuisines from rajasthan and gujarat. A very good dining experience you will love it but there are so many things to eat and you can't eat all of them as it's become very heavy. A good appetite is required to fully enjoy and recover thali cost. It's okay to go once in 6 months to enjoy the thali meal. Rs 713 + taxes on weekends. For kids the cost is half. The price is a bit on the higher side.
Trick: don't take kids thali if the kid is small.
We previously dined in Juhu outlet and we tried this outlet and found this one better than the other one.
Layout and Ambience wise this place is much better, seating space, lighting and overall service was better than the Juhu one.
Coming to the food, it was too good and definitely taste wise better than the other outlet too. We weren't rushed to eat here. Although service can be improved better, since we had a lot of wait time between items.

You should call and enquire about the menu before you decide to go.
Price per thaali is about Rs. 650 per head during weekdays and goes upto Rs. 1000 during weekends and special holidays - during which it is always more elaborate.
To enjoy thoroughly - you should sit for a good 2 hours simultaneously eating and digesting the big meal!

Visited this place again as first experience was nice but to much disappointment. We went on a weekday. We were prepared for not having much options but they didn't stand up to the mark also. Also, since you came down reading my review, a humble request to you. Take the food on your plate as much as you can finish. Almost all the tables that I saw had too much leftover food. Also a suggestion to the management, I realised the servers insist a lot to the people and serve them even if it's not reqd to the person eating food. In such a case the person ends up leaving food on his/her plate and leaves the restaurant.
My overall review would be, do give it a try hoping you wud get a menu of your choice on the day you are visiting because it's definitely worth trying.
