Banana Leaf - Mumbai - Photo album

Local street food in a nice, small restaurant. I bet it's great so it's crowded during lunch time which means noise is louder than expected. The dessert is famous but difficult to "digest" for foreigners even we have that kind of leaves in Vietnam. Still a good choice for vegetarians.
Aaron's Final Rating is 4 I'd like to be honest here. My friends tricked me into visiting this restaurant. They said you also get nice nonveg food here in South Indian style and I believed it. After I realised it was pure veg, I wanted to throw a tantrum but then thought of giving it a shot. Trust
South indian food at its best!! A paradise for vegetarians with a monstrous selection of healthy and culture-rich south indian food. I recommend getting a few different platters to share so that you can expereince the diverse mix of spices. MUST VISIT!!
The food tasted awesome. The ambiance is also good with good service. I found it a bit expensive as compared to their quantity of food.
Had been to this place for a casual evening lunch. The place has a good ambience with indoor and outdoor seating options. At a very convenient location of Versova and ample of parking spaces as well. A very authentic and homely vibe with cultural structures inside and outside the restaurant to treat
Authentic South Indian flavors that transport you straight to the region. Dishes are well-spiced, aromatic, and served with traditional flair. Don't miss the dosas and coconut chutney – they're a true delight!
Banana leaf is one of the best South Indian restaurants in Mumbai. Everything you order here is lip smacking good. We have tried almost the whole menu and believe me we were never disappointed by even a single item. Their Mango potato tamarind curry is the best of the best. Puliserry with mango and
Banana leaf is anytime trustable brand in authentic South Indian restaurants. Use easy pay to get some discount for the payment. Their rasam is their specialty and filter coffee is just normal. Also dal khichri is tastier like anything. Even they cook good North Indian food. But for South Indian bes
The food here is very nice and will be loved by all south indian food fans. You may hv to wait in weekends to get a table during lunch and dinner hours.
Banana Leaf is one of the most peaceful restaurants that I've ever been to! The restaurant represents South Indian culture very well! It is a pure veg restaurant! The manager here is very friendly and greets you whenever you go there! Overall a very nice experience!
Decent place. Malabar curry is my all time favorite. All South Indian dishes are really good. You can also try mini podi idlis for the starter. Chettinad curry (5/5) and Malabar curry (5/5) with Neer dosa (for traditional style) or paratha (tastes good). We also tried their Kalan Biryani which was m
I came from Thane specially to have Thali at banana leaf. Thali wasn't available though. I had Never dosa and paneer gassi. I'd say Thane outlet's food was better in taste. Versova outlet is good in space.
Onion podi dosa is an absolute stunner. Will go again just for that.
It’s a good family restaurant for authentic South Indian vibe and food. Rasam Vada and pineapple sheera is a must try.
Banana Leaf has been one of our go-tos for delicious high quality South Indian food in the area. The Vegetable Stew with Appam is so wholesome and comforting. The Akhrot halwa is rich and indulgent. The filter coffee ice cream was very refreshing.
