Visited this cool place twice. Always found it to be a vibrant place, good people around, good food, good music. Last time, was there on a weekend during lunch hours. There was this live music, with retro numbers sung by an awesome voice. Also played my favourite number the "Country Roads". The place has never been disappointing. However at peak hours, serving issues are something they should focus on. Serving time is slightly higher. Order replenishment is slow. Having said this, will definitely have it in the revisit list, whenever around South Mumbai. Do try their Quinoa Salad, it's awesome.

Soothing ambience. Descent crowd
Courteous staff.
Mandatory recommendations to place order for;
Crab soup
Butter garlic prawns. It had aroma and the prawns were juicy.
In house- khimchi rice is a good option to go for.
Although the portion size is less it's worth the order!
To sum up the meal end up ordering Sacher (dessert)
Chestnuts dimsum and moneybags dimsum, are 4 peices in each but worth it.
Pulled chicken bun was the best.
Khimchi rice was also nice.
The Dim Sum non veg basket was so yummy.
Only negative point was that the waiter was rushing to serve us saying people are waiting. But will definately come again to this amazing food restaurant.
Great place... great food. Loved the sushi! Courteous staff
If you like Pan Asian cuisine then you must visit this place. Have visited it twice already. The ambience is lovely with a warm vibe to it.
The food is soul food...
Tom kha and SomTam lived up to their reputation. The pulled chicken buns were succulent and full of taste but cannot say the same about the Chicken Satay..have eaten better.
The Miso ramen was really good with an authentic taste with the right broth consistency. But must say their Stardish is the Rendang curry..Have not tasted a better one..it's really good ..slurppš
This restaurant has a really great ambience and vibe to it! The service is slightly slow, However it has some amazing variety of Asian food as well as alot of jain options available! We tried- 1. Chilli sriracha avocado & jalapeno Sushi. 2. Jasmine Rice 3. Classic cottage cheese tossed in pepper chilli sauce. It was slightly bland and didn't have the spice which we thought but it still accompanied the jasmine rice. Overall it was a nice experience!
Descent food we order 3 dishes
Po-chi Du- good juicy dimsums
Know suey- it was good, tasted great. Sufficient for 2 people.
Desert was good- filled with dark chocolate and served with whipped cream
Well, I love the resto's ambience š
As an Indonesian, I guess I came with too much expectation for Chicken Satay:
My expectation: peanut sauce will be brown nutty sauce with sweet taste (you may browse how it looks for proper Sate Ayam Madura and Indonesia).
The reality: peanut curry sauce, too yellowish and taste way too curry skewers
I'm not really satisfied of that. Tho it's good as my husband's courtesy.
Luckily, i also ordered other foods menu; sushi spicy tuna, pork dimsum, and kimchi fried rice
Sushi spicy tuna uramaki, pork dim sum both, really tasty and exquisite. Meanwhile kimchi fried rice is okay.
Love and miss the food! Hope it doesn't shut down during this period ....any update on when it will open?

I have been to this place four times already since it's opened and haven't got bored of the taste yet. With comfortable seating, attentive and quick service, Asian Town is one of the few places in SoBo that serves Oriental cuisine that can be cherished without having any tummy issues the next day as the chef puts just the right amount of spice. Being a vegetarian, I appreciate the variety that this place offers in the dimsums as well starters category. So far, I have eaten 30% of the dishes on the menu under vegetarian category and would like to taste remaining items on the menu. Soon.
Great kick start to 2020. Excellent food, well mannered staff, mesmerising ambience and perfect music. Glad the restaurant served fresh & good quality lobster & crab, both of which were extremely delicious. The best dishes amongst the ones we had were avocado cucumber sushi, black pepper lobster & sacher.
This place exceeded our expectations! Thank you.
The ambience , food , drinks were amazing. One of the best khau suey. Do try their cocktails.
Amazing Asian food here. We ordered sauted vegatables, asparagus and avocado sushi and crystal dimsums for starters . The avocado sushi was mouth watering. The nest sushi Iāve had in Bombay. Even the dim sums were very fresh and tasty. For main course, we ordered vegetable gravy and sticky rice and noodles. All of which were scrumptious. Portion size is great too. We were 6 of us and the bill totalled to 3.5K, so really good value for money for the quality of food we had!
Liked the ambiance and decor was perfect for the festive season. Invited my friend for Xmas lunch over this place. Sliced chicken and snapper was our meal for lunch which we enjoyed but slightly disappointed with the portion v/s price. Over all a good dining experience....
We had a great experience at Asian Town. We had ordered a number of dishes.
Starters:
Cheddar Rolls: These were small spring rolls with a lot of cheese in it and served with a spicy chilli sauce. These are crispy rolls.
Main Course:
Classic Cottage Cheese: These were huge cottage cheese pieces with a great sauce.
Would recommend everyone to have it with fried rice.
Veg Fried Rice: A great dish with a great quantity. It had a number of veggies like carrot, spring onions and many more. It tasted really nice with classic cottage cheese.
Cocktail:
Smoked Asian Jazz: This is one of the finest cocktails at Asian Town. This is a small smokey cocktail with a great taste and was a very light and pleasant drink.
Desert:
Whiskey Pot:
This is the best desert here. It was chocolate mousse with a bit of whiskey flavor in it. It had a great presentation.
All together a great place. Would love to visit again soon š

The place is huge with multiple soft sofas and chairs. The mood lightings and their curated music playlist accents the Asian drama in an absolutely classy manner. What we ordered for lunch -
ā© AT Sichuan Balls -4.5ā-
Super tempting fun balls filled with cottage cheese, chestnut and lotus root. They are flavoured in basil and chilli and tossed in hot sichuan pepper sauce. The flavour blends very well with the sauce.
ā©Cheddar Popiah Rolls-5ā-
These are cheesy and crunchy spring rolls made with soft cheddar and scallion. These scrumptious rolls are served with tangy chilli sauce. They are presented in shot glasses. Highly recommended!!
ā©Sushi Rolls -5ā-
They recommended avocado and cucumber sushi rolls. 4 sushi rolls served with wasabi are served on a flat plate. It surely exceeded our expectation.
ā©Devil's Love -5ā-
This was cocktail with a vodka base and contained red grapes. It was served in coupe glass. The overall flavour bit sweet and sour with a mild alcoholic punch. This refreshing drink complements most appetizers.
ā© Fireball old-Fashioned -5ā-
This was a whiskey based cocktail. It was served in a glass cage filled with cinnamon smoke. It can surprise you unprepared with its strong liquor taste. The chilled drink was served with a cherry and leaves a smoky trail with fruity flavours of orange and cherry. Highly recommended!!
ā© Thai curry -4.5ā-
For mains we were suggested Thai curry and it certainly was a great dish. The hot aromatic green Thai curry was served with steaming hot jasmine rice. It consisted of galangal, asparagus broccoli and exotic condiments. The flavour was a mixed and mildly spicy one. We loved it.
ā© Sapporo Ramen -5ā-
This is a big bowl of white miso ramen. It consisted of noodles and hot broth. The buttery broth was loaded with veggies like bok choy, zucchini and carrot. This was topped with saffron for flavour. The mix of veggies and condiments gives a spicy and flavourful taste.
ā© Chocolate Whiskey Pot -5ā-
Chocolate Whiskey Pot is the perfect way to provide a happy ending to your meal. It is basically Dark Chocolate mousse with a little more consistency blended with whiskey. It is topped with a dollop of soft cream. The presentation with a chocolate wafer stick and chocolate drizzle is really an eye-catcher. The subtle flavour of whiskey compliments chocolate in a delectable manner.

We has some amazing butter garlic Prawns and pad Thai here. This place has become one of my favorite Pan Asian places. We also tried Khow Suey and it was amazing. Would definitely visit this place again.
Asian Town has been one of the best pan Asian places I've visited in a while. Nothing on the menu can ever disappoint you if you're someone who loves Pan Asian.
What we Had:
We started off with some okayish Pulled Chicken Bao and some really amazing Crispy Fried Chicken Wings, again, one of the crispiest wings I've had in a while, also those were really mouthful. We also ordered a Kaffir Lime Blast to quench our Thirst as we ate these appetizers. The Mocktail was smoothly made, and even a favorite as Kaffir Lime is a lovely ingredient.
In the Mains sections, we ate Pad Thai and Khow Suey, which completely blew my mind. Hell I can give 5 stars just for these 2 dishes. One of the best Khow Suey and Pad Thai I've had in a while. The noodles were cooked to literal perfection. We shared the whole bowl between 2 people but it was made so good I could eat the whole thing in one go.
It was a really good experience, and even the staff knew what was on the menu and helped us curate the food we ate. If Pan Asian is your thing, you should definitely try this place.
Personally have never been a big fan of Asian cuisine. But my visit to Asian town in Kalaghoda I am glad I was able to visit.Ā Japanese Origami at the entrance is so beautiful. Love the red theme.
I especially loved the Cheddar Popiah Rolls and AT Sichuan Balls. Quite filling and decent portion size for two. And then Sacher dessert is superb. Dark chocolate mousse is beautifully presented on platter. There were some more dishes ordered like the dimsums and main gravy, but I avoided it. Jasmin fried rice is nice didn't add the Stir Fry Vegetable gravy to it.
Honestly, I wasn't aware of Asian Town till very recently, when a friend of mine suggested me. I was craving for some good Asian / Oriental food and that's when I decided to visit this place. Its been quite some time now that Asian Town has been around more than a year. Located at Kalaghoda in the building next to Punjab Grill, its located on Level 1. The restaurant has valet parking unlike some other restaurants, since there is plenty of car parks available around.Ā
I personally loved the decor of this place at the entrance you can see beautifulĀ Japanese Origami (Paper Art) with some beautiful red lighting. As soon as you enter, you have the bar to the right, beautifully lit, looks very classy. Its quite spacious and one can see quite a lot of sections within the restaurant, private sections included for a private party or accommodateĀ large groups as well. Definitely very well planned.
Now talking aboutĀ the food, we tried here -
We started with AT Sichuan Balls and Cheddar Popiah Roll. For me, the start of my meal couldn't have been better. Both the appetizers are superb, must have and must try here at Asian Town. Mind you, both are fried, so I was kind of heavy post having these two dishes. But completely worth it. Rolls were spring rolls stuffed with cheddar cheese and scallions served in shot glasses with chilli garlic sauce. Loved the sauce, loved the presentation! Superb. AT Sichuan Balls were Cottage Cheese, Chestnut and Lotus Root balls tossed in Sichuan Pepper Hot Sauce. Not very spicy, just right. Dont miss this as well.
Next we tried the Crystal Dimsums which was steamed dumplings of water chestnut, zucchini, carrots, in a crystal dough. I loved these dimsums especially with all these 3 dimsums sauces and would definitely recommend to all those who want some options without mushrooms. Next time around, hopefully I shall try the Gyoza with wild mushrooms. We ordered for couple of mocktails - Basilico and Melon Saga. Of the two, I would recommend go for Basilico - a mix of Basil, Lemon grass and Lychee. Very refreshing and beautifully presented. I really wanted to try the Matcha Hand Shake (Green Tea and Milk / Cream combination) unfortunately it wasnt available when I visited the restaurant. It seems I pretty much have my menu decided the next time I visit Asian Town.
From the mains, we tried the Jasmine Fried Rice and gravy was AT Stir Fry full of veggies. Baby Pakchoy, Chestnuts, Brocolli, Tofu, Lotus Root and Asparagus. I know its a mix of lot of vegetables, somehow I personally felt it was a little too dry with the rice. May be some extra gravy would help. No problem as such with the Stir Fry. Lastly, we called for Sacher to end our meal. A note, that lot of yummy desserts here do have a bit of alcohol content mixed in the chocolate, so those ok with it, are in for treat. Sacher doesn't have it. Sacher is a dark chocolate mousse, on whaet cookie tart served with passion fruit compote. So yummy and delicious. Definitely worth trying! Don't miss.
Based on my above personal review, I am sure you would have realized I had a ball of a time at Asian town. Would definitely recommend all to visit this amazing place and you would love the food, ambiance and service.

Asian Town is a really nice place at Kala Ghoda, Fort. Their ambience is nice and it has an amazing bar. The decor is also calm and aesthetic. The service was good with friendly and polite staff. We tried their Po-chi Du Dim sums which were so tasty, they were served in a plate with a hot and sour sauce already which made it really good. Next we tried their Pulled chicken bun which has 2 large sized Baos in it. The Bao was really soft and sweet which compliments the stuffing which is nice and spicy. We even tried their Char Grilled Hai Yang which is Thai style Chicken Skewers which has a a nice taste of coconut. For mains we had ordered Chicken Saporro Ramen which had ramen noodles served with chicken meat balls and boiled eggs and some vegetables. Next we tried their Non-vegetarian Nasi Goreng which is fried rice tossed in a Wok with some sauce and served with a sunny side up on top. To go with our meal we tried their Always Virgin and Berry Mee both were very refreshing drinks. For desserts we had their Five Spice Cremebrule which is a Cremebrule with a spicy twist.

Asian town is one of the happening places located in Kala Ghoda . It is a hidden gem and serves the best Asian, Japanese, Malaysian, Thai, Chinese, Korean. As soon as you enter the place you will fall in love with ambiance it's so classy and lively. The bar section is so well arranged with beautiful lightnings . Near the bar there are high chairs and sofa seating arrangements as well. The walls are beautifully decorated and has that asian touch to it. Well, I seriously love their playlist. They play really cool songs. The staff has a sound knowledge of all the dishes. They are quiet spontaneous and courteous enough.
Coming to their dishes, we had some of their best ones and loved everything šš
Cocktails : Fire ball old fashioned - A beautifully crafted cocktail. Bourbon whiskey, brown sugar, cherry liq, hickory smoke, 5 spice bitters, thai and orange tincture.
Devils love : Devils love tasted amazing. We loved the texture and presentation. Red grapes infused absolutely, orange tincturr rosemary and lychee.
Starters - Money bags Dumplings
The dumplings were pipping hot and super tempting. Money bag shaped lobster dumplings topped with tobiko served with three different sauces.
Pad Prik King : It is a great combination in terms of starters. Tasted really amazing. We enjoyed every bite of it. Long beans and tender chicken pieces stir fried red paste and fish sauce served with hard boiled egg.
Mains : Snapper
If you want to try something in fish go for it. Slices of Snapper cooked in your choice of sauce. We chose burnt garlic, chill which was amazing.
Desserts :
Chocolate whisky pot is the best way to end your meal. I loved the whisky taste and the presentation was mindboggling. (5/5) for this one and highly recommended
The restaurant has valet parking unlike some other restaurants, since there is plenty of car parks available around.
The Bar Tender made a special Mocktail drink for us which was super luscious. Full of richness of house made peach and apple jam and topped with ginger ale.
