You can never go wrong with the Idli Chutney at Sukh Sagar !!! Masala Pav was good and the Uttapam we ordered was a great size as well :) This is always a happy place to order from
The place serves authentic Indian food, very hygienic and at dirt cheap prices. I would advice people to try Idli. It was just too delicious

Sukh Sagar is one of my favourites when it comes to having a quick snack or satisfying those hunger pangs after a night of clubbing, that’s right, they’re open until 1:30 am! They have some of the most satisfying desi comfort food. From their famous Pav Bhaji to Italian and mouth watering South Indian, they have it all! Its pocket friendly and has a lot of options :)

Most authentic place for the tastiest idli chutney and Pav bhaji In Bombay. Service is fast and price is pretty reasonable. The parking is limited in the front. You don't really want to be here on a Sunday because it's a task to get a table.

after hearing so much of hype about this place , I ordered their best seller Pav Bhaji , The Bhaji was delicious and in good quantity but the main issue was their bread , it feels like its way to small then a regular size, other then that from packaging to delivery everything was top notched !
The pav bhaji of sukh sagar -Chowpatty is just amazing, it's taste is sooooo yummy and it's a perfect pav bhaji as per me with a pinch of buttery taste even the pav was full of butter toasted it's worth eating in sukh sagar and also the Onion Uttapa was tasty with that proper Sambar and chutney served.

have been a regular to this restaurant and love the food out here. However the prices are on the higher side for the noisy ambiance offered. The food taste and quality is good and the seating space is also large. We had jain Pav bhaji ( 5/5), Jain pizza (5/5 with the indian cheese ), Paneer makhanwala (4/5) and Nachos (4/5).
A nice place to visit near girgaon Chowpatty. The place is over crowded on the weekends. A long waiting line. There is chaos in the restaurant on weekends. The taste and quantity is very good. Also some of the dishes were over priced.

They have some famous dishes. Pizza,idli and pav bhaji are the most popular dishes of this place. You should try their pav bhaji. One of Mumbai’s famous pav bhaji.
Excellent food and excellent service with the taste which is being served from last 25 years n more n more of their milkshakes are just breathtaking one came to mumbai n din had sukh sagar’s pav bhaji n masala pav then its waste coming to mumbai ... each and everything of sukh sagar is worth paying ...chowpaty
So if you ever go, girgaum chowpatty and crave to have that proper meal, for lunch or dinner, here is Sukh Sagar. So we had Punjabi kofta which was finger licking good, secondly Veg kolhapuri with crispy butter roti, ending up with jeera rice and Dal fry was probably the best meal.

This place at Chowpatty has been there since years which served every thing under on roof. Now the juices and the food is different. This place has the best steaming hot soft idlis and cold coconut chutney which is something highly recommend. The masala pav, pav bhaji and the pizza are great too. Small seating but quick service and courteous staff. Must visit.

One of the best iconic place to have some late night food in mumbai. It's just situated near to girgaon chowpatty. It have two different outlet where in one you can have pav bhaji, idling chutney, pizza and sandwiches. Where as the other one serves the varieties of juices.
The pav bhaji serve by the sukh sagar has best taste where you can have jain/mix pav bhaji, regular pav bhaji or cheese pav bhaji.
The softness of idli and chutney serve by it has a delicious taste .
So when you are hanging at marines and craving for food will suggest you to hav some mouth watering food at sukh sagar.
One of the most Iconic places of Mumbai, which unfortunately has been separated into two different outlets next to each other. Apologies, but I am unsure of the outlet I visited for which this review is applicable!
Nonetheless, the original plan was to have the Pavbhaji for which this place has always been known for. But while Browsing through the menu, it tempted us to order everything else other than Pav Bhaji 😄
What we ordered for starters were Paneer Tikka, Veg Cutlets, Masala Pav (had to because of the well known Bhaji) and Idli Chutney. The maine course included Vegetable Jalfrazie, Breads and Vegetable Biryani.
We really liked the food between 4 of us, but found it over priced considering the quality and ambience. I am cutting 1 star only because of the chaos in the restaurant, solely attributed to the loud neighbours across the restaurant. The service was quick and efficient and we would surely would like to visit again!
The pavbhaji here is just awsome...the best place toneat pavbhaji...one must go there once to have the delious taste of same...i had visited late night during ganpati....ambeince is also good

Best Pav Bhaji ever. Authentic Mumbai Pav Bhaji TASTE it has managed to retain all throughout these many years. Only thing, I could order only 2 extra PAV. Not more than that. Bhaji quantity was so much that we needed more than 4 pavs (indian bread). While ordering through Zomato, there were no option to add more than 2 extra pavs. So total only 4 pavs came and couldnt order more as there was not available to add extras from the menu. To add more pavs, we need to order one more extra bhaji. So overall it was good tastewise and quatitywise
This is a perfect restaurant to eat Mumbai style delicious food.. they have their 2-3 outlets in Mumbai. We tried their most famous MASALA pav. Spicy buttery, loaded with veggies, masala pav was very delicious. Then we tried honey chilli potatoes. These wer perfect chinese style tossed potatoes in honey, and Chinese sauces.
Totally worth the visit.

For the sabzi
Veg hyderabadi and methi malai mutter accompanied with butter roti/naan. Too tasty.
Then finally veg handi biryani.
This is usually what we order for lunch.
The other items aren't that well known.
Paneer chilli and pasta are good to taste.
Also, for south indian one can order masala dosa or tomato uttapam-which has authentic south indian taste.
Pav bhaji is super famous and must try.

Been going here since years now and the food is pretty good. Love their masala pao, pasta with exotic veggies and paneer chilly! The only thing that annoyed us was that the glasses and cutlery were generally quite untidy.
If you want to have good Punjabi and South Indian food around Chowpatty, Sukh Sagar is the place to be.
Waiting is lesser on weekends as compared to nearby food joints. Good Family restaurants which did well in the early years of 2000s.
Always full but amazingly tasty. famous for pavbhaji though the pizza is equally good and we ordered tawa pulav which was on a sweeter side. I found Jain pavbhaji more yum here.

Great place to have a peaceful meal. I have been to this place a lot of times and was impressed by their service every single time. Must try the cheese pav bhaji here. A little pricey, but worth it.
Love this place. Now it is fully air conditioned and the food here is amazing. Especially the masala pav is too tasty. The nachos are also yummy. Idli chutney is also damn good. The prices are also reasonable and ambience is also good.

I am fond of this place ... I loved Pav bhaji here almost every time whenever I visit Marin Drive. Pav bhaji is must for this place. This time I also tried Idali and it's too too too soft and delicious just loved it. Must try this whenever you are around to this place.
This place is HOME. Ever since my parents got engaged and since the earliest I could remember. This place has the best Idlis, dosa, jain masala pav is better than non-jain, pav bhaji, mixed fruit Sunday and I could go on. Be it 2pm or 2am this place will never let you go hungry and the staff is the most friendly one I’ve ever come across. A must try for people visiting chowpatty or Mumbai!!
The place is a name for itself. The Famous IDLIS it makes are the best and the only Idlis I have, ever. The coconut chutney they pour, seem, they pour their heart out. Their Pizza is way too good. The best part about this place is the rate is mediocre, compared to it's magnanimous name it has made over the years.

This place is opposite chowpatty. I love everything over here.This is south indian restaurant. Instead of south indian food you get Chinese, North Indian, Italian & Mexican food. Pav Bhaji is famous over here. This time we want to try some Italian & Mexican food.

Vegetable Lasagna:- This vegetarian lasagna is cheesy (of course), and loaded with vegetables. Serve with 3 Garlic Bread. It was awesome
Alla Arabiatta Pasta:- Penne Pasta in yummy red sauce.
Cassata Ice cream :- Cassata is one really good ice cream - worth - trying.

Not everybody gives this good quality with such a good taste and reasonable price. You have anything here everything is so delicious.
When it comes to Punjabi dishes- Veg Lajawab is my all time favourite.
And if you are a Masala Papad lover. Trust me you will love it the most. They serve amazing Masala Papad.
A Best place to Have Pav bhaji and pizzas in here the taste haven’t changed since here ...reasonable prices and good quantity worth the price.. should surely avoid visiting on sat sundays it’s really hell crowded service is very quick though

The food was really delicious, the place was hygienic, and it is a locally known place. I recommend to eat there, service is fast too. Pav bhaji is my recommendation.
However, as a solo traveler, I did not also feel very comfortable because around ten waiters were watching me while eating and as soon as I finished my food, they gave me the bill as if they wanted me to leave.

Its one of the oldest Restaurants in Colaba. The entire lane is full of there other business only. Sukh Sagar is one the food brands which you can trust blindly. Their big and aired Bhature were delicious, their Chole had light amount of sweetness which makes it a perfect combination. The Dal fry was thick and tasty. The biryani is our go to food as we love their taste soo much that everytime we order this first. Also they have options in Chinese, Mexican & Italian. The brand is maintaining their dignity and taste since 1961.I suggest you to visit this place whenever you are in Colaba.

This place is famous for coffee, juice and tea. After 1962 Sukh Sagar developed this food court and it has blossomed into 20 restaurants in several cities. It is near Girgaum Chowpatty. It is a fast food joint
Famous eatery near Chowpatty. Needless to say the prices will be on the higher side. We had ordered Pav Bhaji which at 200 rs, wasn't worth. The Chatni pav is good but high on garlic.
But the juices were really good. Service is quick as the place has high turnout. Good ambience.
Those pav bhajis were delicious. They were so buttery and you know that expression lost in the sauce? That's who I was when I ate the filling. We also ordered the giant dosa which came with three sets of sambar and chutney. The dosa remained crispy and buttered even at the very last bite. The paneer tikka biryani was also nice but not as tastebud pleasing as the other two. Lots of families were grabbing a bite and since it's right in the city centre it's reccommended for everyone who's looking for Indian food after seeing the views around.
Famous for pav bhaji ... Doesn't disappoint. Its just that it's always crowded and waiting 15-20 will be there.
