It's one of the finest places to have authentic mughlai delicacies.
However, their charges are hefty with less quantity. I wasn't very satisfied with the quantity of the food.
I had ordered,
Reshmi tikka, Malai tikka, paneer tikka, gurda masala, baida roti.
The taste was good. Personally, I really enjoyed malai tikka and reshmi tikka.
One of the famous in Mumbai for kebabs and roll.
Crowded place located near Gateway of India.
Amazing food do try if you are kebabs lover.
This place is definitely a must go if you are in Bombay. It has the best Butter Chicken in the city and the best Mutton Seekh Kabab ever. Established in 1946, it is the most famous Indian roadside eatery (now having sitting arrangements) in Bombay. Everything about this place is hip and happening. And the food is next level amazing. You will see people from all strata visit this place and hog on the food right on the road. It is that good!
Bademiya is a very famous place in mumbai. The food there is so good. A very crowded place at night you won't even get a table to have food but it is worth the money. The kebabs & rolls are very famous. It is a must visit place. The staff is polite, has a decent setting, also the biriyani is best.
Been here with best buddies. Enjoyed kebab and rest all food. Value for money

Love the rolls, baida roti, and kebabs over here. Don't forget to order a pepsi with your roll
The kheema fry was just of the perfect consistency . It had perfect balance of spices . The rumali roti was thin and soft.
The kabab roll is filled with mutton sheekh kabab , pickled onion and green chutney . They were wrapped in rumali roti. The kabab just melts in your mouth. One of the best rolls I have ever tried.
The kheema roll was kheema fry wrapped in a rumali roti. The
Roll was a bit spicy. But it was good
It was almost midnight and we were starving but thank god for this place

Who is up for some delicious delicacies of this iconic food place in Colaba?!
I visited this place a few weeks back and let me tell you, my stomach and my heart were on cloud 9! This is a small place with a sitting arena of about 25 people. The restaurant is known for its sumptuous kebabs, gravies and rolls/frankies. The ambience and hygiene sucks, but we were willing to ignore these things.
Must Try: Tandoori chicken, mutton kebabs, chicken bhuna gravy. 5/5
Must Must have: Rumali Roti (The most authentic ever!!!!) 5/5
Pay no attention to: Cleanliness 2/5
Want to shop some at colaba in the sunny afternoon and then have the best chicken dishes, Bademiya is the place where you go.
Little did we try of :~
1. Chicken bhuna ~ Confused of what to have with roti/naan? This, medium spicy is the perfect dish filled with chicken pieces to fill your tummy.
2. Dum biryani ~ Highly recommended Dum biryani at bademiya with mouth watering chicken pieces in it.
Overall experience was great and the place is very elegant as well as hygienic
Great dinning experience......very supportive and interactive staff which helps your out with the menucard.
They are best at appetizers and sizzlers❤️

Of the few places that serve food after 2AM . I always head to this place when I am in owl mode.. chicken starters are delicious and freshly prepared.. this place gives me the feeling of Mumbai meri jaan 😀
BADEMIYA is a legendary restaurant in Colaba - South Mumbai. Every Mumbaikar would have definitely heard of the place if not eaten here already.
Well known for being open till late night, feeding all the hungry patrons after their late night revelry 🍺 (me too being one of them at times 😅).
The prices have been hiked up over the years but thankfully the quality of food hasn't deteriorated much. In the earlier days you would find people just standing and having their meal while the more fortunate would have the hood of their cars to place their plates. They do have seating now so you can relax and finish your meal.
I tried the below.
Chicken Bhuna roll - A must eat. Well stuffed, excellent taste.
Chicken Tikka - Tender pieces of chicken but missed some spice. Average in taste.
Mutton Seekh Kebab - Juicy, succulent mutton served with a couple of mildly spiced chutneys. Paired with the chutney and some nan, this was perfect. Again a must try.
Location 📍- Bademiya (Colaba)

This place is most popular dish across mumbai. All you can eat and take away. Though, every pne visiting will not fall in love with ambience; food is what makes us forget the rest.
Peek on the table :
1) Tried Mutton seekh kebabs recommended
2) Chicken seekh kebab roll- recommended
3) Egg roll- kind of okayish
Couldn't try anything else but wil be surely visiting soon and will update the review.
Bademiyan is famous around the world and its reputation is totally worth it. You must try the mutton bheja and chicken baida roti
Started by Md. Yaseen in 1946 as a make shift sheek kebab counter for the naval officers living nearby, it has become a legendary outlet now with branches in the city. But the original outlet still survives and is a must visit if you are in the area. There are very few places in India where you can get egg bhurji (scambled egg) roll. The ones served here are awesome in taste. Service is fast and waiters are courteous and serve you with a smile. They even have a veg outlet nearby for the great paneer kebab rolls. Though they now have a seating arrangement as well, the real experience is to have the rolls while standing on the road.
This late night food heaven is a must visit if you are in colaba.
Tables and chairs r put up on the streets so zero points for ambience.
Service lightening quick.
My all time favourite is the chicken baida roti and the chicken tikka rolls. The mint chutney is to die for.
The mystery of who came first chicken or baida can get solved only at bademiya
Quick service, hot food.
For 230 bucks per plate, there should be more qunatity served.
I love how, even at 3am the place is crowded and bustling with life.
Very tasty food. Staff not friendly.
ambience is perfect here because they had seating arrangements opposite side of pavements. Love the colaba ambience and vibe, great location for shoots and photography
went with my wife after india west indies match! we had the veg seekh kabab which was mouthwatering. However they can do slightly better on ambience and food presentation.

The most famously over hyped restaurant in Mumbai. Its like a tourist attraction, any one who comes into town always asks about bademiya. Personally, I went there just because of the same reason. Even though the food was good, the service was not so particularly up to the mark.
They are known for their tikkas, kebabs and roomali rotis. The mutton seekh kebab and chicken leg are particularly good for starting off. For the main course, the bhuna tava items are good if you like spicy semi-gravy food. Combine that with the roomali roti or paratha and the combination is perfection.
No one will miss this place on their visit to Mumbai and i would suggest to definitely try it once after all its the famous "Bademiya" :)
If you are a non veg lover and you happen to be in South Mumbai nearby the iconic Taj Hotel, Bademiya is the place which you can’t afford to miss. This place echoes the sentiments of all Mughlai cuisine lovers.
Bademiya serves one of the best seekh kababs in town. This is my third visit here. I went there with my friends just to have a bite as we were already full. With the first bite of kabab we were lost in its taste; we ended up ordering more. Such is the power of their tastiest kababs.
What we ordered
1. Chicken Seekh kabab- 5/5
2. Mutton Keema Roll- 5/5
3. Chicken Tikka -2/5
4. Chicken Keema Fry -4/5
5. Rumali Roti -4/5
What we liked
Kabab, Roll, Keema fry
What we didn’t like
1. Chicken Tikka- It was below average
2. Staff behaviour
Given a chance, I would like to visit again to try their kababs.
The place has a lot of hype, the food is good too but not the best. The Roll was huge, was more than enough for one, the kebab was succulent too yet it lacked a certain flavour. But a wonderful eatery nevertheless.
A restaurant with limited seating space. The food is delicious. Chicken baida roti is worth giving a try. Mutton biryani too was a good option. Service can be improved.
If it is about delicious nonveg food, this place is a perfect go to place. But the customer satisfaction is zero here. Service is not very cordial. Tried bhuna chicken and it was awesome. Goes well with baida roti. Biryani was also authentic. Loved the food.
I was staying at the Taj Mahal Palace and there is a Bademiya strip literally behind the hotel... I decided to give it a try fully expecting the traditional ‘ Delhi belly’ but surprisingly no ill effects. The kebab was quite (very) spicy but tasty... I wouldn’t have it every day but certainly worth a try ... and kebab is not all they do, so there is a lot of different dishes to try
After a long party phase we were dead hungry. Bademiya stays open till 3am and trust me on weekends even at 3am you will feel its like day time because there's a huge rush. Needless to say about the food because it rocks. Baida roti is my favorite.
Bademiyan is the best ever hangout place for late nites. It has a different vibe all together, there is no place in comparison to this. Be it with food or the crowd or the aura there. It is situated at Aplollo bunder in Mumbai. Mainly known for all tandoor food items which are totally worth it !
We went on a long drive late at night and this is only place once can be which is open till almost 2am. this place serves some of the most amazing rolls that you can think of.
Who said Bademiyan is not recommended for vegetarians!!! We had the best ever Paneer Bhurji with roomali roti! They had the best green chatni served onions.
We tried their :
Paneer Tikka Roll
Paneer Bhurji
Roomali Roti
Do visit this place if you with to experience the late night food life of mumbai.
Well the real pleasure of coming over here is to drive down here , park your car, place soda bottle under the hood converting it into the table, watching random passengers go by, occasional street fights and looking at cheerful crowd right from rags to riches..WOW.. what an experience, oh wait a minute, I am food blogger I have to say something about food. Nah not gonna talk about it. I guess if you have Zomato app and you are reading my reviews, then you have time and resources to get here...try it on or when on you are on deathbed when the god comes down to pick you up he might be picking his tooth with a toothpick and saying.. bade miyan ka kya khana tha..,,and then you wouldn’t understand what your creator is talking about!! Before this blasphemy get down here and save soul
One of super pricy place with lots of emotions! I have been going to this place since my childhood and I have always seen this place with crowd! Cant imagine this place without crowd! You can't miss this place when you go for Nightout! Over here super tasty mughlai food is served till 3:30 am in the morning! Having tasty food late on the car is just amazing! Every Mumbaikar has visited this place some time or the other! But now they have increased the prices alot! But yes they do have amazing service , super fast! Now coming to the food! I have tried their full menu!
My personal favourite dishes are
Butter Chicken Roll
Chicken Bhuna With Roomali Roti
Baida Roti
Coming here again soon!
Fastest service and amazing taste!! These words are enough to describe this place. You should visit if you are in colaba. The support staff is also helpful and prompt. Even vegetarians came visit this place...
Bademiya is a nonveg joint situated in Colaba.
The sitting and ambience is not so good.but people come here from far places just to enjoy its delicious food.
They serve chicken and mutton items.
If you come here late evening then you will find this place crowded.
I love their Naida roti, chicken kabab and mutton sheek kabab.
The chicken kabab are perfectly roasted on the coal flame and it has that particular smoky flavour.
Their chicken Boti masala is very tasty.
The rates are ok.
This place don't have like proper ambience but you the place to sit and eat.. but to have Bademiya's food everything is fine. There will be more rush the overall feel at that place is awesome. The buna chicken is too good. #zomato#foodgasm#food#foodie#foodporn#foodaholic#foodoftheday#foodtalkindia#foodgram#foodblogs#foodbloggers#foodbloggerindia#foodholicmumbai#
Visited it after ages. The taste hasn't changed a bit.
The sitting area is a bit Shady and not well cleaned, portions seemed less as per the pricing.
But the taste of butter chicken, chicken tikka, chicken seekh kebabs was outstanding and mouthwatering.
Loveeeeee the place. Cannot go wrong here with any dish. Quick friendly service. Fresh roti and bread. Fantastic non veg dishes. Must try their kebabs , and mutton especially.
I think there is a separate vegetarian only counter but I cannot say a 100%.
But overall a timeless place. Must visit for non vegetarian food

Bademiya Restaurant, a culinary destination with a diverse menu, caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, offering a range of dishes from biryanis to kababs, tandoori delights, and even Chinese cuisine.
The biryanis, available in both veg and non-veg options, showcase a decent or commendable taste, falling into the range of average to good. The aromatic flavors and well-cooked rice contribute to a satisfying dining experience. However, the price point might be on the higher side, reflecting the quality of ingredients and preparation.
The kababs, a highlight of the menu, are crafted with expertise, whether you opt for veg or non-veg varieties. The tandoori options add a smoky and charred dimension to the culinary journey. While the taste is generally good, the price tag may leave some patrons expecting a more exceptional flavor profile for the cost.
The inclusion of Chinese cuisine diversifies the menu, providing an alternative for those seeking a departure from traditional Indian flavors. However, the taste here tends to align with the overall theme – generally good but not extraordinary.
In terms of ambience, Bademiya Restaurant offers a welcoming environment, and the service is typically attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience.
In summary, Bademiya Restaurant is a decent choice for those craving a mix of Indian and Chinese flavors, with the biryanis, kababs, and tandoori dishes being the standout offerings. While the taste is generally good, the higher prices may be a consideration for some diners looking for a more exceptional gastronomic experience.
One of the oldest and famous restaurants for Chicken items.
I tried their Sikh kabab , and it was the most tasty Kababs I ever had. Other kababs were also good.
We tried their Veg subji and it was also very tasty.
The food was very real, and the service was fast, and the cleanliness was taken care of, and the taste of the dish was very tasty, the test was very owsm
Iconic kebab restaurant since 1946. Situated just behind the TAJ palace road, Colaba. Very much overhyped. Food tatse was good but service, hygiene and cleaniness is worst. You can try both veg & non- veg option in kebab, rolls, tawa, sigdi, biriyani & Indian roti. Make sure to have cash in your wallet before you dine since they wont accept digital payment nor UPI.
One of best kebab places in Mumbai. Each and every kebab is individual in taste and bomb of flavours. No one can escape it's spells. The place is always crowded. But once you enter in the restaurant, the order taking techniques and delivery speed is remarkable. Without note it down the serving boys remember the order and they never mix it up with other tables. Baida roti, and seekh kebabs are die for. I never had such a good veg Sikh kebab in a place of nonveg. This is not merely a place a food but a heritage, an emotion.
This restaurant delivers food all around Mumbai. Car service as well as take away service available. Good food for non veg lovers. Open till 4am in the morning so an after party food place.
I have been to only Colaba Shop branch and it's been a decade I regularly visit Bademiya.
They have grown from Rs.100 per plate to now Rs.380 😂...
Personal Favourite Chicken Bhuna,Keema and Bhej Fry with Rumali Roti... 1000 is more than enough for 2 people.... Open until 4 AM in the Morning..
The Chicken Biryani here was awesome. They serve it with a delicious mix of onion and tamarind chutney on the side.
Parking is always difficult at this place so avoid taking your own vehicle. Also, hygiene could be better. Nonetheless, gonna be a fan of Bademiya.
I visited this place at 12:30am, it was very crowded and the place was stinking a little. We took our Chicken Bhuna Roll as take away and had it in our car as there was no space there at all. The food was very delicious as always. We loved the rolls and the Seekh kebabs too. Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.
We were looking out for some good kebab food options, and reached bandra at automatically stopped at bademiya. We were 4, we ordered phirnis, shahi tukda, baida roti, salli boti, chicken bhuna wrap and chicken biryani. This may sound a lot but their portions are not huge and so does their price. They claim it to be 2-3 person sufficient quantity but 1 dish is barely sufficient for a second serving on even 1 person. Popular destination for locals and tourists alike who are looking to savor some delicious North Indian and Mughlai cuisine in Mumbai.
Bade Miya is all about good non veg kebab and non veg cuisine. Originally it was Street side kebab centre. Now since it gained popularity they have taken place for rent which can roughly accommodate 100 people only. If you are visiting after 8pm, then get ready to wait for your turn. If you can manage to take your vehicle in front of the restaurant then you can order food inside the car. Food is good but it used to be awesome in 90s ...but still a good place to visit.... enjoy....
Price is a bit on the higher range for the kebabs where as quantity is less.
But their rumali roti and bheja masala are a must try. Definitely recommended. Also tried their bhuna mutton and it was good too.
Mutton seekh kebabs taste was good but they give only 4 pieces for Rs 320.
Overall a good place to visit for a fun evening
