One of the Best Fine Dining experience we had in a long time and the most important part is that it's complemented with our most favourite Chinese cuisine .
Marine Plaza has always given us fond memories as a couple . From our stay after marriage to the great brunch at bay view and now once again this amazing experience at The Oriental Blossom .
It's a ideal place to visit to celebrate your special occasion without a second thought .
Our recommendations for you from their humungous menu :
Manchow Soup and Lemon Corrainder Soup are definitely to savour from the soup section .
Jade Rolls is their signature version of spring roll and is something which you shouldn't miss out when out here for sure .
Steamed Tofu and Fresh Mushrooms with chill soya sauce .
An appetizer for all you mushroom lovers out there .
Stuffed Potatoes with Hot Garlic Sauce & Haka Noodles are the most amazing mains to go for .
Cocktails :
Chandon Mojito is the most unique and luscious drink to enjoy with those appetizers .
Mimosa and Tom Collins are the excellent classic cocktails not to be missed while having your meal out here .
Dessert :
Darsaan with Vanilla Icecream . Honey laden crisp noodles with Vanilla Icecream marked just a perfect end to this special eve.
Thank You for Reading our Review .
The best Chinese food we have eaten in Mumbai. Very delicious and authentic. Service was amazing, food spice level was amazing, drinks were also really nice. They have a variety of Mocktails. Everything on the menu was delicious. Especially the lobster starter in garlic sauce and prawns that comes with fried spinach. The fried spinach was so good, that we ordered one more of only the spinach with seeds. If you are in Mumbai you have to try this place out - we are defintely going to go back here. This place is always crowded, so make sure to make a reservation before hand. It was one of our birthdays, so they provided us with a beautiful Cake as a surprise, really sweet of them xx
The Wasabi prawns and Mongolian lamb were superb! Great service from Shraddha and team.
Awesome quality of food and service was just amazing especially the Omkar Vijay and Roshan very extremely polite and helpful will see you soon guys keep it up š¤ā¤ļø

Overall the place gets the wonderful view of the marine drive so you will just love to eat watching the sea.AS by sea they also carry Seafood.

So the dishes which I had there was:
--> Spinach and pakchoi dumplings
This is a Steamed dumpling filled with Pakchoi which is a Chinese cabbage, spinach and spring onion.A dish is of vegetables cooked slowly in liquid in a closed dish or pan.(Casseroles) (4.2/5)
--> Water chestnut n corn dumpling
This water chestnut is a grass-like sedge which comes originate from China and native to Asia and much more countries. The corn just burst up the flavor and makes it more tasty to eat such dish. (4.5/5)
--> Phoenix tail stuffed prawns
This is actually the shrimps which are small free-swimming crustacean with an elongated body, typically marine and frequently of commercial importance as food.It stuffed well and delicious. (4.5/5)
--> Spicy Braised aubergine crispy spinach in hot garlic sauce
Aubergine is a British word and It's actually called as Eggplant which comes from northern America. They are the species of nightshade, grown for its edible fruit. It's stew very well and mouth-watering when the crispiness and sauce get to your tongue. (5/5)
--> Eight treasure golden nest chicken
Fried noodles as a shape of a nest with the topping of chicken. The sauce and spring onion makes the dish exostic. (4/5)
Dessert:
--> Chocolate molten lava cake
The molten lava cake is a pure thick chocolate with limited sweetness.(3.5/5)
Both the Mock Meat dishes: Mock Meat with Fried Tofu Snow peas and Button Mushrooms, and the Mock Meat with Pepper in Chili Black Bean Sauce, are both fabulous. A must try for vegans but I'm sure anyone would find these dishes fabulous.

Especially thanks to roshan and Rony.their service are very excellent and lovely. They help us to choose the nice dishes. Definitely coming back to there. Thank you very happy coming back soon
A birthday day well spent in the comforts of this beautiful restaurant overseeing the sea. The service (by Lavkush and Roshan) was fantastic, they catered to all our food requests and took utmost care of the smallest of the details, their hospitality was welcoming. The food , it's taste, proportion and presentation was exquisite. Jade roles, Kung Pao potatoes, fried rice , noodles, Manchurian, pan fried and steamed dumplings and water chestnut stir fry in hot garlic sauce are a must try.
And ofcourse the honey noodles with vanilla ice cream and to end the dinner with biting into a fortune cookie and be amazed :p.
We had a wonderful dinner and specially thanks to Roshan who served us so well. The place is so charming and elegant and food is real Chinese. A must order dish is honey pepper roast
pork.
Omkar is a legend , roshan is a god , prince is a cutie
Lavish ambience, super delicious food ,ace services and special thanks to a staff named Omkar he was super kind ,definitely recommended
The Oriental Blossom is located in the beautiful Marine Plaza next to Mumbaiās Marine Drive. It has been serving chinese cuisine since last 25 Years. The ambiance here is perfect for a Romantic Date. I visited this place for their Clay Pot Menu. Below are the things that we ordered.
Wok grilled Baby Potato in Hunan Sauce
Baby Potatoes cooked in Hunan sauce along with some Yellow and Red Bell peppers, Onions, Green Onions. Since they were tossed in a wok with very high flames they were very well caramelized in the Hunan Sauce.
Vegetable & Mushrooms in Steamed Buns
Piping Hot Buns stuffed with Mushrooms and Vegetables like Cabbage, Carrots and Onion. The buns were very soft and it went very well with soy sauce. It had a very strong earthy flavor from the Mushrooms.
Stuffed Mushrooms in Chilli Coriander Sauce
Something very innovative prepared by the chef here, scooped out Mushrooms stuffed with Vegetable Manchurian and cooked in a sauce made out of fresh Coriander Stem, lots of Chilies and Garlic.
Aromatic Burnt Garlic and Chili Noodles
Very Long Noodles tossed in lots of Burnt Garlic and some Chilli, coated in Soy Sauce. It was a perfect starch to go along with our Main Course.
Po Chai Fan (Pot Rice with Mushroom)
One of the best Pot Rice I have had till date, it was very simple yet packed with flavours. A bed of steamed rice topped with multiple varieties of Mushrooms like Shiitake, Button, Porcini, Oyster etc. Carrots, Green Onions, Zucchini. The stalk coming from all these ingredients gave this pot rice superb flavor.
Their Clay Pot Menu just had One Vegetarian Option in it, I would be really happy to see a couple more.
Dark Chocolate Molten Lava Cake
Since it was a Lava Cake there should be chocolate stuffed inside the Cake, but we were served with a chocolate sauce separately to pour on it and there was no lava coming out of the centre. If we ignore that the chocolate sauce was very rich and it was tasting divine with the chocolate cake. Dark Chocolate as expected.

Beautiful view with delicious food! What else could you ask for.
A part of Oriental Blossom at Marine plaza over looks the sea. It's a beautiful sight.
This Chinese restaurant has a very extensive menu for Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian..
Two pages in the Menu only for soups..how cool is that.
You will be spoilt for choices.
We started with soups.
Hot and sour, Nanking and a Clear soup. They were good.
For appetizers we tried the Dimsums, steamed chilli oil Dimsum, waterchestnuts, broccoli stirfry. The stirfry was super spicy but flavorful. The Dimsums were decent.
For mains we tried the braised Tofu Claypot, morning glory, garlic fried rice and mock meat.
The morning glory was my favorite. Perfectly stirfried with garlic. So so flavorful and delicious. The garlic fried rice was delicious too. Tofu Claypot was non spicy, with rice vermicelli and vegetables. My son enjoyed it. The mock meat was soy and quite peppery. My husband enjoyed it.
We had no room for desserts.
The mocktails could have been better. Overall good food.

We were so glad that we visited in the month of August or else we would have missed this opportunity. We enjoyed our lunch and tried a variety of dishes.
I loved their appetizers especially the Prawns Dumplings, Crispy Lamb and Fish in Garlic Sauce.
For main course we tried their special Menu and ordered two Claypots. Both the claypot dishes were superb. I as well as my family loved both of them. A must try dish at this Restaurant.
Finally we ended with two delicious desserts which were the Cheesecake and Tiramisu.
I would recommend this place for all Chinese Lovers . You won't regret visiting here.
The Oriental Blossom ā„ļø
Another amazing restuarant of Mumbai is off my Bucket List now. Finally got an opportunity to visit The Oriental Blossom and we were lucky enough to visit during the Claypot Menu which is being done in the month of August.
It's located in the Hotel Marine Plaza exactly opposite Marine Drive. You get to dine with a beautiful view of the sea. The ambience is super just like a Chinese diner.
The Staff is excellent and very efficient. Stud Vijay attended our table and helped us choose some really good dishes from the Menu.
***Cocktails***
We tried Chandon Delice and Chandon Mojito. Two amazing Wine drinks made using the special Chandon Sparkling Wine.
***Appetizers***
We tried a variety of dishes like Dumplings, Prawns in Salt & Pepper, Fillet Pomfret Garlic Chilly and Crispy Schezwan Lamb. We loved the dumplings especially the Prawns variant and also Prawns and Lamb appetizers.
***Main Course***
And finally the main thing that we loved here were their Claypots. We tried Braised Pomfret Claypot and Prosperity Chicken Claypot in XO Sauce. Two equally different but amazing dishes.
***Desserts***
Desserts were a perfect end to one of the best Lunch that I have had in recent times. We tried the Philadelphia Cheesecake and Kahlua Triamisu. Both the deseertst were simply delicious and mind-blowing.
I surely recommend Chinese Food Lovers to visit The Oriental Blossom in the month of August to try their Claypots.

The Oriental Blossom.
A place that was on my bucketlist since a really long time. I have always heard only positives about this restaurant because they have maintained their authenticity so perfectly and the standards have just been rising for every patron to have a memorable experience.
The taste of food is one of the best in Mumbai if you want to savour authentic Chinese Cuisine.
Located in Hotel Marine Plaza, the ambiance is classy and the servers are very polite and humble. The view is ecletic. Be it a romantic lunch date or a family meal, Oriental Blossom will make you enjoy every minute here with every morsel. We were a group of 5-6 people and hence could taste variety of dishes.
What I Tried?
CHANDON MOJITO
What better drink to start with ! Rains outside the balcony, steaming hot food paired with a glass of Chandon.
PAN FRIED CHICKEN DUMPLINGS
Asked for a smaller portion I being the only one to eat chicken but yes, I'm a fan of Chicken dumplings and the soft-crisp balance was perfect.
SESAME CHICKEN
Well tossed in sauces being slightly sweet and at the same time flavourful.
WATER CHESTNUT AND CORN DUMPLING
I've recently started liking steamed water chestnut dumplings and if you find it bland, pair it with schezuan and you will love it.
TRADITIONAL ONION SPINACH PANCAKES
This is something unique. Deep fries crisp and stuffed with onion soinach marinade.
STUFFED POTATO IN CHILLY GARLIC SAUCE
Tasted really good with noodles. Orange gravy that had potatoes.
BURNT CHILLY GARLIC RICE
Highly recommended. Eat this with or without gravy it was that good !
FRIED WONTONS
Again Highly recommended :)
VERMICELLI NOODLES
Swutch to this if you wish to have a non-flour noodles. This was made with rice.
Desserts
PHILADELPHIA CHEESECAKE
MOLTEN LAVA CAKE
I'm not even kidding but we ordered two rounds of dessert because they were sooo sooo good ! Molten lava cake is pretty sweet but those who like slightly less sweet you definitely need to have the cheesecake.
So this place is my for sure recommendation to you guys !

Came here for a team lunch on Saturday from work. The place is pretty big with good view and amazing ambiance. It was especially fun since we came when it was raining outside and the weather was just perfect. The place is very well made with some contemporary art pieces from China. Loved the decor. The seating is pretty amazing too. We had a massive table for 8 just for us. It was practically a separate private dining area.
The service was excellent too. The manager and chef kept on coming to ensure everything is going smooth and the food is as per our preference. It was a special experience. The food was excellent too. Only complaint being that there were fewer vegetarian options than I would have liked. The manager recommended a few of his specials and we loved it.

This place is known for its authentic Chinese cuisine. Almost more than two decades that the restaurant has been serving excellent Oriental food. Being in Hotel Marine Plaza, the ambiance is decent & classy. Actually liked their private dining area it is a perfect preparation for a family get together or a Corporate get together.
Considering the authenticity of the food, all credit goes to Chef Huang Te Sing. Itās been 23 years now that heās been the backbone of the great kitchen of Oriental Blossom.
The place has set menus as well as an AlacartƩ menu.
Our recommendations would be The Jade Rolls, the Crispy Veg Wantons in the appetisers. In Main Course we tried their Clay Pot Rice & The Burnt Garlic Rice with Stuffed Mushrooms.
The dining experience wouldnāt have been the best without Mr Nikhil, who was our server. Loved the hospitality given to us by him.
The desserts were nice. We tried the Cheese Cake & the Honey noodles, it was light and up to the mark. Loved it.
Overall experience was extremely good, there was no such thing in the food that went wrong. Everything was perfect.

The food is simply delicious. Will recommend all of you to please come over to this place and enjoy your meal. The waiters are very courteous.š
It wasnāt very long back that we had a leisurely lunch at Oriental Blossom, Marine Plaza, celebrating my dadās birthday. We were back promptly for another celebration, since it was such a great experience. The staff has a special way of making you feel welcome and well taken care of, while giving their patrons privacy. The food was excellent, exactly the kind of Chinese that I crave, and gets my taste buds tingling. The staff is happy to make small changes and accommodations to the items on the menu. We had a hearty soup, followed by an appetiser made of some high quality tofu . The spring rolls were average, though the coating was crispy, the stuffing could be better. An array of sauces accompanied the soft dimsums which we had plenty of. We finished the meal with an excellent flourless cake which oozed warm chocolate.
This place has always been one of my favorite places for good authentic Chinese food.
Their Jade rolls are one of the best I have ever had.
The food and service is good , though the price is a little steeper than it should be imo.
Still overall if you want a taste of authentic Chinese, this is one place to try.

The Oriental blossom has decent Ambience.
Coming to the food, we enjoyed a lot of food which can't even described in too much details here but I can easily say that. This as one of the most highly recommend places by me.
Awesome Chinese and seafood.. Food was tasty and unique.. we tried jumbo prawns and some noodles, both the dishes were amazing.. the view is super duper too i.e. right in front of the marine drive. Their wine collection is also good. And last but not the least, very courteous and friendly staff. They are patient and gives every customer an undivided attention! Good experience, will visit again for sure.
The best Oriental Chinese I've ever had is from this place. The paneer is so soft. Like ever bit you have is actually a taste from the upper worlds. The soups are delicious. A friend even had chicken. He loved it. Called it the best chicken in Bombay
They served us jasmine tea.. Quite average
Can't complain for free things.. Haha
Appetisers
Had fried wantons and spring rolls.. Both were good
Loved their corn on toast.. Must try!!
Didn't like their kung pao potatoes.. While it was an exception as it wasn't in menu but they said they could make it for us. However we were expecting the soft wedges kind of potatoes.. But it turned out the thin crispy ones which didn't taste so good either..
Their manchow soup was just perfect for the wintery evening
Mains
Loved and recommend their stir fry veggies in black pepper sauce
Tried burnt garlic fried rice.. Good
Didn't like their manchurian balls though
Hakka noodles were good
lastly going to Chinese restaurants always ends with a sweet note (reading up fortune is silly but fun at any age)
Service was excellent
For all Chinese cuisine lovers out there.. Don't miss out on this place!!
OMG ! The 5 star in mumbai with the best Chinese food so far. I have been here plenty of times in the past over the years, however the last time, just over a week ago, I was blessed to be here with the extended family of the hotel owners and I must say I have had a fantastic dining experience.
It starts with the yum prosperity soup which is a delight if you are a sea food or any white soup(corn soup type) lover.
The appetizers just yum. Fish in red pepper sauce, beef I think in a special sauce prepared by the age old chef here (who is fantastic btw), prawn I think butter garlic just yum (this one was reordered), crispy curd (veg appetiser best eaten hot) interesting texture but a great fish nonetheless, a chicken black bean appetiser which was also great.
The main course was I think top notch. Usually in Chinese food in mumbai I think the main course usually canāt top the appetisers. However at marine plaza they make a mean (yummy) Mongolian chicken gravy, a superb mushroom chicken pot rice and one of the best chicken pan fried noodles. The honey crunch noodles with vanilla ice cream was good as well, could use a little improvement here.
All in all a great place to celebrate and enjoy a glorious meal with some of the best views of marine drive and the queens necklace.
Must Visit.
The Oriental blossom located at Nariman Point gives the great view of queen neckless.
Food is excellent with good portion size,Tiger Prawns were awesome and so peking duck.

Great food, really good service by Luvkush. Although the restaurant didn't receive the table booking made through the Zomato app.
Dumplings are a must try.
Marine plaza.... I think its one of my fav restaurants.
Located at marine drive with the view of Queen necklace and that is the best part of it.
I loved the decoration of the restaurant and Chinese food. I would like to mention about Mr. Pratik such a humble person and he made my day and not even he only all the staff attitude was great.

Located in the iconic Nariman point area .. hotel Marine plaza is a name which needs little introduction. This restaurent is a part of Marine plaza , located on the first floor! The ambience and decoration is superb !!! We were a large group so we tried many dishes. I must say i cudnt find anything to complain about..the startes which included prawns , dimsum nd wonton were perfect!!!! The main course included pot rice , mongolian chicken and hakka noodles. The presentation was nice and the service was too good. We were served by Mr Vijay and Mr Lavkush .Both of them were patient, cooperative, and gave us the right suggestions. Recently celebrated a birthday here. This place is a hidden jewel on marine drive.
Love the ambiance, food, service just everything about this place.
We ordered the spring rolls and they were served with a dipping sauce. I like the sauce but could've been a bit spicier.
For main course we ordered pan fried noodles, pot rice and fried rice with chicken and fish. Love the Barbeque platter here. The desserts tasted good but nothing exceptional.
The food will make you come back for more. Love the ambiance, food, service just everything about this place. With a price inclusive of all taxes we got 15% Discount on bill using my QUICKPERKS Discount Card. Thanks to QP!
What a meal it was at Oriental Blossom in Marine Plaza on Marine drive!
The service was exemplary and with a smile. Vipul waited on us and he was so helpful with his suggestions and his smiling service.
The food was terrific! Every item beginning with hot and sour soup and delicious barbecued prawn was So perfect in taste. So were the crispy veggies and the spring rolls. Very authentic too. The icing on the cake was the burnt garlic rice and diced chicken in Mongolian sauce..simply mouth watering!
The desserts were very good too..we had Toffee Banana and Lychees with Icecream.
It is for these very reaons that we keep returning to this wonderful restaurant which has a beautiful gentle ambience and is not noisy.
Food was well priced and was delicious. Server Roshan was extremely pleasant, as were other staff members . Would definitely recommend to all interested in fine dining Chinese
Excellent food, service & ambience. Very polite & helpful staff. Lovely view of the Arabian Sea. A must for Chinese lovers. The chicken was succulent and tender . The stir fried vegetables were very tasty .
Oriental Blossom is one of the restaurants on first floor of Marine Plaza.. This place is fine dining place with amazing view and menu crafted and also the kitchen is commanded by Chef Huang Te Sing who is chinese by origin and is with Marine Plaza for almost 23 years.. We were welcomed by mesmerizing Jasmine tea, I just kept sipping it whole time..
Coming to food:
A bow down to Executive corporate Chinese chef Huang Te sing at The oriental blossom for maintaining the standard of the authentic Chinese or pan Asian cuisine we have grown up eating. Very very rarely do we get to indulge in such authentic and delicious meals which are no nonsense and no fuss. Simple, classy and good food which touches ones soul. Fusion fads will wear off but such food is here to stay. Ever since I have dined here I canāt wait to go back again for another such lovely meal. The menu is so vast that it will take me a few visits to really try some of my favourite here. The ambience is decent and the service prompt and attentive. The crowd is elite and Iām sure of patent customers here.
Coming to the food , we enjoyed a lot of food which canāt even be described in too much details here as my review will get extremely lengthy and tiresome but I can easily tern this as one of the most highly recommended places by me for an authentic Chinese meal in Mumbai. If u have been a fan of kamling, chopsticks, Flora, China garden etc then u know what I mean. This place holds a stance in that category.
Coming to the food, we enjoyed ;
1. Veg wanton soup. After ages I tried a clear soup and relished it to the core. Was excellent.
2. Fried corn curd. The signature dish here. Very few people these days know this dish as itās hardly a part of the menu now. Was simply outstanding.
3. Wok grilled water chestnuts with pepper, fresh mushrooms, broccoli tossed in chilli pepper sauce. A refreshing appetiser and we especially loved it since weary fond of these vegetables.
4. Jade rolls with spinach & shredded vegetables filling served with hot garlic sauce. Again a significant part of the menu. A must try as this dish also is a treat.
5. Spinach & pok choy dumplings. Iām a big fan of Dimsums and dumplings. These were quite remarkable and flavoursome.
6. Water chestnuts & corn dumplings. Again a good choice in the Dimsum. Soft exterior and crunch inside.
7. Stuffed tofu in chilli garlic sauce. This was a thick gravy and was served as a main course. Iām not a tofu fan but this tofu can be easily termed as the best I have ever had. Nice garlicky flavour in the sauce and the stuffing of mushrooms inside the tofu gave the flavour a nice punch.
8. Spicy braised aubergine in hot garlic sauce. What a brilliant dish!!!!! Again not an aubergine fan but give this dish a try without fail. Found it extremely difficult to control myself at one slice of crispy aubergine. I could have gone on and on. This was crispy fried sliced aubergines topped with a nice hot chilly garlic sauce. Mind blowing flavour. The aubergine is a substitute for meat or fish perhaps and does the same justice to the vegetarian palate as the non veg would.
9. Eight treasure golden pouch. An assortment of vegetables tossed in wok laced with spicy tangy sauce. A taronest kind of dish. Beautiful colours of vegetables and the flavours were so prominently felt in each bite. A bit difficult to eat with fork and knife so went ahead relishing this dish with my hands.
10. Vegetables mushrooms steam buns. Almost like bao buns stuffed with mushrooms. The chef has a perfection in this and I could feel the texture of the bun like a steam bread. Could he relished the way it is or even with some gravies.
11. Mantou (steam/fried) buns. Now this is truly truly truly the rarest of rare dishes we see these days. We tried the both the steamed and fried variety and we just canāt get over the amazing feeling of enjoying a great meal like this. Do order this with gravies.
12. Stir fried vegetables in Mongolian sauce. The best of assorted healthy glazed vegetables tossed in a highly flavoured sauce. Loved it. Ideally combined with the mantou.
13. Po chai fan. Pot rice cooked with bamboo shoots, vegetables and mushrooms. A mustttt Trey here. Fantastic.
14. Veg pan fried noodles. Again a satisfying dish. Crispy pan fried noodles tossed with regular noodles and loads of vegetables. Ideal for me.
15. Honey tossed noodles with almond flakes with vanilla ice cream. A dessert which can never go wrong. Loved the presentation and the almond flakes used as a garnish. The generous portions are commendable.
This place is highly highly recommended by me. Do try it if you want to catch up with the real flavours of a good Chinese meal which were what we were used to in the age of non fusion and non gastronomic meals. This is what real meals are.

Menu is beautifully curated and swayed over by Chef Huang Te Sing (Chinese parentage raised in India)with an experience and expertise of 36 years of which he's spent 23 years at TOB Marine Plaza.

A vegetarian appetiter, a must have at TOB not a chinese origin but its WOW, the corn curd has an amazing texture and melts on the palate you got to have it piping hot to experience the feel, effortless on the palate but a lot of efforts in the making of the dish, crisp crust and smooth (jelly) consistency on the inside. Do try it.

Team Marine Plaza and The Oriental Blossom Cheers...!!
Came here for the first time, ambiance was good. But I was really confused by looking at the menu it had a long list but Roshan help me in selecting the dish.I had yummy and delisious chicken tossed with slit chilly and spring onion. Great food. And chocolate molten lava cake made my day.Definitely coming with my frnds on next weekend.
Without doubt one of my favorites. Please give our thanks to the Manager Prince and your wonderfull staff. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) . I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, and very good service,we had a delightful server,Roshan. He had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. Will be back definitely!
The Oriental Blossom (Marine Plaza) what do I say about this place. Nostalgic. Ambiance class. Service quick and Good. Food - Chef Huang Te Sing (take a bow) 36 Years of experience, 23 years at Marine Plaza. This is one of the most authentic Chinese foods we had in recent times. The who's who have are frequent visitors here (They know what authentic Chinese cuisine is all about) No Fusion (No confusion) kept it Simple.
Started with Diced Chicken with Black Pepper sauce - a simple dish yet made classy. Diced tender chicken tossed in Black pepper sauce (a good hit of pepper) flavours and aroma written all over it. Bell pepper/onions and greens went well with this. Fresh Pepper was just apt.
Jade rolls with Spinach - lovely presentation. Basically Jade dumplings stuffed in vegetables and spinach. This was again Topped with shredded spinach (gave the crunchy feel) Hot garlic sauce went well with it as the same was poured over the Jade rolls. Overall lovely fresh and melt in mouth.
Chicken water chestnut nest - speciality of this restaurant. Crispy noodles next stuffed with Diced chicken and water chestnut along with bell peppers/onions and scallions.
TOB Special Crispy fried Corn Curd -texture was amazing. Melt in mouth. Subtle in taste. Nice mix of Corn/corn flour a bit of salt pepper. Just loved having this. Served piping hot. Must try.
Very few places in Mumbai serve Mantou - loved both the steamed and the fried version. Basically Chinese buns (popular in north china) Do ask for this. Goes well with the gravy.
Mains - kept it simple. All veg. Classics. Chilli garlic noodles. Loved the texture feel flavours. Pan fried with a lovely balance of pepper and good hit of chilli and garlic. This is authenticity at its best.
Water Chestnut with baby corn and pepper in chilli bean sauce - texture loved it. Velvety sauce was perfect. Correct balance of fresh pepper. Just got that hit required. Sauce was good. Bell peppers onions went well. Water chestnut (fresh) gave that crunchiness to the dish. Overall lovely.
Ordered for Oriental delight without mushrooms. Chef made a subtle dish with Garlic/soy sauce with exotic vegetables (Broccoli/zucchini/snow peas/water chestnut/bell peppers and scallions) loved the garlic balance. Subtle yet classy.
Dessert - Honey Tossed noodles with almond flakes - this is one of the best. Light crispy at the same time correct texture. Nice balance of Honey and almond flakes. Guess one of the best I have had. Go for this dish.
My overall experience - F A N T A S T I C

V nice food service was good ambiance of the decorations and food today I had corn curd and lamb and noodles and spring roll and person was serving was good
We recently had lunch at this Chinese restaurant. The breathtaking view of marine drive and classy ambience really did set the mood. The interiors looks old but gives a feel of contemporary luxury.
The manager does a good job in suggesting dishes. Very prompt service.
Food was nice. We had veg Hakka noodles with chicken Mongolian and Vegetables in ginger garlic sauce.
Had a lovely time here.
Visited here the other evening for dinner.
Been going here I was a kid. Not much has changed here and that's a good sign.
We ordered the spring rolls and they were served with a dipping sauce. I like the sauce but could've been a bit spicier.
Then we ordered the burnt garlic veg fried rice and we got the vegetable balls customised with a spicy Sichuan sauce.
Both were great, mild flavours with a good balance m the spice wasnt overwhelming but you could still feel the warmth from the Sichuan peppers.
The rice was so good I could eat it by itself.
To close the evening we ordered the red velvet cake with cranberry caviar. The cake was just alright and needs a cream cheese icing VS just regular icing.
Overall a satisfactory experience. Will surely visit again and again.
Highly recommended.
Didn't take enough pics as it was date night.
One of my old favourites. Great service , polite & attentive staff and awesome food . Love their Jade rolls , soups , Singapore noodles , egg plant ,& Stir fried Vegetables. They made really delicious jain food on request .
Elegantly located on the 1st level of the Sea Facing Marine Plaza , this oriental eatery boasts of some of the most delectable south Asian flavours in this part of town .
Decor-4/5
Large spacious tables for regular seating and slightly cordoned off tables for the privacy of larger groups , it is a well laid down place for fine dining .
Service :5/5
Attentive staff , always at a slight distance discreetly waiting to make the evening memorable .
Food:
Generous portions and great VFM
We enjoyed all our starters:
Diced chicken in pepper sauce -the best
Barbecue chicken -4 succulent pieces of chicken , served in a skewer , placed over a small bbq dish , and 5 skewers to a portion.
Served with a sauce , it is large wholesome portion.
The crispy fried squids and shredded chicken in soya chilli were delicious.
The Pot Rice , fried rice and pan fried noodles -full of flavour
All the main course dishes were superb as well!
All in all- highly recommended
We went to the Oriental Blossom at Marine Plaza in a group of 8.
The ambience was nice and the decor was beautiful.
Since we were in such a large group, we ordered mainly starters.
We had some delectable barbecue chicken, some squids(I didn't like them much but the rest loved it), chilli chicken, and some diced pepper chicken.
For main course we ordered pan fried noodles, pot rice and fried rice with chicken and fish.
Food was brilliant, just a tad spicy.
Staff was really nice and kept serving jasmine tea, which was complimentary.
It was a worthwhile visit but the food was too expensive.
Definitely must try.
