Was there last night. Fantastic food and even better desserts especially the Paris-Brest(to die for). I want to thank the chefs for not “Indianizing” the menu.
Post 10:30 service gets a bit slow but it’s expected with the crowds on a Saturday night ( I don’t know about other nights).
The music was kickass. A good deviation from the regular stuff at most of the other joints. I Shazamed a few tracks to add to my collection and would love to ply the DJ for some more.
The crowd felt like the Bombay crowd of the old ( Cellers/1900s if you know what I mean)
Best place I’ve been to in Mumbai in some time now.
The food, ambience and service were exceptional.... it was like being in a gourmet house any where in the world.... one of the best Scallops I've had so far ..... only wish there were 4 rather than 2 on a plate !! I guess will have to come back for more. Congtrats Nick !!
This place is a true gem. Had dinner here and it was fabulous! If this restaurant was in Europe it would get 2 stars from Michelin. The French chef is so creative and the food simply sinful. Till next time
Very nice ambience, excellent food . Simply loved it. And I am also touched by the sweet gesture of the staff, who made my birthday extra special.
Loved the décor in the bar, the simple and quaint feel of the restaurant, the delicious cocktails and the delicious and unpretentious food. The staff was also super friendly and the place had a great vibe. Definitely going back!
I've been here four times in one month! I think we've tried pretty much everything on the menu. The food is outstanding and it's one of the only places in Bombay that does great cocktails.
I've read some of the reviews regarding the service and I do agree that its needs improvement but I also want to cut them some slack considering its a new place and they were genuinely busy on the weekends.
It's a fine place. A must visit for culinary enthusiasts. Mumbai is lucky to get such a good French restaurant. Keep it up.
My favourite place in Mumbai ❤️❤️❤️Excellent food , great service , unmatched ambience
Such good food and an amazing vibe. Recommend the Gin and Homemade Tonic, Pork Rillet, Steamed Rawas, Pork Belly, and all the dessert. Just order everything.
The team behind this place and their eccentric & energetic personalities erupt in the splendor that is Slink and Bardot.
Excellent! The food is divine - I recommend the seared scallops and the Brie en croute. And the martinis 🍸 shaken not stirred...
Definitely planning to return - though it is off the beaten track - but not that tough to locate thanks to Google maps...
Fantastic place with great food
Fabulous place. Loved the creme brûlée and the chocolate salted caramel. Now that we have gotten the desserts out of the way - the drinks were fab and the zucchini sphagetti was outstanding :-) so sexy, yummy and moody!
Top place! Amazing decor, non commercial music, great vibe!
Great spot for 35+. Lounge music. Good vibe. Great decor.
Excellent place to chill out...!!
Eat everything, drink everything. Amazing place.
Delicious food, impeccable service, beautiful decor and gorgeous cocktails!
Best. Food. Period.
Lovely ambience and bar too.
Must visit.
I had the loveliest time here, and I look forward to swinging by again when I'm in bombay next <3
Food was amazing ,delicious and nectarious
Can't wait for this baby to open its doors!
The most recommended dishes being Autumn Salad, Aubergine Steak and vegetarian Japanese Consommé. Boudoir Baby.
It’s a drink you would want to buy a drink for! Made from vodka, plum syrup, lime, egg white, cherry and vanilla bitters, you can taste the virtuosity flowing down your throat. The French fries were served with garlic aioli and sriracha aioli. Brilliant fries – perfectly uneven and crisp outside, not dry, soft in the middle. For dessert we had paris brest – choux pastry, praline mousse, caramelized nuts, caramelized bananas, rum ice cream. Each element was very enjoyable as it is and in permutations and combinations. The pastry was like a round hollow ball with a molten inside.
A French themed place with great ambience , unique aesthetically designed corners and amazingly curated fine dine menu!
We recommend the pulled chiken maki, Lobster & Swiss Chard Roulade
This place is located in Worli, Mumbai. Its a casual dining restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful and soothing as well. Seating arrangements are good. Crowd is also good. The staff was polite and explained all the dishes and drinks to us. The french food was delicious and quantity was satisfying. The prices are little bit high. Will visit again.
This place is a classic example of don't judge a book by it's cover. From the outside, it doesn't look like anything special, however, inside it's a lovely place. The decor of modern and cosy, it feels like home. We only had some wine and snacks, but they were really good.
Great option for weekend cocktails in Worli. Love the vibe and drinks and food.
To quickly summarize this quaint little classy fine-dine establishment tucked in an equally mellow Worli lane,
MUST HAVE the 36-Hour Belgian pork Belly - Cut like a charm, this glazy cube is what dreams are made of. Served with creamy polenta (which is a coarse porridge made from cornmeal) , and Pepperoni & Turtle-Bean Cassoulet (which is essentially a stew of beans and meat cooked in a casserole)
Tartines - The smoky salty chorizo, the crispy bread, and the bitterness from the kalamata olives was almost like a symphony
Assamese Black Rice Paella - This was a rather unique dish. Does not look very appetizing but it tastes very meaty and juicy. It has chorizo which was supremely scanty, clams, calamari, prawn, saffron. While this was comforting, would have definitely loved more chunks of the seafood in it
Specials (The Risotto) - Wonderfully creamy, not at al coagulated, and accentuated by the truffle oil, this was a delight
Truffle Oil French Fries - Uff! Divine stuff! The truffle aroma wafting in the air, and the flavor let by the same, dancing on the palate was a melody!
All in all, a very elaborate yet concise meal, haha! Put Slink on your list. Worth it!
Go figure!!

When you are in a mood for a cosy dinner and a few drinks, Slink and Bardot is the place to go to! The uniqueness of every single dish and strong flavours makes this place a must visit. Our recent visit to this lounge in Worli, made us fall in love with the unusual French-style food preparations.
Our review:Must go!👌🏻 What we ordered:
Beetroot carpaccio (must have)
Potato rosti (must have)
Hass avocado, ricotta, oven roasted cherry tomato tartine(must have)
Brie en croute
Mushroom volu-au-vent(must have)
Vegetable tagliatelle (must have)
Cheese plate(must have)
Black olive tapenade tartine (must have)
Gratin dauphinois(must have)
If you can get to this place without losing your way (or hope that something exists), you will be rewarded. An excellent selection of drinks and small plates. The tartines are to die for and being vegetarian isn't a problem. Confession - I love beets and the liberal use in a few dishes makes me very partial but this is one place I'd love to get back to.
Loved the ambience and the food. Gives a feeling of very contemporary being. We had a lovely evening. Ordered a Thai me up ( I think that was the name) loved the taste of Kaffir lime in it, so refreshing. Ordered some mushroom vol au vent and some tomato tarts both just melt in mouth. Lovely place to come back to.
The ambience is quite the winner here. Great collection of artsy books, beautiful murals and an overall cosy feel + I am told they have their own theatre. The food doesn't overwhlem, portion sizes are not large and hence, I don't know if it's the best worth of your money. Also, presentation has a few notches it could improve on, but the hospitality made up for what was deficient.

THE ONES NOT CAUSING HAPPINESS

EXISTENCE
“In France, cooking is a serious art form & a national sport” - Julia Child.
French cooking has contributed significantly to the Western cuisines & its principles’ are used widely
in Western culinary schools. Also, much of the culinary terms are heavily influenced by French language that makes French gastronomy as the world’s intangible cultural heritage according to UNESCO. Another fun fact is that France has the most number of Michelin starred restaurants throughout the globe.
Slink & Bardot’ is named after the French actress ‘Brigitte Bardot’, a sex symbol was known for depicting sexually emancipated characters that is evident from the restaurants décor and ‘Slink’ as the lighting & mood of the place is very sensuous. A restaurant-cum-lounge started by a French chef & Canadian restaurateur in 2017 to cater the food aficionados of Mumbai by adding one more restaurants serving French cuisine.
MATERIALISM
There is a huge contrast between the external surroundings of where the restaurant is located (by lanes of Worli) and the cheery & sassy Indo-European interiors that simply transforms you into a whole new different world. The décor is laced with all bubbly floral motifs dimly lit up with butter yellow coloured lighting with comfortable posh seating arrangement with a mix of chairs and sofa & a few abstract painting on the walls. The ambiance is very inviting and the aroma of the place is really pleasing that is ideal for a date night.
EGO MASSAGE
Nothing screams professionalism than knowledge! And the wait-staff at Slink & Bardot knew the dishes and the ingredients in it very well. They had a warm friendly personality that appeases the customer, nicely groomed with ironed uniform and they treated us in a very respectable manner. All our feedback and criticism were taken in a positive manner; they also cancelled a few items from the bill as they were not cooked properly. All the earthenware was replaced timely and the speed of the service was right up to the standard.
NOSH ‘N’ GROG
1. TARTINE SMOKED SALMON came up as cocktail nibbles in the form of tartine comprising of sour dough bread slices layered with sour cream, slices of smoked salmon and strips of cucumber garnished with stems of dill leaves. The bread was soggy but the protein was fresh and the toppings gave a good sour-y and mild melon flavours.
2. BRIE EN CROUTE was simply brie cheese stuffed in filo pastry sheets baked till perfection and topped with chips of toasted nuts and drizzled with organic lavender honey syrup. The texture of the pastry was crunchy; cheese was extremely soft with subtle earthy, nutty, fruity and sweet flavours and pleasant floral scent of the honey.
3. STEAK TARTARE came with a thin slice of toasted baguette and mustard ice-cream as an accompaniment that was stunningly decorated on the plate that was a treat to the eyes. It was made of raw minced meat that was properly seasoned having a soft texture and had a meaty taste well balanced with mild flavours of the ice-cream.
4. FRENCH FRIES were completely a disaster as it looked completely soggy and dry by its appearance itself. It was served in a bowl layered with truffle oil with herb & garlic seasoning and two different dips to accompany it. The perfect French fries are crispy golden brown from the outside and soft from the inside and these were nowhere close to it.
5. LOBSTER & SWISS CHARD ROULADE comprised of fresh lobster meat rolled in Swiss chard leaves braised with vanilla & citrus vinaigrette topped with apple compote and gremolata chips. The meat was tender and juicy with overall hints of sweet, sour, tangy and earthy flavours.
6. RED SNAPPER a LA MEUNIERE was made of red snapper fish filet that was cooked perfectly and dressed with Meunière sauce on top of brown butter purslane, dash of lemon juice, capers & dollops of skin less green grapes. The meat was melt-in-the-mouth and had a crispy texture but it had a peculiar fishy odour with overall rustic, mildly sweet, salty and sour of the ingredients combined.
7. MANGO PARFAIT was a classic French frozen dessert made of cream, egg, sugar and mango that was stunningly plated. It had a rich creamy consistent, sweet taste with a nice balance of mango flavours that made it simply irresistible.
SUBJECTIVISM
The pain of selling a kidney to pay the bill of Rs. 7,000/- for a meal for 2 at Slink & Bardot is still prevalent and since 2017 the prices have soared at almost 150% beating the inflation rate of some of the world’s worst hit countries. The portion size is tiny as originally it is served in France but the pricing is too steep; nonetheless the place uses superior quality food ingredients, the food presentation is stunning and the dishes are very modern making it worth a visit. However kitchen hygiene was a mystery as the insecure management turned down the request of allowing us to take a tour of the kitchen where all the magic happens but the dining area was spot less and clean.

Located at quite and free from bombay hustle bustle this place is all you want after a long busy day. Walking distance from worli sea face when you there you are welcomed by the gatekeeper as soon as enter their corridor you are welcomed by their manager who is really generous. Interior ambience are romantic and mesmerising. Perfect place for knitting memories. Staff is really polite, well trained and helpful. And you can really trust their recommendations. Last but not the least great food and beer....Je t’aime Slink& Bardot
I had a recommendation from one of my friend about this place, to be honest i just walked into the place with someone without any reservations. The manager was kind enough to offer us a table because the next reservation was at 10:30.
The decor is beautiful, it was soothing. The only downfall about the place was the music. After 10 the music was so loud that no one could talk.
Being a fine dine place this wasn't expected.
Coming to food we ordered Brie en croute for bar bites. It had french cheese stuffed inside filo pastry which was glazed with lavender honey for a sweetish taste with some walnuts and almonds served with a salad.
Coming to a french place and eating a cheese dish with a glass of wine is a must!
For main course we orderd Tomato and mozzarella tart and pappardelle.
Both tasted absolutely delicious, no doubts on that.
The tomato and mozzarella tart came in with a beautiful presentation on a plate which was so appetizing but the pappardelle was just mixed in a bowl and served in a steel bowl. IT ABSOLUTELY DID NOT FEEL WORTH EATING.
Although it tasted delicious, i expected some sort of presentation for a 400rs dish.
For dessert we ordered the paris brest, it was yumm. Its a must try. I won't ruin the surprise by telling the details but its a must try.
The service was good, the servers recommend you dishes if you need any help. They even give testers for tap beers.
Apart from the Music and that one dish i absolutely felt worth going.
Quick service. Friendly staff - comes to smoking zone to inform you when your food/drinks have arrived on table. Good music. Amazing cocktails - I tried penicillin. Good food.
Love the food and the vibe. Its a huge place with fun crowd ...from 20 to 50..Great place to be on a weekend evening. Been there several times, and never been disapointed.
This place is more of a romantics ones..
More of couples are around you so the one coming with family do think before going it'll be a lil awk.
Best for food no doubt.
The place has a vibe of restraunts which you wont feel everywhere..
Music makes a pleasant environment of munching food.
Staff is friendly🥰
Went there last week for drinks. The space has a great vibe once you get there. It’s looks a little suspect when your driving up to the place simply because of its location but inside it’s really nice. Haven’t eaten here yet but looking forward to trying the food next time
What vibes! Amazing! Such a wonderful place with mixed seating and food! The deserts were mind blowing yummy! Had a great time and liked the interiors and overall vibes here!
If crowded places where you hve to elbow your way appeals to you, go for it!!
We managed to get a table fortuitously. Food seems sensibly priced, but remember the portions are small. But Yumm!! Drinks were also very good. Service is good despite the crowd. Music is loud, so this is not a place for conversations.
Food- very good
Service- very good
Great place for a date night or simply some great french fare. Cant really tell how authentic the food is, but the taste is simply great!
The pork belly is a must try.
Ambience is elegant, classy, a bit noir and combined with the delicate but great food and a pretty great selection of wine, it is a must go.
An additional plus is that the music levels allow a good conversation. Goes with the idea of the food and experience offered.
One of my most favourite restaurants in Mumbai. The food is exquisite, the hospitality is warm and the service is exemplary! It's one of those places where you can't stop thinking about your meal for days after.
This restaurant is located in the bylanes of Worli Seaface, a little ahead of Worli Village. Classic French Dining restaurant. Although the portion was quite small but the food was exemplary. The Tartines, Panko Prawns were just perfect so had to call for it again. I was told by my friend to try the 36hour Belgian Pork Belly Roast and it was just out of this world. Definately worth the wait. The meat so soft that it actually melts in your mouth. In the end, had to scrape off whatever was left over.
Desserts were delectable especially the Poached Pear (Cinnamon jus not too over powering) & the Dark Chocolate Tartlette(perfectly balanced out; the caramelised bananas and the ice cream was too gooood)! Would definately visit again for the Pork Belly and the Dark Chocolate Tartlette!!
This place used to have some of the best food in Mumbai. It is still very good, but not as good as it used to be. We ordered the asparagus mouse, Brie encroute (spelling??), truffle fries, liver pate. The desserts however were absolutely spectacular: Paris Brest and the chocolate option. Presentation of the dishes and restaurant decor are always extraordinary which more than compensate for the approach, being located in a fascinating slum of Worli.
#5/5 #FrenchFood #Authentic #FirstStint
The taste itself justifies the rating however other parameters met the expectations as well...
§ Located close to Worli Sea Face...just a few steps from the main road...
§ The food was simply awesome!
*Vegetable Spaghetti* was all veg dish... veggies (Zucchini, carrots, leek, red pepper) sliced in thin spaghetti like shape and sautéed in basil oil... was as delicious as healthy! (recommend this) 😇
*Smoked Salmon Tartine* for fish lovers! The Salmon tasted fresh and juicy with just right smoking and served on toast with sour cream to give it perfect taste... 😍 liked this one as well!
*Gratin Dauphinois* was mainly a potato based dish... baked thin potato slices stacked up and binded using brie... with very thin flour layer sandwiching the potatoes layers... garlic cream gave it a nice flavor... served with green apple and lettuce salad...! Delicious it was! 🤗
For dessert went for sorbet... the Lichi and Rose combination was amazing but the essence was a bit on the stronger side...
Presentation of the dishes was good... However the portion were small... sharing would be difficult...
§ Staff was extremely courteous (no scuttling around unless called! u get to enjoy ur time at its best)...Mr. Proshit served us, we really enjoyed savoring his suggestions from the menu!
§ The interiors on the right side of the bar were amazing... some interesting books were available in the book shelf! 😎
The arrangements on the other side of the bar are modest... However the table setup and the lamps/lighting gave it a cozy touch...
Happy to visit! 😄
have been to his place few times Lovely place - great music- the food is yumm.. perfect weekend place to chill with friends.. just at times staff less attentive
The food is really good and worth its price. Many vegetarian options. The brit cheese dish and tomato with mozzarella is super yum. The drinks are very potent too. The Thai me up was my favorite with a ginger-y flavor.
The best part was my server Swapnil. He was super nice and enthusiastic-10/10 for him .
Even though it was a Saturday night and the place was packed we didn't wait too long for our food.
The music and ambience is definitely a huge draw.
The place is sort of inconspicuously located. Must be very cautious locating the place
Will definitely visit again
Loved the autumn salad . The vegetable spaghetti was awesome . So was the trout . And the signature dessert was very good .
Happy dining experience!
We finally made it here on this Sunday evening, and we will most definitely be coming back for more. This is truly an outstanding place for great food and service - top class dining experience.
Do note that while the portions are small, they clearly make that up with a lovely play on the palate.
We ordered 2 tartines - one with bell peppers and the other with mushrooms, an asparagus flan, clams & green lip mussels, Belgian pork belly and a potato gratin. For dessert, it was the Paris brest. For drinks, we had a sazerac and a apple basil tonic.
Each dish has a very distinct taste and is wonderfully balanced. It would be difficult to say which one was the best, but if one had to chose, it would be the flan, the gratin, and the Paris brest. The flan was an asparagus mousse with a potato foam - served cold - freshens up the mouth. The gratin was delightfully crusted and creamy inside. The Paris brest was a choux pastry with a medley of accompaniments.
The tonic was nice, but the sazerac was a bit too watered down, and I think they should use a darker whiskey base and a bit sweeter.
The service was warm - everyone starting with the car valet had a welcoming smile.
The interiors, spread across 4 rooms, had an interesting mix of comfortable lounges and sparse focused dining, with a mix of high seating. The hard floorings vary as per the room.
Pricing is about Rs. 1,300 a head without drinks. For the delectable food they offer, I would pay more.
A few suggestions - do offer an amus bousche. This restaurant deserves it! And do have a coffee menu - a meal as good as this, needs to end with a coffee.
Different French cuisine, serves authentic French with limited quantity and loaded with the cheese and French spices.
Must try Paris breast for desert.
This is the 1st time I have been here and I just fell in love with the place its got a cool vibe the music is spot on. Nick is a great host and adds charm and charisma to the place. Enough said now let's talk about the food. Had gone to try out there sea food menu which was spot on nice refreshing flavours keeping in with the French chefs style of cooking. Some of my favorites was the stater of the small fried shrimp 🦐 amazing. The sand lobster was super with the vanilla and citrus dressing. The juniper cured mackerel was nice. I did not much care for the smoked Himalayan Trout Tartare but the black clam and green lip mussels made up for it. Great place to chill and enjoy the food.
Brilliant food, excellent service, and a ceiling that elegantly yet steadfastly deviates from the prevalent industrial exposed piping-and-electricals laziness as well as the minimalist let's-leave-the-wood ceiling-as-is!
The irony of it all, I left the dessert un-photographed because we managed to attack it first. One of us on the table has had Anthony Bourdain's creme brulee and said this stands right up there next to it. (Mine had old monk for good measure!)
I'd also pit it in the same league as Bombay Canteen's gulaab nut. Heady in every bite right till the end!
Loved the music and the subtle scent of joy too. Don't be discouraged by the trek all the way up to the coast guard headquarters building through the fish market and Koliwada. All worth it!
Love the place and decor !
Great service and drinks on the menu .
Always a favorite to go to in Worli.
Tip to block a table as it's always buzzing even on weekdays.
This place is hard to find in the small lane of Worli village. It’s got a nice European restaurant ambience with lovely lighting, nice cocktails and delicious food. The staff is courteous however needs some training to answer the queries regarding food and drinks. Said that the chef was helpful to explain the ingredients and process of the recipe. Do try their Smoked salmon and chicken liver parfait. It’s yum. Did have the Red Snapper as well which was nice but the quantity can be better. The energy of the place is bit dull yet liked the place overall.
It was packed on a Weekeday night and that spoke about the place. Good and real European Good is far to come by in the city and perhaps that explained the crowd. We loved the menu and the way it’s was priced. Every things is small plated seemed like even the Main course . The prices seem small but the portion explain. The food is delicious and includes classics like dauphine potatoes and fried Brie .. meal for 2 2200
Such a cozy place with tasteful decor and interiors. Quick and efficient service from our server Fayyaz ensured we had a really good time.
We had our round of beers and Jim Beams with Brie en Croute, Autumn salad and Gratin Dauphinas.
The music was just apt for the evening, peppy yet the right decibel with the perfect lighting and ambience :)
Must visit!
Lovely place. The space is split up into sections, sort of like a house. The place had Christmas decorations put up which really added to the charm.
We ordered mulled wine and chicken with pappardalle, dijon and tarragon cream. The mulled wine was fabulous, especially since it had a hint of fruit juice in it, which lent it a refreshing flavour. Mulled wine isn't commonly found on menus in Bombay so it was definitely a pleasant surprise seeing it here. The chicken with pappardalle was done just right. The meat was tender but yet firm enough to cut into without it falling apart at the slightest touch.
The staff was great. There was someone to help people find their table which is needed in a place like this. Since it has separate sections, it can get a bit difficult to know which part one ought to go to. Staff members would come over promptly and were knowledgeable about the options in the menu. They were friendly without breathing down one's neck.
Just too good. Lived upto my expectations. The food was spot on and authentic. There was nothing i could complain. If u love french cuisine and are foodie this is a place to be.
Completely and utterly wonderful, drinks were amazing, food was amazing, and service was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The place to be on a Friday night I'm told. Nice cozy joint, with some good music, unique french appetizers, and beautiful people. Needs a couple of extra washrooms though. A constant queue
Beautiful ambience! It has the feel of an old Villa in Europe. The colour on the wall and the lighting make a great backdrop for taking photographs. The food looks and tastes good. The standout dishes of the evening during our visit were the beetroot, Walnut and goat cheese tartine, the red snapper meuniere, the aubergine steak and the Belgian pork belly. A special shout-out goes to the person who sliced and toasted the crostini that accompanied the steak tartare! The perfect ending to the dinner was the lemon tart with a lemon mousse so light, it felt like a cloud!
The only reason the review falls short of 5 stars is that the person who first took our drinks order wasn't trained too well, might have been new. Also, some of the portions were really tiny. Definitely worth a repeat visit though!
Perfect food and wine. Tried the cheese platter, pepper steak, pork and dessert. Great haven for expats. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive.
Only constructive feedback will be my request to the owner/ maître d′ to be a little warmer to the customers.
If you are looking for a French rendezvous, you belong here. Located somewhere near Worli Village, you need Gmaps to reach this place. Valet Parking is available, so you can focus on the drinks without worrying about “ Dude, Where’s my car ? 🙃. The place is totally French, it feels you are wearing a VR headset and are transponded into Paris. There is light English music, a perfect set-up
For a date night. Their style is tapas which literally means all the food portions are small. The Tartines, French fries and the Panko prawns were just perfectly made. The “ Vegetable Spaghetti” was just awesome. The dark chocolate dessert did not disappoint. The wines and the beers added the required colour to the night. We saw a lot of French guys dining at S&B, so that’s a live proof of the authenticity of the place. The ambience was unique and differently different. We were literally feeling like we are in France. Overall a perfect place for a special day :)
A great wine selection and simple French food was the winner for me. There should be more boutique places like this in Mumbai. A bit tucked away in worli but never the place a true gem. We were here on a Saturday night and loved it. Highly recommended if you like good food and vibes.
I chose Slink & Bardot for a quiet birthday celebration and it was such a lovely choice. The ambience can only be described as warm and inviting. It's location in the midst of the Koliwada I felt added to the charm. To begin with the service was impeccable.
Coming to the food, I started with the smoked salmon tartine. The salmon sliced beautifully and the hint of dill ensured we had a great start. Next up we went for the charcuterie board and the meat cuts went really well with the jugs of sangria we were consuming.
From the classics and contemporary menus we ordered red snapper muniere and steak tartare. Every ingredient was so fresh and beautifully cooked there weren't even crums left on the plate. We ended the meal with a complimentary birthday dessert which was yum. The combination of salted caramel and dark chocolate simply blew me away. Overall I absolutely loved what slink & Bardot is serving. I will be back soon to savour more!
Beautiful restaurant. Amazing original drinks and also best Moscow mule I've ever had. The steak tartare was delicious!! I highly recommend going here for a lovely dining experience and good food.
Tucked away in Worli Village, there is something so charming and unpretentious about Slink and Bardot.
From their tartness which have the most beautifully baked breads and fresh luscious toppings ranging from Smoked Salmon, Cucumber and Sour cream to Goat Cheese Beetroot and Walnut to their absolutely impeccable desserts ranging from Choux Pastry, Lemon Tarts to one delectable Dark Chocolate Tartlet, every thing is a visual treat while you devour. The Creme Brûlée especially is one smashing and cracking dish.
Often when I recommend this highly underrated restaurant, the first response is What will a vegetarian eat here. Some vegetarian favourites here include
1) Vegetable and Goat Cheese Terrine
2) Mushroom Tartine/ Beetroot Tartine
3) Autumn Salad
4) Quinoa Tabbouleh
5) Brie with Lavender Honey
Other than these the meaty dishes are so on point. Unfortunately they don't serve the Buffalo Cheeks any longer, but their Charcuterie, Steak Tartare, 36 hour Belgian Pork Belly and Red Snapper will win your heart
We celebrated my mums 60th birthday here and had a lovely time. The place, food, and service was fantastic and the separate area we got for our group of 15 was perfect. Special thanks to our server Faiyaz who was around the entire time and took great care of us, but at no point felt intrusive. Thanks!
It is a fancy place with chic painting on walls. The food is “petit” like in France so if you are looking for big portions it is not your place. I think it is a great place for “date night” with super romantic ambience and food. Love their sangria and dessert!
Awesome place i would consider as one of the speak easy bars in mumbai tucked in worli village. Nick and Alex run this place with great passion with signature french delicacies.very good cocktails, fantastic red snapper with easy listening music. high on pricing but worth .
Met a friend for drinks and appetizers. We loved the Gin and homemade tonic. The salmon bruschetta stuff was nice. Didn’t spend a lot of time there but liked the laid back vibe on a weeknight.
Excellent French food. Had gone for our anniversary. Great appetizers and bar for drinks. Service was excellent and great food. Great ambience.
Extremely attentive and friendly staff. Lovely ambience. Very good food. Small portions but just enough for a person - we had the goat cheese tartine, French fries and zoodles.
the decor and ambiance take you by surprise given the location, interesting menu and food presentation, the cocktails have interesting names such as ill have what she is having, the best papardelle i've had , would love to go back once more but hopefully when there is more vegetarian options on the menu.
One of the finest French restaurants in Mumbai, or should I say one of the only? Located in the small lane near the worli planetarium, this place sure is a hidden gem!
We almost called for every vegetarian item on the menu. One suggestion for them - add more vegetarian options and eggless desserts!
Here is a list of what we ate, and what I recommend-
1. Black olive tapenade, sundried tomato and pesto marinated mozzarella tartine
2. Truffle Oil French fries (highly recommend)
3. Garden of Argon -pea purée, falafel, glazed veggies and Argan oil (the pea purée was not flavoured well)
4. Truffles mushroom Forestière (recommended for mushroom lovers, and for a people who appreciate tangy tastes)
5. Cheese plate (highly recommended for all you cheese lovers- melt in the mouth cheese with warm soft bread)
6. Tomato and mozzarella tart ( did not live up to expectations as the tomato was a bit too hard)
7. Vegetable spaghetti (could be more flavourful)
8.Desserts- Paris Brest was the best dessert. We also tried out the creme brûlée and dark chocolate tartlette, which were equally yummy. (All with egg)
An overall satisfactory experience, and with each dish you come back wanting more. Beautiful dark and mysterious themed decor. A recommended place for a quiet and peaceful dinner date with friends or loved ones. However, I don’t think I will visit again until there is a revised menu, or new items added.
Stay hungry, stay happy!
The place feels like an elaborate house-party. It's lively, vibrant yet appropriately intimate. Beautifully done up, although I wish the waiters weren't in such a damn hurry all the time. But that also meant we got our orders fairly quickly, so I'm not complaining (too much). We ordered a mushroom vol au vent, aubergine steak, papardelle (and a repeat) and a piperade tartine between the two of us, all of which we loved but the tartine. The aubergine steak was nuanced and flavorful, the papardelle was absolutely delicious, which explains the repeats, I'd probably come back just for it. The tartine, however, was a major letdown. The bread was too tough and slightly burnt, the toppings didn't seem fresh. There aren't very many vegetarian options, but the few they do have seem like they're worth trying out. Going to come back for the cheese platter and the papardelle for sure!
A very nicely done French restaurant with a lively vibe. Went over on a Friday night and had a great time. The staff is a bit casual though and wasn’t too attentive but the food and drinks were pretty authentic and worth it.
Top top place. Loved the food, we had a charcuterie board, cheese board and chicken liver parfait. All really tasty and impeccably presented. Best of all the service was attentive without being invasive, unlike many restaurants in Mumbai I could actually serve myself. Thank you!
This place is always a delight to visit. It's an old bungalow that has been renovated into a restaurant. Hence, it's not a typical rectangular place. It's a bit of a maze with multiple rooms and nooks & corners. It all adds to the charm of this place and lends to its warm & fun ambience.
Food - Almost all the dishes on the menu are small plates. So try multiple things. It's hard for vegans as the chef here seems to love cheese. But my vegan friends did manage to delight in the vegetable spaghetti (no flour either) & gazpacho. My other favorite dishes are the mixed pepper tartines and brie with honey.
Drinks - Some very interesting cocktails. My favorite is the Aperol Spritz - It's better than all kinds I had in Italy (the place of it's origin).
What a space! at what kind of place? One would rather shy away from the location, but once you are there, you will be mesmerised by the design of the restaurant. The menu is eclectic french influenced and surprises you with everything that is ordered we celebrated a birthday with a large group and almost ordered the entire menu, must say was not disappointed with anything. After 11:00, the place just turned around. Will be visiting again for sure,
There is something about this place.. it makes you want to go back there again and again!!!
The cocktails are reallly good! The staff is extremely helpful and generous.. the tartine is my favourite thing there!!!!
Most amazing food ,ambience and excellent service.keep it up.the Mediterranean decor adds to the beautiful experience .have already been there three times but don't mind going at least once a month.
Slink and Bardot, the unique French restaurant located in the heart of Worli! They recently launched a new menu and it is nothing but spectacular! The area leading to the restaurant is a little shabby but the restaurant is something which Is very unique and something which should not be missed out on under any circumstances, it is a perfect example of ‘You should not judge a book by its cover’!!
The whole place is a beautifully decorated bungalow with light jazz playing in the background which made out dinner even more special!
So we started our night with a Cosmopolitan and Caipiroska..then moved on with the food, some of the dishes which you should not miss out on are:
1. The ‘seafood bisque’, each bite of it was an explosion of flavours!
2. The ‘mushroom vol-au-vent’, a unique puff pastry which should not be missed out under any circumstances!
3. ‘Red snapped à la meunière’ also a must try!
Cocktails such as
1. Caipiroska; a really strong cocktail consisting of Vodka, mint, sugar and lime is a must try!
2. Hazelnut manhattan
3. Thyme for an old fashion
Made our dinner memorable!
The highlight of our dinner was the dessert ‘Mont Blanc’ it’s something which you’ll not find anywhere in Mumbai, it’s made of Chestnut parfait, Rum jelly, Almond Sablé and Chestnut ice cream!!
Also, special mention of the co- owner Nick who welcomed us with a bright smile on his face and his amazing hospitality!
Also, very important is to have a reservation to this place, otherwise you’ll have to settle for the seat at the bar.
TheFoodPunch rates it 10/10

Best food in Mumbai currently HANDS DOWN! The pork belly was cooked to perfection and the Tagliatelle w Fish was diiiivine. The creme Brûlée was absolutely perfect, reminds me of a quaint little restaurant in the French Riviera
Had a great dinner experience. Portions are small therefore ordered a number of dishes for a group of five and each dish was different & excellent. For a fine dining experience prices are reasonable.
Simply Loved the food. Poor bar as 3 out of the 4 craft beers were out of stock.... same was the story with imported beers.
Beatific ambience though the place was absolutely empty being a Monday. .. only 4 tables occupied
Go for the food alone. And you have to have their liver pate, pork belly and tartines
A beautifully done up french restaurant in the most unexpected of places , great music and a lively vibe. If you like to experiment with different cuisines then Slink and Bardot should be on your list of must visits. The food is very authentic french , service is prompt and they have a fabulous bar to hang around at as well.
Edited after I actually managed to get a reservation: From the small alley you step into a different world. Elegant, not over the top. Casual and comfortable. The cocktails were pretty good and the asparagus flan and pork rateilles were great. The steak and the duck were also very good - cooked just right. The service was impeccable. I would only recommend that you order wine by the bottle as I'd suggest for every restaurant in India as open bottles are rarely vacuum stopped and stored right. We got the Fratelli Sette 2013 and it had been stored right - unlike what you'd find in most stores and restaurants in India. But when you are in a place like this, you expect them to do it right.
My first experience at trying to book a table was a disaster and that was why I gave it a poor rating earlier. Details here: Tried to book a table and was told they were full but they will call and met me know if something opens up. I asked if there was a bar area we could hang out and was told that there is. Thought that we could go anyway and worst case eat sitting at the bar. Just to check, called when we were on our way and was told it is a standing bar! Well, that should have been made clear when I first enquired. Wine menu seems very over priced. I get India has horrendous taxes on imported alcohol, but that still doesn't warrant $60-100 for $15-20 bottles of wine. Edit: got a message at 8:23 that I saw at 11pm that my reservation is cancelled as hold time was over! Wtf! If I did have a confirmed reservation, why not tell me when I call at 7:50pm!
In recent memory one of the best dining experiences I had. The place is inside a bungalow which is tastefully done up with minimalist decor which does not give it a clunky appearance. The food was the real winner in my opinion. We started with two appetisers, the Basil and Sun-dried Tomato Tartine and the Lamb Croquettes. Both were good but not something to write home about. The portions like most French places was on the lesser side but that I guess is fine against most comparable places. The real winner of the day was the 36 hour Belgian Pork Belly which is probably one of the best dishes I have had in my 5 years of Bombay life. Flavourful, melt in the mouth, juicy pork, paired with some Merlot felt absolutely divine. We also had the medium rare steak which was also top notch. Though after the pork it was a slight dip. Again, in comparison to other fine dines, this is slightly on the cheaper end of the scale so at the end of the day you get a nice feeling of not having spent a bomb too. The desserts also were absolutely brilliant with the Choux Pastry being the winner. An absolute must try. All in all a fantastic dining experience and I would love to visit again.
P.S.- a special shout-out to the lovely French owner of this place. He will ensure that you leave with a smile on your face.
Finally managed to go to this cozy restaurant. Relaxed and easy ambience where music plays loud enough for friends to have conversations... Had Churizo starter, yummmm. Called for a steak and chicken dish for mains... Impressive presentation.. Delicious and how.. Swapnil our server very sweetly served us a complimentary dessert.. Will definitely go back for more..
An old house turned into a lounge kinda place by a French chef. The place has amazing codes. This dim lit place has tiny portions of food worth each penny. The music is amazing the ambience is amazing. Never a sad night at slink
Bardot I could understand, but Slink? Until I was told short for Sealink. That's how the vibe is, a small town french bistro meets social Mumbai at a fishing village corner called Worli. One of my favourite places to visit for a night out south of Surburbs. Small portions decently priced, gives a chance to sample more. Drinks priced just right. Fab service and ambience.
This place is an unheralded gem in the otherwise hardly visited area surrounding Worli side of the sea link. I mean seriously, what purpose would you even go there but to make the u turn that would take you to your destination in the popular areas of SoBo. That problem is now old, welcome to Slink and Bardot. The name comes from Sea Link being pronounced as Slink by the cabbies and Bardot in French means playful sexy, as per co - owner Riyaz Amlani.
So what our visit was to celebrate a friends 29th, she is gonna kill me for revealing her age here. But it was one heck of an experience. Everything from the decor, the vibe of the place and the food was top notch. The overall layout divided into 4 sections, the cottage like setting being the dominant feel of the place. Each room has a separate mood though; starting with one having a full party feel, to the other with a relaxed lounge one complete with a bookshelf, the next being that of a intimate dining room and the last one having the feel of a private dining or party room.
For the food the following dishes stand out:
Cheese Plate - Yumness beyond repair, if you love cheese.
Chicken 64 - This one was my favourite
36 - Hr Belgian Pork Belly - For the love of pork, please go bonkers on this
The Herb and Garlic French Fries and the Mushroom Fritti are great too...
The standout part about this place is, that it is not too heavy on the pocket; one of the places that makes Mumbai a true food capital of the world. Who would have thought we would get French Food too and an iteration which is true to its taste and is easy on the pocket too...Visit it asap...
A lovely speakeasy located in an unassuming part of Worli, the moment you enter Slink & Bardot, you are engulfed in the aroma and sounds of the atmosphere that they have created here. It’s a large space that’s broken down into smaller rooms. The ambience is cozy and it is a dimly lit space for most part.
The drinks and the food were absolutely on point. Although the prices were on the expensive side, it is worth the quality and the service. I had a gin based cocktail and my partner had a smoky whiskey cocktail, and both were perfect. The food and the dessert they recommended were phenomenal as well.
Came across this place on 50 Best Discoveries.
Trust me, it clearly is in the Top 10 of Mumbai. Chef Ali Baldiwala created magic. Best tasting menu experience we’ve had in Mumbai. Perfect blend of regional flavours with global touch.
The Koliwada inspired 7 course meal is mind blowing. The Barramundi Ceviche with Solkadhi broth is out of the world and the puran poli tres leches will leave you wanting for more!!
The bar is well stocked and has amazing options for cocktails.
Ideal place to visit with family and friends.
Highly recommended.
Very good food and lovely old style interiors. Went for lunch on a Sunday and was quite empty though. Tried the steak as well as some nice cocktails. Is on the expensive side but worth a try.
The one big -ve is the entrance which is quite sad and diff to get in the lane as it's very small.
Excellent cocktails and food, very very good service from the valet to the persons guiding and serving us. Heard a lot of good things about this place and it comfortably met all our expectations.. Definitely visiting again.

The ambiance at Slink & Bardot is chic and sophisticated with a cozy and welcoming vibe. The decor is inspired by French bistros with vintage light fixtures, classic checkered flooring, and plush seating. The restaurant also has an outdoor seating area that offers a beautiful view of the city.
The menu at Slink & Bardot features a range of classic French dishes, such as escargots, steak tartare, and bouillabaisse, as well as some modern and innovative dishes. The restaurant also offers a range of vegetarian and vegan options. The food is known for its exceptional quality, with dishes that are expertly prepared using fresh and high-quality ingredients.

Our trip here made for a lovely date night and a fond memory. Highly recommend and will certainly visit again.
The intimate ambiance is the main attraction of this establishment. Imagine New York speak-easy, expect better in my personal opinion. I would suggest in terms of music they book artists that play intimate/lounge style. That would make it a perfect place to be on a Thursday or Friday night.
Also appreciated the food selection, I enjoy the Sichuan Friend chicken that's a must get. The bartender also made me an enjoyable, Whiskey sour that was reasonably priced for such a posh environment
