Good food with the great taste. Every dish tried was tasty and worth a try. As the name suggest the restaurant is good with all the Punjabi dishes. The only problem faced was the waiting time between 2 dishes.
This restaurant is known for it's heritage structure as it has a beautiful interior and ambience .
It is known since the 90's. It offers a range of menu right from vegetarian to non vegetarian items been included .
The must try item here is the variety of kebabs they offer which is grilled in a sigri and smoked with the flavour of coal .
Also the main course has a variety of dishes but the most recommend is the mutton dishes which they prepare in the red and green gravy.
Also they have a range of drinks offered and also a lots variety in breads and rice.
The staff is courteous enough and is spacious enough.
One the oldest family restaurant in Dadar East.
Visited this place twice in last two months.
Food is delectable and reasonable.
I must not forget to mention about waiters. They are quite polite.

Legendary , despite the more prominent Pritam Da Dhaba next door.
If you visit here , you get polite staff that’s been around for long, a clean though congested ambience and some of the best Punjabi / North Indian food outside of Dilli.
Having lived in the vicinity for over 20 years , I have had the opportunity to try almost all their meat preparations (who comes here to eat veg food ?) and barring a few personal preferences , have always loved it!
The only annoyance is their inconsistency with the tandoori rotis - there are times when I feel it’s a mix of atta and maida or not cooked right but they always have changed it so I am not too fussed.
Great food. Elegant main course, decent chaperones, comfortable ambience. Recommended for all types of dine outs: family, friends, colleagues, couples.
Great hotel as located t Dadar area ane its almost near to dadar station around 5 mint and when we enter in that hotel so much space are there and food quality was awesome furnish aslo very well settle down and u can must try tandoori which made in different way. Each cocktail is best. Silent place mind fresh over there.
I often visit this place just to have their signature dish lahori kebab. It is basically lollipop pieces fried in ghee and on top poured with Kashmiri gravy which is very rich in taste. They have authentic taste of this dish from past few years. Quantity of food was ok in non veg dish the chicken was properly cooked. Service was Good. Ambiance was good. Had ordered Chicken Malai kebab. Taste was also Good. The Tava Mix vegetable with Tandoori roti is Great in Taste. The show stealer was the sitaphal Basundi. Lovely delicious Basundi with sitaphal pieces.

This is an amazing hotel ....i have tried hara bhara kabab there ..the taste of the food is well n good we have also tried chicken bhuna ghost must try it
We always visit this place just to have their signature dish lahori kebab. It is basically lollipop pieces fried in ghee and on top poured with Kashmiri gravy which is very rich in taste. We are having the same taste since 2 decades. This time we also tried baked gol gappa which was something new we all liked. We are dissapointed with the new staff which behaves rudely and force you to order food fast so they can their bus. And while leaving they ask for tip on your face.
Visited in lunch time..Nice place .. chicken panipuri superb.. had chicken biryani was tasty.. corn tikkii also yummy.. overall good tasty food.

Gooduisine Awesome food Superb service The egg masala in Great Punjab is xcellent and one of my favourites from the various restaurants in which I have had one
If u want to have only food without watching here and there, then its a good place to visit coz food taste and quality is very good. staff looks rude and arrogant - may be coz of their age as all waiter are above 45 or may be more than that. Interiors are just average

Always a pleasant visit. Have been visiting since 8years and it's maintained it's quality and improved the interiors alot! The ambiance is great and the food is too good, not too heavy not too light. Just perfect and tastyyy! Must visit. Every dish is great so all are my favourite. The cream of chicken soup, though, is one of the best ones I have had. The staff(even the valet parking uncle) and owners are polite and nice and it's a nice place to dine with family and friends
Since my childhood I have visited this restaurant on very few occassions. Since it is far from the location of my residence, visits have been ad hoc. Though my parents during their childhood have also been here. This restaurant is since 1959. They extend delicious food and neat and clean ambience. It also serves hard-drinks. One can taste the Punjabi way of cooking gravy dishes. Chicken seekh-kebab is a complete no no. Service staff is old and needs to be quick. Starters are good and so is the main course (Punjabi Style).
This place never seizes to surprise me. I have been visiting this joint as a kid and the food taste and service has been the same. The Lahori Chicken is to die for. The prawns Koliwada is again amazing.
During winters the sarson last saag with a dollop of white butter and Makkai Ki roti must not be missed. Also the butter chicken. The tutti frutti or the malai kulfi is a must to end the meal.
Always a great place to go out with family. Super great service. Really amazing food. One of my favourite dining restaurant in that area. 😊
Been here last night and was very amused by the hospitality of the staff and the valet.
Mile jule kebab is a must try. Achari mutton is the best for mutton lovers. For dessert you must try the golden fantasy. The restaurant is value for money.
Decided to give this place a try for a family dinner and did not regret it!
We tried -
1. Chicken lahori kebab which is a must try!!!! Fried chicken lollipops tossed in lahori gravy.
2. Chicken achari kebab was decent. Spicy and perfectly marinated but we preferred lahori!
3. Chicken peshawari masala was a great textured gravy with generous chicken pieces and a blend of best spices. This accompanied by hot whole wheat tandoori roti was a complete package!
A meal for 3 in 1300 inclusive of gst is definitely easy on your pockets!
Cheers!
Great Punjab is actually great for Punjabi food. Wide range of variety of food you will find here. Different types of kebabs and tandoori items are speciality of this restraunt.Ambience is very good & accomodation capacity is very large. chicken tandoori is must try here & other tandoor items as well. Rotis/naan are soft here accompanies very good with you gravy's. Main course here is also very good chicken peshwari, chicken tikka & everyone's favourite chicken makhani aka butter chicken is must try here. Chinese items also tastes very good here. Overall a good restraunt in Dadar East vicinity.

Great Punjab is a great place to have Punjabi food. The place serves Chinese cuisine too.
The service here is undoubtedly good. Ambience is nice, too. Butter Chicken is the best dish I've had here. Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken biryani are also nice.
A week of hectic activity in making a bare apartment livable included receiving online orders, sourcing basic furniture, bedding, and the getting gas & electric supply connections. In the midst of all this, we found ourselves in the vicinity of Dadar furniture market. It was later than we realised, and there was more to do in the same area. We decided to have lunch nearby and were directed to the Great Punjab restaurant.
The restaurant is prominently located on the main road, the interiors and uniformed wait staff recall the legacy of the place, said to be in existence since 1959. We were led to the seating area overlooking the arterial road, thankfully the views had been embellished with well maintained plants. There was just one other table occupied, so we got to choose a relaxed seating. The wait staff was helpful and attentive.
We started with Kingfishers and ‘fish tikka’ while perusing the menu for further orders. Lunch was ‘Veg Kadhai’ and ‘Chicken Lasooni’ with tandoori rotis on the suggestion of the waiter. The mixed veg preparation in a thick smooth and soothing gravy, the boneless chicken in a nice garlicky base and the fresh rotis transported us to Delhi’s food culture, which is exactly what we were looking for.
The restaurant is a good place for North Indian food and the rates are pretty reasonable too. Our food bill for two persons including beer was within two grand.
A decent restaurant located below the dadar tt bridge, serving some of the unique dishes.
The ambience offered by the restaurant is classy along with comfortable sofa sitting.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of the indian cuisine, having a punjabi stronghold over all its dishes
We ordered their signature dish the nonveg( chicken) golgappa along with lahori kebabs. The golgappas were absolutely amazing which immediately brings a smile on your face as soon as it reaches your mouth.full marks for their golgappas as they as definitely vfm for which they are offered. However the lahori kebabs were just deep fried chicken lolypops tossed in spicy garlic chilli sauce and were too oily for my liking
Maincourse opted by us was butter chicken aling with lahori sabzi which were both decent and went well with the naan
Overall a satisfying experience with a report of

Good food! Good service! Nice ambience! Chicken biryani and tandoori was too good! Very good place! Lives up to it's name! Very satisfied with d outing!
I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. The food has always been exceptional.
I ordered delivery tonight after ages. Much of the food was as good as I remember it to be. That being said, the Vegetable Dum Handi Biryani that I ordered for the first time ever, had to be the most displeasing Biryani I have ever had in my life. I was quite disappointed.
Everything else was really good
Always a pleasure going to this place. However the recent visit on 2nd June, turned to be not so good experience with the ordered food, esp the mirchi murg masala. It was tasteless, however was recommended by the staff....
Being located near dadar station there is little parking issue for the hotel .The place is famous for chicken dishes .Ambience was good .The quality of food is very tasty and quantity was excellent .I went along with my office college for treat.Must try chicken lollipop ,chicken tandoori and malai chicken .Must go once ... Recommended....
During my recent weeklong visit to the maximum city, days had been truly hectic with a whole lot of mundane businesses associated with setting up a new household. While shopping for the furniture and mattresses et al at Dadar East, the pangs of hunger had forced us to look for a decent eatery around for a delayed lunch. We gravitated to Great Punjab located on the main thoroughfare with an impressive façade and declaration of its legacy ‘since 1959’!
I am sure the interiors have gone through much refurbishments and reincarnations since the restaurant’s inception in 1959 as they have changed with the times. We escaped the muggy afternoon and took refuge into a mildly air-conditioned space with swanky glass partitions. We asked for a full bottle and a pint of Kingfisher and a portion of ‘fish tikka’ as the starter. For the main course, we ordered a portion each of ‘veg kadai’ and ‘chicken lassoni’ to go with ‘tandoori rotis’ with a special request to tone down the oil and spices. The mixed veg preparation served in mild gravy and boneless pieces of chicken cooked in garlic sauce were savoured by two of us. And the total bill of Rs.1717/- for a rather heavy lunch added to our delight.
Tasty food and great service! The best place for Punjabi food lovers!Prices are reasonable which is another plus factor! Ambience is good, clean and washroom to my surprise very clean & tidy! All in all truly "great" experience.

I have been visiting great punjab since my childhood and the taste still remains the same 2 decades later. Some of the must try dishes are the veg punjabi golgappa, (it's a golgappa with a twist of their own), the paneer tikka (it is very soft and melts into your mouth). You also must enquire about the specials for the season as they have some interesting dishes.
Been here quite a number of times. Chicken Shorba, Chicken biryani, Garlic Kulcha, Pineapple Raita, Butter Chicken is my fav here. Good complementary nibbles too....
Absolutely loved my dining experience at Great Punjab Restaurant And Bar! The ambiance is welcoming, and the staff is incredibly attentive. The dishes are flavorful, especially the butter chicken and naan bread. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. Will definitely be returning!
The Great Punjab and Bar in Mumbai offers a delightful fusion of Punjabi flavors and a vibrant bar atmosphere. The extensive menu boasts authentic Punjabi dishes, each bursting with rich spices and authenticity. The cozy ambiance and attentive service enhance the overall dining experience. Whether you're a fan of robust curries or creative cocktails, this restaurant strikes a perfect balance for a memorable evening out.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Great Punjab Restaurant And Bar, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From start to finish, everything about this restaurant was exceptional.
First and foremost, the ambiance was delightful. The soft lighting and elegant decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel instantly relaxed. The attention to detail in the restaurant's design was truly impressive.
The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and they made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire meal. They were more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had.
Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was nothing short of art. The menu had a diverse range of options, catering to various dietary preferences.
It's a place where you can savor not just food but an entire experience. The combination of exceptional service, beautiful ambiance, and outstanding cuisine makes it a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. It's clear that the chefs and staff take great pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience. I absolutely love the chicken golgappas at Great Punjab. I remember that they were the first ones to come up with this delicious twist to golgappas, and ever since I’ve been a fan. Great Punjab is our go to place with the team and family. The new bar is very well done up and inviting. Will visit soon. Kuddos team Great Punjab.
I've been to this restaurant several times and have consistently enjoyed the chicken golgappas, Tawa Kheema, and caramel custard. There are quite a few things that I liked about this place. This place is old, like very old, and they've tried to maintain it's heritage. The ambience is good, typical old mumbai style feels. The staff is very cooperative and friendly. Right from the durban to the waiters. Plenty of options available in veg and non veg as well. Ordered a tawa kheema which was tasty and caramel custard was a game set and match.
Great food, great service, always like there chkn lollipops, cheese cherry pineapple, fish tikka, prawns biryani.
