Beautifully packed tasty and mouthwatering food. With ample variety to choose from. Highly recommended!
The food is great . Especially the cheese cake. Cheers:-)
I have been ordering from the Café free India since last year, I am a fan of their thupka soup and sandwiches.
Thupka soup, it is clear and thin soup with noodles and vegetable broth. It was garnish with spring onion. It was a wonderful soup. The noodles were thin and had just right taste of the broth. I enjoyed the soup.
Spinach corn cheese sandwich; the spinach was sautéed to the accuracy; corn was sweet and melted cheddar cheese. The combination had an amazing taste. Each bite was full of lip-smacking cheese. The sandwich was grilled to the perfection. It was accompanied with French fries. The sandwich was quite filling.
Recently I found out they have Thai curry on their menu (Exotic veggies Pot Curry)
Thai Curry is my favourite, few days ago I ordered Red Thai curry from them, it was one the best Thai curry I had ever tasted. Curry was thick with coconut milk. There were exotic veggie and cubes of paneer. It was a wonderful combination.
V good pepperoni pizza, though the pepperoni could have been crispier. Maybe the guy was eager to make our order since we were waiting on site. Veggie pizza with green chillies is too good. I picked up the food from their restaurant at Lower Parel. Good clean and well kept with prompt service. Came in just because they use Kodai cheese and imported pepperoni.
Kids wanted to eat pizza. Due to lock down and prevailing covid conditions i could not dare to take them out. Hence i decided to order pizzas from cafe free India.
Cafe Free India is one of my favorite cafes in Bombay. The food quality is always excellent whether you’re dining or ordering in. I like their clean and secure packaging for deliveries as well.
Cafe Free India has been a big savior to me during the lockdown - delivering perfectly in all situations. I must particularly mention the efforts of Mr. Surjeet Singh, who goes above and beyond to make sure that no customer is disappointed.
The price point being a little high this cafe serves all kind of dishes. As the name suggests the cafe gives you a sense of freedom when you lose yourself in the drool worthy food. Do try out these dishes-
Cheese corn nuggets
Cheesy Nachos
In a World of Schooling and Integrated Studies You are my Oreo Shake Break the best oreo shake in town and burger is awesome if have recmend this place to my most of friend.
A truly moist red velvet cake

Cafe Free India is an awesome place to be anytime of the day but we seem to prefer it late at night after a movie at Matterden right opposite. We love the ambience and the interiors which are tastefully designed as well as the service and the food. All in all a great place for some great food and a great experience.

Cafe free india is good place to hangout with friends in lower Parel. This place had a live music with good quality of food .I have been there many times with my friends . The service is quick and humble staff. I tried here pasta, pizza and fries. The taste was delicious! The pizza was cheesy and delicious in taste .fries and pasta was also yummy. Overall experience was great.Must visit this place!!
If you like draught beer, this might be the place for you. If you like a peaceful drinking might, this might be the place for you. If you like good live music once in a while, this might be the place for you. And if you like a great chicken burger, this is the place for you (Juicy Lucy Chicken Burger). One of my favourite chilling spots, this place is bound to win you over. Do give it a try!
Cafe Free India located just opposite One Indiabulls Centre is the place to be if you are tired after a long day at work. They have excellent live music scenes on Thursday and Saturday. The food is lipsmacking and the staff is very helpful. Shout out to the manager, Mr Surjit who takes special interest in customers who walk in on regular basis. In the photo is their charcoal bun veg parmigiano burger. 😍
This is a place where a facebook group i am a member of decided to have a pre Christmas brunch. It's a small cozy place with an amazing live band, very retro wall hangings and posters, amazing staff and superb food. We had a number of mojito's and sangria pitchers along with beers. There were a number of appetizers that came along, some spectacular and others that were better than average. The chicken nuggets and bruchetas were awesome. In the main course we had a couple of chicken and vegetarian dishes that were very good. The butter chicken was fairly good and it stayed in my memory for a long long time. The best thing about this place was the live band and the decor. The amount of old posters and witty frames. Very reminiscent of the old Irani places from South Mumbai. The band was very very talented, especially the singer. The range of her voice is amazing. All in all, it's an amazing place and one that I would make it a point to go several times this year. The ambience is very laid back, comforting, cozy and welcoming. Kudos to the team Free India Cafe....
Went to Cafe free India for Friday lunch. Explored the place for the first time. Food was good, really liked chicken jalapeno cheese nuggets.
#Very good option to eat out of your are looking for something near by your work.
Loved the place, the setup, the decor, live music... WOW!! Food is great as well
So last weekend we had our Christmas bash at Cafe free India.
Located at a distance of 7 mins from Lower parel. The place is easy to locate and has an amazing cozy ambiance. Do check out the frames they've put up 😅
Service was warm, courteous and must say, the staff is super helpful.
Food & drinks I tried:
•Blonde beer: Subtle light and its one of the best ive had in a long time
•Red wine sangria: A definite must have.
• Mojito: Subtle, strong and perfectly balanced.
• Black coffee: Again a must try.
• Eggs 3 ways: Simple homey plating and beautifully done eggs
•Chicken brusetta: Light, filling and loved the chicken preparation.
•Chicken pizza & burger are a must have.
• Baked brocolli cheese: Loved their preparation of the same
Well this is is just like an old cafes . Ambience, feel of cafe is old style but with modern touch. Felt like I was sipping a beer in an cafe from 1940’s totally loved the place. No glitches at all.
And last thing live music just takes this cafe to next level of fun.
Surjeet who took care of our table was beyond expectations. Kudos to him. Thankyou for such nostalgic experience guys.
Had heard so much about this place on instagram and Facebook. That i said i should try it out. I orderd through Zomato got a discount which some how did not translate on my bill. Getting back to rhe Burger it was excellent.... Moist juice the mayo was well made rhe breqd was soft the mushrooms nicely grilled... I loved it. It was called the God Father.... And when the delivery guy saw me he said the burger suits you.... You look like the God Father.... Lol. I would love now to vist this place someday.
I like the veg. French onion soup and veg. Thupka that they make. Haven't had either dish at a different place, so can't compare. Their red sauce pasta was also really tasty.
Dal makhani was decent. Really liked the laccha paratha. It took time for preparation, but was super soft and tasty (no for those watching their calories though).
They have a bunch of sassy, quirky quotes put up.
Very nice place! Absolutely cool environment, the food is good and the service too!
Always a great time there. The team at Cafe free India is great and friendly thanks to Surjeet.
I had seen this restaurant so many times when I used to visit Deepak Cinema. Even in the Zomato, Cafe Free India had very good ratings and so I decided to give it a visit with my friends.
Interiors of the cafe are very good with walls filled with pictures and funny quotes. But the tables are very small and so difficult to sit and keep food if you are more than 2 people. The service is good and fast but at the end of the meal, the waiter did not bother to ask if the water glasses should be filled again or not.
Chicken Jalapeno Cheese Nuggets: This was very different from what I was expecting. It was more like a chicken paste which is deep-fried in a thick batter. Jalapeno was nowhere to be seen and we only found a slightly spicy aftertaste. So the taste did not have prominent flavors of chicken, cheese or jalapeno. The sauce given along was very good and it made the nuggets taste better. 3.5/5 on taste:
Penne with sundried tomatoes and broccoli in garlic cream: On 1st byte itself you can taste the garlic flavor, not in a very overpowering way. Brocolli did not add much to the flavor but was a nice addition. 4.5/5 on taste.
Chicken Shepherd’s Pie: It was like a minced chicken topped with cheese and mashed potatoes. The chicken inside was tasting very good but taking the byte with the top part gave a prominent flavor of the potato. 3.5/5 on taste.
The Godfather Burger (chicken): The burger was huge in size and filled with 2 chicken patties and a fried egg. Also, it had mushrooms, smoked cheddar cheese, onions, and tomatoes. The patty was juicy and so was the burger overall. The taste was also very good. 4.5/5 on taste.
Crispy Chilli Prawn Burger: It was having big sized prawns, most probably tiger prawns. But the prawns had a weird flavor to it. It was almost giving a stale taste. This was noticed by even one more friend of ours. I have such palate for prawns that just by a single bite of it I make out if it is good or not. And this one was not good. The overall taste of the burger was good but not something I would like to order again. 3/5 on taste.
Overall a good experience with this restaurant but I was left a bit underwhelmed.

I don’t know from where should I begin to review this amazing cafe. We had our team lunch at this super cool place and had a gala time filling our hungry souls there. To start with I am in love with this place for its quirky savage ambience with wity signs and slogan and quotes which itself makes the place so cool. As far as the food is concerned I found it quite delicious and tasty. The service also was on time since we went in the peak hours and thought it’d take some time but no. A happening place to chill with your office colleagues and friends in the afternoon and evening. Big thumbs up to cafe free India
Cafe free India is located at 10-15 mins walkable distance from Prabhadevi station opposite to Deepak theatre. The Cafe has got classy ambience with good amount of seatings for groups, couple, meetings as well. It was pretty aesthetic interior wise.
Staff service was prompt and they comforted us with thier hospitality. The staff are well mannered and polite, they always toggle their eyes to help anyone over their.
Now Coming to the food and drinks we ordered following :
👉🏻Godfather burger - God father burger consisting of two big patties. Burger is larger in size that one person alone cannot finish it at one go.
👉🏻Chicken Manchaw Soup - The perfect soup which was minced with Chicken which was heaven for all soup lovers.
👉🏻Hakka Nuddles : It was so delicious. presented very nicely.
👉🏻Orange mojito: 🍹 A refreshing drink for sure! The sweet and tangy ness of lime and orange definately made my find relaxed and every sip was unique in itself
👉🏻Red velvet shake : 🥤 This is the first time I tried red velvet flavour, the presentation was so cute to see with whipped cream on top of a crispy disc.
👉🏻Chilli Garlic Prawns: 🍤🍤 Prawns were the best prawns I've ever had in any restaurant fresh and big prawns stir fried with chilli garlic sauce and the texture was nice and flesh was perfectly cooked.
👉🏻Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream: 🍦🍨 The chocolate brownie was way too yummy than my expectations.
One of the best brownie I've ever had at a cafe 🍫🍫
It was a pleasure visiting this cafe and a bar for leisure time alongwith your family and friends 🤩
A place to talk your heart out to your loved one easily located and feel good place for sure!!!🤩🤩🤩

A great Ambience good grub!
I had broken my leg and still didn't want to miss the experience of this place. It's one of my favourite places to chill out in a Friday mood with my buddies.
Let's start with the ambience, it's beautifully done and the wall posters will crack you up for sure! Coming to the staff, quite prompt and polite, no complaints at all.
Their menu has a wide range of food and alcohol which is enough to get you confused on what to order.
We tried the Peri-peri pizza which I would rate a 7/10, the chicken was tender and the crust was thin but the cheeses could have been more. The Juicy Lucy chicken burger was great, Chicken fingers and their dip was the best and then the Chicken Thukpa soup was the best one I had ever tried.
The only issue is the car parking, but like they do have options to park the car in MCGM pay and park option but that's a little far from this place but reachable by walking distance or yeah you can be the smart one and take the cab!
In all, a great place!
Cafe free India has a really interesting interior. Food we order was delicious. They have unique quotes hanged up.
Southern fried chicken burger is amazzing and my favourite . All the non veg burgers are too good. Yet to try other stuff.
Went for a quick bite to Cafe Free India. The place is very nice and beautiful. Outside view is also attractive and pleasant. Got the pizza and onion rings both were tasty.
Good staff and nice customer service. I highly recommend this place.
I visited Cafe Free India with my friends, a mind blowing lavish spread you cannot resist. Restaurant which serves great Food and it’s the best. The ambiance is great with a rich and comfortable atmosphere, which perfectly fits the name of the Restaurant. The service provided by the staff is great as they are courteous and very helpful. The food is served very quickly, it only takes a couple of minutes for the order to arrive. The food served is prepared in a way to compliment the origin of the dish. All the dishes are worth the try. The service provided by the staff is much appreciated.

The retro styled cafe which has got authentic Indian dishes, accompanied with Italian. The Cafe have very limited seatings but very comfortable on other hand. They got the small bar setup ahead of the kitchen area.
While their menu has lot of options you might get confused what to have so as I
Still i figured out some of the best one :-
1. Thupka Soup (4.5/5) - This is a Tibet format of soup which might not be loved by everyone but i just loved the taste. It will make you feel the essence of Hillside specifically Himachal.
2. Spicy chicken fingers (4.5/5) - Crisp chicken fingers served with cheese dip was crafted well and taste was good.
3. God Father burger (5/5) - As the name goes it was a heavenly chicken burger with omlete sandwiched between two chicken patty and served with some crisp fries. It's a huge burger which will surpass any hunger.
4. Oreo shake (4.2/5) - Though it was a good try but not the best of Oreo i had so far.
5. Orange mojito (5/5)- This was just exceptionally great, bcuz no one expect much from a mojito but this was lit.
6. Chicken biryani (2/5)- As I'm a huge biryani fan, trying biryani was a disappointing decision since there was no taste as i expected trying their other dishes.
7. Chocolate mousse (5/5)- This was a rum flavoured mousse chocolate cake which was great

So here is my visit to one of best retro styled cafe located at prime location near to Kamala Mills Compound (opp to Deepak theatre ). The Cafe has got classy ambience with good amount of seatings for groups, couple, meetings as well. You can mostly find it crowded with office workers.
The staff are well mannered and polite, they always toggle their eyes to help anyone over their.
The menu covers almost every thing ranging from pizzas, burgers, pasta, Indian mains which includes biryani, curry and more.
Now coming to order, I have tried ordering most of them as we went in a group of 4 people.
1. French onion soup (4.5/5) - The perfect soup which was minced with Chicken and creamy texture on top of onion which was heaven for all the Cream n Onion flavour lovers.

3. Peri peri Chicken pizza (3/5)- The thin base chicken pizza with a good taste but their sauce can be improved
4. Red velvet shake (5/5) - This is the first time I tried red velvet flavour, the presentation was so cute to see with whipped cream on top of a crispy disc.
5. Oreo shake (4.1/5)- I have tried many Oreo shake because it's my favourite, though this was not that great but still it was ok.
6. Chicken Biryani (3/5)- I was craving for biryani and so i thought to try this, it was tasteless for me with no spice or nothing just a normal rice with chicken ( that wasn't soft as well).
7. Goey chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream (4.2/5)- Lastly I ended my meal with this dessert which was amusingly tasty 😋

A cozy place to enjoy good food and drinks with your loved ones. The decor of the outlet is very beautiful. You will enjoy the decor as you read the quotes on the walls of cafe. You will find many antique pieces and frames all over the cafe. Its old style interior with comfort seating.
We happened to visit this cafe and order the following :
Chicken manchow soup : It turned out to be very tasty. It was served in huge bowl sided with lots of crisp noodles. It was pretty good in taste.
Also we tried chicken Crispy for starters and it tasted good as well.
GodFather burger : we opted for chicken burger. The patty was crispy from outside and also had egg inbetween the burger. Tastewise it was good.
Drinks were on point.
We tried their kitkat shake, it tasted good. It was more of chocolate and served cold and thick.
We tried orange mojito, a perfect refreshing drink.
For dessert we opted Gooey chocolate brownie with icecrem.
It turned out to be super delicious.
The texture was soft and perfect and tasted amazing.
It was served hot with vanilla icecream.
A perfect dessert to end your meal.
Overall its a good place to chill.

Loved the place in terms of ambience, service and some of the food items. I tried mojito, nachos which were very good. The prawns that I had was really not up to the mark.
The Biryani was good enough inspite of being veg. And in the end the dessert was amazing too. It was apple pie which I had never tried before. Highly recommended ❤️
The place is situated near to Prabhadevi railway station. Well the ambience is really amazing. They have unique quotes, paintings and various other things on the wall. It was very calm and pleasing place.
The service was good enough. The menu is very versatile and loved it.
I tried lemon mojito which had mild taste but it should be strong.
The Manchow soup was served hot and was spicy which I loved very much. Not many places serve such an amazing soup❤️
In starters I had cheese nachos which were lovely. My friend had some bacon wrapped prawns which he didn't like at all. The waiter got it replaced then too it wasn't upto the mark.
In Mains we tried Veg Biryani which I loved alot again. Generally people say there is nothing like beg biryani, but it was truly amazing. The rice was properly cooked and mixed well with all the veggies and spices ✌🏻 It's served with chilled and yummy raita.
Lastly in dessert we had apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The pie was soft from inside and had an crunchy base. Perfectly sweetened pie was really wonderful 😋
Overall loved the place. Will definitely visit again to try more things✌🏻
Located at 5-7 mins walking distance from Prabhadevi station, Cafe Free India is a pretty, cosy cafe which offers Continental food and light bites. We picked cheesy nuggets, godfather burger, pasta in garlic cream and brownie for dessert with refreshing mojito & lemon ice tea. The mentioned items very decent in taste. This place was pretty good with cool vibe, appropriate to hang out with friends for a good time.
Cafe free India is located right on the main road..hard to miss..

We started our lunch with Thupka soup..it's a Tibetan clear soup.. with bok choy noodles and veggies..was good!! 4/5
Then for the starters we ordered chilly garlic chicken dry .. which was awesome!!! It's a must try!! Totally recommended..5/5
We moved to the godfather burger which was a double Patty burger with grilled mushrooms, onions, cheddar cheese and fried eggs..
Presentation was good, but the Patty had too much oil in it which made it more oily than juicy..was alright..3/5
This was ended with gooey chocolate browny with vanilla ice cream..browny was a bit on the drier side..ice cream was good though..3/5
P.s. Would have definitely given 5* if the food was on point..I hope next time when I visit they change my mind
:)
This place serves really great food. The delivery is pretty quick and the staff is humble. You need to try their Peri Peri chicken pizza which was yummy and cheesy. We then tried their chicken crispy and ended our meal with a orea crumble shake. It was superb.

The place is small but well decorated with quotes and frames around. The bar counter is pretty small and much variety of cocktails/mocktails isn't available. Now coming to the food, we tried the following:
1. Red velvet shake- This one was recommended to me by the staff and it was really thick and delicious shake lacked sweetness a bit but was nice. (4/5)
2. Orange mojito- My friends ordered this one and really liked it a lot. She absolutely loved it (5/5)
3. Burnt garlic and spinach soup- clear soup with the perfect blend of both spinach and garlic (4/5)
4. Jalapeno nuggets- I expected this one too be spicy but unfortunetly it wasn't.. the dip served with it was amazing but the nuggets lacked flavour. (4/5)
5. Godfather burger- i tried the veg variant and the it was really impressive. Liked this the most. Totally recommend. (5/5)
6. Paneer biryani- soft well marinated paneer cubes with a perfect biryani flavour. A treat for vegetarians. (5/5)
7. Chocolate brownie with icecream- soft Brownie which had an amazing melt in the mouth texture (5/5)
Visited Cafe India with a friend. We ordered 2 drinks- Oreo Milkshake & Sex On the beach (virgin). Both the drinks were average, however consisted too much ice
In starters we ordered a portion of sausage & cheese sandwich. It was tasty & filling.
Bacon Wrapped Prawns- Tasty & scrumptious. Would definitely recommend this.
Crispy Chicken- wasn't crispy but wasn't bad too.
We quickly moved on to desserts. However they dud not have all the items from the menu so we decided on a Red Velvet cheese cake which wasn't really nice. The frosting tasted weird.
Had a nice time at this resto munching on the starters, hoping to visit again to try out the dessert specialities
Located on a busy road & opposite Carnival Cinema, this eatery gets a good crowd coming by. They have a seating capacity for 25 people, a full fledged bar and quirky wall frames around.
We dropped on a cloudy Sunday for some afternoon chill. We started by ordering
Oreo Milkshake- Thick Oreo Milkshake, filled with the goodness of vanilla icream & oreo cookies. However, there is a lot of ice in this one!
Sex on the beach (Virgin)- a simple blend of Orange & Cranberry juice. This one was extremely disappointing in terms of taste. Also this one was filled with ice.
We moved to starters and ordered:
Sausage & Cheese Sandwich- Nothing fancy but this one was really good! The sandwhich was loaded with sausage and cheese!
Bacon Wrapped Prawns- Tender prawns wrapped up in bacon strips, deep fried till crispy and served with a spiced mayo dip. This one too, was amazing!
Crispy Chicken- Wasn't crispy enough but the taste was great!
Wanted to also try out the Godfather burger, but our tummies we full by this time so we moved to desserts.
It was again disappointing to know that only selected items from the resto were on stock. We had to settle for a red velvet cupcake. The cupcake was good however the Frosting had a peculiar flavor. Didn't much enjoy it.
CFI is a pretty chill place to step into. It has dim lighting & soothing vintage music playing in the back ground. The service is kind off slow.

CAFE FREE INDIA - A Small cosy cafe located opposite to Deepak theatre , is a place full of Quotes . The Interior is rustic , old school type , The place resemble the British Architecture , vintage collections ,full of funny quotes .
Starting with some Beverages I had Red velvet shake which was absolutely amazing. The thickness was great and the flavours were great . I really loved the shake personally .
The place is really famous for its God father burger . So I had Chicken God Father burger , a really classic burger , fried Chicken which has double patty , a lit bit of Lettuce , and mayonise sauce , other than that it had no other veggies in it . The burger was good enough for 2 people , taste was also good, if it had more veggies and sauce it would have been great .
So for the Main I ordered Chicken Biryani , it was kind of good , less pieces of chicken , the flavour was so good , seasoned with some fried onions . Loved eating it .
Last dish was brownie with Ice cream , Inhouse baked brownie with vanilla ice cream ,loved it .
Cafe free India located near Deepak cinema is worth place to visit. It is 10-15 mins walking distance away from lower parel station as well it is near to Prabhadevi station.
What I had here:
• Chilli Paneer Garlic (5/5):
Perfect chineese starter to start. Paneer was quite soft and well tossed in sauces. Quantity was nice. Must must try.
• Red velvet shake (5/5):
It was thick shake and smashed red velvet cookies on top was delicious, quantity was also good. Well presented must try out.
• God father Burger(3/5):
God father burger consisting of two big patties. I opted for vegetarian hence it was having veg pattie with lots of cheese on it. Burger is larger in size that one person alone cannot finish it at one go.
• Gooey Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice cream (5/5):
Chocolate brownie was very good in taste and also very soft. Well presented and attractive dish is must to try out.
Today I went to the place nearby parel.
They had managed the wall's space very decently with the pictures and arts stuff hence ambiance becomes supercool.

Highly recommended :-
1) Nachos with cheese -> mouth watering
2) chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream
3)orange mojito
4)thupka soup
Overall i loved the place.
The place gives a vibe of old-time restaurants. Food is good, I especially like their Parsley Butter Garlic Mushroom (heads up if you are calorie conscious this dish isn't for you as it comes with lots of butter !!)
You will find it very crowded on Friday afternoons.
Very attractive cafe in lower parel, and perfect to have a date here. Good amount of options available here in veg and non veg. Service was too good here, staff is very attentive and suggestive.
"Thupka" and "French onion soup" are the one recommended to me by the manager. French onion is the one i will highly recommend you to try here. "Orange mojito" and "ginger lemon" are two soda based mocktail here to have. I will recommend you Ginger lemon and not orange Mojito it is was very salty. Then we had starters "veg nuggets" and "creamy mushroom bruschetta". If you love mushroom or not, this one is the best vegetarian starter i will recommend to try. Very nice cheesy with flavour of mushroom and garlic. Then we had main course, "penne arrabiata red sauce" and "bombay masala pizza" both were good in taste, must order their pasta, its very delicious and with lots of American Veggies. Their bugers are amazing, the one recommended to us by their staff is "godfather veg burger" having two patty inside it with veggies, another their best selling burger here is "veg parmaggiano". In the end for desserts they gave us their blueberry cheesecake and one Chocolate based pastry..

The CafeFree India the best place to chill with friends, the quality of the food is great, the proportion of the ingredients is perfect, the ambience is awesome very simple as well as fancy.
Thukpa Soup - The soup was not so spicy and not so sweet or salty it has the best combination of chilli and tangy flavour, it taste best when it is hot.
French Onion Soup - Its has the very mild flavour of cheese, having little salty flavour too.
Creamy Mushroom Bruschittas - The best and perfect starter to have love the cream and combination of musroon with it which makes the taste balance and bruschittas adds the crunchy flavour
Veg Naggets - It is little bit salty and very much soft, according to me it will taste better if it is a little bit more spicy.
Penne Arrabiatta Red Sauce - The Tangy and very little bit spicy pasta which is very best combination in pasta to have, which i loved to have it.
Bombay Masala Pizza - The name itself describes the taste, which is having a proper bombay masala in pizza which is a unique, and i never had these type of taste anywhere.
Godfather Veg Burger - The burger has the perfect stuff in it and there has an cheese slice in it which makes it more tasty.
Veg Parmagiano - The patty inside it having a great taste and the vegetables in it enhance the taste of the burger.
Orange Mojito - The Moctails like orange mojito completes your overall lunch its the best combination of orange and lime to have.
Red Velvet Shake - The Sweet shake it is very juicy, personally it is very delecious if you love sweet you then you must try it.
Oreo Choco Milk Shake - Who doesnt love the oreo shake the texture of the chocolate is perfect and having a blend of chocolate in it.

Just visited this lovely and wonderful place yesterday for lunch, and can't deny that I had a great time.
Its a moderately sized place with one of the funniest and quirkiest interiors. The place has the vibes that somewhat resemble an irani cafe upgraded into a restaurant cum bar. The walls are filled with quirky, witty and funny posters and they prove to be a good laugh in between meals. Even in broad daylight they preserved the restaurants lightings to be moderately dim, giving a rather calm and relaxing touch to the atmosphere. The furnishing and architecture of this place looks vintage, adding a sense of classy-ness too. Followed by good music and a wide variety of delicious food items, I would like to hang out here any day!
BACON AND CHEESE FRIES - Setting up the mood right, and beginning with something thats simply delicious. Warm and crispy fries right out of the fryer and topped with crispy bacon and a substantial amount of cheese sauce too. I doubt there is any other appetizer better than this one. The yummy fries manage to tease your appetite in the right way and their tastyness is enhanced by the bacon and cheese. A must try without a doubt!
ORANGE MOJITO - A refreshing and fizzy virgin mojito with added tang of orange. The mint leaves worked great as an addon on the taste and the presentation as well. I think the portion was a little too less and should be improved.
OREO COOKIE SHAKE - I wouldn't say that I loved the shake, but it was a decent one. The positive points would be the little efforts taken to make it look presentable, the consistency of the beverage. What I think was the matter was the portion size. It was genuinely very less for 190 bucks, it was hardly 7-8 sips max. Plus it was not even cold and served at room temperature. Negative points for that sire. It also felt that it was more of a chocolate shake with an oreo cookie on top for decor.
GOD FATHER BURGER (LAMB) - It had been quite a while that I enjoyed some non-veg items, let alone lamb! So the moment I saw this variant on the menu, I just grabbed it. This burger would be an example of 'Never judge a book by its cover'. Titled the god father burger, I expected it to be atleast huge, if not humongous but it looked relatively normal sized. The tempting factor about it was the aroma of lamb and fried egg. After clicking pictures, I sat and gave it a good look and it looked nothing but delicious. Those double lamb patties with crispy outer coverings, seperated by a fried egg and those little bit namesake veggies on top. It was soul satisfying! Loved the entire experience right from the aroma, the crunch and texture of the patties and ofcourse the delicious taste. A hundred and ten percent must try item here at Cafe Free India.
What surpirsed me is that even though I ate more than half of this delicious burger, it wasn't too heavy on the tummy.
P.S - There are fries at the side too!
PANEER BUTTER MASALA - I genuinely wasn't expecting this at all! This sabji, paneer butter masala, I wasn't expecting it to be this good. Usually at places like this, which are more of a cafe and a bar place, Indian Mains are usually ignored, but not here. The sabji was fantastic, with soft and succulemt cottage cheese cubes and highly flavourful gravy. It was even better than burger too. And for the bread they had chapati! Soft, thin and warm homemade chapati! The Indian mains won my heart without a doubt!
BROWNIE WITH ICE CREAM - I was a bit sad because of the unavailability of the cheesecake, and felt somewhat cheated that I had to go for brownie but man I was wrong! This simple and most widely available dessert too satisfied my dessert-ly cravings. Before we even realised, this yummy and chocolaty baked cake, topped with the warm chocolate sauce and ice cream seemed to us a great way to end the meal.
Cafe Free India is full of surpirses! Its interior and decor are surprising. You just look around and you'll find a funny quote that'll make you laugh. Plus there are surprises in the food as well. Indian Mains will melt your heart away. Loved the entire experience here.
Happy Burping!!!
Tonight I visited this happening cafe and all day bar alongwith a lil champ and she loved the ambience. Its located just opposite to Deepak talkies easy to find and very eye catchy shopfront will stun you.
As I enter a feeling of vintage interior cafe alongwith funky quotes and wall hangings lifted my mood and I was totally going with a flow for nice and pop music.
Staff service was prompt and they comforted us with thier hospitality. They immediately come to us and serve water and was ready to take order
Coming to the food and drinks we ordered following
Orange mojito: 🍹 A refreshing drink for sure! The sweet and tangy ness of lime and orange definately made my find relaxed and every sip was unique in itself
Red Velvet Shake: 🥤🧁 An awesome shake to drool over alongwith red velvet sponge crumbs with perfect blend of velvety taste and milky thick texture
French Onion Soup: 🥣 Frankly I'm not an onion lover but this super is serious goals thick and crey soup with tasty onion broth with enhanced the taste it was served with Garlic bread and cheese in the middle
Chilli Garlic Prawns: 🍤🍤 Prawns is one of my favourite seafood item and I can easily guess if the fish is fresh or stale but trust me guys these were the best prawns I've ever had in any restaurant fresh and big prawns stir fried with chilli garlic sauce and the texture was nice and flesh was perfectly cooked. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
THE GOFATHER BURGER🍔🍔 : the Godfather burger was huge with freshly rolled bread topped with 2 chicken patties fresh salad mayo dressing sunny side up omelette and tossed mashroom gave it fulfilling kind of nature accompanied with crispy french fries really loved it♥️♥️
Butter chicken biryani : butter chicken biryani was totally love🥘 smooth and silky butter chicken gravy well accompanied with flavourful basmati and served with grated cucumber salad which was delightful. Quantity is huge so do order wisely.
Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream: 🥮🍦🍨 The dessert is to die for. The chocolate brownie was way too yummy than my expectations. Gooey chocolate brownie when taken a spoonful, truly it was melt in mouth and vanilla icecream is truly a nice partner with that gooey brownie. One of the best brownie I've ever had at a cafe 🍫🍫
It was a pleasure visiting this cafe and a bar for leisure time alongwith your family and friends 🤩
A place to talk your heart out to your loved one easily located and feel good place for sure!!!🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩

Café Free India in Lower Parel is a 5-7 minute walk from Prabhadevi station. The ambience had a vintage look, wicker chair and witty quotes on all the walls. The waiting staff was courteous and well read on the menu. It was raining when we went there which just really elevated the experience on the whole.
Service 5/5.
Ambience 5/5.
We started with two soups. The FRENCH ONION SOUP had a thick consistency and a mild but great flavor. Italian flavoring and the cheese garlic toastie made it a good start the meal.
THUKPA SOUP had a load of spices and had a Tibetan sweet and sour flavor. The soup has well-cooked thin noodles and pak choy.
In mocktails we had two shakes and two soda based mocktail ORANGE MOJITO and GINGER GARLIC SODA. Mojito was having lots of lemon in it and ginger garlic soda is perfect one to have here. RED VELVET SHAKE was my favourite and oreo lovers should try OREO CHOCO MILK SHAKE.
For starters, we ordered CREAMY MUSHROOM BRUSCHTTAS. It mainly consisted of finely chopped mushroom amongst other things. It was one of our favorite dishes ordered here. The crispy flavorsome bread topped with a creamy dressing was a mouthful of joy on a plate. The next starter was the VEG NUGGETS, that came filled with cheese and cream. The dressing and crispy nuggets can be good siders for when out drinking with friends, or even otherwise!
Thin crust, vege-loaded and tangy-ish BOMBAY MASALA PIZZA was amongst the many things that tasted delightful. Main courses we ordered, included a ‘proper italian’ PENNE ARRABIATTA RED SAUCE PASTA. One bite of it and you can clearly know that the red sauch has been made by the café from scratch, giving it a fresh taste… Something we always look for in red pasta. The very popular GODFATHER VEG BURGER was specially recommended to us by the waiting staff and they were right about doing so. The burger was a handful, with two patties and cheese, dressing and veggies. The other one was a VEG PARMAGGIANO BURGER with a potato, veggies and seasoning filled patty. Both the burgers were sided with very crispy and fresh French Fries.
Moving on DESSERT OF THE DAY… A pastry with White Rum infused dark chocolate. It was bitter-sweet and really rich. BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE was how a cheesecake should be. Very rich, dense, creamy with a very-berry flavor and a crispy biscuit base.

Overall great experience, friendly staff and promote service.
Cafe Free India --- The 50 year old cafe offers a large variety of Indian and Continental dishes. Starting from the soups to appetizers and main course and to the dessert. The food was of good quantity and quality and had a very distinct taste of Mustard Mayo. The speciality Godfather lamb patty burger was literal mouthfill with mushroom, egg, double patty, caramelized onion and lettuce. The Peach Ice Tea, Orange Mojito and The Gooey Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream were my favourite. The hospitality was good. Overall it's a 5/5 for me ...
I always wanted to visit this place as I heard a lot about their godfather lamb burger , it was the star of the day , it was flavourful and eye catchy . Then we order for some drinks both were incredibly awesome ,followed by BLT sandwich and fish fingers . All the food were delicious . Then we ended our meal with brownie with ice cream .
This quaint little place, bang opposite to Deepak talkies, has some of the tastiest burgers you can get in this city. This place is like a panacea for all burger pangs.
Cafe free India is located in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The ambience of this place is quite fascinating w the vintage look & quirky quotes on the walls. They serve european, continental, asian & north indian food.

.
In the frame,
• prawns biryani
• the godfather burger
• mutton seekh kebabs
• jalapeno cheese poppers
• chicken jungli sandwich
• chocolate brownie
• martini & oreo cookie shake
.
.
The flavourful marinated aromatic prawns biryani was our fav from the list. The godfather burger consisted of double-patty w cheese, onions & tomatoes, enough for two-three people. The kebabs were nicely minced & not dry which is a plus. The poppers & the sandwich were decent. Both the beverages could be skipped, the gooey chocolate brownie w ice cream was delectable.
.
.
The service took a reasonable time, the staff was warm & attentive. The avg cost for two people would be around ₹1100 approx.

Had a great time over delectable food, we are sure you will enjoy too @cafefreeindia

Visited the new outlet of Cafe Free India in Fort last evening. It is a two floored cafe where the upper floor has a wonderful lounge with live screening of sports. Amazing place to chill during IPL season. Here drinks start from just ₹49. We ordered their soothing mojito and fulfilling double chocolate brownie milkshake. For starters we went for chilli garlic paneer which is a must try. Apart from that we order jalapeños cheese nuggets and peri peri paneer burger served along with french fries. Their burger bun was one of the most softest bun I ever had. For main course we tried their paneer butter masala along with their tawa roti and laccha paratha. And how can we forget about the delicious dessert brownie with vanilla ice-cream which was a perfect dessert to end our dinner.
We went on a week day yet the cafe was so busy which itself speaks for the cafe. The quantity was sufficient for the price we are paying for and the quality hands down was top-notch.The ambience is very happening. The service is also quite fast with courteous staff who are always ready to help us.Must visit with friends and office colleagues.

Cafe free india is a great place to visit with friends or family .
They have bar section and awsome beverages options loved the green apple mojito.
In food I tried onion rings it was awsome crispy and tasty.
Burger and cheesy fries tasted great.
Pizza was the best full of toppings and cheese.
In dessert I ate raspberry cheesecake.
Over all it was a great experience.
Ambiance was point on. Food is tasty no matter what you order. And most important is the cafe vibe its awesome. And must try is loaded nachos, burnt garlic noodles and exotic veggies in hunnan sauce... A must try....
This place gets you the right essence of old Bombay. One will enjoy readings around the place which are quirky & fun. The interiors are selected well, each item taking you to the memory lane. The place also serves brilliant food. Loved what we had:
-French Onion Soup: pondicherry speciality, with amazing flavours of basil. Slight sweetness of onion made this one a great dish.
-Spinach Corn Cheese Sandwich: we ordered this in multigrain bread. This was the best SCC sandwich I have ever had. The stuffing was delicious!
-Jalapeño Cheese Chicken Nuggets: Crispy, cheedy & perfect. Served with mustard mayo dip. Enjoyed having this.
-Aglio Olio: good quantity but I felt the spaghetti could be a little thinner. The flavours was decent.
-Butter Garlic Fish: loved the flavour with the fish. Was served with huge quantity of mashed potatoes & salad on the side.
We accompanied our meal with:
-Sea link: the gin based cocktail was unusual & nice
-Red Velvet Shake: simply great. The cream was amazing & taste just right.
Overall, we loved this place. The place is very comfortable, one can seat, relax, talk and have a great meal.

Free India Cafe
The cafe is walkable in distance from Prabhadevi (Elphistone Station) & Easy to locate.. The ambiance is quite quirky with naughty and funny quotes all around the wall with vintage facts.. A mini bar counter is stored just opposite the entrance with soothing jazz music.
The place is super crowded in peak hours.. Might also happen that you will have to wait for the tables.. but when you are there in, even you wouldn't like to leave the place soon..
What all I tried:
Cocktail: Green Mumbai:
This Cocktail comes in a tiny champagne class loaded with Cucumber Besil & Coriander topped with Vodka & White Rum on the Rocks.. quite strong in flavour.. and as you sip up hits on your Nose string.
SOUP: CHICKEN THUKPA:
Was quite refreshing with freshly cut Cilantro and Chicken Minch.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
APPETIZERS:
CHILLI OYSTER PRAWNS:
Quite a flavour dish with perfectly done prawns.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
CRUMB FRIED CALAMARI:
Absolute delightful.. That crunch coated on calamari with mustard mayonnaise dip goes so well
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
MAINS:
BACON CARBONARA PENNE PASTA:
This was superbly done with smoked bacon.. The white sauce was well infused with the smoked bacon which dominated the flavour.
RECOMMENDED
All and all the food and its pricing is quite an attraction for the people.. The servers are kind and do their job well..but at times disappears.. Need to improvise on that.. Otherwise everything is set!
Well I am planning to bring my gang for perfect dining.. And recommending you all to do so!!
Cheers!
This café is right opposite Deepak cinema and is the perfect place with an amazing vibe and delicious food and drinks. We always visit this place for some cocktails and carbonara pasta. The details the owner has put into this place from the menu to the wall hangings is truly commendable. The cocktails they serve will not disappoint you for sure! If you are looking for a good place to chill near lower parel than you should definitely add this to your list.
So I was meeting a friend and she suggested this place and booked us a table as this is very crowded over lunch . Well from outside it looked cool. But I was curious why it was named cafe Free India, then we got to know that this place is operated by people ever since independence. Food was amazing, loved the salad, pasta, Thai curry and rice... The best thing that we had was the red velvet muffin with fresh cream amazing on taste and super soft. The people serving give you a detailing about the food and place. They are expanding on 2nd floor and awaiting their bar licence to serve liquor to overall lovely experience. I can rate this place as 4.5
