No doubt that Pratap The Dhaba serves the Best Butter Chicken y’all can ever have.😍
The ambience of the restaurant is at another level and is very peaceful.
I tried Butter chicken with kulcha and loved it.
I’m definitely going to try another dishes from Pratap The Dhaba.

Amazingggg dhaba in Andheri West. I discovered this place by accident, went to a nearby restaurant, didn't like it so was searching for some place else, and found this punjabi food paradise. Absolutely amazing dhaba. Total punjabi ambience, music, seating. Awesome fragrances of punjabi dishes floating in the air. Awesome service, very hospitable crew, complimentary drink served, mouthwatering starters and main course, with butter milk in the end made the whole dining experience a memorable one. 5/5 to the place. A must visit place, for all northindian food lovers
Had amazing food after a long time. Chicken tandoori and butter chicken. #Fresh
Had butter roti and mix veg in lunch ordered from pratap dhaba. Butter roti and mix veg was fresh and tasty. Loaded with good quantity and quality. Enjoyed the lunch. Quantity was sufficient for 2 people.
Very good olace to go with family .. good ambience and food as well... Enjoyed very much
It was an amazing experience to have authentic punjabi food with the whole punjabi atmosphere. We felt welcomed by the free panipuri shots and the end pan shots. We ordered a lot of dishes: Dahi Bhalla, Chole pattice, radish pyaaj, 2 kinds of sabji, dal makhni, naan kulcha rumali roti, jelebi rabdi lassi and kulfi. All the food tasted awesome. Happy to visit again.
Located in a small lane in Oshiwara, this Dhaba is quite popular with diners who crave for North Indian cuisine. They have an air-conditioned dining hall as well as seating in the open. They welcome you with a complimentary drink that tastes like the mint flavoured water of pani puri. We ordered yellow daal with tadka, Kadai Chicken and Lacchha Paratha. Food was served with roasted garlic which was nice. Though the food tasted very good, it was just too rich. Everything that you order there is super spicy. Instead of maintaining authenticity with limited flavours, they go all out to please the taste buds which can sometimes be a put-off. At the end of the meal, they serve you a complimentary drink which is made from melted ice cream, paan and fennel seeds. It simply tastes heavenly. If I were to risk going for such a heavy meal again, I would go for lunch and never for dinner.
If you're looking for Punjabi food in Andheri West, this is definitely the place to be. The food is expensive and the breads exorbitant though.
It is an amazing place to go to for enjoying North Indian food. The staff is polite and the food is delicious. They serve you shots (non-alcoholic) before and after your food.
Must try Dal Makhani and Jalebi with Rabri.
One of the authentic Punjabi and North indian food restaurants in Mumbai . This place is usually crowded during dinner hours , but it is pretty spacious, hence they manage to arrange a table in 5-10 mins, most of the time.
Food - 5- Really good food. Dal Makhani here is amazing.
Ambience-5 - Proper Dhaba style. Music , pictures and what more !!Price -4- This is one factor that stops me from visiting this place often. It is quite expensive when compared to similar restaurants in the localityCustomer service - 4- Service is quick . Staff is polite and humble.
One of my all time favourite..
Amazing service provided i just loved the theme you could get the village vibes of punjab. Extremely amazing food just loved the welcome drink provided must recommended!
It had great ambience food was upto the mark service was also great and cleanliness was also maintained friendly staff . It was great to be there
Service- 5/5
Food Quality- 5/5
Ambiance- 4/5
Must try- Punjabi dishes and non vegetarian food.
The place is famous for it’s North Indian cuisine.
Tried Veg kolhapuri and Paneer Butter masala. The taste resembles to that of the actual sigree cooked food. Unlimited fried garlic is what makes this place unique. Non vegetarian dish like butter chicken are quiet well known. It has a great ambiance consisting of outdoor as well as indoor seating. They serve you with Jeera shots in the beginning and Paan shots at the end. The ambiance here is very simple yet appealing. Alcohol is also served here. Pratap The Dhaba is a perfect destination for family dinner.
Greetings everyone🥳
Well, if you want to have amazing kebabs or sabzi and naan or anything punjabi for that matter Pratap da dhaba will surely fill your taste buds.
Food:
Starter’s:
We ordered chicken seekhan and chicken malai kebab to start with and these chicken starters came in no time to fill us up with its mild taste with a malai flavour melting on the tongue and tender seekh kebabs baked to perfection🍗🍖
Main course:
A recommendation from me would be the Cheese butter garlic naan, its the best naan i have had in Mumbai so far. The sabzi we had was a veg paneer-dhaniya-adrak, well it was supposed to be medium spicy but turned out to be too mild and bland eventually, the good quality of the panner cubes saved the day for the sabzi as it matched the gravy well even at its blandness.
Drinks and desserts:
A recommendation would be definitely the punjabi lassi in drinks and jalebi with rabdi.
Both the dishes are freshly made on order and will feel your buds for sure.
Not to forget the free paan shots which they offer at the end. The drink 🥤 seriously freshens you up good.
Ambience:
The restaurent is divided in two sections:
Ac family dining and outdoor dhaba style, the Ac dining felt a little cramped therefore we came outside in the open and well it worked better.
The overall ambience is good except the internal spaces felt too cramped.
Shout out:
Very well mannered and helpful sandeep yadav was serving us that day and he did a really good job, took care of situations nicely and his recommendations worked well.
Comments:
A place not worth missing out if you are searching for north indian delicacy’s - Highly recommended for that.
Its not hard to notice that the dishes are highly priced, its a place you should visit with your family.
Located near Oshiwara Police station. It has a punjabi dhaba feel with both indoor and outdoor seating. Food is good, ambience is great, but the service is slow and the prices are a little higher.
Overall a good experience.
This place has a good Dhaba vibe, being located in a porsche area in Mumbai. The food and drinks are a bit overpriced but they taste really good. The staff service is not that impressive, but the complimentary offers, both before and after the orders, are good. A nice place to visit for North Indian foodies.
Best Jalebi Rabadi in Mumbai.
The moment you place the order, they serve you fried masala garlic & masala onion...... havent seen it anywhere else, and is very tasty.
My go to here is Murg dhaniya adraki with laccha paratha. i haven't eated such good dhaniya adraki anywhere else.
Ambience is good, i prefer the khats they have.
Menu is limited, however i have never eaten anything at this place which I don't like. And i have eaten almost everything.......multiple times.......over the years..........
They do keep trying new things like jal jeera shot, not big fan of the Pan shots they serve after the meal but appreciate the attempt.
This cute Punjabi place in Oshiwara gives complete Punjabi feel. The food reminds you of North India true flavors and taste. Little bit expensive. We ordered roasted masala papad and it costs us 108 bucks. That's too much for a papad. Should definitely try kadhi and makke di roti from this place. The complimentary shots in the beginning and end of the mean enhances the food experience. Overall nice ambience but expensive for the taste
Very Good ! Nice restaurant with wonderful food. Interior is good. Food quality is also too good. I loved chicken roast, the taste and aroma was truly memorable. Even I had more of apetite ! Also chicken drumstick were too tasty
The ambiance is very traditional and that’s what I like the most about this place..even though their food is delicious, it’s time they upgrade their menu..I’ve been going to this place since my college days and the menu is 90% still the same..No or hardly some new dishes (they have definitely increased their prices though)..plus the waiter was very rude..he was behaving like he did a favour on us by taking our order..I never faced this experience at the dhaba..this was the first time ever which was a complete turn off and I may have to think twice before revisiting this place..Please try their Methi mutter malai..this dish is supposed to be sweet but it wasn’t sweet at all but had an amazing taste..and their paan shot at d end of our meal added some refreshment to the evening 😀
The ambience is good. Crowd is also good. Food iss nice and tasty. The only thing that bothered me was price. It is too costly as compared to other restaurants who offer same taste and same service.
In Mumbai City if you want to eat Dhaba food then one has to visit this place.
It has a look and feel of a typical roadside Dhaba's we come across on highways. Its an open air place with separate smoking and nonsmoking areas.
They welcome you with a spicy minty shot; sliced cucumber and carrots with masala drizzled on it, raw onions drizzled with lemon and malas and fried garlics. The fried garlics tastes yum.
We ordered Amristari pomfret fry and paneer Pudhine wala along.
The paneer was soft and tasty. The fish was fresh and tasted yum. They had served yoghurt mint chutney to have with the starters, on request they did serve pudina chutney as well.
Jelabi and rabadi is a must try. The Jelabis were awesome.. mouthwatering...
At the end they serve Pan shots...
The staff is friendly. Being a Sunday it was crowded we got our billing was delayed.
Overall I liked the place and the food was really tasty. Will be visiting soon.
One of the best place to have tasty food and chill with friends. From food I ordered to their complimentary dishes and drinks, everything is tasty and the taste is similar to Delhi food. I can eat from this restaurant everyday. Not even over expensive, the charges are worth because taste is so so good. The ambience gives punjabi feel and the staff is very quick and courteous. I totally recommend this place to all.
Perfect place for foodies to taste punjabi authentic food. The staff is very supportive and you can taste delicious and tasty fresh butter chicken, various kabab.
The place is best recommended when you want to go for a family lunch or dinner
The ambiance is quite desi and amazing
The food is mind blowing
Ambiance-4/5
Food -5/5
Best Punjabi Food available. Ambience is great and feels like a proper dhaba. Amazing food in Punjabi style. Complimentary drinks shots are tasty. Polite Staff.
This was the second visit to Pratap the Dhaba. The first one had satiated a strange craving for parathas. While they were among the best in Mumbai, they fail a wee bit short of Delhi's parathas. Today's fare started off with the customary welcome shot, raw onions slathered with masala and soft garlic cloves also slathered with the masala. The starters were Amristsari fry prawns and Chicken Tandoori. The prawns were fresh and remind one of Jay Jawan, who are masters of this preparation. The tandoori chicken was perfect. No industrial red paint. Nicely slow roasted to the right level. Pratap gets both these seemingly simple dishes spot on perfect, where many reputed establishments fail.
The main course was a mild but fragrant Paneer Dhaniya Adraki, a Bawarchi's special Chicken with Rotis and Naans. While nothing to rave about here, the taste, texture and portions were hard to find fault with.
The meal ended with an honest lassi (no crazy fusion experiments), and Jalebi Rabdi. The jalebis are made on demand and served piping hot. The perfect ending to a hearty meal. I'm probably going back once more only for the Jalebis.
The customary Paan Shot at the end cleanses the palate precisely.
Valet parking is a must here and Pratap has a competent system.
Sum total of all components: 9.9 on 10.

If you want to spend some quality time with friends and family and want to have authentic Indian delicacy food and drinks, this a where you belong!
Also this place serves Jaljeera shots as the welcome drink and Mouth watering Paan Shots at the end, which adds to the evening.

Jalebi with Rabri is a must try here.
Also had the soft-est Rumali Roti here!
So a big big thumbs up to this place from my side.
Omg.. My experience with this place was amazing.. Best Punjabi dish I had in a looong time. People must try the "dhaba special" mention dishes. The complimentary welcome drink (pani puri shot) and complimentary pan shot, Icing on the cake. Alcohol is also available. But people.. Nothing is better than lassi.. So guys, please do visit this place.. Really good..
Visited here for my birthday with my family, we were about 10-12 people and we did booked a table prior. They've ac and non ac sections we were sitting in non ac section because the seating was really good outside so we decided to sit outside. A very good ambience, actually it was proper dhaba style ambience which was amazing. Staff was really amazing and polite to us, suggested us many things according to us which was very grateful for us. They've a really good options for food and desserts.
Quality and quantity of food is good. Taste wise everything was mind blowing.
Would definitely visit this place and would recommend this place if you ever wanted to have something good and spend time with your family.
I have been there couple of times, no doubt they have best north indian cuisine but it is slightly on costlier side. It has the feel of dhaba and ambience is good. Their butter chicken and tandoori roti is enough to arouse your taste bud. The only thing I would not order there again are their non alcoholic beverages.
For food 4 star...
Another great place for North Indian food hoggers, they have a very friendly staff and a wide range of menu to choose from
We had ,
Tandoori chicken
Butter chicken with tandoori roti
Jalebi and rabdi
A good place to hangout with friends or a visit with family. Easy to find and about the parking you have to take no tension as the valet will take your car to park.
For a North Indian this the place you would like to go and if you are a drinker then the drinks are on you as they are available.
This is one of my favouraite places to eat dal makhani. This place makes the best dal makhani in Mumbai according to me. After eating it you will realize why it is called dhaba special. It is best served with missi roti.
Their serving is also related to panjabi style. You can either sit outside or inside. Outside is a better option as it is more comfortable. The place has plenty of space you will not face any problem about the place is small.
The staff is very friendly and you may feel that it is overpriced but they assure you with the taste of food they serve.
You can also order the food but it takes a lot of time.

A bit expensive for one time meal but worth the price. Best Indian dinner served with dhaba style ambience and decoration, comfortable seating and friendly staffs. It gives you the village feels and is a treat to go with family and friends. It's a must visit if you're in Andheri.
The food is amazing. We ordered a few times, and now we decided to go there and eat. It was a nice experience. The restaurant has the look of an old Punjabi restaurant, which is really nice. The bathroom could pe cleaner. The food was served hot and was fresh and very tasty. Service is really good.
This little gem is a must visit for those who want to have authentic Punjabi cuisine. The complimentary condiments of fried garlic and onions in masala are just amazing as is their welcome and closing drink ( pan flavored) you are spoiled for choice in the main course, rest assured, from the breads to the grills to the curries, they are truly amazing and satisfying!
Food is delicious be it starters or main course. Service is excellent and the servers are always attentive to all your requests. Food is piping hot and tasty. Must try is the (Pan Shot) to digest it all. Over all a good experience. Definitely recommend this place.
Oshiwara is the food hub of Mumbai and the variety made me decide to try out some Indian spices. Valet parking available which is quintessential in the narrow lane where the restaurant is located.
We preferred the outside seating although there is an AC section too. There were giant swing fans to help us stay cool.
The staff is really proactive. They are well trained to manage crowd and thus we were quickly seated and order taken in a jiffy.
The restaurant does know the psychology of customers. As soon as we were seated a cool green coloured concoction was served that was refreshing and out of the ordinary. Tell me who doesn’t want a freebie.
As we sipped on the beer we were served peanuts. It was followed by a plate of onion served with a spices that made me want for more. Along with it was burnt garlic sautéed in ghee. The mood obviously was upbeat.
The seating is very ordinary decorated minimally as a village surrounding from Punjab. Women drawing water from well and men in traditional wear standing. Low maintenance and very effective.
The tangri kebab came in 4 large pieces and we felt full. But it was day to test our appetite thus we ordered Missi roti and Sarson da Saag. Heavenly it was and the quantity was equally delightful good for 2 people
At the end meal a pan concoction was served again as complimentary. They do not charge service charge like most restaurants in Mumbai and thus we request to add to the tip as per your wish.
An ideal stop for good food and conversation! Must visit and coming back again
The ambiance is of a village of Punjab. At arrival they serve you garlic and onions in spices which is totally an awesome experience. Also after you finish your food a paan shot is given complimentary which too is great in taste. Most of the cuisine is Punjabi which is good in taste and a bit difficult to find in Mumbai. A must visit place.
Hello All 👋
Prataps dhaba has been an age old memory for me now , been going here over a decade. And trust me if you are a person born with highly sensitive taste buds for Indian ( North Indian) food then I've got your back covered here.
This is a very cool place for lunch and dinners , family place and fabulous fabulous food. Whenever I crave a great butter chicken , a reshmi kebab , a lassi and yummy jalebi rabdi I run here. Their menu is build strong on Indian flavors and the crushed fried garlic and pickled onions are the cherry on the cake. They also severe alcohol in both AC and Non Ac seating spots.
If you have a family with high number of Indian cusines eaters esp dad's 😅 this is the place. Your meal would end with their signature Paan Shots ( a small shot glass made of milk paan and fennel will be a good digestion shot for the yummy food. Food food food is the specialty of the place, be it biryani to parathas they have it all. My favorite are the chicken reshmi kebab and butter chicken and naan. They are well priced say around ₹1500 for two people without drinks. Which is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the taste and quality of food
They serve in steel and brass utensils which gives it a very desi feel. Music is bollywood and punjabi soft in background ambiance. It's a must try if you are a foodie 😋
Ciao -Vishal Pritmaani
The Dhaba is a good place to have a chill time with frends and family. The food here, both veg and non/ V are very satisfying. Their portions of almost everything in the menu are amazing, a sabzi or a starter is just sufficient for 5/6 people. Talking about their service, they are very welcoming and their service is very quick and nt to forget the welcome dring they give in the begining with some onion and garlic and the appitizer/ refreshing dring they give towards the end. However talking about their seating arrangement, the outdoors is very congusted, gloomy and the indoors or the A/C side's interior is very dusty which they should consider working on.
If you like spicy food must try this place. Panner Makhni was very good and it's a good option for kids. On the other side Panner Angara was 🔥. Staff was very attentive. Don't forget to try their Lassi.
The ambience is great. The restaurent is full of Punjabi ambience.
They serve masala onions and garlic for eating with rotis.. They serve the welcome Shot(drink) at the beginning and closing shot (drink) ending of the your meal.
Taste was delicious and the service is quick
Super tasty amazing food.
Sitting and decor is punjabi dhaba style.
We had methi corn malai and paneer dhania adraki with butter roti …awesome taste.
And with your food you will get welcome shots and after food paan shots.
Life is set
Must visit once at least to know what I am talking about.
During winter mosquito problem if you choose outdoor sitting.
Thanks it but still I gave 5 star because it’s worth.
Like my review then pl hit like
Make de Roti with Sarson d Sag … amazing quality
Loved the food and service, definitely worth visiting for authentic Punjabi food.
We went by car although there is no designated parking you may find open parking spaces around by the road.
We were welcomed with complimentary Pudina Shots 😀 which were good appetisers. Had Masala Papad and Tasty Panipuri in starters. For main course had Chawla Special Chicken and Panner Dhaniya Adraki which had a really unique and tasty flavour. Found Chawla Special to be more of an European flavour 😅than Punjabi, would recommend the vegetarian dishes and probably best to stick with the well known punjabi butter chicken or Kadhai chicken in non vegetarian.
The decor is nice and cosy, there is open space also to sit and have food in addition to the usual AC section.
Lots of options in beverages (alcohol served as well), we did order lassi and chaas thoroughly enjoyed. We were offered complimentary Pan Shots with the bill which were quite refreshing.
Place lived up to its name and our expectations, Recommended.
I simply love their butter chicken. It's the creamiest butter chicken I have had.
Their chicken tandoori tikka was also good and surprisingly it is a spicy dish !!.
The food is just amazing. It's one of those places you have to be when you are having a cheat day !
The staff are also incredibly warm and have such great hospitality.
At the start they serve you some thing called as Pani Puri shot. It's a good start to the feast to come !! And they end it with it a drink called has pan shot.
They just know how to play with your taste buds !
Great family restaurant
Loved the food specially the vegetarian dishes, dal makhni was so creamy. Love the corn methi malai and the paneer malai too. The pan shots after the food was also awesome.
Definitely one of the best and most authentic north Indian restaurants in Oshiwara.
-The decor, music and staff really feel authentic
-Before the meal they serve jaljeera shots, really fantastic.
-Their post meal paan shots are really unique, and worth visiting just for themselves
-Indoor as well as outdoor seating
- A little on the pricey side, but the portions are pretty large and the service is quick as well
-Good for large groups as well
-Recommended to reserve beforehand during weekends and post 9 pm
