Madras Diaries is famous for South Indian food! They have a good variety of delicious food.. ordered from Madras Diaries, the delivery was really quick, the delivery associates had worn mask and the delivery was contactless.. Had Rava Masala Dosa, Malabar Parotta which came with Paneer Gravy.. the paneer Gravy was delicious.. Chettinad Paneer Masala Dosa which was great, Parotta with Kurma which was yummy... However the Malabar Parotta was little on a harder side, not too soft... Otherwise the food was good!
Good to see that favourite restaurants have opened for delivery. I have recently ordered from one of my favourite place that is from Madras diaries. The place serves authentic south indian dishes. i have asker for sweet dahi vada its my all time favourite one whenever i am to this place. Then had Ghee roast dosa which is usual but loved the purely added ghee on it, its batter was just perfect and good in taste, quantity sufficient for one served with chutney and sambhar. Again chutney sambhal truly mouthwatering. Then comes the malabar paratha along with green curry ( made up of fresh veggies) bang on
The restaurant is taking good care in this pandemic and try their best to serve all with hygiene
Highly recommended one should definitely try this place if anyone looking for south indian food.

5/5
Best place to spend time with family and enjoy mouthwatering South-Indian food.
This restaurant is a far cry from the usual udipi joints that are frequented by folks looking for their Idli Dosa fix. Madras Diaries is a very pretty restaurant that feels like you are dining at someone's home in Chennai or Cochin. The walls are all coloured in earthy tones and the decor has subtle hints to remind you that it is a South Indian restaurant like bell-shaped lanterns and wooden doors that could be in a home anywhere down South. It is a more relaxed ambience and a great spoting for a family meal out. They have very comfortable seating arrangements. They have indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. The captain Raika suggested us the good food. He had the good knowledge of the menu as well. There is no meat on the menu but lots of favourites from 'Idli', 'Dosa', 'Uthappam', 'Appam' and more. They serve good quality and quantity of food. As coming to the food we ordered
Drinks
#1 orea milkshake.
#2 fresh fruit juice (orange juice)
Food
#1 Tahttu idly
It's a big size idly served with butter and peanut and dry red chilli powder.
#2 Pesarattu dosa
It is made up of green moong dal.
It's very long and tasty.
#3 Stew appam (highly recommended)
Made with rice flour. It is very very soft and tasty.
#4 Medu vada
It was tasty and add all spices in it.
Dessert
#1 MD special Bread halwa.
It's was tasty and made with bread crumbs. It was tasting like kheer.
Overall, the experience was good you can try this place for some more delicious food.
A beautiful place with great vibes decorated with small bells and ceiling with yellow lamps and beautiful flowers
Hospitality : smiling staff and co operative too
The things I had here :
🍽 idli plater : consists of four idlis 1 ragi , steamed , mangolian, rawa : 3/5
I loved ragi idli a lot
I loved the taste of sambhar served with it
Chatni was ok.
🥄 navadhaniya Dosa :
A Dosa made up of Multigrain base with loads of coriander in it tastes yum which shambhar served.
🍸 elaneer cooler | 1/4
I found the drink too sweet but this is the way the drink is supposed to be
It just don’t match my taste bud
🍽 masala uttappam
A think base Dosa topped with tamato onion and peanut chutni just tastes amazing with the sambhar and chatni served
🍽rasam Wada | 5:5
The best dish I had here it’s dam yummy

Appam With stew: Classic dish done very well. The appams were the right thickness and the stew was absolutely delicious
Malabar Paratha with Paneer Chettinad: The parathas were very good and paired perfectly with the flavourful curry.
Pesarattu: A moong dal based dosa which is green in colour, it was nice and crispy and a must try!
Elaneer Cooler and Masala Buttermilk: Both were really good
Madras Diaries is a must visit!
Madras Diaries is a very pretty
63 covers Vegetarian restaurant, that feels like you're dining at someone's house in Chennai or Cochin..
Colorful walls painted in earthly tones, huge hand painted multi-coloured wood-curved entrance door.
The decor has subtle hint of rich Southern culture - Bell shaped lantern lighting, a green background wall, decorated with metal small bells. It's not like a typical Udipi restaurant.
The relaxed home ambiance, a great place to enjoy amazing South Indian vegetarian delicacies created by Chef Murugan.

2. Masala Buttermilk: It was perfect.
*Mains*
1. Pesarattu Dosa: Moong dal dosa which is absolutely amazing and something I had never tried.
2. Stew Appam: There were 2 soft fluffy Appam served with stew which was delicious.
3. Chettinad Paneer with Flakey White paratha: The parathas were marvelous and the paneer was so soft and perfectly cooked.
4. Mini Idli: It was fried idli with podi and other spices and came with a coconut chutney. Another perfect dish.
*Dessert*
Bread Halwa: This was their speciality and an excellent way to end your meal. It wasn't too sweet and was appetizing.
I would like specially mention the 4 chutneys that we were given at the start. They were out of this world. I highly recommend this place.

Thank you very much, your food is valuable and exceptionally good. Muzaffar Manor, Shop No. 7, Ground Floor, 28th Rd, Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400050, India
We ordered thali, it was good, having different taste than regular madrasi food.nice ambiance, Hotel is not too big. People may have to wait foe their sitting turn.
In AC room it's hot and I am sweating, better to be in non-ac.
It’s a very feel good place with authentic madras cuisine, menu design is worth noticing and the ambient music is also Madrasi…
Absolutely gorgeous outdoor seating right next to a busy lane. Absolutely finger licking good food. The restaurant serves vegetarian authentic South Indian cuisine. The flavours are clean, simple and wholesome. The service is surprisingly fast as well. A must visit for anyone who enjoys the cuisine or is looking for a simple experience.
One of those days when you spend ages scrolling for lunch ideas and then decide to return to the last place to check if it was/ is as good as it was on the previous visit. I am pleased to report it was excellent. I had the Kodi Dosa, very simple dosa with a thick layer of podi (no potato masala) and I also had the Bel Bhat which is a vegetable curry cooked with the rice.
If you want to have a lavish South Indian spread for breakfast/brunch/lunch then this is the correct place for you!
A must try on any and every dish, Medu vada and uttapam to be precise.
The best part is each food served is with a range of chutneys that would suit for different taste buds. Absolutely loved the chutneys and the entire combination. Vibes are very relaxing and the best part is the location is so prime and accessible. Taste is desirable. Service is excellent.
