Maharaja Bhog ♥️ as name suggest one can have authentic Rajasthani and Gujrati thali.
The restaurant has a traditional Rajasthani decor, huge plates and number of bowls for different items.
we were welcomed with kairi sherbet which was refreshing. After the drink, different servers started filling the thali. We started with the farsan items which included dahi vada, daal vada and dhokla, along with chutneys. Among the sabzis were palak paneer, aloo gobi, pulses etc can be enjoyed with various indian breads like bhakri and pulka etc. Superb desserts like amras, sheera and accomplishments like variety of papads and pickle and salads.

They serve the best thalis with amazing taste. It’s the best place to order a thali for delivery. Their executive thali is one coming up with 1 veg serving, 1 paneer serving, dal fry, rice, gulab jamun, papad churi, salad, and 2 varieties of faraan ( 1 fried and 1 steamed). The taste is amazing one can fall for.
And the best part is their packaging, nothing gets mixed up in the delivery and it stays warm too.

Having looked at their website and read some of the reviews I thought it would be a good idea to finally try out the Maharaja Bhog in Juhu. Since I was feeling particularly hungry that afternoon, I thought to myself, why not treat oneself to a good thali.
In India one can get the pleasant experience of eating from a banana leaf or Silver or Brass dinning sets. This was to be a Brass experience. I love these Brass plates, small bowls and goblets. They bring about a thought process of something great to be expected, much more so then Silver, I feel. Something from a bygone era.
Anyway the waiters started off the proceedings by serving a welcome drink of sweetened fennel water, which was quite refreshing.
Then came the various courses, each served in small bowls and plates.For those of you who are not familiar with the thali system, here is a brief description of a typical set up and process. The Manager was friendly and explained the dishes cooked in the respective prevailing season.
The meal is all served at once starting with some form of salad, some Farsan( samosa, kachori or dhokla type), some chat along with the various chutneys. Then the main course is served which usually consists of a dall, some Khadi or yogurt based dish, usually a couple of vegetable dishes, and a lentil dish. These along with a couple of sweet dishes make up the main part of the meal. A form of a rice dish is also served at the end, usually two or three choices are given of the type of rice dish.
The buttermilk had an interesting mint flavour and was good. I certainly rate the Halwa the best among all followed by Dhokla and off course the variety.
Overall I'd an amazing experience here and a big thumbs up for Team Maheshwari for the amazing hospitality.
Indian food is always the first love and this was truely justified to my recent invite at Maharaja Bhog. The place with great spread of Rajasthani and Gujarati food. This menu changes everyday. The day we visited the spread started with Saffron Welcome drink, 2 starters, dal bati Churma, paneer sabzi dals, kadhis nd desserts had Jalebi, Fruit custard and Gajar ka halwa.Everything tasted just amazing and the team Ashish Maheshwari has just superb hospitality. The food is unlimited and they serve with love and dedication. Its not just food but an experience in itself .

Who doesn't love thali? And there's no better place then having a stomach full delicious pure veg thali at Maharaja Bhog.
I visited the Juhu outlet with a friend for Lunch today. The items on the menu changes everyday. So it was different then the one i have already tasted earlier at a different outlet.
They serve you with love and you can feel that very clearly on the way they insist on having once more with whatever is finished in the thali.
Having said all this, i don't really need to describe the items i had today. See it for yourself in the picture.

One of the best vegetarian thali places in Mumbai. I visit them quite often. Best part about the place is that while you'd be really full hogging those amazing food but yet it is light on your tummy.
Also the preparation is very simple but yet ridiculously delicious. There's quite a lot of variety in terms of the items that they serve in the thali. The balance is perfect. And not to forget, the extremely courteous staff who'd never fail from their duty of feeding you extra even when you're full. A Must Visit!

I liked the place for its quality food and nice presentation. The bowls were golden coloured and we felt like we were dining like a Maharaja.
The starters were really good including mirch vada and ring Dhokla. The main course had mix veg gobhi and gatte ki subzi. I really liked the gobhi subzi.
The one thing that will make me visit this place again and again was its Gujrati kadhi. It was so amazing that I had it at least 3-4 times.

Out of the 5 Outlets for this chair of restaurants, we visited this one at Juhu Tara road just a couple of minutes away from the beach on a sunday afternoon for lunch.
Traditional ambience with royal sofa seating and welcoming staff. Serves an unlimited options of delicacies from Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Your meal starts with Kesari Chandan (with essence of saffron and sandalwood) and ends with a meetha Paan.
The highlight of our meal was Karela ka sabji and Khichdi with ghee on top.
Liked the 4 daal and kadhi options and halwa, apple basundi for sweet dishes.
The cost of the Thali was around 620rs with taxes. Also they have a Meal Box at affordable prices like 170 -280 rs.

We honestly don't remember all the dishes names as we were so overwhelmed with choices. But the one dish we will never forget would be their aamras! we are so glad to have visited during the mango season as the aamras was truly exceptional.🔥
Also, the staff is really sweet and they make sure your plate is refilled the moment you finish any dish.
At the end of your meal you'll have to loosen your belt to make some room for the food (just like we did).😂

The Maharaja Bhog this place is just different from any other restaurants I have ever visited . It's is loacted near Juhu . The interior of the restaurant is so unique and different most of the utensils are made up of copper . Well this place just cant disappoint you,be it any of the branches.
To start with,the kesar sharbat and then one dish after the other. You just cant stop eating. The menu keeps changing,so make sure to check out the day’s menu.
Jalebi was good and so was the apple halwa.
The Juhu set up is a little small as compared to their other locations,so make sure you reach early to avoid the waiting. Id prefer the other locations over this one.

I went here last on Mother’s Day with my family to celebrate this special day with my mom! But well, better late than ever right?!
And I can safely say that after a few other thali places in town, this one is the best! And the best one in the Suburbs though. The place is alwayssss packed on weekends especially Sundays, and we had to wait a good 45 min but was worth it.
The feeling of royalty seeks in immediately with the regal wall tapestries and the pure brass/ copper Thalis and glasses, automatically making you feel like a “maharaja”!
Then commences the food! Oh so much food! From 3 kinds of chutneys, to bhoondi raita, to fryams, to sweet and spicy dal and kadhi, 2 types of farsans, roti, puri and even some stuffed paratha. The chaat here was amazing which was similar to a ragda pattice. To add to it, khichdi / rice and 2 types of sweets were served along with 4 types of bhajis!
Considering it is mango season, aamras was served in heaps!
Something that really distinguished the place from the other thali places was how waiters dressed as per theme would come to each individual and wash their hands with a silver jug of Chandan water. And the welcome drink of kesar! And the paan at the meal end.
To add to our happiness, considering the date - the manager offered my mom a voucher for a free thali for the next visit! Couldn’t have asked for a better end to the Lunch! Surely gonna keep coming back!

Had visited Maharaja Bhog *Juhu* last night. The place has grand and royal look making it welcoming vibe.
Simple table holding one large bronze plates and several katori and glass of unequal height. Really sumptuous thali.
We were welcomed with Aam Panna which was truly refreshing. Puri, churma and roti were soft and relishing.The food was fresh and absolutely delectable.
There were various Sabzi served with the bowl of sweet dish as well. Apple halwa was too good.
After the drink different server starting filling our thali.
Being the summer season, we were served with thick aam ras.
You don't have to get up from your place to wash your hands ✋ before and after meal as the staff provide vessel for it.
Maharaja Bhog is not just a thali but experience with some authentic food and good hospitality with a good blend of Rajasthani and Gujrati menu.

If there is anything that makes me break into a sweat when it comes to food, it is a thali.
So was I here to have Bhog, Maharaja Style!
We sat down to a simple table holding up huge bronze plates (yes, I could already feel the bile rising in my throat) filled with many katoris of varying sizes and two glasses of unequal height.
A liveried attendant arrived with a big tokri that held a cow miniature with a coin slot on top, a bowl full of one and two rupee coins. He asked us to put a coin in the slot ; They impressed us with the fact that this is to signify to each guest that for every thali consumed at Maharaja Bhog, one rupee is contributed to gau seva.
Dig into the delicious thali here which is a mix of Rajasthani and Gujarati vegetarian dishes. The menu changes everyday. The place is quite crowded during the meal hours but the smart allocation of space gives you a sense of space and comfort even when full.
The Staff's warm-hearted service with a continuous propel to have some more completes the homely feel aura which the desi dishes reflect.
The meal was completed on a note that all Indian meals are—with a paan.
Priced at Rs.585+taxes on weekdays and Rs.635+taxes also, there are delivery meal boxes priced at approximately Rs. 270. The taste and hospitality surely worth the price.

I rarely write reviews for any restaurant, but I feel like I'd be doing this place a disservice if I didn't!
Firstly, it has amazing food. Everything we had was so full of flavour, and the spicy kadhi was to die for. I loved it. And the moment the staff realized that, my bowl was never empty! The food is so fresh, and presented very beautifully, that you end up eating more than what you think you can.
Secondly, the service is just perfect. Everyone is so polite, very attentive, and so very friendly that you feel comfortable, happy, and satisfied throughout. In fact, just as we were about to leave, the manager (I think he was the manager, I'm not too sure) just quietly said, you can't go without eating aamras! We laughed and said we'd finished around 3 bowls each. He shook his head and just gestured to one of the servers to give us one last bowl of aamras before we left, and we left with really full tummies and big smiles.
I never thought I was a thaali person but this place has changed my mind. Please, please go there whether you're on a date, family dinner, or in the mood to just eat alone. It's worth it. Take it from someone who rarely eats thaalis but now will keep coming here again and again!

♥️ Maharaja Bhog, a Mumbai born premium Rajasthani Thali brand started by Mr. Ashish Maheshwari. The thali experience at the restaurant is not just about serving sumptuous Rajasthani food, but also the warm hospitality which Rajasthan is known for.
💠 The restaurant has a traditional Rajasthani décor. Here they also have tables which serve one large shared thali for four. The place has a grand and royal look which makes the overall vibe quite welcoming.
🍱 Once seated, we were welcomed with a Kesar Chandan sherbet which was unique and refreshing. After the drink, different servers started filling the thali. We started with the farsan items which included the daal baati churma, mirchi vada and ring dhokla mariwala. The bati (wheat flour ball) was crunchy and went well with the daal (lentils) perfectly. The server doused this with spoonfuls of ghee which elevated the taste. The dhokla mariwala was lightly peppered, soft, and spongy, served with coconut chutney. Among the sabzis our favorites were the shahi gatta, a thick and creamy curry with soft, well cooked gattas (balls made from besan) and the tindola chips, crunchy fried tindola tempered with mustard seeds, hing and other spices. The daal and the kadhi served had two versions each – Rajasthani and Gujrati. The Rajasthani version of dal and kadhi were spicy and delicious and the Gujarati ones were flavorful with a sweet tinge. All three rotis – pulkhas served with ghee, satpadi roti (traditional Gujarati roti made with seven grains and spices) and bajra roti served with gud (jaggery) and makkhan (white butter) complemented the curries, dal and kadhi.
🥭 Being a Summer Season , our thali was also decorated with a bowl full of Aamras. And to be honest , the aamras was droolworthy that we ended up having around 5-6 bowls of it throughout.
✨ Maharaja Bhog is not just a thali, but an experience with some authentic food and warm hospitality to match. The restaurant claims to serve a different menu for each day of the month. Probably in the bargain, paneer makkhan masala was served which seemed a departure from the other Rajasthani or Gujarati items. We just hope that this does not happen too often.

Amazing food. Totally fingerlicking good.
We visited for lunch last week and it was one of the best family lunches we have ever had. Maharaja bhog Juhu, has been a family favourite and we have visited this restaurant in the past as well.
The Highlight of the meal was delicious AAMRAS. Thick, perfect sweet made with fresh mangoes the aamras was so good that I had 4 bowls of it. And yes they serve food with a lot of love. This makes the meal all the more worthwhile.
The meal starts with seating down and a welcome drink follows. It was the kesar sharbat which was so cool and refreshing in the scorching heat out doors. A complete palate cleanser.
Then come the starters, a mix of steamed and fried both. The cheese roll ( fried starter ) was outstanding. The white dhokla was soft, pillowy and flavourful.
Then came the dal bati, it was topped off with a ladle of ghee. It was so good.
Then came the food, special mention to the achari tindora and the paneer capsicum masala. Amazing is too small a word. Methi and badi sabzi was brilliant as well.
They also offer different renditions of dal and kadhi ( sweet or non sweet )
The breads on offer were mini kachoris, doodhi thepla and fulkas.
There are options for pulao, khichdi and steamed rice in the the rice section. It is served with a lot of love and oodles of ghee.
The desserts served were moong dal halwa and cheeku halwa. Both were unique and quite delicious.
I, Would like to thank the founder and director, Mr Ashish Maheshwari for this amazing concept. The warm welcome and feeding with love makes this experience more worthwhile.

There were also piping hot Phulka Rotis, Methi Thepla & Puris.

Had heard a lot about this place.. Finally got a chance to visit it. Really sumptuous thalis. Great variety of starters, veggies, dal, kadi, khichdi. The amras was heavenly! The chaas was also really delicious. Expect a waiting of 20 mins on weekends.
One suggestion.. They could include some nice chat options as well in their thali. Very good hospitality.
Maharaja bhog - a wonderful Desi style restaurant believing in 'Atithi Devo Bhava'. A huge space perfect for family outings and so with groups of family and friends. The staff is quite welcoming. You don't have think about the menu as the days menu is already fixed.
Being the month of April, it's time for raining Mangoes. The star of the Thali is 'Aam Ras and Puri '. I'm not a die hard fan of this combination but the wonderful hospitality made me enjoy this one really well. Besides this, Papdi chat, angoori rasgulla ki sabzi, rasse wale aloo, kadhi and pulav with gatte was lip-smacking.
A complete thali giving a balance of sweet, spicy and sour. To end the meal, they serve buttermilk and it's just amazing.

I have been to many fine dining restaurants around Mumbai but I haven't felt quite pampered the way I did when I visited Maharaja Bhoj. The staff was extremely polite and graciously ascorted me to my seat and offered me a chandan and kesari welcome drink.
This elite dining outlet has a truly indian palace kind of ambience and the staff literally treats customers like King's and Queens. I did not have to get up from my seat to wash my hands before my meal as the staff provided a vessel to wash my hands in.
The Thalis offered here are truly massive and I was thrilled to know that they were serving aam raas with the thalis. The food came pretty quickly and I was offered two types of bhajis, two kinds of chutneys, one daal and one khadi.
What's more, they also offered me two full sweet dish bowls which was dudhi halwa and the aam raas of course! The food was fresh and absolutely delectable. The aam raas was the highlight of the thali and I enjoyed it with the fresh puri's and Roti's that the server's kept bringing to me.
They also offered me two huge helpings of veg pulao and dal khichdi. I also loved the tasty chaas they served when I was almost finished with the meal. And by the time I was done eating, I only had enough room for their special paan.
I am extremely grateful to the Founder & MD Mr. Ashish Maheshwari and his staff for treating me like a real Maharaja and offering me one of the absolute best thali's I have had in my entire life.
We were a group of seven who visited the juhu restaurant of maharaja bhog. Great ambience, great service, very good staff... all of them but one of them who attended on us was Mr. Jora Dewasi, a very cordial staff member who took very good care of us. Maharaja bhog is a fusion kitchen that serves Gujrata and Rajasthani cuisine together on a thaali. This wonderful venture found by Mr. Ashish maheshwari has many outlets in India as well in other countries. I recently visited their juhu outlet, which is located just opposite juhu beach on the main road. As I entered I was welcomed and I must say the staff here is really very well trained. This place and the people here believe as "Atithi devo bhava" Which means the guests are like god and they legit provide the service in the same manner. Mr bharat assisted us very well the whole time.
So they start by serving the welcome drink made with kesar & chandan which promises you that just a sip of it can make you forget about all your problems and refresh you. And then they continued serving two appetizers, dal baati 4 vegetables, 3 Indian breads, dal, kadhi, salad, small papads & in rice they have options - Khichdi, pulao and steamed rice, in sweets they served 2 different types of halva and finally aamras 😍
Every thing served was rich in taste and extremely delicious❤

Rajasthani Gatta
The classic dish mandatory in a rajasthani thali, gram flour dumplings in a mild spicy yogurt gravy.
DAL/KADHI
Rajasthani Kadhi & Gujarati Kadhi
Dahi kadhi: the gujarati kadhi was sweet (white kadhi) while the rajasthani curry was mild spicy yellow kadhi in a runny consistency.
ROTI
Fulka, Satpdi Roti, Plain Puri served hot from pan to plate and drizzled with pure ghee.
RICE
Paneer Bhurji Pulav & Khichdi
Pulav was good, non spicy & Khichdi was bland topped with a spoonful of desi ghee the chutneys and pickle complement the khichdi well.
DESSERT
Chawli Dal Halwa
Halwa was parched and mild on sweetness was a little unusual to my palate, it may differ from person to person

Had heard a lot about their aam raas last summer, so I had to try it this season without fail.
They have one premium thali which has 2 sweet items,2 farsan, 4 varieties of vegetables, 2 dals/ kadhi, roti and rice/khichdhi.
It was authentic and royal, the aam raas was kept on pouring & I'm not even complaining about it.
The food was simple, delicious and comforting.
We all are well aware about the hospitality of MB and it goes without saying that the staff is extremely sweet, polite and warm, they make sure that you have tasted everything.
You should definitely visit them at this time of the year to enjoy the mango season to the fullest with their unlimited aam raas best eaten with puri.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maharaja Bhog Juhu a popular restaurant known for its delicious unlimited thali. I must say I was thoroughly impressed with my experience.
First and foremost the staff at maharaja Bhog were excellent. From the moment I entered the restaurant I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The wait staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the different dishes on the thali and they were more than happy to answer any questions I had. V quick service
Now let's talk about the food. The unlimited thali at Maharaja Bhog is truly a feast for the senses. The thali consisted of a variety of mouthwatering dishes such as dal Bhati , churma , kadi dal. Papad. ,2 sweets. subzi (vegetable curry rice chapati and a range of flavorful chutneys and pickles. Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of spices. I particularly enjoyed the paneer tikka masala and the masoor dal both of which were bursting with flavor.
Overall my experience at Maharaja Bhog was nothing short of excellent. The unlimited thali was a culinary delight and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Maharaja Bhog is a classy restaurant known for its regal ambiance and traditional Rajasthani and Gujarati thali. I have been to this place couple of times an they have never disappointed me. They way staff welcomes you and treats you is so good. I always enjoy the experience of having different things in my plate. Maharaja bhog will give you a royal and welcoming feel where you can enjoy their unlimited thali.
Firstly they welcome you with their Tilak tradition. Then before starting to serve the meal, they provide you with hand wash service.
The thali is then served to you. Here you get multiple food items including their welcome drink, chutneys, pickles, fryum, vegetables, dals, rotis starters, types of rice and desserts.
In welcome drink they will serve you their mild and sweet kesar sarbat and chaas. Then you get raita, red & green chutney, followed by vegetables like moong, palak, aloo & bhindi, and dals like gujrati, rajasthani, kadi with rotis like fulka, Puri, and Sindhi roti.
Their starters are also delicious like dhokla, Sindhi koki, tikki. Types of rice like plain, pulav and khichdi and lastly their dessert which is not to be missed like amras and moong dal halwa.
Lastly end your meal with paan.

Maharaja Bhog at Juhu is one of the best Veg Thali experience in the world. I have tried Maharaja Bhog at other locations but Juhu is undoubtedly the best so far. I highly recommend their Thali on weekend, caution watch out for crowd and parking.
