Went there on a Thursday night and wasn't disappointed at all.
The service stood out, as did the ambiance. The place is surprisingly spacious and the decor is rad!
The bar staff is very corteous and swift with the demand of the drinks.
If you love Japanese cuisine, you will love the food as well.
The beer menu is a slight let down but nothing that can't be taken care of. All in all a great experience.
A must visit for all Sushi lovers. Do take their UNLIMITED Sushi buffet. Yes, it does include only 4 type of Vegetarian, 4 Non Vegetarian Sushi Rolls and 4 Nigiris. All of them are the basic ones. But they are UNLIMITED.
Took my fiancé for his birthday lunch here. He’s a big fan of sushi and oh my this place did not disappoint. The ambience is excellent, service is top notch and the food especially the sushi is out of the world. The salmon sushi was extremely tasty. We filled ourselves up in so much sushi that we couldn’t finish the mains. But definitely recommend this place for that special occasion or date.
Fun experience. Great live music, delicious starters, efficient and friendly staff
A friend and I had gone for the unlimited sushi/ dim sum offer for lunch - it was a meal I'll never forget! I was blown away by the variety that was offered to vegetarian sushi lovers which is not something found in most places. Each piece of sushi was very generously prepared and the flavours were popping. The staff was amazing; very hospitable and friendly. Only minor downsides - the ladies restroom was TINY (a very uncomfortable experience) and it was quite dark in the whole restaurant. I understand that dim lighting sets the mood but during the day, a little more light would have been appreciated. Looking forward to visiting Shiro again - especially if there are such amazing offers!
Shiro has a respectable palette of Japanese delicacies. The prices are slightly heavy as would expect with the quality. They have gone and tried to recreate a authentic oriental Ambience.
The buffets starting from afternoon is worth the price.
They provide no less than 12 varieties of sushi and dhinsem.
The staff are professional and cordial. Ready to answer any questions. The Japanese sensibilities of dining can be somewhat jarring to get used to. Especially those who aren't acquainted with the chopsticks.
And the food itself is a nuanced experience to those familiar with Indian cuisine.
Go visit if you are a foodie and looking for a different culinary experience.
Great food and and good service too. Good ambience, although
A little natural light would help. Hear they are going in for a major renovation so hopefully that aspect will improve.
Must visit. Authentic pan Asian food and great ambience
Oh how I love the sushi they have here!!!
For once, they have a decent selection of vegetarian sushi, the avocado sushi being the star of that menu.
They also have interesting drinks, and a variety of desserts. Do try the lava cake, it's the most satisfying lava you'll ever have!
Food is average. Nothing great for this price. Ambience is amazing. If you want to hang out and drink and be wowed this is a good choice. But if you want similar food but of much better quality I'd say Yautcha at BKC is much better
Fantastic Food and service. We had taken an unlimited Dimsum and Sushi menu and both were brilliant. The Non Veg Maki was good but the veg ones were brilliant. Anil, our server was very attentive and made our experience really great
Lovely ambience, amazing food and cocktails are decent too. The place is a value for money for people into Japanese food. Happy eating !
Great food with excellent service. Only drawback I felt way the two level seating. If u going for Sunday brunch try to be on ground level where the good layout would be.
Good food and good music and buxom statues can't go wrong with that, can get quite loud certain nights but that's not a problem, just stop talking to whomever your dining with! Also the Avocado Sushi is quite good!
I went on my birthday, I liked the place, food and drinks too. This is fancy place, foods item are little costly, so people can go for party and in special occasion. Really nice place :-)
When you first walk in, you're greeted by a life size statue of what one can only describe as some Asian Mythical Goddess. Shiro has massively high ceilings along with stone walls and three distinct sections for dining and partying. There is an upstairs section which has the most table and gives you a lovely view of the entire space below. Another section below for more private dining and larger tables and the rest split into the dance floor, the bar and a few low lounge-like tables for those who want to be closer to the DJ. The food is a mix of Asian cuisines including Japanese and Malaysian dishes........
