Parabola is a casual dining restaurant serving cuisines like North Indian, Continental and Lebanese, it's a part of the Rodas hotel, which is an ecotel
Started the meal with a welcome drink, which was quite rejuvenating and refreshing.
We had:
#APPETIZERS#
1. Labbe mushroom- if you like mushroom, you should try this one
2. Murg angara kebab- as the name suggests quite spicy but tasty, well grilled
3. Chandni Chowk to china- amalgamation of Chinese and tandoor, one of the best dishes that we had there
4. Bhutta chatpata parmesan tokri- masala corn kernels served in a tokri that is also made of corn flour
5. Dabeli- though not an appetizer as such, but was a great snack to munch on, it was spicy, tangy and sweet
#MAINS#
1. Kadhai paneer- paneer and bell peppers, medium spicy,
2. Murg lahori- tender chicken pieces in a thick, creamy gravy, unique blend of flavours from various spices
3. Dal bukhara- made only with whole urad lentils, with a nice tandoor flavour
Breads-
Cheese chilly naan- heavy and spicy
Paneer kulcha- again it's heavy cause of the paneer stuffing, but soft and melts in your mouth
#Dessert#
Parabola mastani- a falooda sort of a dessert
The ambience and interiors are quite spacious, it's well laid out. A perfect place for family/friend gatherings..
Parabola is a part of the hotel Rodas where they serve buffet with wide range of dishes.
The place has a quite an impressive ambience. You will mostly find corporate or family crowd over here.
We were served some veg and non veg appetizer
Aloo cheese tikki: the aloo tikki was crisp from outside and soft and flavourful from inside. The cheese stuffing was very less. I wish it had more cheese stuffing to so that the dish could do justice to the name.
Mutton seekh kebab: the minced mutton was fresh and flavourful. The kebab need to be more soft and succulent in texture.
Chicken Cajun Tikka: this fusion dish was creamy in flavour and was very soft. I just loved this unique fusion.
Amritsari fish fry: did not meet my expectations. The batter had more of besan and less of fish.
They had a good spread of other indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes in their buffet.
They served us mini falooda in the end. It tasted delicious and was not too much sweet.
Visited Parabola, an ecohotel by Rodas for lunch buffet last week. Very impressed by the overall hospitality and amazing dining experience. Right from the appetizers to the desserts, the buffet spread had some amazing dishes. This place is truly a heaven for all foodies. Will definitely visit again soon.
Located in heart of Hiranandani, this place has amazing ambience. Their service and food is amazing. We went there for breakfast buffet. The have wide variety and food was just amazing. We tried aloo paratha, yoghurt, dosha, noodles and upma. Everything was just amazing
Recently I have been there for dinner. Its located at Powai.
.
.
We were so much hungry so we preferred to take their delicious buffet.
.
.
In that buffet...Some starters were there,Mocktails, main course,Chaat ,dessert were there.
.
.
I just love that Orange mint Mocktail which was so refreshing.
.
In buffet there were 3 vegetables,2 types of Dal, variety of roti/Kulcha/naan etc.
.
Veg and non veg both they serve.
.
Ambience is really lavish.
.
Service and the staff courtesy was really appreciated.
Parabola by Rodas Hotel has one of the best buffet in Powai.
We visited to try out their lunch buffet last week. The cocktail served was really good - Lynchburg Lemonade and One Step Down. Among starter's what I loved the most was the Fish fry, chicken cheesy tikka and Cheesy potato. The main course spread had some delicious variety. The biryani and Dal masala was very good in taste. The dessert section was the best overall. Rasmalai, Gajar ka halwa, mini pastries like tiramisu and carrot cake were perfect sweet treats to end the buffet. The interior of the restaurant is amazing especially it's ceiling.
Overall, we had a delightful experience.
The term Parabola in mathematical language means a symmetrical design of cones intersecting with one another, this idea has been nicely captured in the artistic design that runs through the restaurant ceiling.
Parabola is the gem of Rodas Ecotel in Powai which has been operational for close to 18 years now and catering to the lifestyle requirements of the niche clientele around.
Visited for a Sunday brunch, this small (50 pax) yet accommodating (Cleverly designed) restaurant has huge window glasses filtering in natural light and an ideal place to sit and dine while watching the outside world go by.
The buffet selection though not an extravagant spread is well thought out and you manage to get a good value for money considering the dishes available!
We started off with a round of drinks :
‘Golden Eye’ was a subtle mix of Whiskey, Honey & squeezed lime – Smooth in each sip and well balanced with a hint of all ingredients!
‘Non-Alcoholic Bubbly’ was a fizzy drink topped with cranberry & orange juice.
To get our appetite started the ‘Seafood Soup’ was full of flavors and loaded with mixed seafood such as rawas & squid rings tossed in.
Moved to the appetizer section : We were served 5 varieties (3 Non-Veg & 2 Veg) of freshly made and well presented at our tables!
- Aloo Cheese Tikki
- Malai Paneer
- Mutton Seekh
- Rawa Fish Fry
- Ajwaini Chicken Tikka
My favorite pick from the above is ‘Aloo Cheese Tikki’, these were very creamy and almost melt on your palates kind of tikki, followed by Chicken tikka which was succulent and packed with flavors.
A special mention to Malai paneer for being as soft as butter while the fish rawa fry (Basa) was a crunchy surprise.
For our Mains we had a plethora of options from Chicken Dum Biriyani to Chicken Gravy to Fish cooked in honey chili sauce to Dal Makhani & Pasta for the Veg lovers and much more.
We savored the rich Dal Makhani & Mutton Kheema along with freshly made whole wheat tandoori rotis. The Mutton kheema was simply delicious and rich in flavors with the right mix of spices & generous helping of minced mutton & chick peas, we went for our seconds and had the same thing again. Not to be missed!
For the desserts, a mix of Indian & Western were part of the spread and around 6-8 option available for the sweet addicts!
We settled for ‘Gajar ka Halwa’ served hot and felt homemade followed by ‘Coconut Brownie’ this felt like eating a Bounty chocolate bar and a thick but not so sweet Panacotta concluded our first round.
They send a special ‘Angoori Rabdi’ and a custom made ‘Falooda’ with chocolate bits added in; a nice touch to end our dining experience.
Chef Deepen has curated a very impressive menu and all this offering is modestly priced at 750++ which in my personal opinion is a steal.
The staff is well attentive and always around to assist you, hygiene standards are impeccable and most importantly the quality of food is simply perfect!
Will definitely visit for their buffet offerings for sure!
This place is located in Hiranandi Powai opposite Powai Galleria . Went to this place to try their dinner buffet which was a lot of variety to choose. The ambience was also very classy and the music was good. The staff was very friendly specially the chef who first visited us to tell us about the things we can have and after the meal took feedback from us. Coming to the food we had.

There are few restaurants which impress you not only by food but with their extra ordinary hospitality, This place has done something similar to us!! we were extremely happy with food taste & their Hospitality which was on point.
This place is located in the centre of Hiranandani Powai with Superb decor & ambience. coming to food, we went for Dinner buffet here
Initiated with Starters:
They serve starters on table which has 2 veg starters & 2 Non veg, As we are vegetarian i got Corn cheese tikki which was the dish of the day for us. It was medium spicy tikki with a piece of Almond on top and loaded with cheese inside. This dish nailed it.
Paneer tikka: It was big chunks of soft paneer served on table. It was again delicious and going great with green Chutney.
To our surprise they served 2 more veg starters for us which was unexpected.
Moong dal pakoda was again freshly prepared for us and fried very crispy just the way I love that.
Veg kabab: It was again not spicy and good.
The only drawback about starters was i had to call them again & again to refill that but they were kind enough to do it quickly. I would suggest them either staff should be ready with refill on table or portion can be increased to avoid refill waiting.
In mains:
They had Indian & italian in buffet set up and varities were really good
Potato in cheese sauce was the best dish from the mains.
They made pink sauce pasta on request for us which was again mind blowing. It was perfection of Cream & spiceness.
Paneer vegetable was also there which i had with freshly made Butter garlic naan. You can order indian breads as per your choice whi v is the best thing rather then keeping it ready.
In dessert:
Rasmalai: This melt my heart!! It was softest rasmalai with goodness of milk & saffron. It couldn't get better for sure!!
Kiwi pastry: It was again ecstatic!! I could feel the freshness of all the dessert while having it.
Moong dal halva: It was loaded with desi ghee all over. It wasn't over sweet and balanced as a whole!!
Custard, Shreekhand, and Brownie were also there along with 3 flavours of ice cream!!
The best part was chef was coming on table in intervals for feedback as well as If i want them to prepare something else as per my Likes!!
This can never get better!!
I would Highly highly recommend this place to all the foodies, Especially if you are craving for Low spice Indian food.
Really looking forward to visit again!!
This needs no introduction In Powai, Just located inside Rodas Hotel serves Fantastic buffet. The ambience is quite classy & soothing with Extremely premium service on table.
I went there for Dinner buffet and The varities were outstanding. Special mention to their corn cheese tikki which was out of the world.
The quality of food cannot get better for sure.
Overall Ecstatic experience!! Highly highly recommend this place!!

Breads-

I have explored almost every place in Mumbai where you get the best breakfast. But this was something different, it was not on a street or any local shop but it was a buffet in a 3star hotel. So i was pretty much excited for it because if you go for any type of buffet at such places one thing you will definitely get is the quality.
Ambience is on point, huge windows from which you can see powai streets also the light is good because of that huge window. I am amazed by the ambience & the presentation of the food.
So as i was expecting this place to a huge amount of variety & they had. Right from the cup cakes made up of oats to Kelloggs, eggs, omlet, grilled chicken, sausages, bacon, South Indian food, soups, juices, salad, tea, coffee, buns and apart from this if you want anything more you can say it to them & they will surely make it.
Probably it's more than enough but still i ordered pan cakes & it was so amazing that i am not gonna eat from the cafés out there. Service was so excellent which everyone expects from this type of restaurants. Nitesh & the manager was a gem of a person.
Overall it's a awesome place to have your breakfast. You must visit this place it's not that expensive. Varieties are most important in buffet & i think they have nailed it. Only bad point was they close the breakfast at 10am which is little bit early

We tried their RepublicDay Special Lunch menu
We started with tomato soup and let me tell you I am not a fan of Tomato soup. This one made me fall in love with it. I loved the fact that no extra cream was added in it. It was heavenly in taste. Fragrant and tasty.Paired it with freshly baked buns and Breadsticks match made in heaven. Highly Recommended

Presentation and flavours of each dish were on point.
We were pretty full yet we were brave enough to try main course. It looked so tempting we couldn't resist. We tried Subz nargisi kofte, Paneer Jaipuri Masala and Tawa Sabzi. Paired it with simple roti. It was absolutely delicious.
Coming to the Desserts we tried white forest pastry, trio mousse, mathura ka pedha, rabdi rasgulla and gulab jamun. It will definitely fullfill your sweet craving.
This has been the best buffet that I have had in a while. Do try their buffet it's wholesome, filling and delectable.
We had a great time here at Parabola restaurant. I was here with a friend for a lovely lunch, and we left the place with happy, filled tummies.
The lunch had a varitey of food preparations lined up for us, starting from an array of starters, breads, soups moving to finger licking delicious mains and ofcourse, not to forget the sweet tooth desserts.
My personal favourits would be the Hariyali Chicken Tikka because it had such a tender, gentle yet delicious taste, made to perfection.
The cheese bread pizza was also a light and yummy snack which I enjoyed.
Speaking of enjoying, CORONA BEER was truly the best of beverages that I have tried.
I was pretty full with the starters, so I skipped the mains which too were delicious, but the desserts were what I had to attack.
Malai Sandwich, Chocolate Barfi, Cheesecakes, Parties, Mousse and a lot more! Loved them all!
Had a great time in here and I definitely would urge you to try out Parabola!
Thanks!
Parabola is a very beautiful and a cozy place at Hotel Road, Powai. I happened to visit here to try their breakfast buffet and I was highly impressed. Their breakfast included the almost every possible breakfast option. They had both Indian as well as English Breakfast options. I had their Masala Dosa and Rawa Idli with amazing sambhar and options of chutney. Truly impressive. I also had their Spanish cheese omelette served with tomatoes and sprinkled with herbs. I also had their range of parathas, served with pickle and curd. It had a very homely feeling attached to it. I ended by grand breakfast with a cup of cappuccino that was a perfect end to my breakfast. I would highly recommend Parabola’s breakfast buffet. Best wishes to Team Parabola

Parabola restaurant, located in the very popular and elegant RODAS HOTEL in Powai, has a wide wide range of delicacies prepared for you. Be it a huge breakfast spread with more than 50 healthy as well as tasty preparations so that your day begins in a perfect way (also, the breakfast is so huge, it can br qualified as a brunch!) Or an extavagant spread of starters, mains and desserts for lunch, Parabola has it all!
We went herr to try their lunch menu, and we came out being super full and extremely delighted!
The interiors are simple yet very crisp and professional, and being located on the ground floor you can enjoy your meal basking under the pleasant sunlight. The staff is very courteous and helpful, ready to tend to your needs with a smile.
The buffet had a very large spread of preparations, but we were lucky to try out some of the best starters perpared by their chef.
We tried KASUNDI PANEER TIKKA, HARIYALI TANDOORI CHICKEN, CHINESE SPRING ROLLS & CRISPY FISH. A complete array of starters was laid on the table and it looked so mouth wateringly tempting, I didn't know where to start from. Also, we tried their BREAD PIZZA and SAMOSA CHAAT, even though I throughly enjoyed its taste, I couldn't ask for more because Main course and dessert was just wating around the corner. The 'meetha chutney' accompnied with the samosa chaat was heavenly! The bread pizza, topped with bell peppers and cheese looked colourful and tastsed even more so. To be honest, I was pretty full just with the starters itself!
We also sipped on a chilled bottle of Corona, while relishing on the starters.
As I said, I was almost pretty full but still I tried a few bites from their Mains. MURGH LABABDAR, FISH IN CRANBERRY SAUCE, PANEER BUTTER MASALA, SUBZ SAHI KOFTA were the sabjis I tried, amongst a few more. Each one seemed tasty than the previous bite I had, and it was like an explosion of flavours in my mouth. A simple Butter Roti complimented these sabjis wonderfully. Be it the sweet and tangy taste of the cranberry fish or a burst of indian spices and flavours from the Paneer butter masala, it will definitely make you lick your fingers!
Coming to the desserts, MANGO MOUSSE, AMERICAN BAKED CHEESECAKE, FIG PASTRY & BANANA PASTRY were the starters in the dessert section! They were followed by CHOCOLATE BARFI, MALAI SANDWICH and for the dessert mains, MADHUR MILAN, a concoction of Motichoor Laddo crush and delicious gulab jamun! The desserts were a meal in themselves, and if you are having a sweet tooth craving, be sure to get in here and satiate that!
We had a great time here at PARABOLA, and the whole experience was fantastic. The food, the service, the hospitality, everything is taken care of here. Be sure to visit them and enjoy a delicious spread for your next weekend plan!
Happy Burping!!!
Lovely place to try the buffet , specially breakfast buffet.
It’s was amazing.
They had continental as well as Indian food.
The dosa was great then even the masala omelette was delicious.
There were so many juices which were super fresh.
Staff was also really humble and nice.
Lovely experience!
After going through all the good reviews on this app, we decided to go for dinner here. We opted for the buffet option. There were four starters, the mini sabudana wada and chicken starter was good. The fish starter was a bit salty. Main course had a good mix of cuisines. The noodles and mongolian gravy, pasta in pesto sauce, chicken kolhapuri was very tasty! Fish Amritsari had an overpowering flavour of turmeric and was salty, couldn't get to feel the other flavors in it. The dessert section stole the show! Gajar Halwa was great!! Even the caramel pudding and pastry's were yummy! The ambience is good, it's cool if you can go for lunch here, the place will look even more beautiful with all the sunlight pouring in. Since it was a weekend when we had been, the rate per head was a little higher. The service was good.
Thank you Anthony for amazing service. Delicious food. Nice service from the whole team. Thank you so much

Food -
**** We ordered : 1-Saffron chicken & chilly soup, not very spicy but it was delicious.
2.- Paneer pepper chilly fry, this is a must try dish
3-Five Spiced Hot Pot which was good but I didn't find the 5 spiced flavor.
4- Thai curry with rice - This was well balanced aromatic curry with veggies.
Value for money***
Will I go back to this place? Yes I will.
We had arranged a small function for my son. The entire menu was vegetarian of our choice. All the dishes very tasty and well served. Anthony (Resto Manager), Wilson & team were very kind and helpful and very prompt in their service. Chef Depeen & team had also served us a delicious food. The food quality was excellent and all our guests loved it. Thank you all!!
I pre-booked a table here for New Year’s Eve and arrived to be smilingly, happily and ably guided by Mr. Anthony Paul, the Manager of the restaurant, to a huge table! I would really like to take a moment before describing the food to thank Mr. Anthony and Mr. Kaustubh who really went out of their way to make us (the two of us feel super comfy and ensure we are well-fed and watered).
The staters and salads were just too many and too amazing to taste! There was an entire platter of fish, (pic attached), non-veg, veg, etc..options that make you more ravenous than you already are and spoilt for choice.
We also got a glass of sparkling wine on the house which again was delicious and also had some mojito which was very well-prepared. For the mains, there was pasta, chicken curry, lamb, roti, mutton biryani along with veg biryani and a lot more. I must offer my compliments to the chefs who put in their hearts and souls to come up with the best dishes to end the year in style and panache!
The desserts drove me crazy! There was Gajar Halwa, Sugar-free chocolate mousse, Kala Jamun and an assortment of pastries. They also gave us cute eye masks and small whistles to bring and ring in the new year.
We had loads of fun and I am going to cherish this dinner for a long time to come! Hope to see Mr. Anthony and Kaustubh soon. 😊
Had amazing dinner at parabola. Had cream of broccoli soup, and i loved it. Also i had tandoori babycorn and brocolli here. Both were amazing with perfect marination specially brocolli which was perfectly cooked. Also chef suggested an appetizer which we had it was indo chinese appetizer, chilly chicken with malai chicken filling inside. It was somthing different and good. In mains i had Grilled Panner with Veggies and i was good. Chef specially made a vegan dark chocolate dessert for me and that was one of the best desserts i ever ever had. Even gulab jamun was too heavy with all saffron flavor and it was too nice. A must visit to parabola for amazing food.
One of the best places in powai. The ambiance is great. The best part is view. Food is also good. We tried the breakfast spread and it had a lot of options
This is located in Central Avenue, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. Ambience is good. Settings is nice. Staff is friendly. They sever an excellent lunch buffet. They have a huge variety in the menu. The chicken starters are very good. The taste of all items is really authentic.
Parabola is a lovely restaurant located in Rodas Hotel right in the heart of Hiranandani, Powai. I recently visited to try their Lunch Buffet.
The ambience is so good with such pretty interiors. The service is also excellent. We enjoyed their Buffet which had so many options.
I loved the N-Veg appetizers and the Salads from the Salad section especially the Chatpata Chicken Salad. Also the Babycorn Chilly was a new and unqiue dish that we tried.
In Main Course I enjoyed the Chicken Biryani and Mutton Gosht. These dishes were full of flavours.
Finally we ended with the Desserts. It was a huge spread with options like Chocolate Mousse, Shrikhand, Kiwi Mousse, Rasberry Pastry and Dudhi Halwa. I loved all these Desserts.
Food: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Value for Money: 5/5
This place is located at the roadside and has a good view of hiranandani. A quiet ambiance with light music, makes it a perfect place for get togethers.
Have tried the buffet here on multiple occasions.
The soup and breads provided are a perfect match.
The have a good selection of salads
The starters are good, but the best ones are the ones that are brought to the table. But they come very slowly.
In the main course, the indian curries are slightly watery.
The continental main course is quite well made.
Their live counters keep changing. Not al was ays a fan of that, but loved the pasta and kathi roll counters.
All in all a very good place for dining.

My Overall Verdict:-
You might think the restaurant is a bit overpriced but I am sure as compare to the quality of food & service every spend penny is worth.
Anyone can visit. A good place to spend some quality time & have awesome food.
The only thing which was disappointing is when I asked for some fresh fruit juice they said it is not available.
Since I can't give 4.5 in rating hence going with 5 ratings. The reason for 4.5 is fresh fruit juices were not present :(

We were at this brilliantly located restaurant right around the hustling and bustling circle of hiranandani Powai. What I love about it is the view, you could just sit there for hours and watch as life rushes by. Ofcourse as long as you don’t have to rush through. We were here to sample a special menu that picks up flavours from across India and adds a modern twist to it.
This special menu is priced at 1300 plus taxes and is available only on mondays and tuesdays. Here’s what the chef special menu selection showcased:
1. Beet root Thupka - Thupka is one of my most favourite things to eat and this one was heady and delicious with oomphs of flavour.
2. Tricolour Dabeli - a twist to the quintessential Dabeli, this was the masala stuffed in a hard Pani Puri sort of Puri. Quite nice.
3. Mirchi lagi - a coating of spicy chilli besan around fish for the non vegetarian and Paneer for the vegetarians served with the cooling kadhi.
4. Portugal ki nishani - this was a sort of chicken roulade served on a bed of rice.
5. Seviyyan ki musaafar - The Lucknowi Special seviyaan just as we have it at home.
Enjoyed the special menu and the brilliant service of the staff. Will come back for the food and the view.
This place is good for buffets !! Yesterday went with cousins for a lunch buffet party and liked the food quality which was served .. the ambience is nice and cool .. All the staffs were very poliet !!
Unbelievable value for money. I say unbelievable because its in the heart of Hiranandani. I can’t believe that in the at least more than 30 times that I’ve been to LPQ, it never crossed my mind to try Parabola. Today was my first mostly because LPQ had a 30 mins wait. This place is a gem. Had the nalli ghost and dal tadka with butter naan. Taste and portion was just right. Their buffet is a deal, will try it soon enough.
Had an awesome time here and then how the people talked to u made you feel comfortable like home. The hotel guy named Pradeep was really great and friendly
and gave me the perfect coffee for the morning 🙂
As the area of hiranandani powai goes by its name, so is a restaurant named parabola which also goes by its name because of the lush interiors and the beautiful ambience .There is a ongoing sea food festival in the restaurant which lets you enjoy various sea food dishes and lets you savour food mainly made by chef Nimesh Limaye and also under his great supervision

Parabola is up with its punjabi festival and we were served lipsmacking punjabi dishes starting from aloo cheese tikki, panner tikka, chicken tikka, ajwain fish, aloo ki tuk chat to sarso da saag along with lassi in mains and moong akhrot ka halwa with nazeem ki nasakhat in desserts. Everything went good. The desserts were the best.

Parabola - Hotel Rodas
Panjab to Parabola- Name itself gives you the hint of delicacy which they are serving. Authentic Punjabi cuisine has come to parabol in rodas as a food festival. The menu is curate dby celebrity chef Nilesh Limaye so can really assure that the dishes which will come on table will be really authentic and delicious. Enjoyed this food festival and now a days its rare to see authentic cusine as everyone is busy doing innovations. You can certainly visit this Punjabi Food Festival in Rodas soon, I am sure you will love it for sure.
Location- Located on the corner of the Hiranandani in powai, certainly a oldest hotel of this area.(5/5)
Theme- The restaurant is running a interesting Punjabi food festival specially curated by celebrity chef Nilesh Limaye. (5/5)
Ambience- As the theme of the festival is Punjabi food, décor was made upto the same level. Menu card also was of the shape of old Punjabi trucks. Lighting was colourful which can show the joy of Punjab. Seating is really comfortable and the view of the road outside from the restaurant is excellent. Punjabi music was playing throughout the dinning time so it was also giving that feel of the theme. (5/5)
Food- They got few special cocktails you might can try or even mocktails, we tried a mocktail and beer as was wanted to keep place in my stomach for the delicious food. menu of this food festival is curated by chef nilesh Limaye who is the celebrity chef and it was done in style. Best part was the menu card had limited but premium dishes. The menu is categorised in combos like chole kulche or rajama chwal then starters, main course and then desserts. The dishes which can see in the menu are really popular in Punjabi cuisine and they were done in style. Presentation and portions were spot on. Each dish which was made had that master punch from the chef.
STARTERS
• PAANI PURI- Speciality from Jalandhar which was served, had punchy/smoky taste in spicy pani which was served in a shot glass and had different but tangy chutney in the puri. They have old monk pani puri too and it was nice and strong.(5/5)
• PANEER TIKKA DILLDAAR- Paneer marinated in red chilli, Indian masalas and hung yogurt and then cooked further in the tandoor along with green pepper and tomato chunks. Paneer was super soft and fresh; margination was spot on here. A must try dish for paneer lovers. (5/5)
• KHUMB TAK A TAK- Button mushrooms cut in half or quarters and tossed with whole masala and then tawa masala. I tried something similar first time. Loved the juiciness of mushrooms in Indian masalas. (5/5)
• RESHMI KABAB- Chicken chunks marinated in saffron flavoured Indian margination and cooked in tandoor. Margination was good but they were little hard might be over cooked.(4/5)
• LEMON FISH- Soothing to palate. Thinly sliced fish marinated and batter fried soft enough and then coated/tossed in lemon sauce. This was the dish of the day. Really lite and had mild flvours with lemon as a main flavour. Must order. (5/5)
• MUTTON KEBABS- Mutton chunks marinated in desi masalas with hint of nutmeg and garlic and then chargrilled. Normally mutton chunks needs good cooking and skill but chef did this perfectly, full marks to chef as it was cooked well and was soft and juicy too. Great job chef.(5/5)
MAIN COURSE
• BUTTER CHICKEN- Perfect butter chicken of Amritsar I can say. Buttery, creamy and flavourful too, go for it I am sure you will love it. Texture and consistency of the gravy was spot on. (5/5)
• MUTTON MANJEET RA RA- One of my favourite dish. Mutton cooked with mutton kheema and flavour of ajwain and ghee. Certainly, a really heavy dish but worth trying. Mutton was cooked really perfectly and enjoyed sucking that nalli. Just wow. (5/5)
• AMRITSARI CHOLE- Such a popular and excellent dish this is. Chick peas cooked in onion masala with tea water and authentic spices. Thick and flavoursome chole are must try.
• KULCHA AND NAAN- Cant go wrong here, loved the kulcha more. Butter chicken and kulcha was best combination.(5/5)
• MAA KI DAAL- Coming to a restaurant who is serving Punjabi cuisine and not trying maa ki daal is crime. Whole urad daal cooked overnight and then cooked with tomato based and then with butter and creamy, touch of Kasturi methi to it. (5/5)
DESSERT
• KARARI JALEBI RABDI- Thick but crispy jalebi topped with homemade rabdi and then garnished with sliced dry fruits. Best part was that it was not really sweet. (5/5)
Parabola
One of the finest dining experience in Powai. Parabola restaurant located inside of Hotel Rodas. Recently visited this place for their Punjabi Food Festival which is there till 30th June 2019.
Ambience was classy and beautiful. Seating was comfortable. Foot tapping Punjabi music was played in the background. Celebrity Chef Nilesh Limaye curated really good menu specially for this festival.
Also, they have daily lunch buffet as well as A La Carte menu options.
Started with Pani Puri which was stuffed with masala and sweet and tangy chutney on top of shot glasses filled with spicy water.
What we had here.
Appetizers:
Aloo Tuk: Dum aloo crisps tossed in tamarind and green chutney. Texture was really good and taste wise it was subtle.
Paneer Tikka Dildaar: Paneer in red chilli and yogurt based marination. Just perfect dish. Nice glaze to the paneer.
Ambala Aloo Cheese da Chaska: Mashed potatoes stuffed with cheese, coriander and chopped chillies. Made well. Good to order.
Lemon Fish: Chef has balanced the dish well. The flavors were so good. Tasted heavenly with mint chutney and diced onions.
Mutton Kebab: Bit chewy. Informed to the Chef about the same.
Reshmi Kebab: One need to have this. This is old school recipe which we are trying since childhood. Full of flavors.
Mains:
Butter Chicken: Spicy and smoky touch to butter chicken. Thick gravy as expected. Loved the dish.
Mutton Manjeet Ra Ra: Mutton was tender as expected better than Mutton Kebab. Taste was mild spicy. Perfectly balanced the flavors.
Sweet Lassi: Creamy and very delicious.
Desserts:
Karari Jalebi Rabdi: Must Try. It was so heavenly.
Akhrot aur Moong Dal Halwa: Not that sweet. Perfect!!!
Kulfi Falooda: Happy and satisfying ending to my meal.
Overall, go asap to this place for Punjabi Food festival which is going to end by 30th June 2019. Looking forward to visit this place again in future. Cheers!!!
Food: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Ambience: 5/5
P.S: The review is strictly depending on my personal experience.
Punjab Food Fest is on at this place for the month of June and it is one of the best experiences to dine here.
The place is centrally located at Powai and the view is nice, the staff is very attentive and hospitable, however the service needs to be a bit quick.
The ambience of the place is fantastic for family, groups, couples and is kid friendly too!

◾DRINKS
1) GOLDEN EYE 👍
A wonderful mix of whiskey+honey+lime. Perfectly balanced, not too strong and complemented the food very well.
*** RECOMMENDED ***
2) MOSCOW PUNCH
This is a mocktail which is orange based and has the tanginess of lime. Subtle flavours of pineapple and cranberry makes this very refreshing.
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
◾FOOD
1) PANI PURI SHOTS 👍
These are Puris stuffed with masala and sweet and sour chutney served on top of shot glasses filled with spicy water. You can also get a peg of rum added of you like
2) ACHARI PANEER TIKKA 👎
These were fresh and thick pieces of paneer marinated in tangy pickle flavour and grilled. I felt the marination was a bit less and there was not distinct flavour of the achar.
3) CHOLE KULCHA 👍
I absolutely loved the chole, and the Kulcha was not exactly like the way I have had in Amritsar, however, it was nice, very crispy and topped with sesame seeds. Served with onions, pickle and curd. Very filling!
*** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***
4) SARSO DA SAAG AND MAKKE KI ROTI 👍
Yes, how can one not have this when we talk about Punjabi food, this too was nice! They need to apply ghee or butter to their rotis as they tend to get hard due to the air conditioning. But apart from that, the taste Is wow!
*** RECOMMENDED ***
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
◾DESSERTS
1) AKHROT AUR MOONG DAL HALWA 👍💓
This was a complete winner for me of the entire meal. The best I have had till date! Piping hot Halwa having lots of chopped walnuts. Perfect sweetness and right amount of ghee!
*** HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***
2) KULFI FALOODA 👍
This was also very delicious, Malai Kulfi pieces in sweet milk and falooda, there is a thick layer of rose syrup at the bottom, make sure to mix it well before having!
*** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***

Wonderful experience and would surely come back for some more scrumptious food!
Parabola is running out with punjabi festival and i had some punjabi dishes here. Corn and panner kebab which was made soft and too nice, i really liked their stuffing. Panner tikka was good, panner was soft and juicy. Also i had aloo ke tuk chat, it was good. My friend had mutton seekh kebab, chicken tikka and a fish appetizer, he found all the three very nice. Coming to mains i had sarso da saag along with makke de roti. It was nice. I also ordered for dal makhani and rice. Usually i dont have dal makhani but here it was too too too good. I had lassi along with it. Lastly i had desserts, karara jalebi with rabdi as i love the combination of gujrati and punjabi, i liked the akhrot and moong daal halwa too. The best of all was their naseem ke nasakhat, mini gulab jamun with baked rabdi and boondi. Isnt the combination unique. The dessert was also unqiue and tasted too good. Overall my dinner was simple and sorted.

52nd Restaurant to be rated a complete 5on5 by me.
Parabola is located in Hiranandani Powai and it is easy to find due to its amazing structure from outside and it is on the main road too.
The ambiance is aesthetic and classy with a super amazing artistic ceiling made. The huge windows which allows day light to come inside the restaurant during lunch time is mesmerising as the view of the road looks great. As rains are going on i just loved the set the overall feel of the property. Seatings are comfortable plus tables and chairs are nicely placed away from each other and options are great for all size of groups.
Celebrity Chef. Nilesh Limaye is the executive chef here and he has worked really well on making the best possible menu here. This restaurant have multiple options when it comes to eating here. They have buffet daily plus a mix of global & local A La Carte menu and apart from these two they regularly keep special menu focusing on any cuisines or occasion they celebrate. Hence the variety offered is amazing and prices are not too high and it is at par with similar type of fine dine places.
I went here for exclusive tasting of their event 'Chakh Le India - Punjab to Parabola' where Chef. Nilesh have brought amazing hand-picked dishes from Punjab with ingredients sourced from there itself.
The 'Chakh Le India - Punjab to Parabola' festival is till 30th June so make sure you visit them before its over.
I went herr for lunch and the service offered was excellent as Manager Anthony kept track of our table and he shared his story with the brand. Staff Wilson made sure that our table service was smooth as he was proactive also I got the change to meet Chef. Deepen who explained us the concept and the menu nicely also he came to ask for feedback every time which was indeed an amazing experience.
APPETIZERS~
VEGETARIAN~
Paani Puri -
From Jalandhar. Soft puris filled with sweet chutney, mashed chickpeas along with cumin seed and served in spicy chutney taquilla glass tasted excellent. Both the chutneys were flavourful and the cumin seeds adds outstanding punch to the paani puri.
Paneer Tikka Dilldaar -
Soft & fresh paneer in red chilli and yougurt marination grilled perfectly tasted delicious. The marination was spot on and this was in few instance when the paneer didn't tasted boring.
Ambala Aloo Cheese Da Chaska -
Mashed potatoes mixed with cheese, green chillies and coriander tasted too good. The dish was smooth as the elements used didn't had the grainy after effect plus it was less oily so enjoyed eating this.
NON- VEGETARIAN~
Reshmi Chicken Kebab -
Juicy chicken pieces cooked in tandoor with saffron marinade tasted outstanding. The texture was great and the taste of saffron just elevates the dish.
Mutton Kebab -
Mutton kebabs marinated in curry which was garlic based and this was the 1st time when I tried mutton in a restaurant as I don't eat mutton due to its smell and trust me here it doesn't smell and you don't feel that you are actually eating mutton as the secret is the 12 hour marination before the cooking. Taste wise it was great not too chewy and had nice amount of garlicky flavour.
MAINS~
Amritsari Chhole -
Looked spicy but wasn't. Chickpeas cooked to perfection added with special spices tasted good and it went well with the kulcha.
Rajma Chawal -
Red beans curry full of flavours. Ate it with rice and tasted perfect till the last spoon.
Langar Wali Dal -
From Amritsar. Mix of urad, tur, moong daal thick in texture and light flavours tasted divine
Sarso Daa Saag Te Makkey Di Roti -
Better than what I had in Punjab. Mustard leaf mashed gravy topped with loads of butter served with corn roti tasted marvellous. Not pungent in taste but super delicious.
Butter Chicken with Cheese Naan -
From Amritsar. This dish cannot go wrong and they executed it with perfection. Thick gravy with chicken chunks, not too sweet and had mix of tangy and spicy flavours. It also had little smokiness which was indeed great.
DESSERTS~
Akhrot Aur Moong Halwa -
Loads of ghee. Made from moong dal and topped with walnuts. Not too sweet but heavenly and yummy.
Kulfi Falooda -
Mix of kulfi with flavoured syrup and milk. Creamy and tasty.
Rabdi -
Thick and delicious sweet rabdi topped with cashews.
MOCKTAILS~
Virgin Litchi -
Litchi & mango juice, coconut milk and vanilla ice cream. Looked stunning and tasted super good.
Moscow Punch -
Orange, pineapple & cranberry juice and sweet sour mix. Tasted decent and can be improved further.
So the meal at Parabola was indeed a memorable one. The special menu was great in every manner, the service was excellent and the ambiance is super nice. Therefore do visit here you won't be disappointed.

Had their buffet diner which was rightly price for the variety of foods and the desserts. Loved their range of desserts too. Service was also excellent with instant responses.
On a sweltering April afternoon, as I ambled through the narrow alleyways around the main square in Hiranandani, Powai, I experienced an unexpected lunch urge. It was early afternoon, so most restaurants were just getting ready for the lunch service; they were not yet ready to serve. That’s when I spied large flex posters with pictures of fish and the usual tempting adjectives. It was the Parabola restaurant at street level in the Ecotel Hotel on Central Ave in Powai.
Setting aside the street appeal aspect, the entrance was obscure. Except for the large overhead posters, the signage for the restaurant was vague. I braved on and walked through the metal detector arbor. As I walked past the double glass doors, there were a couple of either coy or timid wait staff, nervously shuffling through a limp register of sorts. I got their attention and confirmed that it was the Parabola. The inside looked fresh, bright and eminently inviting. The sun drenched look, thanks to the French windows and the view facing the street and the Powai square was a bonus. The decor was contemporary and the predominant colors were mahogany (furniture), pastel green (upholstery), with beige being the filling color. The air conditioning was the most welcome feature at the time. Loved it. Ambience was top shelf.
I got seated; my timing was so good, I got to choose my seat. I went for the window seat. The wait staff promptly came by, informed me that the buffet service was an hour away, that the a la carte menu was available and pretty soon brought me the menu. The menu was crisp but the layout lacked a discernible cuisine wise listing. Initially, I was leaning towards a Tom Kha but then I did not find an Asian entre to pair. After a mental struggle, I opted for the Shepherds Pie; I know, that was quite an about turn.
While I waited for the Shepherds Pie, I cooled myself down with an ice cold fresh lime soda. That was refreshing!
The Shepherds Pie came shortly thereafter. It was served in a rectangular cast iron casserole/crock. The look was very appealing.
The mash potato had tinges of oven burn marks. My first spoonful was a delight. The stew was interesting; it had tiny diced vegetables like carrot and an occasional fragment of whole peppercorns. The taste was as true as it could get.
The mash was also interesting in that it was smooth as silk and the oven burn was spectacular and enhanced the overall flavor of the mash. Although I cannot fully vouch for it, I did feel an occasional stringiness in the mash, which could have been melted mozzarella. Regardless, the overall rendering was perfect.
The garnish was freshly chopped coriander (although parsley would have been my personal preference).
The condiments that came with the Shepherds Pie were oregano and dry, red chili pepper flakes; I did not attempt to use any of these condiments. Full marks for the humble Shepherds Pie.
I opted for the Super Smoothie for my dessert. It was a natural blend of fresh yogurt and a mix of blitzed fresh fruits. The taste of the smoothie can best be described as fresh; the tiny fragments of fruit were none too overbearing. It was refreshing and light - just the right dessert to have after the filling meal.
Overall, the food gets a roaring two thumbs up.
After the timid welcome, the waitstaff exuded a warm hospitality throughout my meal. I was given a choice of seating, the fact that buffet was not being served at the time was not harshly announced, rather, the waitstaff gently offered the la carte menu offerings as an option. I got my beverage loaded with ice cubes, without any fuss. For all those reasons, service gets a two thumbs up.
My impromptu meal at Parabola was a pleasant experience. Ambience takes first place: the almost 360 degree window view, the decor and the music all claim recognition. Food was simply outstanding; it was authentic and it was served with elegance. The dessert really completed the food experience. Service, though started shakily, ended strong. I have no qualms about suggesting this place to the foodie community. As for myself, Parabola will be among the top in my list of lunch spots in Powai.
Cheers!
Four or five times I was there at Parabola and every time I got very good foods.. Really it is a good place to hangout with friends and family.

Starting with,
Crab meat soup: The in-house speciality, bring you authentic crab flavour, along with egg and button mushroom, bringing out a lovely combination.
Seafood manchow soup: All these years I have never come across manchow soup flavoured with seafood. Was all excited for trying out this one, Indian and Chinese combined together. Seafood combined with manchow blended pretty well with the seafood flavor indulging in spicy manchow soup.
Quick bites of prawn popcorn marinated in spicy masala and deep fried are good to go with during in between intervals.
Calamari rings: Squid rings deep fried giving the classy crispy texture on the outside and squishy inside set out alongside the garlic flavor was more than just perfect.
Prawns Khad-khada: Prawns cooked in saraswat masala (spicy Indian masala), grilled and roasted bringing out the spicy flavour is an absolute irresistible prawn appetizer you shouldn't be missing out on. A classic example of Desi prawn preparation.
Stuffed pomfret: gigantic pompret cooked with chilli and coriander Masalas stuffed with prawns filling, an example of a mix and match perfection making it supremely tempting dish on the menu. The patrons on my table just couldn't stop relishing the delicious curation by the chef and were undoubtedly in love with this seafood recipe.
Prawns khichdi: Flavoursome rice preparation in ghee with the prawn add on was truly a classy Desi treat to our taste buds. The Khichdi was so flawless with the flavors and content, really felt like an authentic home made preparation.
Ending our meal with the delightful sweet craving of Amras was surely the cherry on top to our sumptous sea food meal.
Had dinner tonight with my family and in-laws. Interestingly, it is learned that Parabola is celebrating ‘Sea food’ festival. Being Bengali, we jumped to the idea to enjoying few food delicacy.
We selected jumbo sized Crab and asked the Chef to cook the Crab boneless and conti-style. The dish came to table with beautiful presentation and exactly to our desired test.
We also ordered a full ‘Indian Salmon’. Half portion was presented as grilled one and the rest portion came in Konkan curry style. Both the preparations were excellent and a total satisfaction.
We loved the special decoration and display of the various types of Sea fishes.
A special thanks to Parabola’s F&B manager, Mr. Anthony for special care and managing the entire event meticulously.👌👍🙏

Had recently happened to Visit Parabola nestled in Hotel Rodas in Powai.
You need to visit this place to understand why place is named Parabola.
I was here for a Dinner Buffet. Menu is priced well as compared to the locality.
The dishes for the dinner was curated by Chef Harjyot and he has done a wonderful job.
So let's see what we tried here after some refreshments.
Chat Prawns Tikka, well marinated and perfectly chargrilled in yellow spices served with mango chilly sauce.
Achaari Murg Tikka was done to perfection, giving the brilliant pickle flavour, the chicken was well done.
Try their Chicken Ravioli, till now I had only tried veg Raviolli and the chicken version won my heart.
On request, the chef got us Dal Makhani with rice. Yummy delight, creamy gravy and the Rajma was cooked nicely.
There was again a chef special Dessert, with fresh fruits, cream tart, chocolate which looked appealing and tasted deliciously good.
Loved the experience. Great staff. The buffet had a decent variety but the taste could’ve been better. One thing that I really liked was that the store wheelchair friendly. Great interiors!

This is located in Central Avenue, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai. Ambience is good. Settings is nice. Staff is friendly. They sever an excellent lunch buffet. They have a huge variety in the menu. The chicken starters are very good. The taste of all items is really authentic.
Parabola has a quiet ,subtle ambience. We went on an official dinner and tasted some tasty starters like Nachos with a mayo sauce dip, chicken and mutton kebabs and tacos.
We loved the Malvan fish curry with rice. The kebabs were a bit dry and overdone but the main course was awesome.
We had breakfast here every morning of our stay. The team was amazing. So many great hosts. Sagar is amazing. He memorized our orders and had them ready when we began our day. He also remembered it was one of our group's birthday and sent up a cake. The staff made our time very enjoyable.
Amazing experience at Parabola last Sunday where we had 50+ guests for a birthday party. Mr Anthony (restaurant manager) and Mr Waghle (head chef) ensured that we were served a wide and tasty spread of delicacies (notable mentions : tandoori kebabs, mutton rogan josh, chicken biryani, thecha noodles). The chef was kind enough to arrange a special kids counter with cupcakes, donuts and appetizers. Service was excellent and swift. They were flexible with us adding some birthday decorations as well. Mr Nitish Pandey played the guitar and sang some impressive songs (recommended).
Valet parking is available. Overall, a great place for group lunches/ dinners - the special attraction is the parabola shaped glass wall that overlooks the busy Hiranandani road/ circle - even more beautiful by the night.
