I love 5 spice for one major reason - their quantity. It's crazy. One plate can easily be sufficient for two people. Not everything can be made Jain here. However, the pecking rice is just my all time favorite. And yes, their desserts - rocky road and mission impossible are to die for.
Pecking rice is a bit spicy. But isn't our Indian Chinese food always spicy. Infact I love that spiciness. The colour, the taste is just so amazing.
Can't wait to hog on it once it opens after lockdown
Visited this place twice. Both the times, the food was good and the portion was filling and worth the money.
The only problem is the waiting period go get a table. ๐
If you are new to mumbai then probably you can visit the nearby asiatic library meanwhile your friends get the table. ๐
This place has nice Chinese food. There are a lot of people who order chicken triple Schezwan fried rice and chicken munchurian from here as its tastes is just authentic.

What amazing portions! A wide variety of oriental gravies and rice dishes - both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. While the interiors and the lighting could be done up, the fokd is absolutely satisfying.

Had been there for a family dinner. I had ordered the Mangolian pot rice. The quantity is quite good. It can easily serve 2 adults. The food taste quite good. This is a must visit place if you are in mood for some Chinese food. The staff here is courteous.
Staff is a little bit dominating and not attentive what the customer tells them to do. The food is superb. The fortune rice, Cantonese lamb, shezwan triple rice, chrispy chicken is just amazing. They don't take zomato gold offer.

One of the best restaurants for Chinese food. Wide variety of vegetarian options. Love the Kung pao potato and pot rice. The quantity is emmense. Must have dessert- mission impossible. Though you might have to reserve it as it gets over pretty soon. An amazing place for a good hearty meal.

If I wanna have Chinese 5 spice is the best and how can I forget the dessert which just cherry on the cake specialy Rocky Road Nd Mission Impossible which I can finish all alone all though I try to do that but each Nd evertime I fail.
Had tasted Mongolian rice, awesome dish with loads of chicken and great taste. Would recommend to try the dish atleast once and will end up repeating it next time.

The place has amazing ambience, chill place which is air conditioned, good standard crowd, comfortable seatings. The chinese food served here is heavenly & the best chinese iโve ever had specially the chicken crispy, american chopsuey, masala dry lollipop & soups.
Food is freshly made & served very quickly, the customer service is very perfect, quanity of the food is good it can be shared between two, talking about the prices the rates are not so cheap but it is reasonable depending upon the conditions & quality of the food. This place is known for it's desserts. The Chinese dishes served here are pure authentic. They are damn tasty and price worth. The quantity provided is sufficient for 2. The quality of the food is also taken care. The ambience is quite pleasant. Most preferred dish is Peking fried rice and the dessert is always Mission Impossible. One should definitely try this menu.

The servings are quite generous. Three people can share a noodle/rice dish. Expect the food to be a tad spicy (unless you give specific instructions). Thai pot noodles- give it a try!

We ordered crispy chicken fried rice with fish in oyester sauce. Quantity and quality is perfect. Love the ambience. Took a little time to prepare but really worth the wait. In desert we had rocky, and it was mind-blowing,a must try.

The quality and quantity of food served here is really good. I specially enjoy the Hakka noodles and pot noodles in veg and non veg both. They customise the order as per your requirement too..less or more spicy, with garlic/ginger or without...in dessert the death by chocolate is must try!!!

Today finally I am writing about the place I have been visiting since my childhood. Itโs filled with memories with my family and the amazing food we had here. That place is none other than 5 Spice, Fort. My dad used to work in the building exact opposite to this place and used to meet us there for lunch during our summer vacations. That place is still the same. No change in the flavours or the placeโs ambience. So this time I decided to visit this place again but with my bestie.
What we ate:
Apple Chicken: No it doesnโt contain apple at all. They are chicken lollipops in semi dry consistency. Chicken lollipops ๐ are first deep fried and then tossed in oil with diced ginger, garlic and dark soya sauce along with few veggies like spring onions. Trust me when I say You eat one and you will crave for more. ๐คค
Chicken Pot Rice๐ฒ: Itโs rice mixed with gravy. It contains chicken, mushrooms, broccoli cooked with steamed rice in clay pot. It tastes amazing. Everything was perfectly cooked and the flavours just blended together. ๐
Chicken Sezchuan Rice: I must say this rice doesnโt contain food colour. Itโs rice tossed in a sauce made out of garlic and chilli pepper. Perfect quantity of chicken and spices makes it too yum.
Chicken Manchurian Gravy: Itโs gravy made of soya sauce, diced ginger and garlic, some veggies and lots of chicken pieces. It goes perfect with the Chicken Sezchuan Rice. Perfection ๐
This place even serves yummy pastries and cheese cakes which are on our list for future.

I remember this place ever since I was a child.
The taste is still amazing and the rocky road and brownie is still the most delicious pastry I ever had.
Make sure you have someone to share the dessert with as the quantity is massive specially for the price they charge its way too much in portion.
They have got a variety of tempting and fabulous items on their menu.
Their starter items are also super delicious but their rocky road and brownie is a must have

Food is awesome. Service is very poor. And water is been over charged. And I have to pay a fix service charge it's against the government rule.
Food is good but service is worst ... There was only one person for the whole ac dining and water bottle was charged for โน50 which is not done . This should be improved

Being a vegetarian I came to this place only for this lovely Desert "Mission Impossible". Which is actually impossible for 2 people to finish. The only problem is that the desert is not mentioned in their menu and you have to call the 5 Spice Branch before visiting regarding the availability of this desert.
P.S Call the branch first and ask if the desert Is available or not.

I have been here many times, and it has never disappointed with its taste and quality. This place serves scrumptious Chinese food. Do try their Crispy Vegetables, Apple Chicken, Panner Chilly and Peking Rice. Do not give a miss to their delicious dessert. Quantity is good. Rates are fare. Service is good and quick.
Tried their burnt chilly noodles. Awesome taste ! It's spicy .. exactly the way I like it. Other options are great too. You can ask the staff for good options according to your palette. Their suggestions really work.
We finished it with their famous "Death by Chocolate". This dessert really gives justice to its name. Loved it !

This was my second visit for 5 spice.
Would say, main course portion size is good for 4 people.
Started was nicely made and portion size was good for 2 people.
Was here early so got the place without waiting. Post 8 pm you can find this place crowded and there may be a long wait time so plan your visit accordingly.
Worth the price, maybe even more. Don't go here alone. Or you might have to stuff whatever you ordered and still have to take parcel home. Don't say i didn't warn you. I ordered this and had to Uber home with the parcel and had it breakfast for the next day

This place is a vintage outlet to me now. Been going here for almost 6 years. The taste hasn't changed neither has the generous size of portion. Complimentary salad is so good and the Schezwan chutney has been my favourite for long.
This place deserves 5 stars for its taste and value for money. For its Starters, they were really good as always including main course. Their quantity is big which is sufficient for two easily. The only problem with this particular outlet was the service which was very slow and that too on a weekday. Valet parking is available but do try to reach early as there can be long wait. Would recommend 5spice to everyone for its delicious chinese and sumptuous desserts๐
