This place is located in Andheri east, ackruti city, opp to ackruti centre point. The ambience is decent of this place. Thumbs up to the staff for being very hygienic. The food is awesome. I tried veg monchow soup which was terrific, coriander noodles this is actually a kind of boiled noodles with mixtures of different vegetables the usp of this dish was small corns and if you love spicy food then go for garlic schezwan noodles.
I used to often order chinese from here . Since this place is good to go for eating healthy chinese, which is super delicious and cooked to perfection, it has always been my favourite place to gorge Chinese on!
I really love their chicken manchow soup and their fried rice with Gravies !

I am a first time visitor of China Gate today in Mahakali Branch and I was happy to be a part of it. I just loved the food taste, very fine and upto the mark. The food which I had ordered was Fragrant Prawns in Chilly Sauce, Prawns Fried Rice and it was Fantastic. I thanked the Manager Mr. Rajan and requested to call the Chef whose name is Mr. Suraj who is having best experience in his industry. Very Calm and Cool Place. Staff Service is Good and seems to be trained properly. The Desserts Ordered were equally good and awesome. Definitely a Reason to visit again with Family, Friends or for any Party.
Went there yesterday for dinner. The interiors are quite decent and lovely. It was empty like on a weekday it was empty. Service was good but really slow(tested our patience).

The crab meat soup was good like I did rate that to be the best. Good quantity too. The pot rice quantity so little as compared to what I thought would be that disappointed me alittle the noodles was surprisingly good and its quantity was good enough to fill in 4people. After we ordered the desserts and almost finished it the waiter came up and gave us on the house dessert which I feel was not needed after we ordering the dessert.

I have now been and would continue to be a Regular Customer of your Restaurant making my appearances 4 Times or more a Month mostly Fridays when its time for some celebration. The Good Reasons are as under :-
1. Well Maintained Quality of Food by Chef based on my personal experience for almost 10 times since June 5th, 2019. I really Love the Food……
2. Well Trained Staff at all Levels starting from Managers followed by Captains and Stewards
3. Mr. Rajan and Mr. Pradeep have been working Hard who have been taking care of the entire Unit (Not So Easy ). I am also happy and pleased to meet the team of Captains means Mr.Puran, Mr.Harsih, Mr. Ashok. The Stewards means Mr.Deepak and Mr.Sana are equally well in their assigned duties. I don’t recollect right now each of their good names. For their Valuable Services I would like to gift them a small token of Appreciation as a benchmark. Hope this has been allowed by the Restaurant Policy.
4. The Best Thing I liked about China Gate @ Akruti is the Structure and the Entire Layout of this Restaurant which have been described in my Short Summarized Poetry “The China Gate @ Akruti”.
5. I was earlier customer at some other Restaurants but were bit boring despite having good Facilities. Things are much more different and better at China Gate @ Akruti. It’s just Awesome in terms of Food, Service, Design etc.

Overall, the food is good. Indo Chinese. The quantity for the price is great . A single dish can serve 2 people.
🍛 Triple schewan fried rice : I think the true test of a good indo Chinese place is triple rice and these have a good one. They however send over a huge portion of fried noodles which i didn’t know what to do with. However the gravy and rice together was yummy.
🍲 Pan fried Noodles : the noodles are well cooked and the sause is White. But filled with Veggies. Definetly my favorite.
🐟 Promfret In garlic chilli sauce : this was a bit disappointing. Though it was a whole fish chopped in pieces and the sauce was yummy . The fish was not fresh at all. And was a huge turn off.

🍲 Veggies in garlic chilli sauce : Fresh veggies , loaded with mushrooms , shiitake mushroom , celery , carrot , zucchini . The sauce is just right.

China Gate is a decent place to hang out with friends, family or co workers. If you're a couple, you should totally go for their buffet instead of the À la carte menu as it would be cheaper and you'd get to try more dishes that way. Their buffet definitely wasn't the best but it was totally worth every penny. The ambiance was good and so was the service. I loved their seafood starters and the crab dish in their main course. Wasn't too fond of the chicken wings as I found it too oily for my liking. The prawns in oyster sauce didn't taste that good either. The desserts were good.
Good fine dine Chinese restaurant with decent ambiance. Food was quite good with friendly service. We had the paneer dual sauce with veg Hakka noodles. For appetizers we had crispy spinach paneer with mushrooms and babycorns which was very good but little oily and spring rolls. Overall recommended for a good meal.

Most of the time I've visited to have buffet. As they have a variety of things to choose from be it soup, starters, main course and dessert.
Their starters are fresh. The chicken is soft and juicy. As well as for main course there's rice, noodles, different types of gravy and a lot of salads.

They have so many options to choose from be it chocolate pastry, red velvet, gulab jamun and my all time favorite chocolate mousse . You have to try it !!
As well, I've taken home delivery for the food from here be it noodles, tripple shezwan rice, paneer in gravy, chicken in gravy, their starters like thread paneer and crispy chicken with spinach. They never disappoint ! They serve good quality food moreover then don't use to much of oil.

We have been to this branch of China Gate twice , and this time we had gone for a Sunday brunch party. Our family had a really good time , good tasty food with multiple options and impecabble service. It was a great experience overall. Would want to mention Mr. Rajan , he is the manager who was over looking our party , making sure everything was done well and taken care of. But he helped us at 11 pm at night when we called in to check if we had forgotten our son's shoes at the restaurant & he kept them with him till we collected them. Grateful for the great service. Went for our annual diwali dinner. Very nice place, comfortable tables and seating. The food though not fully authentic was very well made and surely delicious. the manager was extremely helpful though the waiters do need to be a little better trained. overall a very good experience and would surely recommend this place.
Best chinese restaurant i have ever been to. I am not a huge fan of chinese still i loved the food. Just keep one thing in mind, never order from them for Home delivery because by the time the order reaches you, it is not exactly tasty looking, but 5/5 when you dine in. Courteous and friendly staff. I generally order only from a few selected items namely - Kung pao patato/paneer, crispy corn water chestnut, pan fried noodles with brown gravy. Virgin pina colada for drinks and hazelnut chocolate cake, brownie with ice cream. These are items which 100% wont disappoint. Going on towards a little more risky items, soups are okayish, thread paneer is good, but sometimes feels like you get bored too early of it, plus it is all fried so, subjective call. For other noodles, if you like mild, try for malaysian. Rest service is 5/5, ambience 5/5, food 5/5. Overall great. Avoid (refrain) from getting it home delivered.

One of our frequent place for team outings. We usually visit during lunch hours. They offer a good choice of starters which include variety of vegetarian dishes, Chicken, Fish and Prawns. During our recent visit really liked the creamy prawn preparation with curry leaves and Fish in green sauce. Dates roll was missing from dessert but we did not mind Gulab Jamun which was served as a replacement. Pastry's have always been OK they need to definitely do something about the sponge as its always dry. Over all a good place to visit if you want to enjoy Oriental food.

I am visiting China gate since last 10 yrs at MIDC Andheri. In my last visit I have visited on Sunday and took Rs. 1000/- per head buffet Lunch.
This time I had slide different experience then usual.. The Soup was with room temperature in Soup pot. I also bot this in notice to attendent over there.. It took about 15 min. to serve me the hot soup.. Also the number of starters is reduce. There were only one chicken option was there apart from momos.. Once the first round served then waiting time was to long as i think they have reduce the staff..
I also feel the excitement to serve also was missing.. Again the value for money feel have more opportunity as competative to previous experience this time missed with varities of food and service.
Though I will still love to revisit to Chinagate with hope there would be imrovement in service as well as varities..

I must say that i was pretty impressed by the ambiance and the interiors of the restaurant. The food was great and the staff was courteous. The menu reflects the typical mishmash of Chinese and Indian Chinese dishes. The portions are well priced and the food itself is well flavored.
Lemon coriander chicken soup is superb and so is the fish haka dry which has burnt garlic and is very tasty. The fried rice was richly garnished and tasted perfect. The service is great and so are prices which are not so steep. The restaurant has a good seating. Recommend all to visit and savor the Chinese food here
