If you’re craving an uplifting bite of glory, please make sure you check this place out. The desserts are the best I have had. Moreover, whilst I love desserts, I’m not very keen on my desserts being too sweet, so they have managed to balance that out beautifully. At the same time when I’m craving a sugar rush, they are able to satisfy those cravings as well. So it’s a must try. Only negative would be prices are a little higher, but the product of it is worth it.
Delicate and Exotic combinations of chocolate with a variety of ingredients.
A taste that lingers on your buds for long. An experience that is a definite.

A cute little outlet for Desserts.
Going to keep coming back specially for their yum macaroons!
A quaint little outlet, nestled away in the inner roads near Kala Ghoda, La Folie Lab is a delight. With elegant pastel interiors, the place has a very cozy vibe. Ordered the Trocadero, a pistachio based tea cake with elements of raspberry and pistachio dotted over the entire dessert. It was surprisingly light and packed with flavour, making if a great alternative to chocolate based desserts. They also have a great selection of chocolates and breads. Definitely worth visiting repeatedly :

This place is straight out of Instagram. Once you walk in here you can't help but pull out your phone and snap away. The pastel interiors are on point. I had the Caramel Fleur de Sel and it was the best dessert I've had in a long time. I'm yet to try out the gourmet chocolates but I'm sure that'll be amazing too. They also have the famed coffee of Koinonia roasters here. So if you're looking for a coffee+cake scene, La Folie has you covered. This is a chocolatier par excellence.

Will it be too much to say they have the best desserts in the country?
I have eaten pretty much everything on their dessert menu and I have never eaten anything that was just okay or good. Each one of their desserts have been decadent and gobsmackingly delicious. It’s pretty clear they use the finest ingredients since every bite is a flavour party. Their bounty dessert is my absolute favourite and my husband loves the Paris Brest. I even ordered custom chocolates from them for my wedding invite and all my guests asked me for multiple boxes since the chocolates were polished off the day they received the invite. The good folks at la folie went above and beyond to curate chocolates that suited my invite and made sure I received all of them in pristine condition in Delhi. Their butterscotch nuggets too deserve special mention. Whenever I have my cheat day I order a minimum of 2 desserts from their menu and my husband and I are always fighting over who gets the biggest piece.
Being from Delhi I believed for the longest time that another one of my favourite cafes in Delhi had the best desserts in the country but I have to say that La Folie deserves the title for putting out such decadent professional desserts that are every bit worth their price.
I’ll be coming back/ordering again and again and again.
Insanely good stuff. 🤤
Have been to La Folie (Kala Ghoda) twice so far and both times they were very very impressive.
They are a French inspired patisserie and while the names can be tongue twisters their desserts are extremely simple - cut, place in mouth, vanish.
Not much to their Decor at Kala Ghoda but their dessert display will make you want to try it all.
A special mention to the restaurant manager LAKSHMAN who as a very kind gesture offered us a free piece of their best seller chocolate 'Bolivia'.
Awesomness's tried:
1) Tout Chocolate - Flourless chocolate pastry and it was amazing.
2) Pistachio Macaroon - So far the best macaroon I have eaten, perfectly balanced.
3) Bolivia Chocolate - Complimentary so that made it the highlight....😂🤪
Certainly not cheap but neither are they cheating you in quality.
Great dessert options and lovely ambiance. I loved the pastries a lot. Macaroons are amazing. A must visit in colaba for people with sweet tooth.
Well showcased desserts. Must try the champagne cake with lemon meringue! The gooey centre is a treat for your palate. The choclates are imported. I recommend you to taste them as well.

I have no words for this place! Though it's a very small shop, the desserts here are top notch!
Ambience : The interiors are very chic, very well thought!
Service : The Manager of the shop is so soft spoken and he is really good at taking customers through all the options available and what you could try! I was highly impressed by him!
Food : I think the pictures of the desserts are self-explanatory ❤️ I tried two desserts :
1. The Infinite Praline - My eyes just closed on putting one spoon of this dessert in my mouth. It's so soft and has so many textures! Smooth, crunchy, creamy! You just wanna close your eyes and feel it! This one is a must try! 😍
2. Sea Salt Macaroon - I'm sure this Macaroon wouldn't disappoint you unlike the million other dessert shops that try to make a Macaroon! The meringue is made so perfectly and the subtle sea salt flavour comes through really well. ❤️
This place is not to be missed if one is in Fort! ❤️
Came here for a cup of coffee on a Rainy day and absolutely loved the cute cozy ambience!
The coffee was upto the mark too, only it’d be a little too strong for people who are not much into strong coffee.
And adding Almond milk option is always the best choice!

I heard a lot about this place and when I went to this place for the first time it was a bit difficult to find it but maybe that's just because It was a first my first time in Mumbai but I I must say it's really good . The ambiance is cozy and being a dessert fan I loved everything that I had unfortunately I forgot the names of the items that I had. Hope they bring it to Pune!!!
Charlie and the Vegan Chocolate Factory
What if I told you that you could have a delicious chocolate dessert and not feel guilty? What if I told you that you could have a beautiful sweet creation free of refined sugar? What if I told you that there’s a place named after your madness for chocolate?
La Folie Du Chocolat, which directly translates to “To Madness of Chocolate” is the cutest little gem buried in the dusty by-lane of Kalaghoda, Fort. As an ardent lover of chocolate, I’ve made it my personal mission to hunt down the most delectable chocolate heavens in Mumbai. This little patisserie is the birthplace of the prettiest, tastiest and perhaps the healthiest chocolate creations I’ve come across to date. The greeting on the doorstep which aptly says “surrender yourself” is beautifully aligned to the vibe of this place. That’s precisely what I did: surrendered myself to the dainty décor of the place, inhaled the light scent of chocolate, ogled at the creatively designed pastries and chatted with the friendly staff, ready to help with suggestions!
This little cake-shop is like a secret pit-stop for your dessert cravings. The soothing colour-scheme used to decorate the joint is sharply contrasted by the burst of colours used to create the wide array of chocolates, pastries, bonbons, cookies and macaroons. While I was tempted to go all out and try the entire range, I decided to start small and soak in the flavours of one beautiful creation.
Here’s what I tried:
1. Rocher Caramel
The Éclair-looking dessert is one for chocolate and caramel lovers. The base is a moist and soft sponge cake coated with a mix of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Next layer is five generous dollops of whipped caramel covered by a thin layer of milk chocolate decorated with specs of edible golden design. Lastly, the traditional cherry on top is replaced with a golden hazelnut on top and I’m not complaining!
Here’s the catch though, you can devour this entire creation and still feel light because it is completely VEGAN! That’s right, I was in a state of shock myself because I didn’t realise it was vegan till after I was done. The staff very kindly explained that the base was completely flourless and free of refined sugar and instead jaggery and avocado was used for the same. Most of their creations are completely vegan which means that you can go completely crazy and still not feel guilty about it!
Apart from this, I picked up a box of 9 gorgeous handmade chocolates as a present for someone. I cannot personally comment on the taste of it but going by the reaction from the person whom I gifted it to, I’m sure I won’t regret trying the chocolates on my next visit.
La Folie Du Chocolat creations are a must try! Be ready to keep your pockets full while trying the desserts here because it will surely burn a hole in your wallet (Price range: Rs. 150-350 per piece). For the love of chocolate, this place deserves to be visited and for the love of vegan chocolate, this place deserves to be loved!

An amazing asthetic cafe which gives you the tumblr feels. A pink and gold themed cafe which is so beautiful and cute from the inside. We ordered some macroons and hot chocolate in this place. The macroons were really overpriced, they had 12 flavours out of which nutella and brownie were the best flavours. The hot chocolate was thick and silky very delicious and yummy, A heaven for those who have a sweet tooth
Made this last minute dessert stopover at La Folie and dived deep into their gluten free chocolate and berry infused mini entremet. Called Toulouse this is specifically crafted, much like all thier products,by skilled chefs.
Each pastry is beautifully designed and flavoured with multiple unique and exciting combinations. This dessert cafe also offers chilled and warm beverages, including different versions of the luscious Affogato.
It's worth a visit for a sweet binge and an experience of the best of French patisserie.
Bestest place in town to have desserts!
Unbeatable. Unmatchable.
They serve excellent coffee. The Americano felt like an Americano, strong - blunt and hot! Just the way I like it.
Talk about desserts? I’ll go there at any time of the day when in Bombay just to gobble down those beautifully presented desserts by the chef and her team!
Just amazeballs!

I like this small cozy place with good quality pastry and coffee. It's a bit expensive I would say but at the same time they delivering good quality do try sakura pastry if it's still in the season as it not very strong on flavour but it's very nice.

Probably the best of the gourmet pastry and chocolate shop in Mumbai.Located in the old hidden lanes of Kalaghoda this place catches your attention with the beautiful and appealing interiors.
The whole spread of pastries, macaroons and chocolate are drool worthy. We went there to celebrate women’s day and my better half was surely liked the surprise! The pastry was beautiful and craftsmanship was amazing. The chocolate bar is what one should buy if you want to gift someone you love.Would definitely be back to try out other delights!

I tried the Hazelnut Crunch which was amazing and was a little different from the regular hazelnut desserts. The presentation was extremely appealing as well. I also tried the Macron Folie which was also very nice and crispy and well as soft when required. Both these desserts were slightly expensive but its worth trying once.
If you have a sweet tooth then La Folie is the perfect place for you..Indulge yourself in the sweetest of deserts and La Folie’s signature Belgian Hot Chocolate which will leave your taste buds wanting more!Do go and checkout this amazing place❤️
With all the fancy Instagram pictures, how could one even dare to miss this place.
Location(3/5): Though in the best locality of the city. This place is quite tough to be found. Located in a tiny lane beside some busy old shops. You may trust google for it.
Ambiance(4/5): Once you step in and all complains regarding the location immediately flush down. Feels like you’ve been transported to a little pastry shop in Europe. The brass cutlery gives it all the more special feel.
Service(4/5): We were completely baffled looking at all those pretty little sugar items but the staff was kind enough to help us out.
Food (4.5/5) : Those little things are surely pieces of art. It took us a while to gather courage to finally break into them. Taste was distinct and top notch.
VFM(3/5): 3 pieces with taxes burnt a hole of 800 bucks. Well that’s expensive. But worth it!!
The variety of desserts and the finesse with which it is prepared is magnificent
The complex taste and the simplicity with which it is depicted is noteworthy. It is an epitome of what i call, classic desserts and a person who loves their sweets must defimitely visit here!
Dessert Heaven in Fort!
If you are on a look out for some mind blowing desserts or chocolates then this is the place you got to head to!
The array of desserts displayed is like a feast to the eyes and trust me it’s difficult choosing which dessert you would want to have!
The decor is quite exemplary and it looks classy. The place is located in the bylanes of fort and also has about 4-5 tables.
We tried their Hazelnut Crunch and just fell in love with it. It was intricately designed with a crunchy hazelnut atop the dessert. It had a layer of chocolate and the bed of the dessert was made with cake and coated with crunchy chocolate.
The taste is top notch with the burst of flavours and the dessert hits the right senses! A bit pricy but value for money as the Hazelnut Crunch was one heck of a dessertogasm experience!!!
Till then Keep Eating, Keep Travelling and Keep Clicking!!
Exceptionally amazing premium desserts in town
Their desserts speak in terms of quality and ingredients they use.
If you guys have a sweet tooth craving and are around fort/ Kala Ghoda area you know which place to visit.
We tired -
Rocher Caramel - Hazelnut almond duja extremet with 65% praline and whipped caramel
Extremely classy and top quality .
Life Happens and only such kind of Chocolate Desserts can help.
Chief Foodie Officer - Eating their desserts is like entering into a dessert heaven. Each bite into it feels bliss.
My absolute favourite dessert place in fort. What delicious looking sweets and such a fab interior.
We had these two desserts one of which is called J'adore - the pink rose, was full of vanilla cake and cream.
The other one - a chocolate pastry was also delicious and we are surely going back.for more.
Am still dancing in my head! Such good desserts! We decided to close our lunch elsewhere on a high by popping into la folie after checking on Zomato that they had vegan options. We were barely a few minutes away but kept going in circle thank you no thank you google maps! Anyway expert tip- look right next to trishna- the sea food place . I had the chocolate cake which was super yummy and no way u could figure it was vegan! The hint of season fresh strawberry gave it a beautiful dimension. The staff is knowledgeable and helped us navigate options- a big thumbs up to you guys! I think if u r in fort lunching /brunch /Dinning , you should skip desserts else where and hop right here into this beautifully done dessert parlor( the pink and grey decor is so cute!) and eat to your hearts fill. Frankly the prices are also rock bottom for the kind of Michelin star quality you get , I would add value for money to the long list of positives ! P.S. my only ask is more gluten free options in the vegan variety ! PPS husband had another dark chocolate pastry and was totally blown away as well!
So firstly, hands down this was the perfect end to a beautiful evening! This place is difficult to locate but can easily be recognised from it's pretty decor, all in pink!
Tried the Rocher Caramel, price- 250/- which looked so tempting and tasted so good! Also tried the Almond Cake with Raspberries, price- 250/- which was good but could be better if the cake was a little more moist!
Found this place a bit over-priced but I guess that can be expected because this place falls into a very premium category of desserts, chocolates and coffees.
Will surely visit again to try their hot chocolate and macaroons. 👍🏼
I should be writing this after sampling more of their regular food, but this is a biased shoutout to their sourdough bread. They're hands down the best sourdough in the city. Keep up the good work.
I have visited La Folie lab in bandra quite a few times and when here I couldn't miss the chance to check this place out. I tried pista and passion fruit macaroons and was completely swayed by the wonderful flavour of passion fruit. Also tried a couple of the pastries but the best was their new line of chocolates. Just yummy! a must try place for dessert lovers!
There is something charming about old vivacious cities..Mumbai, London, Paris.. right..well what if u got a teeny chunk of a Paris patisserie right here in South Bombay...can it get better..yes!!! When u taste the food!! Loved the banoffee, the Parisien and 1000 leaves pastry..
Didn't like the intense caramel as much..actually I am not a caramel fan...the hot chocolate is rich..not sweet thankfully!! It is dark and mysterious like cocoa itself!! This place has spoiled me though..i will end up having very high standards for dessert from now on....the guys at the counter are earnest and very polite and helpful..keep it up

Situated in a small lane right opposite the Kala Ghoda Cafe - this quaint little cafe has some of the best desserts in Mumbai.
A small place with just a few tables - it has the best hot chocolate I've had in Mumbai served in cute little cuddle cups.
Coming to the desserts - we tried the Criollo which is basically a dark chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and tempered chocolate - which was beautiful to look at and really delicious as well.
Up next - we had the Rocher Pastry which was a plethora of textures and layers and a must try.
Only downside is the price point which is a bit on the higher side - apart from that a great place to curb the sweet craving.
Really arty and colourful cute place. They offer huge variety of chocolates across the globe! A place that offer chocolates with colors. Their presentation and packing style is beautiful. They have given importance to colors and textures from interiors to crockery to chocolates.
Banoffee: unique in taste as I could taste the sweet and salty caramel with a shot of bitter coffee. The crunchy biscuit crumble was a bliss.
J’adore: really beautiful rose cake loaded with champagne! It was sweet, sour and liquory non chocolate cake.
Rocher caramel: Loaded with dark chocolate and caramel. It’s a perfect combination to enjoy!l
Overall small cutesy artistic dessert place.

This place was long in my wishlist as I scrolled through the delectable desserts of this place on Instagram. While in Mumbai, in Kala Ghoda, I visited this place. A small quaint cafe with pretty decor and silverware. We had ordered -
Red Berry Tea
Hot Chocolate
Nutella Macaron
Tahiti Chocolate
Black Forest
The Tahiti Chocolate was basic, so was the hot chocolate but it tasted good. I liked the Black Forest Pastry the most. It was unique with a different look and also flavourwise. Liked it and recommend to try. The Nutella Macaron was also good and my friend who had the tea also liked his beverage. Recommended to try out this place. Happy Dining! :)
gud perfect time delivery thanks
When I need to gift something, this is the place I head to. They make fabulous hampers and the quality of the products is top notch. Besides the desserts too are fantastic.
Bit costlier, tried Creola was good
Caramel Overload was even better than it...
Can give it a try...
Small outlet, easily accessible near Kala Ghoda
Amazing small place at fort,no valet parking but do get parking in the lane.
As we dont have eggs, options were less but still amazing pastries.mind you most of my favorite pastries get over early so my advice to go early if you wanna try their best selling cakes
We ordered red velvet, caramel n choco pastries...amazing to say the least and staff is very helpful.
Be wise and let the staff help you with your dessert choice. Usually they won’t disappoint , they take special care to add the oomph in the visual appeal of the dessert you are about to devour and will go at length explaining the complicated deserts to you, which is nice and thoughtful.
But in case it does disappoint, coffee will make up for it! So do stop by.
A small cozy bakery with assortment of chocolates lined up. I ordered intense caramel and the red rose pastry which were both good. I've heard there macaroons are good too
a star less coz I wanted it to be much larger outlet n better music.. and when it comes to chocolate..omg!!! just pure in every look smell taste !!! everything we had was just yummmiest ever !!! bit pricy but worth! would definitely try hot chocolate next time as suggested by you guys but late. :)
Disclaimer: My review + rating is mostly based on the chocolates 🍫 I have had here and subject to change / updates as I work my way through the menu.
I am an incorrigible chocoholic - honestly, I would go to many lengths for a piece of chocolate. I have lusted over La Folie Du Chocolate's pictures for years, and have followed Chef Sanjana Patel's social media accounts for the chocolate porn. So believe me when I say I was quite an excited bunny when I landed up here to enjoy some of the finest (art)works of the renowned chef. In fact, I feel I was already in love with this tiny space before I had the chance to take in the classy, delightful ambiance and admire the amount of work involved in conceptualising and designing the "lab".
Coffee is something that is a must have with chocolate for me, so I tried the unsweetened cold brew latte with cinnamon that was stronger and less milkier than I had expected.
I had signature D'or 70% since I love dark chocolates and it was exquisite. I would have packed a hundred of these if it didn't feel so expensive (but then again, cost and worth are separate things). Then I had the Columbian chocolate with hint of espresso that I loved because who doesn't like a combination of coffee and chocolate? I packed a cute little box of Caramel and Hawaiian (so pretty!) which was a feast for the eyes and the tongue. Hmm. Now excuse me, while I enter chocolate heaven and have to cut short this review for later.
Follow me on Instagram @eatwith_ishani for food pictures and updates.
Small cake shop tucked away in Fort serving awesome desserts and chocolates.
Though they have only four tables the awesome dessert make it up
Had the two desserts with one of them dark chocolate which was yummy. Would suggest to cost the place.
La Folie Lab literally translates to The Madness Lab and I sincerely believe that is what they are doing. They are going all out and experimenting with not only chocolates but every form of dessert there is, to bring out melt in mouth, magical bits of heaven. Kudos to Chef Sanjana for the great venture and how it hasn't lost it's touch over time.
My one and only disappointment with the place is that they don't serve savories like their other La Folie counterparts. That being said, this cute little joint asks you to surrender yourself as you enter (it's engraved on top of the steps), and I strongly suggest that everyone follow their advice. The place is filled with goodness. Discover the beautiful desserts lined up, have that difficult battle with self about which one to choose and finally pick a couple of them because let's face it, just one of those babies is usually not enough. I went with their Infinite Caramel for the time being and though it's not as good as their Caramel de Sol (personal favorite), it's great.
Next up, move to the drinks. Small but interesting selection of coffee, tea, and of course hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is served elegantly in cuddle cups. Most people prefer their original hot chocolate which is 70% dark chocolate and fabulous. Personally I prefer the Mexican varient due to a touch of spice which hits the mark for me.
It's a really tiny cafe with very Vogue-ish English decor. It's comfortable but could get extremely noisy. I do hope they start serving some savouries as well.
Location: Cute little dessert place in Kala Ghoda.
-
-
Food: Their desserts that I tried were good. Cream was not too sweet like in most desert places. They had too many 'uncommon' options.
-
-
Service: The service was quite polite, helpful, and swift
This place is really hard to find since it is very tiny and located among those narrow lanes of Kala Ghoda.
Their chocolates are so indulging and delightful but at the same time very high on pockets so if you are planning to visit this place on your month ends, then don't! Wait for your paycheck.
This place is quite expensive!
Next level of chocolate desserts
the desserts are quite expensive but worth the experience to taste
We tried :
1. Intense carmel: it was perfect in taste, sweet and bitter, major part of it was chocolate mousse and topped with chocolate disc
2. Intense mint chocolate : it was of one bite fully chocolaty, filled with chocolate mousse and mint outside
3. Chocolate cake: it was too sweet
It is a great place for deserts made by French Cordon Bleu Chef. You won't be overwhelmed by cream & mouse deserts. What I think most miss the quality of bread and plain butter croissant which I think is among the best 3 places in Mumbai
If you do there buy unsliced bread, it is worth it will take you back to your trips to western Europe
If you are going through a hard day - GO HERE. It will make you feel life is better again!! I think that their tea and coffee pairings are truly a feast. Their expresso shot on the ice cream desert and the tea and pastry pairings are crazy. Their chocolates are hand painted and have the craziest flavours. I am big fan of their earl grey one. They also have to cutest gift wrappings.
La folie is known for its chocolates but the tea menu it has is no less. Amongst all those amazing flavours of chocolates , la folie’s teas find a way for themselves. Their orange and mango tea is really refreshing. One tea pot is enough for three people so sit and enjoy the chocolates while sipping on some hot tea.
Small cozy place with decent interior. has a range of delicious desserts like-cakes, pastries, chocolates out of which I have tasted Rocher Praline, 100% Chocolate, GingerBread Cookie, Madagascar Mousse Cake, Passion Fruit chocolate, Mint Chocolate and while they are all nice,
Wanted to try this place from ages so finally went in and tried Pabana - Tropical passion fruit and mango stuffed in light Coconut mouse. super soft. Rouge Velour (a work of art!) and delicious. Very berry – its tangy flavours fusing beautifully with the rest of the desert which looks like a velvet flower. & Don't miss the hot chocolate. This outlet is really for premium desserts as the portion was small than regular. I somehow felt this place is nice but really expensive. Finally I used my QuickPerks Dining Card before payment including all taxes we got 10% Discount! worth it.
We went kala ghoda for ayubs but for something sweet we decided to visit here this place was in my list from very long time. Really good place with sweet ambience and the service is really really good he told us about every desert but still i forgot the name of desert really sorry for that. But the desert is really good for taste and for giving joy to eyes also the desert is of chocolate with 72% chocolate.
I ll definately recommend this place and that dersert also

Its a really tiny place, right opposite Kala ghoda cafe but its a cute little place with just 3 tables.
We tried their criolo which was amazing 🤩😍, it has dark chocolate in the correct amounts, so all you dark chocolate lovers, this is a must try❤.
Then we took a box of 6 macaroons which costed us 500 🙈.
The mint, caramel and the vanilla is a must try 😍😍😍😍😍😍.
I did not like the pista one 🙈. Rest were just okay.
Would definitely love to try the other desserts soon❤.
A variety of French desserts.I ordered an eclipse which was a mousse based dessert with a little orange twist. Especially loved the rose Macaron. Staff was decent. Pretty good ambience.
The desserts here are made with such finesse and are so rich in flavour. I tried the tira misu which was one of the best I have had and intense caramel which was a dark chocolate dessert with a more mousse like texture. All in all would like to try all their desserts eventually!
Small and Cute place located in interior Of Kala Ghoda Area . All their desserts are to die for .Had the J'adore on my first visit ,was quiet interested in the intense flavors it had . Will definitely try many more on my Next visit to La folie .

Situated in the by lanes of fort this dessert place is a hidden gem.
Totally loved the interior. It's warm, cozy and painted in pastel hues.
A number of signature desserts are displayed at the counter. Apart from the desserts artisanal chocolates made by Chef Sanjana are displayed.
These chocolates have some really interesting flavours and are packaged so nicely, they serve as a brilliant gifting option!
Tried this amazing flavoured chocolate- blueberry cheesecake nugget. It was absolutely delicious.
Also had the signature J' adore dessert.
This is the most perfectly pretty looking dessert here! This beautiful intricate red rose is filled with such different textures and flavours. A vanilla cake at the bottom with strawberry compote and jelly and many other components make up the dessert.
Priced at 250/- it was filling and worth all your money!
P.s The artisanal chocolates are definitely not to be missed!
A lot of cafes and chocolate confectioners keep coming up, but do you know when you’ve found the right one?
When a bite into the food warms you up internally and fills you with all the happy hormones and reminds you of the best memories. That’s what the desserts at La Folie did for me ❤️
Every bite into their desserts, had a new taste or flavour that was waiting to be discovered. My personal favourite was their dessert with the Rose Compote. Their dessert that centered around hazel nut had different textures with every bite.
Truly sinfully delectable. A must visit and definitely a value for money. I absolutely loved their service, everyone was attentive, and when we had a qualm with our dessert they immediately dished us with something new. Definitely on my highest recommended places.
A very small little place with beautiful interiors. It might not be able to accommodate more than 8 people at one time but the desserts they serve is just amazing. These were the best chocolate pastries I've ever tasted. These were the desserts you can fall in love with. Perfect sugar perfect coco and made with so much love which you'll get in every bite of it.
Apart from that they have handmade boxes of chocolates which are very good for gifting purpose. I'm going to visit this place again and again😁. Last but not the least the staff there is very humble and courteous.
This place is a must try for all those who have a sweet tooth and a palate for exquisite dessert preparations.Have visited here several times and have never been disappointed. The macaroons are simply heavenly while all the chocolate preparations will make u swoon. My favourite however still remains the rouge velour which absolutely melts into your mouth and captivates your senses( highly recommended for strawberry lovers) .Would love to visit here as often as possible even though it may pinch the pocket it is a delight for the senses!!
Aaamazing Desert place!!! I fell in love with the place, it’s a small fairy tale kinda place for deserts - somehow gave me that feeling may be because we visited that place during Christmas. The presentation of the deserts stands out, they are beautiful! Tastes good too, we tried a chocolate thing and one pistachio - both different styles and great in their own way. Coffee was also good.
Decor of the place is elegant and service is good. The guy their suggested us what to try based on our liking. The chocolates displayed looked tempting with such cute packaging - something different in case you wanna gift someone.

La Folie has always been a favourite! Chef Sanjana has truly upped the game of chocolate and how it’s perceived in the City. I had the avocado tartine and the 100% chocolate and also bought the Aztec Chocolate bar. The food is delicate, fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented! I’m so glad La Folie is back!

La Folie- it’s a nice little patisserie in Kalaghoda that dishes out some pretty amazing desserts.
They even sell chocolates. I didn’t have any chocolates but their packaging and flavours really stood out.
I loved the desserts that I had here. In my opinion, La Folie is Bombay’s answer to Lopera, which is an amazing French Patisserie in Delhi.
If you want to indulge yourself, then I say go here!
La Folie Patisserie is a smaller version of the La Folie Lab and thus has limited dishes and drinks on the menu. The place is tiny and can seat very few people. They do not serve any cold beverages which turned out to be disappointing. Although, the hot beverages were good. We ordered the Infinite Caramel and it tasted divine.
The place is a little expensive for desserts but they do taste delicious,so if you are someone that loves dessert this place is perfect for you.

The absolute best hot chocolate in Mumbai! It's the right level of thickness, sweetness and chocolatey-ness. I loved trying out their macaroons as well.
However, it's a really small space - not good if you're going with more than 2 people.
One of the best chocolates I have ever tasted in Mumbai.perfectly crafted and taste will remind you of Paris. So delicious and perfect for satisfying sweet cravings.
The best Les Alpes I've ever had. The thought of it makes me obsessive. After 2-3 bites some questions that came to my mind:
1.How many kinds of chocolate do they use in it? I really wanna figure but then I get lost in the dessert again.
2. How many calories would I have put on? I feel guilty then remind myself that the awesomeness in front of me is not worth the guilt.
3. What other desserts should I try? I get curious but then my stomach tells me to shut up.
I hope I've made my point.Rest assured, their teas will soothe your belly down.
It's a small quaint outlet with all their offerings on display. I ordered 4 macarons in flavours 70% chocolat, mint& chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel. Each of them was delicious though the mint n Chocolate one was a little soft in texture than the rest.
Will try their french pastries and chocolates on my next visit. The spread is so tempting that u need to visit the patisserie multiple times to devour each of the items.
It is simply THE best place to satisfy one's desert cravings. They simply melt in the mouth. The ambiance of the cafe is very classy and 100% chocolaty.
This is a cozy little patisserie having some deadly desserts. The place was way smaller than I expected however the presentation and the taste of the food is awesome. I must state that the service at this branch of La folie is very poor.
@lafoliepatisserie in Fort is a very chic and classy looking cafe and should be defintely be visited atleast once for its droolworthy deserts.🍭🍰
Had ordered a Bissoux pastry, which had a velvet texture but was strawberry flavoured with a very soft sponge infused with thick strawberry compote. Altogether I would say that the pastry tasted both sour and sweet with a very rich flavour.✨👌🏻
I would also highly recommend their mouth-watering chocolates and macaroons. 🍫🍪👍🏻 Lastly, I would say with this place is definitely the best in town to kill your desert cravings and can end up being an all time favourite place for all those who love deserts. However, the prices are a bit on a steeper side but make sure you visit it atleast.
Small patessaire in kalaghoda..but excellent stuff
The Les Alpes...dark chocolate pudding is to die for
It melts in the mouth...perfect bitterness...nkt too sweet
Ate there and packed for home too :)
Can't get enough of it!!
As a fellow Le Cordon Bleu Alumna, I think this is one of the few places that actually does justice to its alma mater. Gorgeous desserts, with a great variety of textures and flavours. You are bound to find a favourite here. While the price may be steep compared to what you may pay elsewhere; it only makes sense since you can taste the quality of ingredients as well as enjoy the generous portion size.
I really like La Folie cakes' and pastries'. Went here on a weekday at around 10:45 PM (it closes at 11:00 PM) to be met by a counter that had four pastries on it (which is fine). We ordered the two egg less ones. The only problem with this place was the waiter who was dying to shut the place down. He switched the lights off exactly at 11:00 PM while we were still eating. Yet, the desserts are unbeatable and remain one of my favorites.
So this is a small place bt it has one of the best desserts in town. U can sit there and eat Bt for larger groups a takeaway is a better idea. We feel so much in love with the desserts that we actually took a takeaway too. And nt to forget the packing was done really well. It was as it is by the time we reached home.
The macaroons were lovely. The Rose and Gulkand macaroon was something different we got to try.
Though the place is small they have good variety and one is better than the other. It's a treat to ur eyes.
They also have a good variety in eggless and gluten free desserts.
The 100% Chocolat was our favourite !
An amazing place ...want to go back again and again.
Delectable pastries that bring a surprise with every bite. Not only do the deserts have exceptional taste but the presentation, technique and overall thought process behind conceptualisation is commendable.. An absolute must try..
Awesome macaroons by pooja dhingra....This is a must visit place in mumbai at TAJ...So awesome in taste.... Although it's a bit expensive but it's worth the money...
Tiny, quaint place in a bylane of Fort... but they blew me away with their deserts ! La Folie is definitely a must visit for all decedent desert lovers.. we tried their all time popular Fraiser which i loved the most.. followed by their 100% Chocolat, Paris Brest and Rouge Velour .. all of them were absolutly gorgeous (to look at and to taste )..
This place is definitely on my regulars list !
I wish they had better seating though !
when For a dessert wanted To go The New places. So went up here.
This pattisery is One the Best In India as they Said which is well Said . the quality and Presentation which Was The best part of the Dishes.
and Taste is Like above the Delicious .
I will Definately Visit again...
A chocolate and macaroon addicts delight.
Exquisite variety which makes it difficult to select from the options at hand. The shop is very cramped and hence one can't spend more time inside. Their sourdough breads are also a hit.
Amazing place,so friendly staff -- Lakshman. I was excosted because of hit outside. He offered me nice cake and good coffee, which make me happy)))
Visited today for desert, it was devoted to all things chocolate. It has some exquisite desert items. There was very little room so for most folks it was a take away experience. Was quite impressed with the Caramel Chocolate dessert I had, certainly a good place to check out in Kala Ghoda. One could skip dessert at dinner when at Kala Ghoda and go sample some of the items here.
Phenomenal selection of desserts. The macaroons here are great too. It's a paradise for dessert lovers. A happy place where eating desserts is not only they taste good but feel good. The visuals and taste of the dessert are extraordinary. A little pricey but a great place to indulge in desserts once in a while.
Must visit!!
If you're in the area, you must try this place at least once for desserts. It's a tiny place so it's usually ideal for pick-ups but I always got a place to sit here anyway. They make new desserts everyday with a few fixed ones and are a bit on the expensive side. You can get all the usual things you get from a cafe so you can enjoy some coffee, waffles along with the desserts. I just go to try out the new items in the chocolate section. Definitely try the J'adore and experiment with the others.
Dessert Stop! Small place with elegant ambience. Great hospitality.
They only serve limited Coffees and my coffee experience here it's Great balanced with Sweet, Sour, Bitter and its mouthfeel but little less in aftertaste.
I recommend trying the chocolate hazelnut cake and the chocolate truffle desserts

La folie can b a little expensive but quality wise is very good..the portions could b bigger for d price it offers but are indeed very decadent..
Good variety of pastries, great presentation n above all great taste ...worth a shot..u will go back to dig in for some more..
The place is small but the store offers takeaway n is also popular with service providers like swiggy . .
Do try d cakes and pastries..very chic!
The most spectacular desserts we tried in Mumbai. Just delicious
I've not tried any desserts or sweets in this place but came only for the coffee as Kala Ghoda Cafe (directly opposite) was shut due to Diwali celebration.
The coffee is really good as they serve beans from Koinonia coffee roasters. Koinoia Beans are one of my favorite beans and their very own cafe in Bandra is my favorite coffee place in India!! However, since traveling to Bandra usually takes around an hour, this cafe is the perfect alternative if you're around. The barista are quite good (but not perfect) and you can definitely enjoy a nice cup of coffee with your sweets.
The atmosphere in the place is however more life a candy shop, as this is their main products. I prefer the atmosphere of Kala Ghoda Cafe (opposite) for sure but the coffee is nicer at La Folie.
c h o c o l a t e : Love it ? the Tout chocolate cake has got to be one of my favourite ways to spend Sunday ! ⠀

This is one of the best dessert places in Mumbai. They have some amazing DIY kits with recipes to try out at home. They also have some really good gourmet chocolates. The perfect to start or conclude a date night.
The place is a quint and beautiful. The staff knows what they are selling. This is one of the best dessert place in mummy. The taste of every dessert is different and raw. Must try - J'adore and chocolate truffle. While leaving don't forget to get hands on there chocolate, they are yumm.
Best chocolates I have ever tried. Will need to order lot more
Superb stuff. Taste and quality and creativity is amazing. Though not too many veg / eggless options, worth trying!
