After a late dinner at Nara Thai,to satisfy our sweet tooth we went on to Clearing house.What impresses the most I simple but chic decor with welcoming service.We ordered the dehydrated chocolate mousse.Its surprising how they have curated this out of the world dessert.Loved the presentation.
Staff is very polite and friendly.Seating is comfortable with lot of options to choose from.Definitely visiting for an extended meal.

The food, as usually, was excellent! We enjoyed every part of the meal, no matter what we ordered, including the coffee. The restaurant had a private party in the inner seating area, which we were informed when making our reservation. However, throughout dinner, the music was insanely loud. Understanding a party is going on in a certain section of the restaurant, and knowing that the restaurant had someone standing at the door to ensure it was closed as soon as someone passed, the music was terribly loud by any standard. It would help to let party organizers know that music can be played at a certain volume only.
Just as I was about to enter, I was invited to watch a live theatre performance, which upped my liking for the place already. The ambience was restrained but classy, and we were served upon quite well, without too much of an intrusion between meals. The gully that is the entrance was quite unassuming, but that's because they had repurposed an old building for the restaurant, quite an interesting piece of trivia!

The ambience is perfect for a beautiful meal. Tucked away in a lane in Fort, the restaurant serves some great continental delights. Personally, I loved the Aglio Olio pasta - it’s very rare to find that perfect pasta in Mumbai. Additionally, the ‘Smashed Avocado Tostada’ was delicious and a light appetiser. The Aperol Spritz was a perfect accompaniment to my awesome meal. It was my birthday meal, so the team was kind enough to send me a delicious pastry with some home-made ice creams. Would definitely go back and try a lot more from the menu! :)
Was amazing had two dishes as we had to go somewhere else. Ordered gnocchi and tortellini. Was two amazing works class dishes.

I have never had a better avocado toast in life! You must visit this place, it’s a treasure of chic dining tucked away in the great culinary landscape of Bombay! A must visit.

Went here for an event from a travel company. They had a mix of India and continental. Overall the food was decent. But nothing that blew me away also. Since I was there for an event, can't comment on the service or the price.

Lovely place with a very healthy menu. Service was excellent. The carrot cake with cinnamon ice cream is very tasty. Prices a bit on higher side but ingredients are of good quality. Had gone for lunch so only half the space was open.
An elegant dining place in the lanes of Fort, love the minimal and bright decor of the place. The service was impeccable. We started with refreshing wine cocktails.
For appetizers we ordered the warm burrata - it was yumm but really filling so it’s best to share.
We also ordered the soft black bean tacos which we enjoyed.
For mains we went for something light and tried the cauliflower rice with truffle oil. It was good but you need to develop taste for it.

Love love love their cakes. Was introduced to this by a good friend, and since then there's been no looking back. Their Nutella Crunch Cake is really to die for. Don't order from here if you are the calories conscious person :) Only regret is that, I haven't tried their Cheesecakes till now, because I just can't get myself to see beyond the list of Chocolate cakes 😁

After a lot of deliberation I finally decided to visit The Clearing House and I must say, I wasn’t disappointed. In fact I loved every bit of the experience of dining here. Unfortunately my friends and I were famished so I couldn’t capture any images but we had the barbecue chicken flat bread, brown butter honey prawns, truffle linguine and creme brûlée. All the dishes were super tasty and well presented. Definitely going back for another meal!
The food preparation was really good . I loved the lobster Mac and cheese . I highly recommend it . And I loved the ganache pastry on their menu ... The way it melts in your mouth , it's to die for .
The ambience is very romantic and even a place to catch up with friends ... But I must say a more apt place for date night .
The staff is very helpful , friendly and the most important thing ... They are Attentive .... So you are addressed immediately if you look around for assistance .
The restaurants location is a little unexpected , I wish they would move their outlet to cuffe parade or colaba so it gets more visibility.

We went for a very impromptu anniversary dinner. We went at a time where we could soak in the silence and the elegance of the ambience. We were floored by the elegance...amd aesthetics of the decor..very classy with lovely fresh exotic floors and actual candles fr each table which was occupied.
The minimalistic yet striking interiors keeps u wanting to look around.
The staff were polite...friendly..cheerful...and well versed with the menu.
We started off with the lamb tacos. Taste wise they were an absolute 20 on 10. However i would suggest if they were bigger and maybe 1 or 2 more in number. For that price...3 palm sized small tacos left me craving for more..
We have a thing for ramens/pho/soupy noodles...so we went with the Chicken Pho and a Honey miso glased salmon.
I was very impressed that they made it a sharing portion by splitting the dish at the very beginning. Very attentive staff. Made it convenient and less messy.
The salmon was fresh...cooked to perfection...flaky and crispy skin. The quinoa had me blown away...perfectly seasoned with the addition of veges and the slight drizzle of the glaze was perfect to enhance the salmon yet not taking away from the glory of the salmon itself.
The 70percent dark choc dessert is what we chose. It had so many textures to tickle the taste buds. The highlight being the choc-ginger soil and choc coconut mousse. Delectable!!!!

I had gone to this place with a dear friend visiting for few days.
The place is located in fort area and is at walkable distance from CST. While you get dicey about the location looking at the surroundings, it stands elegantly.
The ambience was sophisticated and classy. We were greeted nicely and the staff was polite.
The food was really mouthwatering, well presented and tasted OMG!
The best part for me was the Cheesecake. I would recommend it to everyone.
My feet were literally tapping in joy after eating the first bite of that beautiful cheesecake.

What a fabulous job by the guys at The Clearing House to bring lesser visited part of town to forefront. From the elegant ambiance to exotic ingredients to delectable food, they got everything right! Sunday brunch can't get better than this! I am surely returning of those irresistible desserts.

Loved the ambience.. Very will spaced out seating.. Good acoustics.. Loved the entire high chair and plush seating.. Excellent bar display and huge wine list..
The food was average as some dishes were good and some were average..
Dim sum in dashi broth.. Very good flavours, the dim sum itself was really tasty and well cooked..I can't comment on the dashi as I've never tasted it before..
Non veg tacos very really very tasty..
The prawn dish we had had real flavour and owns very super succulent..
Snapper with sauce was alright.. Crisp skin but fish felt a little dry..

A nice, open, big, high-ceiling , cheery place in a obscure lane.
We are vegetarian -
Sour cherry mocktail - average - just like any other mocktail - but liked the sour cherry pieces
Tomato mozarella flat bread- excellent - garlicky and yummy.
Edamame Dumplings - very small in size- a measly 4 tiny pieces - they serve this dunked in some creamy sauce - did not like this.
Avocado toast - excellent and yum - I put some paprika flakes and black pepper to make it spicier.
Cottage cheese steak - very average - roasted cottage cheese in couscous and with tempura-
Namelaka Dessert - a dark chocolate dessert - the description sounded fantastic but was a little underwhelmed by it - seemed like any other chocolate dessert with some icecream/sorbet.
So overall it was a hit and miss kind of place - Some stuff excellent and some average. Some items portion sizes are decent but some like the dumplings - way too miserly.
The service was excellent - very friendly and comfortable.
All in all we had a good experience - and would visit again if in that area to have the "hit" items
Total bill for all the items above , for 4 of us, came to 3600 including a 10 % service charge.

Tucked in one of the many lanes of Ballard estate, this elegant restaurant attracts anyone who passes by. With a cool history of its location (this place was India's largest ice factory) you surely know it will have a cool vibe to it too!
I had come here with my family for lunch and we left with a big smile and sense of satisfaction!
We had order from their list of mocktails to start with along with their complimentary Lavash and homemade butter (which I found out changes flavour everyday!)
My mother doesn't eat garlic and onion and so we were prepared to hear that that there won't be much they could do. But to our suprise the clearing house can accommodate to any of your dietary requirements! She loved their cauliflower gratin and was also in love with their cottage cheese steak with cous cous!
Me and my dad relished our bbq chicken flatbread and brown butter honey garlic prawns and from their large plate we order the red snapper. It was just too good!
And lastly we trusted in our servers recommendation: the sugar free honey flan!
It's the perfect end to the perfect meal!
A big thumbs up to they service team for they took good care and helped us pick accordingly to our dietary preferences.

Had the pleasure of experiencing a sit down pre decided dinner menu which consisted of the following:
Arugula & Green Apple Salad - 3.5/5
Fresh as it was with lovely crunch of the pecan nuts and sweetness of the cranberries, the salad could have done with more of the sherry sesame dressing.
Pan Roasted Red Snapper - 4/5
Extremely fresh fish with a balance of seasoning that did not overpower the taste of the red snapper.
Chocolate Pot Du Creme - 4/5
Perfect blend of chocolate with chestnut puree, it was lovely but portion a tad too small.
Lemon Meringue Cheesecake - 4.5/5
Light, airy and spot on with the flavours, again the portion was just bite sized too little.
Fresh Fruit & Mascarpone Tart - 3/5
Microscopic and something that did not provide any sort of flavor profile to linger, not worth in my humble opinion.
NOTE: The crispy lavash with fresh herbed butter(complimentary) is lovely and worth partaking whilst the orders are processed. Would advise the diners to definitely have a good go at these.
The bar is well stocked and has a lot of options in cocktails as well. The service is polite, attentive and well mannered. Would definitely recommend the clearing house to those looking for a fine dining continental and pan asian cuisines experience.

Situated in Ballard Estate, The Clearing House is the perfect spot for a sophisticated meal.
The same crew that has worked at the famous Restaurant Indigo helmed by chef Nitin Kulkarni runs it.
The space is divided into two sections a casual one with blue and beige interiors and a more dramatic section inside ideal for a more formal setting.
The food is a mix of Asian and European flavours and is divided into small and large plates. While all the food is top notch, the vegetable spaghetti is my winner dish!
The variety of food is so tempting, you feel like ordering several things!
Shanmi,Tushar and Kamlesh were fabulous at suggesting the best of the best!
Coming to what all I tried:-
1) Home made lavash with garlic butter - Crispy and extremely light lavash served with basil garlic butter as a complimentary appetizer. Couldn't have asked for a better start! This gave me an insight of the quality of food they have to offer!
2) Crispy BBQ lotus root chips - Crunchy,baked lotus root chips made up for a healthy conversation starter!
3) Avocado on Sorghum toast - Luscious serving of smashed avocados, salsa, sour cream on yet another healthy option, Sorghum toast! Although I loved the dish,I wish the guacamole was a bit less colder than it was!
4) Kale and cottage cheese quesadillas - Very nicely made quesadillas! Loved them! The accompaniments served alongside added to the flavours. Excellent and a must order!
5) Slow Roasted tomato Flatbread with veggies - A Flatbread is a kind of a thin crust pizza. Really good👌. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
6) Sesame Tofu - Personally I didn't like this dish. It was firstly too cold, which they said is supposed to be that way. And I didn't quite feel the spices too. So this was a downer for me.
7) Vegetable Spaghetti with sage and spianch pesto - This was the star of my meal! Yellow green zucchini, bell peppers,french beans all julienne sliced made to look like spaghetti and tossed in a wonderful tasting pesto! I could have this dish three times a day! Savory and healthy! What else could I ask for! Highly recommended!
8) Water ganache - This dessert was just wow! Dark chocolate mousse on a bed of tangy apricot gel and topped with amaranth crisp(quinoa chikki) and mascaporne cheese! Sounds exotic right! Trust me, it tasted a lot better than it sounded!!! How good would that be! It was certainly a treat to the senses with the plating being so exclusive!
9) Cocktails - Tried a rosemary pomegranate martini and mango-pina colada shake. Both were refreshing. The martini had a whole stem of rosemary which was so fortifying to chew on!
Overall I was highly impressed by the food, service, decor and the variety!
Would love to visit again and I strongly recommend you all to surely visit this place once be it any meal of the day! Brunch,lunch or dinner! It's perfect.

EDAMAME AND CHESTNUT DUMPLINGS - Absolutely loved it. Dumplings served in a parmesan broth! Lipsmacking! Must have!
MUSHROOM AND TOFU TACOS - these are more on the creamy side! Would've preferred them to be in soft tacos and with some fresh salsa or veggies! Nevertheless, if you enjoy creamy, opt for these!
BURRATA - dish of the day! Love love loved it.
SAFFRON AND SPINACH RAVIOLI - The butter sauce could've been much much better. Didn't enjoy this dish that much!
HONEY FLAN - The texture is very similar to a pannacotta! A very good different dessert which you don't get at too many places!
Oh and the cocktails were marvelous! Do try them out.

Finally made it to clearing house. Another tick of my bucket list.
✔️ Recommend dishes :
1) ARUGULA AND GREEN APPLE SALAD : One of the best salads I have had till date. Sweet and simple.
The Sherry sesame dressing took the dish to another level.
2) AVOCADO ON SORGHUM TOAST : Fresh Avocado, Salsa, Goat Cheese and a Truffle Egg (poached beautifully) on toast. Beautiful flavours must have at least one of the avocado dishes on their menu.
3) UDON NOODLES : Silky noodles with broccoli, corn and edamame. Served with an amazing coconut and lemon grass broth. The broth changed the complete texture of the dish.
4) 70% CHOCOLATE NAMELAKA : A lovely combination of chocolate sorbet, chocolate ginger soil, dehydrated chocolate mousse and jaggery caramel shard's. Not too sweet on the pallette just how I like it.
5) RED WINE SANGRIA : Beautiful red wine in which the flavour of the fruits were well infused.
6) PORCINI AND ASSORTED MUSHROOM FLATBREAD : Less of a flatbread more of a khakhra with lovely mushrooms and goats cheese. Mushroom lovers this dish is calling out your name.
😐 SCOPE FOR IMPROVEMENT
1) SPINACH AND CORN QUESADILLAS : Spinach, cheese and corn stuffing accompanied with salsa, sour cream and avocado. Quite basic.
2) HONEY FLAN : Honey infused custard, served with figs, sour cherry and a homemade granola concoction. Presentation no doubt was top notch (MasterChef Quality). Wish it tasted the same way.

I’m just going to get to the point and say this restaurant is a must try especially if you’re into the whole modern-contemporary approach, which btw, I totally dig. Now, this restaurant is not easy to spot, nope! It’s located in this little lane that is the last place you’d expect a fine-dine restaurant to be. It’s got this unique classy vibe to it that carries on all the way- from the doorway to the interiors to the seating.
The menu boasts a whole range of dishes from American to Italian to Chinese & Japo with their own unique modern spin on it. A lot of what we tried were recommendations from the staff and nothing really disappointed. And, even though you might be trying dishes from various cuisines, they still come together in a cohesive way and nothing feels too out of place. I think they’ve changed the menu as of me writing this review so it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly what we are but let me tell you, whether your in the mood for a Japanese Salmon or a Chinese Pork or a Roast Duck or even Lobster and Crab? They’ve got you covered. You can find just about anything. (well except Indian, but you get my point, the variety is pretty substantial.) The service was good and then Staff well-informed and wait times weren’t long. Also a special mention for that awesome Chocolate Namelaka.
I want to go back here but the only issue is that it’s way too far from where I live and even I am in like SoBo it’s still ways away.

Quinoa Salad bowl: Beautifully presented and super healthy, Quinoa with some pomegranate which added nice pop of color as well as crunch to the dish. You have chicken and veg option in this.
Dim sum : The dough used for coating was perfect, dim sums were very juciy and had huge chunks of chicken. However, the quantity was quite less, just 3 tiny portions.

It's super crispy fried chicken served with mashed potatoes and veggies.
Baked cheese cake: Must say the portion size was too good, and it tasted really great, one of my favourite cheese cakes.
Vanilla bean Pannacotta: We didn't really enjoy this one as much we enjoyed the chesse cake.
Overall- A great fine dine experience, the ambiance is quite open, hence making it very lit with some natural light! Food is fab!
The Clearing House is ideal for date night. The ambiance is cozy and romantic. Although it’s a little hard to locate in Ballard Estate, the experience was worthwhile. We ordered:
1. Roast Chicken Quesadilla - the filling was well flavoured and paired nice with the guacamole and salsa on the side. The tortilla was soft.
2. Chicken Puff Pastry - it was tangy and the tart was flaky. The chicken was a good balance of tang and spice, similar to a Cajun style.
3. Fettuccine Alfredo -The in house pasta which was similar to fettuccine was creamy and rich. The richness was cut nicely by the crunch of the broccoli and mushroom.
4. Salted Caramel Cake - The cakes presentation was artistic but the dessert was a bit too salty. The sweet flavours were overpowered by the sea salt.
It was a lovely evening and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend and visit again to try other dishes of the menu.

Tucked away in Ballard estate, this place is a treat to the eyes and the tongue. The interiors are visually soothing and neat with blues, whites and browns all over. They have also curated multiple menus throughout the week, the weekend and also for brunches. And the overall presentation of food and service is quite impressive.

Here are few of the things we tried,
Salad - the Poached pear and arugula salad is a must have. The pear was rightly Poached and the flavor was perfectly balanced and the hazelnuts added just the right amount of crunch.
Soup - the Creamy pumpkin and ginger soup is not to be missed. A perfect start to the meal with one of the best soups I have had.
Eggs Benedict -
Warm burrata and the red pepper risotto were equally amazing and with a completely different taste. This clubbed with their red wine was just perfect.
Desert - we had their classic Hazelnut crema and the Honey flan. Nothing could go wrong there with the perfect texture and flavor.
We also had the Peach, pineapple, banana smoothie, completely refreshing.
All in all, the place is a perfect package for everything. Be it a breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, it serves all your fantasies. A classic European meal and experience.

This place deserves to be michelin star restaurant, thanks to it's elegant and classy decor and it's delicious food. They have an enticing menu moreover the combination of all the ingredients is well integrated together to create an absolutely amazing dish. For appetisers, we ordered an avocado toast (yum!) and Bhavnagari chilli. The staff is very kind and polite and the manager did his best to make it a hearty dining experience for us. The prawn tacos were very good too. For mains, in my opinion, one shouldn't leave this place without eating the Udon noodles. They are one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. What I loved about it was the coconut broth and how it's subtle sweetness balanced the acidity of the noodles from vinegar. It was just fantastic! Furthermore, the crab ravioli is very tasty too. For desserts, we ordered the decadent carrot cake and I must say, I never though that a carrot cake could be so good. It is served with cinnamon ice cream and I ordered 2 more scoops. The place is quite and there aren't many people, even on a Saturday night hence making it a calm and peaceful place for a great family dinner. I would definitely come here again!
Very classy place tucked in ballard pier. Gives you a complete feel of new York restaurants beautiful ambiance fancy decor and cordial service by muttallib. Mint julep and grilled chicken was too good. steep on pockets but must go for a nice retro evening.

A friend and I had visited this place for dinner last week. The restaurant is located in by-lanes of Ballard estate.
The ambience was lovely. The blue and while upholstery, black and white flooring, looks immaculate. The bar counters, too, looked very neat and well stacked.
We had ordered quite a few appetisers, so we could taste variety.
Warm burrata with tomato stew was a great start, followed by the scallions and prawn dumpling, with miso broth were very light and delicious.
However, I highly recommend everyone to try their paprika spiced lamb tacos and pork belly steamed buns. The lamb stuffing in tacos was full of flavours.
For mains we had ordered crab ravioli and tenderloin medallions. The beef was cooked to perfection; the exact medium rare. And the jus was equally tasty. The poached egg actually tasted quite well, with ravioli. This shows that, the kitchen brigade is very skilled.
The carrot cake for dessert was presented very well. I absolutely loved the texture and flavours.
The service staff was very courteous.
The clearing house, I consider is one of the exceptional dining place is Mumbai. Because, the taste and presentation of every dish was phenomenal.

The Clearing House
Many organisations are clearing their spaces in Ballard Estate, South Mumbai but #TheClearingHouse is making a name for itself there. It’s not quite an Edwardian Building (Ballard Estate has many of those) but is situated in an unassuming bylane. However, the black facade of the restaurant entrance would stand out as soon as you reach. Inside, the high ceiling of the restaurant gives that feeling of open space. The interiors are neat and I did like the way the lights were used.
After a long drive from the suburbs , I needed a coffee and the Capuccino that was served was rich with the aroma of the well roasted beans. The start was good.
The Tomato #Mozarella Flat Bread with Confit Garlic & Basil was the first starter. The thin semi crisp flatbreads with the topping were bursting with flavour and I helped myself thrice over. The #Miso Glazed Seared #Mushrooms were an epitome of perfection. The mushrooms were done just right - soft and juicy. The Miso was subtle and that helped enhance the main ingredient. The Honey Butter Chilly Garlic #Prawns were good but I thought the #crustaceans were a tad overdone. I am willing to give them a benefit of doubt.
In the meantime a #EspressoMartini arrived too, but they need some improvement on this one. Could be one of those days and I would like to leave it that.
I can’t but praise the Creamy #Pumpkin and Ginger Soup enough. One of the best soups that I have had and those little pumpkin pieces in it were a brilliant touch. This should not be missed.
There were two salads that we had and both were well produced. The Blackened Spiced Chicken with #Avaocado and Crispy Lotus stems were a fantastic combination. The chicken was soft and was perfectly balanced with the lotus roots and croutons. However, the #Porcini and Crushed Pepper #Gnocchi was the one that stood out. The mushroom with that fondue base was a perfect combination. It was the dish of the day for me.
The Pan roasted #Grouper was served in a Cherry Tomato and Olive stew. The #fish was as fresh as it should be with the skin cooked perfectly. If you are a fish lover and I am one, this should be ordered. The stew compliments the fish and does not overpower.
I sampled three desserts and would recommend their Lemon Meringue Cheesecake and the Honey Flan with Figs and Granola.
Their Menu is quite extensive and I need to come here again for the others. You should try their fare too. It’s all clear for The Clearing House.

This beautiful restaurant with a minimalist decor and pretty blue is sure to win your hearts. Love the ambiance here. Great service too.

Dishes I tried
Green apple, celery and fennel soup... Very comforting and good.. However, the fennel flavor was missing.
Mushroom Dimsums in mushroom consomme.. Loved it.. Really flavorful and the Dimsums were well done.
Assorted Mushrooms Flatbread... Of so good and flavorful.. Mushroom lovers paradise this one was.
Mozzarella and roasted tomatoes flatbread....yet another outstanding dish... Love the garlic confit... Really flavourful.
Arugula and poached pear salad... One of the best poached pear salad I've had. Perfectly poached pears.
Artichoke brie stuffed puffy pastry... Loved it.. So so good.. Flavourful, crush, a balanced dish.
Warm Burrata... It's my favorite dish but I wish this had some Pesto or balsamic drizzle to balance the flavors.
Aglio Olio Pasta...one of The best Aglio Olio flavors. Were delicious. Needed a little more of cooking. Bit chewy.
Udon in coconut curry... Missed the lemon grass flavors, however put together well.
Chocolate Namelaka... One if the best dessert in terms of texture and flavor. Loved it. Looked pretty too.
Mocktails.. Loved all of them.
One if the best lavash I've had.. Served complimentary.

The spacious and comfortable restaurant serves a mix of soup, salads, appetizers, flat breads, dimsums, mains and desserts.
It also a separate weekend brunch menu and offers express lunch on weekdays.
The express lunch menu let's you choose two (inr 950) or three options (inr 1200) from their small plates, large plates and desserts sections.
Wines can be ordered by the glass (inr 400).
WHAT I LIKED THE MOST !?
POACHED PEAR AND ARUGULA -
Poached pear and arugula salad with hazelnuts, dressed in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, topped with gorgonzola cheese.
The flavour of sharp gorgonzola cheese was beautifully balanced with sour balsamic vinaigrette. Hazelnuts added the right crunch.
DIM SUM -
I tried the prawns & scallions dimsum and wild mushrooms & truffle dimsums.
Both of them were served in a soya broth with tomato chilli dip on the side.
I preferred the shitake mushroom dimsum as it had a beautiful aroma of truffle oil.
CHILLI GARLIC PRAWNS -
Stir fried soba noodles with prawns, squids, scallion, greens and bell peppers.
The prawns were delicious, it had a nice flavour coming from chilli flakes, garlic, black pepper and capers.
UDON NOODLES -
Stir fried udon noodles with bird eye chillies, corn, broccoli, snow peas and mushrooms.
Comes along with a coconut lemongrass broth. The restaurant also offers an option to add shredded chicken to the dish.
The japanese wheat noodles tasted delicious with the crunchy veggies, coconut milk broth had beautiful fresh herb flavour, it made the noodles appetizing.
PAN ROASTED GROUPER -
Pan seared grouper fish fillet served on a bed of cherry tomato olive stew and asian greens.
The fish was seared to perfection, the addition of capers, kalamata olives and chunkey tomatoes made it delicious.
CARROT CAKE -
Carrot cake made with almond flour, served on a bed of cream cheese. Topped with cinnamon ice cream, garnished with granola, pecan and pineapple cremeux.
Insanely delicious, loved the flavour of cinnamon !!

In Europe, breakfast is part of everyday life. People often prefer brunch on weekends. Mumbai has been following the same trend since three decades now. This is why many cafés and restaurants offer a heavy brunch. The Clearing House has redefined the concept of brunch. It's a huge list of delicacies served fresh right from their kitchen.
The perfect day here begins with cocktails or drinks. I was much impressed by their Jamun Martini. One of the best Martinis I have had in decades!
Their hearty brunch speed was mind blowing. One of the Finest Egg Benedicts I've had was the Salmon Egg Benedict here. Absolute perfection. Next on our list, Germanys famous delicacy "Bratwurst". They mastered the original recipe and one could feel as if it was served in Köln or Düsseldorf.
For others, Clearing House has plenty of vegan options. Their salads were outstanding. Most of the cocktails here are vegan.
We indulged more in fish. Their pan fried Rawas was splendid. Fish tacos were equally delicious. What's remarkable here is the attention they pay to every single dish unlike other brunches.
Their selection of desserts and the way they prepare it would make Zürich feel proud. We were flattered by their Blueberry Pancake. It was magnificent. Clearing House is one of the finest places among those who exclusively serve brunch buffets on weekends.

Called for a salad which was good. The mushroom tacos were quite nice. The pasta with grilled chicken was also good. The dimsum was ok. Service was good.

The Clearing House is a beautiful space located in one of the quiet lanes of Fort. Absolutely lovely ambience, very spacious and a simple decor. The outer section is well lit owing to the huge windows while the inner section is dimly but beautifully lit. Loved the way the lights do wonders at the bar area. The service here is really friendly and very prompt, there are just so many people taking care of you and yet you have complete privacy.
We headed here for the Sunday brunch and loved our time here.
Here is what we liked and recommend:
Smoothies: The smoothies are simple yet good, made with fresh fruits. We tried Mago, Jamun + Almond Milk and Guava + Almond Milk.
Avocado and Cranberry Salad: A very simple salad consisting of spinach, avocado, pomegranate seeds and cranberries. The dressing adds a little tart to the otherwise subtle flavours.
Avocado on Sorghum Toast (we tried it without the poached egg): The avocado, salsa verde and veggies mix on the toast was quite delicious. Mild flavours and so filling.
Chilli Three Cheese Melt Sandwich: Perfection! This is a must try here!
Udon Noodles: After reading the description, we had a different thought about what this will be but the actual dish left us mighty surprised and quite happy. Though the broth has coconut milk and lemongrass, they do not overpower the other flavours or fragrance for that matter, which is a surprise and a plus. Loved the texture of the noodles and the mix of veggies and spices. Recommended!
70% Chocolate Namelaka: If you are a fan of bitter chocolate, this one is for you! Chocolate chocolate everywhere. Chocolate sorbet (yummy!), chocolate mud, chocolate mousse and more. Unique and lovely!
Honey Toast: Ice Cream and Strawberry compote with cinnamon spiced bread. Loved the combination.
All in all, The Clearing House is an amazing place, be it from brunch or any other meal. Definitely recommended.

Dropped in at The Clearing House for the Power Brunch by Raw Pressary.
Here’s what we had:
1) CREAMY PUMPKIN & GINGER SOUP.
We’re not soup fans, but this was delicious. We were on the verge of falling ill (yes, we did brunch then too), but this soup perfectly eased our throats and soul! Probably, one of the few soups we've had, that we couldn’t stop ourselves from devouring.
2) AVOCADO ON SORGHUM TOAST.
We’re HUGE on Avocado Toasts, but this one with goat cheese, cherry tomatoes and salsa verde was by far the most flavourful one we’ve had!
We topped it with a truffled poached egg and it was a party in our mouths.
There are rare times when we like a dish so much that we’d want to order another portion of the same and this dish was definitely one of them. Unfortunately, our full tummies did not let us go for Round 2!
3) CHOCOLATE AVOCADO SMOOTHIE MADE WITH RAW PRESSARY'S CACAO ALMOND MILK.
A rather comforting avocado smoothie with mild chocolate flavour. It was a great, healthy drink on the side. No complaints!
4) CARROT CAKE, LIQUID CHEESECAKE, PINEAPPLE CRÉMEUX, CINNAMON ICE CREAM & CANDIED PECANS.
Soft, moist and warm carrot cake with liquid cheesecake is how every meal must end. The variety in texture with the pecans, cake and ice cream was a big A+ in our books!
All in all, The Clearing House has always been a favourite with us! Food so good, you can never decide if you should OD on your favourites or try something new.

TCH is almost a hidden gem located in the by-lanes of Ballard Estate. Their brunch has an amazing spread of European dishes alongside some lovely cocktails and mocktails.
I tried out their spiced chicken dimsum (in dashi broth) which was lovely and spiced to perfection. And also their crystal mushroom truffle dimsum which was beautiful too.
We also tried their blackened chicken salad and avocado toast with some lovely cheese and paprika butter.
Their desert however was just spectacular, hands-down. Their fusion of balsamic vinaigrette with Flan was so simple yet indulgent. They really out-do themselves with their plating!
A must visit for everyone looking out for a fine dining experience. Their portions are quite adequate too!
Also, absolutely lovely interiors. This one's a keeper.

So we came here for the Sunday Brunch thinking that their flying lunch buffet was still in place, but now they have a special Sunday brunch menu with a very accurate heading, ‘Today We Brunch’. Initially disappointed that it was a la carte, we had no idea the fantastic food that was in store for us!
We were seated in the inside section with adorable lighting (although that’s probably better for a dinner scene due to the lack of natural light). They got us the drinks and Sunday brunch menu along with some lavash and creamy butter to nibble on while we placed our order. Equipped with fresh fruit smoothies, drinks, greens + grains, eggs, sweet, brunchy, sharing, entree’s, dessert and more, this was the perfect brunch menu with a good variety of practically everything!
What we had-
- Avocado and Cranberry Salad: Baby spinach leaves, sliced avocado, dried cranberries and pomegranate topped with a tasty and flavourful orange poppy seed dressing. Super nice although would probably try out their other, more creative salads the next time.
- Avocado on Sorghum Toast: YES, MORE AVOCADO! Toasted multigrain bread with mashed avocado spread out and topped with goat cheese, cherry tomatoes and salsa verde. One of the best avocado toasts I’ve had in Mumbai! Just the right amount of everything make it pretty dam perfect.
- Snicker Doodle French Toast: So we ordered this from the sweet section of the menu in the beginning and this sort of came between our appetisers and mains. Boy, it was the best palate cleanser ever! French Toast topped with salted caramel and cinnamon sugar. It was so soft, perfect and divine. Literally the only word I can think of to describe this is HEAVEN! One of the best sweets I’ve ever had in general, they’ve truly aced this one.
- Gluten Free Pasta Aglio E Olio: Since this was the only pasta on the menu, and being a complete pasta lover, I just ordered it. It was made very well with a strong but subtle flavour. It had sundried tomatoes, olives, chilli flakes, other herbs and sprinkled Parmesan on top. Surely scrumptious!
- Udon Noodles: An interesting dish in the Entree section, was not expecting any Asian to be a part of this menu. When we asked our server to suggest one between the pasta and the noodles, he suggested these. This piqued our curiosity and so we gave it a shot. Noodles with broccoli, snow peas and straw mushrooms, and topped with a curried coconut and lemongrass broth. A delightfully light and subtle flavour made quite well.
Unfortunately we didn’t make it to the desserts section as were stuffed with all that magically awesome food!
I’m so used to the extravagant Sunday brunches with the unlimited food flowing, and yet I surprisingly enjoyed this one the most! A cosy and comfortable ambience with helpful and attentive staff who were quick to serve and guide you. Really pretty lighting in the inside section and abundant natural light in the outside one. Every dish was made to perfection with delectable and mouthwatering flavour. Most definitely made it to my top brunch spots in Mumbai and will surely be coming back!
This place is effortlessly elegant and has a deliciously Manhattan vibe written all over it .
The dishes are on the pricier side and the portions are shall I say ‘petite’ . But the food on the whole is outstanding and the service is prompt yet non intrusive .

Personally for me, rather than a lavish buffet brunch somewhere, I would much rather have a nice cosy sit down order in Brunch somewhere!
Well, the Clearing House let's you do exactly that!
Located in the #Fort area of #Mumbai, the Clearing House will, with it's ambiance, transport you to the reastaurants in Ireland or Scotland! Yep, it's that beautiful!
However what won my heart here is the food and yes their cocktails!
Bo weekend brunch is complete without #Cocktails right? Well The Clearing House offers an array of exclusive cocktails that you could try! My pick is definitely the Jamun Martini! They also have some great Shakes and Smoothies that I loved!
So, every weekend, the Clearing House has a Brunch menu from which you can.order what you want individually! There is no concept of Unlimited food and thus... no wastage!
The variety of Egg preparations that they have is a perfect match for Brunch! Try the Truffle Eggs and the Benedict!
Must try food - The Crispy Prawn Soft Shell Tacos, Udon Noodles, Grilled Fish and Chicken Mushroom Pie! Their Blackened Chicken and Avacado Salad is absolutely fabulous too!
Do Not....like absolutely DO NOT leave without trying their awesomeness of a French Toast! There.is nothing else I can say for this one!

This exquisite place is situated right in the Ballard estate in a corner off the gpo. We went there for the Sunday brunch. The menu has a real.good spread of lovely brunch items including salads, breads and burgers. The mimosas were lovely and accompanied the warm bread basket with a lovely mustard butter dip. To start with we had he lovely chicken,avocado, lotus stems and greens salad and the mushroom feta cheese flat bread. The flat bread was very crisp and not too oily. The salad was a show stealer. For the next course we ordered udon veg noodles and the lovely tlc special burger. I must say I was thoroughly impressed by the person serving us mr.kamlesh and the prompt service. We also packed some prawn tempuras which lived up to their name in terms of flavours and the crispiness.

Loaded nachos: loaded with cheese, beans, nachos and a delicious combination of salsa, guacamole and sour cream. I couldn’t stop eating this and literally had to tell my friend to keep the plate away from me.
Corn and potato pancakes: a good combination of Savory pancakes, a little on the less spicy tone. If you’re looking for something on the lighter side, go for this.
Avocado and cranberry salad: if you are one of those who starts your meal with a salad here, this is the one you should go for. The combination of cranberry, avocado and dressing is perfect.
Mango smoothie: enjoyed one of the last mangoes of the season with this mango smoothie which was pure and fresh without additional sugar. Recommended.

Three cheese chilli sandwich: perfect for cheese and sandwich lovers. Loaded with veggies and cheese.
Cottage cheese burrito: burrito makes for a good main course, which is feeling and tastes really good. I enjoyed the burrito here, and made sure to save space for desserts in my tummy.
Doughwich: upon recommendation of the stuff we ordered the doughwich here. I’m not that big a fan peanut butter, however, the combination of peanut butter, dark chocolate ice cream on a fried doughnut all sandwich together is out of the world and will leave you craving for more. In other words, to have another morgasm with every bite of this dessert. Must have!
Fluffer nutter waffles: light yet crispy waffles with marshmallows, Nutella and chocolate cookie crumbles makes for a good ending to a lovely meal which leaves you content, satisfied with an over full tummy.
The ambience is perfect on a Sunday afternoon while it’s pouring outside, and I am enjoying my breakfast with a close friend over conversations, laughter and really good food.
The portion sizes are perfect for two people, and average price for two is about 2500₹.
I would recommend trying the Sunday brunch here if you’re looking for one of the good brunches that give you you’re money’s worth.

Sunday brunchin is always pleasant and filling.
Here at TCH,Fort they do Sunday brunches with A La Carte Menu! The place is divided into two sections and is a big spread. Pleasing interiors with blooming flowers on each table. What more can you ask on a Sunday?
Food:
Avocado cranberry salad: Avacado, Cranberry, Baby spinach with orange poppy seed dressing. Healthy kick to start the brunch.
Jamun Martini: Pretty looking jamun Martini is really an eyecatcher. A drink which can totally be on your Instagram story.
Mimosa: Always a Good company for my food.
Mango Smoothie was heaven and looked gorgeous.
Loaded Nachos: Had Beans, Mexican Rice, Cheese, Salsa Guacamole. It was very cheesy and I licked till the last bite. Highly Recommended.
Cottage Cheese Burrito: Consisted of Beans, Mexican Rice, Cheese, Salsa Guacamole. It could be done much better for the filling. Lacked the flavours and was bland.
Crepes: Ratatouille and Kalamata olives curried corn fondue was a stealer. It looked like a nice lasagna covered with melted cheese. Olive lovers a treat.
Assorted Mushroom and Porchini Flat Bread: Flat Bread topped with mushrooms, goat cheese, caramelized onions was a total disappointment.
Avacado on Toast: Avacado on toast served with Goat Cheese, Cherry Tomatoes and Salsa was heaven. Im an Avacado person and I totally loved it. Gives the crisp of bread and softness of Avacado with every bite. Recommended.
Honey Flan: A pretty looking dessert consisting of Figs, Granola, Sour Cherry Balsamic Reduction. Was a gluten-free, sugar free dessert and it totally took my heart. Was plated gorgeously with petals and tasted like caramel custard. Highly recommended.
Passion Fruit Creme Brulee Cheesecake: Made from Blackberry compote and mango gel was a dessert for all the mango people. Totally Worth It! Gluten-free!
70% Chocolate Namelaka: Dark Chocolate Lovers its for you. Covered with chocolate flakes and all you have to do is unveiling. Hidden inside is dehydrated chocolate mousse, Chocolate Sorbet and Jaggery Caramel. Again it was gluten-free.
Townies no need to travel suburbs now because Sunday Brunch just got closer!
We had honey-glazed duck breast and mushroom confit with garlic bread. Excellent. The place is apt for a quiet evening dinner and wine. The music is subtle, the decor tasteful. Good service. A very satisfying experience.
Food was nice! Unfortunately their menu has been updated but they have not updated the new menu on Zomato and hence since I checked them out on Zomato before coming here.. I wanted to order a few things which they do not serve anymore, sadly.
2ndly the area around is very quite and a bit shady. Nothing at all around, and hence on a Friday night the place was almost empty. But if you're looking for private dining with no disturbances, this place is perfect.
The open air section is beautiful. Service and waiters are really nice. (shout out to Halistan & Keith)

I came across this gem while googling for a European restaurant in Mumbai.
The restaurant is on a quite road in Fort and you can have the restaurant to yourself on a normal weekday like I did today. The vibe is excellent with suitable music.
The waiters are welcoming and very prompt. They won't let you do anything except enjoy your time at the restaurant.
The dishes are priced expensively but worth every penny. We had the lamb tacos, Udon noodles and the Norwegian Salmon. All their dishes are meant to eat for two. It'd have been tough to finish anything single-handedly.
