We went yesterday for the Republic day brunch and it was awesome!!!!! Spread was amazing with good taste.... Multi cuisine to the core..... Nveg grills and kebabs were a standout... So were the pasta, dosa, keema pav, pav bhaaji and shwarma counter.... Desserts were mind blowing too... Having lunch with the sea a few mtrs away was just so divine..... Service was a lil slow and confused though ..... They got my grills after 30mins after reminding them, they did not get my second shwarma, pasta came after ages... Servers were not clear about the moctails.... Overall must must go!!!!!
Nice place to stay at mumbai, prime location nearer to some celebrities home, little bit costlier but paisa vasol hotel, evening time and beach viewed are awesome, breakfast also good. Youngsters came to enjoy up to late night.

Olio at Novotel Juhu Beach is organising a four course Italian cuisine affair paired with wine - where you can Cherish Italian delights with the view of Arabian Sea overlooking the Pool.
The special menu has both Veg & Non Veg Option- serving 4 course meal comprising of Soup, Salad, Main & Dessert & each course is paired with Wine.
We made the best of our time and started with the Tuscan Bean soup that was served with French Baguette. For salads - in vegetarian, we couldnt get enough of Panzanella Salad - Goat cheese ball served with Rye Bread & pepper relish. The non-vegetarian option has Mozzarella Carrozza - where Buffalo Mozzarella & Smoked chicken is sevred inside fried Pizza dough. Topped with Green Olive Emulsion, it was a perfect start to our Italian Meal.
For mains, you have the Umbria Truffle Gnocchi & Butter Sage Risotto in Vegetarian. We choose to try the Gnocchi. For Non-vegetarians, Tagliatelle Chicken Bolognese is something not to be missed. They have got it perfect with the Handmade Pasta tossed in the amazing chicken sauce. While I have a big appetite, I tried the another maincourse option - Ossobuco Alla Milanese -Slow Cooked lamb Shank with Saffron Barley Risotto. Must say, the meat fell off the bone.
For mains, We have the Traditional Italian - Zuppa Inglese which was served with Sparkling NOI.

Olio is an Italian restaurant in Novotel.
I recently visited them to try their new Italian 4 course meal set menu.
To begin with, we had an amuse bouche whice was a seed cracker topped with guacamole.
Soup was a tangy vegetables and bean soup with parmesan bread. The bread soaked up the broth and tasted really delicious.
Salad was spectacular. A wonderfully plated salad .. panzanella.. Rye bread topped with bell peppers, cucumber and onions, arugula, crumb fried goat cheese ball and to die for pepper relish.
Mains were a truffle gnocchi or a burrata sage risotto.
Both the mains were delicious. A lovely crunch added by the hazelnuts in the Risotto and soft perfect gnocchi. Loved them.
The show stopper was the dessert.
Chocolate mousse stuffed between fluffy chocolate pancakes with cream and berries. Loved it.
The food was good. Service was good. Definitely worth a try.

Loved every item on the menu. Very friendly staff and accomodating to special requests. All items are well prepared and a great place for pasta and other Italian items. Spacious seating. The only down side is it closes by 11pm and service is a little slow
Mr Glen made our day. He took care of us course by course, making each item specifically for us. The salad, the soup and the main course were just fantastic! He asked us before each course how and what we liked and made each dish accordingly while making suggestions for each dish after understanding our taste. This was an absolutely memorable experience in both the taste and quality of each dish served to us and in terms of the service. He also gave us complimentary sorbet at the end. The sorbet was just refreshing and most definitely the best sorbet I have had so far. Kudos to him and his team. Looking forward to visiting Olio again. This experience was better than the per se’s of the world!
A fine dining Italian place in the cozy Novotel Hotel at Juhu. Outdoor sitting has a gorgeous view of swimming pool and the Arabian Sea as the backdrop. The decor is simple and contemporary. The primary emphasis is on the Italian food, particularly from Tuscany. The wood-fired oven pizza selection is quite exquisite and the service is exemplary. Must try is their authentic pesto sauce which faithfully resembles one you must have had in Italy.
Went a couple of months ago with my bestie. Had the Gamberoni Siciliana and the Pollo Tre Senape. The Pollo is quite a big dish, enough for 2 people. Both dishes were AWESOMEE ! So filling that we couldn't eat anything else after that. Managed to have some dessert though - the Tiramisu!
Loved Olio, it's a cozy restaurant, courteous & attentive staff with amazing food. A fine dining experience, easy on the pocket too. Definitely going back - 5 stars !

It’s a fine dining place with amazing indoor and outdoor experience.
The food here is tasty and good in quantity. The presentation is quite sparky. The menu is not that extensive, less options for vegetarians though.
The service is really nice and people are friendly. They are always available on one call. They are efficient and guiding too. We asked for their opinions and they were kind enough to explain to us about the dishes in the menu.
The ambience is fine, nice decor with good music and good wine collection. It feels like classy and comfortable. The outdoor sitting is really attractive and I would suggest for booking it in advance if you don’t want to miss the sunset with a good view.

Had heard so much about this place, and finally got a chance to visit it on my recent travel to Bombay. Lucky for us, the weather was beautiful so we sat by the pool side and enjoyed the amazing service by the staff here and the delicious food.
We were welcomed with some garlic breads and beet root hummus.
Next we used our 1+1 Zomato gold service and ordered for,
Chicken pizza which was very appetising and delicious. Two of us couldn’t eat more than 4 slices because it was so heavy in quantity. But we couldn’t resist ourselves after each bite.
Next we ordered for chicken shish tok which was served with Lebanese breads. This was my personal favourite.
The place is decently priced but a special mention to the staff which was so courteous and welcoming.

Got to be a part of the zomato gold experience event at Olio and had a good experience. The staff and management left no stones unturned to make it a special experience. The food spread was good and I can only remember a select few of the varieties I tried.

Foodstuff that I didn't - Pizza was truly disappointing
My only message to the management would be to keep more people to serve at various counters and keep more options for vegetarians (as my younger brother who is a vegetarian couldn't try a majority of the dishes)

Attended the Zomato Gold event here a couple of days ago which included an Italian cookout and wine tasting. The event was all right. Honestly expected more, atleast in terms of comfort and arrangement. It felt quite stuffy inside when people gathered in front of the bartender/chef.
Coming to the food, a buffet sort was set. First went for the seafood soup. Very nice. A bit spicy and had more of an Indian touch to it. The next section was nicely set up. Focused more on seafood: prawns, octopus and mussels. Loved the first two. The mussels didn’t exactly suit my taste. They had a live pasta and risotto counter. The pasta was creamy and delicious. Well made as was the Risotto (both white sauce). Didn’t like the pizzas much though. A bit too crisp for me. Enjoyed the main course a lot except for the fish which didn’t feel fresh at all.
Overall the food was good except a couple of dishes. 1+1 on food makes it worth a try if you’re a zomato gold member.
Very nice place to enjoy, beautiful Ambience. Especially the outside sitting area because of beautiful sunset and wind coming from the sea. The food is also very good, and the service staff is also amazing. A good place to visit for a date or enjoying some private time.

The food spread was not only extravagant, but also delicious. Two must try dishes are:
1) the watermelon and feta cheese salad - while you might think this is a cliche, trust me, the one here is something you must have never eaten before. It’s an excellent preparation
2) the octopus - salty and tasty!
The ambience gives you the option to choose between AC and the sound of waves & the wind. Suit yourself, and indulge!

Had visited Olio last week, liked the ambience, its quite and nice. The staff was prompt at service and responded quickly, specially Terrence & Ehjaz from the staff, they were quite friendly, helpful and served us well. The food was up to the mark. If you wish to satisfy your taste buds then its a must place to go. We ordered Risoto balls for starteres, they were very delicious, the Olio special pizza is a must try.

My love for Italian Cuisine is unending and that’s what took me to this place and i wasn’t disappointed.
The ambience was very subtle and pleasant, the food was amazing and the service was satisfactory.
The dishes took quite sometime to come inspite of the place not being so crowded.

Antipasti:
Arancini- Fried risotto balls stuffed with arabiatta sauce and mozzarella, this dish had a perfect balance of the sauce and cheese. The portion size was pretty small.
Gamberoni Siciliana- Perfectly seasoned prawns with lots of garlic and a subtle flavour of chilli, this dish is a treat for prawn lovers.
Primi Piatti-
Ravioli Ricotta e spinach- Ravioli stuffed with Ricotta cheese and spinach served in a tangy tomato sauce, this dish was good to taste just a bit too tangy.
Lobster tortellini in salsa di burro di mandorle- Tortellini stuffed with lobster and a subtle flavour of almonds, the dish was good however the taste of lobster was very minimal.
Pizzas-
Olio Pizza- Thin crust pizza with pesto, olives, sundried tomatoes and artichokes. The taste of artichokes made the pizza a hit.
Vegetable Rustica- Topped with peppers, mushrooms, onion and tomatoes, this pizza was just like any other veg pizza you’d have. Nothing so different about it.
Desserts-
Panna Cota- The panna cota was served with raspberry soup and mint. The raspberry soup was too strong and more on a bitter side.
Flourless chocolate cake- Really gooey and chocolaty, this cake is a must have for chocolate lovers.
Overall, the experience was very good and the food was really tasty. The portion size is pretty small, your stomach isn’t actually full till you don’t eat the pizza. However it’s still better as compared to other 5 star hotels.
They also serve complementary garlic bread sticks which really tickle your tastebuds.
Loved the place . To our surprise the kid was welcomed with french fries which was not on menu made her damn happy. We had olio pizza a must try and ravioli which i found a bit tangy to my taste. We also had the mocktails the one with cucumber and watermelon is better

Sorry, but no photos from this visit. I ordered their signature dish, Pollo Tre Senape. The appetiser has a more of a Moroccan vibe, than an Italian one. The bread served with it tasted really good with the sauce. The house bread was a good snack to have while waiting on our dishes. The prawns risotto could be made without the peas, but the prawn pieces were large. The chicken lasagna could be made better as the chicken kept dripping out between the strips of pasta

Hand crafted wood fired pizza has a delicious taste and is served exactly the way you want. If you are looking for a luxurious restaurant having a good service in Juhu then Olio should be on your list.
This is a great Italian dine out.the food is delicious especially the pizzas as they are very rustic and traditional after eating a pizza here you won’t want to have a pizza from a fast food chain ever! It might take a bit of time for some people to get used to but it is truly awesome and so is the service though it is not the fastest by any means but it is very fresh food so you can’t really complain plus the atmosphere is calm,warm and welcoming. Overall a great place to go out with friends or family.

The food was excellent. Portion of the squid was really good. The ambiance is really nice too. We were particularly impressed with the hospitality and service by Rohit. We ordered a few things but as it would take time we were served with bread basket which was very different than we had elsewhere. Since we were very hungry we finished bread basket in no time.

I've been here twice. The pizza never disappoints. Tried the mustard chicken in appetizers, fettuccine in truffle sauce, bruchettas & tiramisu. Enjoyed every dish. The pasta was yum bt had less of truffle mushrooms. Tiramisu was more lie cake and had more cream bt it was served with coffee ice cream which was a good combination. The bill took time for some reason,not crowded.

We had a lovely dinner at Olio Italian restaurant at Novotel Juhu. Ambiance is good and spacious. Mushroom soup and cream brulee were excellent. It's bit overpriced and bit noisy due to open kitchen. We ordered a Rustic Minestrone soup which was really nice. It was very filling and filled with veggies.
The chef personally came up to us and asked for suggestions and if we liked it or not.
The staff was very friendly and really kind. They even surprised me with a wonderful pastry.
The chicken was perfectly cooked except I didn’t like the taste of the carrots and potatoes along with it..

Being a foodie, i was confused what cuisine to have this Sunday, having exhausted all possible options owing to distance from home, and having had a few in the recent past, we as a family decided to go to Olio... A place we went to the last time but were put off, due to lack of quality and taste... But our experience this time around definitely put this place in a different league altogether...
As i was walking to the restaurant i happened to bump into the chef Glen, he recognised me from the previous experience and promised to makes this visit a memorable one... After getting us seated, he instantly arrived and gave all his suggestions, we wilfully agreed to his call for his favourites The Arrancini and the Pollo Tre Snappe. Trust me the latter was supremely divine, the preparation, the presentation and most importantly the taste, not that the Arrancini or risotto balls was any bad, but between the 2, the Chicken with the three mustard sauce won it hands down...
Next to the mains - again going by his suggestions we went ahead with the dual pizza, which had half made with seafood toppings namely the salmon, calamari and prawns - one word yummy... The other half had pollo pesto, which sated our "pollo" cravings too... His other suggestion the Ravioli Ricotta E Spinaci was a revelation, I had reservations against eating spinach flavoured pasta, but just one bite of it and I had a orgy of flavours right at my tongue tip, spinach, cheese, pomodoro base and obviously the taste of the pasta... It was just too heavenly, I am already planning another visit this weekend...
The suggestions by Glen and the service rendered by Roshan both made this experience indeed a memorable one, the other staff members too made our visit an appetising one... My only issue with the place would be the size of the tables, there wasn't space for 2 dishes to fit into it at any point of time... It was one of my favourite top rated place during my mumbai stay. My most of the Sundays had passed here.
I likes their Pizza , service and ambience very much.
Authentic and fresh taste they have each time.
Staff is also really good.
And top of the crown the open air ambience.

Simply awesome experience. Great food. The chefs were so friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable and recommended us dishes that we truly relished. Sous Chef Glen and Chef Mrinalini were superb in their interactions with us. Chef Mrinalini's recommended Minestrone soup was lip smacking and sumptuous. All other dishes she recommended were great too.
One of the best seafood pizza in town by one of the best Chef sarvesh and Glen. Reminds me Rome. Great service. Nice ambience. Cool Sea side breeze overlooking Arabian Sea.

While staying at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, we headed to Olio, a luxury Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. At the entry were earthen pots with bottles soaked in juices with a colorful presentation of bell peppers in red, green, and yellow colour. It looked so lovely and colorful with thyme and other herbs presented and preserved in big jars along with grains and Italian oils in big glass bottles which looked tempting, beautiful and healthy.
Olio means ‘Oil’ in Italian. The 39 seater restaurant is done in orange, brown and white extending a classy and elegant appeal. We could spot very minimal decoration around which looked really sophisticated. It has an open kitchen concept with a wine cellar on the sidewall with exotic wines. There was upbeat English music playing in the background. The menu made its way to our table in the form of a wooden plank. We asked Chef Sameer for his recommendations.
Anybody would love to taste the breads, pasta and salads coming from the open kitchen. We started with the house breads which came with two kinds of dips- olive dip and coriander dip. They were presented so well and were really appetizing. Next came amuse bouche, our palette cleanser extending our expectations for dishes to come. The rustic Minestrone Soup was a nutritious blend of tomato and root vegetables broth with pasta and parmesan cheese. I would like to call it a healthy tomato gravy soup with delicious veggies and a slice of toasted cheese bread(garlic bread). Burrata was specially prepared by the Chef for us. The Buratta cheese with beetroot coulis and tomato confit was refreshing and fresh. Just loved it! It is must try here! The fruits added the zest and the cheese freshness. Arancini, our favourite deep-fried rice balls which had asparagus sauce around it were crispy on the outside and, soft and velvety on the inside. The taste was very delicious with the mushy rice filling and yes cheesy too. Spaghetti Aglio Olio E-Peperoncino was made with extra virgin oil, garlic, chilli and parsley. It was nice, spicy and very classy, with fresh stir-fried veggies. Olio pizza came with feta cheese spread, pesto, kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke and fresh mozzarella. It was colourful, crispy, cheesy and done well with exotic toppings which tasted different and nice. Afterall, Olio specializes in Italian delights and is famous for its thin crust pizzas.
The open kitchen was full of action - we could see pizza dough preparation happening in front of our eyes which looked very interesting, Chefs were carrying out their food duties and churning great Italian recipes, Pizzas were being made live in the woodfire oven. 3 chefs were preparing main course and starters while 2 chefs were in the pizza section. Both the sections were well lit with orange lamps. I loved my Olio experience- the pizza, Italian oil flavouring or tasting the authentic unique flavours of Olio kitchen.
The Dessert of the day was Pina Colada. It was interesting to have one of my favourite mocktail in a pastry form – sweet and topped with edible flower and chandi ka vark. It was very different and nice.
Had a great time at this charmingly done spacious restaurant that opens for lunch only on weekends but dinner is on every day!

Perfect place to stay in if you want to hear the waves. A great view from the room; the rooms are spacious, clean and the service is great.
I must say You will definitely feel an Italian atmosphere , it's a great place to be. Would recommend it for couples going out to spend a great time together.

I recently visited them to try their new Italian 4 course meal set menu.
To begin with, we had an amuse bouche whice was a seed cracker topped with guacamole.
Soup was a tangy vegetables and bean soup with parmesan bread. The bread soaked up the broth and tasted really delicious.
Salad was spectacular. A wonderfully plated salad .. panzanella.. Rye bread topped with bell peppers, cucumber and onions, arugula, crumb fried goat cheese ball and to die for pepper relish.
Mains were a truffle gnocchi or a burrata sage risotto.
Both the mains were delicious. A lovely crunch added by the hazelnuts in the Risotto and soft perfect gnocchi. Loved them.
The show stopper was the dessert.
Chocolate mousse stuffed between fluffy chocolate pancakes with cream and berries. Loved it.
The food was good. Service was good. Definitely worth a try.

1. Bourguignon - also called #stew, it is simmered dish that takes it's name from the region of origin namely, Burgundy.. The long & slow cooking in a large volume of liquid, the Burgundy wine - that is in the spotlight.. Mushroom, carrots, seitan, smoked tofu, onion, garlic, very little wheat flour & olive oil are used to prepare this lovely healthy Vegan dish.
2. Scrambled eggs (made my natural tofu) with mushrooms - was a challenging delicious dish. This recipe is presented with morals

The ride all the way from colaba was definitely worth it. Nice decor and view. Thanks to chef , we had some lovely seafood risotto and pasta plus italian desserts. Service was quite fast and efficient. All staff extremely cordial. Keep it up.
