An amazing place just opposite HR college is a must to visit if you love different varieties of fries. We ordered Schezwan cheesy fries, red chilli sauce fries and oreo shake all were just mouthwatering. The place is cozy and attracts young crowd. The seating is not available but there is a standing eating system which in a way is unique. It's also very pocket friendly on price and the location is also prime. All in all a 5/5 for this place

I came here with a friend and it definitely is a great place for a quick bite and quite close to Marine Drive as well. I ordered the Pizza fries which was a combination of Pizza Sauce, Cheese & Jalapeno cheese sauce. A flavourful yet a spicy combination with all the sauces and was perfect for the weather, not to forget they were quite filling as well

its like a stall with a big kitchen where it is mostly crowded
we had 2 chicken fries,don't really remember be the name but it was totally filled with fries and chicken amd was quiet soggy which was the most amazing part
also you wont believe but 1 is actually enough to make you full ,may be you will even get tired of eating,but you wont stop bcoz it is really very scrumptious

The cheese burst fries is a new addition to the menu. Its good but not great. I would rank the usual peri peri fries and chili cheese fries higher than it. The outlet at Churchgate is a cute little place with only outdoor seating available. It has minimal seating and is hygienic. The staff is efficient and friendly.

The J is one of my favorite place to eat fries. Must try the Chilly Cheese French Fries if you are confused with the menu about what to eat, and also if you love cheese. They have also started nice range of burgers. Even the iced tea is also good. Nice place to chill and relax with your friends.
The place is nice small joint where there is no seating per sae but you can stand and eat but they have a wide range of fries in veg and non veg even their shakes milkshakes are excellent had a good time.

This place is in a compound of a society right opposite HR college, probably the first branch of the J. Absolutely love this place, their shakes, their fries and now the burgers! The fires are just the right amount of soft and crunchy, alot of sauces and each of the items in the menu are a good selection of fries and sauces.
The service is quick and very good. I was suggested the Two minus burger which is a mix of Maggie and the patty along with the right amount of sauces 5/5

They use to serve in cone so the drawback was they sauce use to not reach at the bottom. But now what they do is they put sauce at the bottom also. That is why it tastes the same through out.

We recently tried the new burger menu at The J's Cafe Churchgate.
We tried the Bbq Chicken Burger and the Mac and Cheese Burger and were floored literally and found ourselves savouring every bite. The BBQ chicken burger was really filling with the most succulent chicken patty, it's just like a huge burst of flavour when u take the first bite.
The Mac and cheese burger was decent, but when dipped in ketchup was mind blowingly delish!
It was a binge really, and perfect for those who are on/ planning a cheat day or those just want to hog like food for the souls who love burgers!
We then had the Snickers and the red velvet shake along with the burgers, this is something you should definitely try if you have a huge appetite, that is!
And not forgetting J and it’s tryst with fries, we tried the Butter Chicken Fries and the Flappy bird fries...this was so good..we were left wanting for more.
Cheers to great burgers, shakes and fries, we are definitely going back to have it once again...

The J is a nice place to hangout with your friends, under the umbrella tables which were superbly designed , having pocket like sections to keep your J cone still. Very interesting!
Now coming to what I had there , these Chilly Cheese Fries were crispy throughout . The only thing I thought could have bettered this cone would have been sprinkled chilli flakes instead of chilli sauce.
Else , it was a good experience overall , the place was full of college crowd and despite that , I got a reasonably quick service.
Good place to eat at/from when you’re just slightly hungry for a quick bite.

I remember how I use to make my daddy drive all the way from Thane / our office always just to eat the fries at the churchgate first outlet .
Now the J have spread their outlets all over Mumbai ( approx 27 ) .
The J is still growing and when I specifically crave for fries ; the J is the only place that pops up in my mind.
My only favourite here is the pizza fries & I haven’t tasted all those other fries much.
And my fries is always accompanied with their special cold coffee milkshake.

I've had the j in the jungle and pizza fries and BBQ chicken fries and their Nutella shake, in short the j is my constant as it's opposite my college and they deliver at my place of residence.
The J's at churchgate is truly a vibes by itself, tucked right beside the alleyway of a building, the unique presence gives a nostalgic feeling of temptation just from the smell of hot fries when you come near it. The selection on the menu makes you wonder if anything is gonna be missed by selecting one thing, ending up selecting half the menu. The sitting arrangement is wonderful with a wall of notes and a corner for stray pets that takes your heart. Just a wonderful place to be at. Keep it up team!

I tried the chicken poppers and cheesy nuggets and both of it were really good. With it was the Ice Tea. The Ice Tea was just the right kind for your tastebuds. The place has minimal sitting area but mostly people prefer takeaways. A little ahead of this place ends towards the marine drive front. So you could pick up some cheesy fries of your choice and relish it watching the sea.
I just love the J personally from my college days but this is almost 1 years later I eat J it was amaze. I tried every flavour but my favourite is THE J-NON VEG and CHIPOTLI- VEG these two are my heart and all are love....feel so high.

One of my favorite place in town! They have added some new flavours of fries! Definitely try Pop corn chicken fries! Those are worth your penny... the only complaint is there are only 4 tables and very limited chair so please keep in mind before visiting...

Amazing person and although he was alone he was handling the customers greatly. Also we were new so he suggested us some great fries and drinks.
Food is great and the staff is also cool.
The cats are also a great company.
If there's one thing I can't stop raving about after my recent visit to The J in Churchgate, it's their fries! These golden sticks of heaven deserve a review all to themselves because they are simply exceptional. The fries at The J are a game-changer. Crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside, they ticked all the boxes for what makes a great fry. What sets them apart, though, is the variety of the options they offer.
If you're a fries lover then ofcourse you've visited them.
They sell amazing food, I can assure you'll not be unsatisfied with them.
Prices are totally affordable bcoz they provide you with great portions.
Fries are just perfect with their crunchiness. 🍟

I love how they still have "Wall of Cat" where you can see various cats and mingle with them. The ambience is pretty nice.
