Visited Mamogato on my recent visit to India, and I loved the food. It tastes so good, all the preparations were delicious.
We had ordered soups-tom yum, chinese sour & pepper , goat cheese tacos, som tam salad ( absolutely delicious) , veg black bean sauce, fried rice.
On prices front, I found it on higher side other than that everything was worth recommendation.
I went to Mamagoto for the first time and really liked it. We got two sushi dishes, one of which is vegetarian (Caterpillar Avacode) and the other not (Spicy Salmon), both of which are excellent. Although we also ordered spicy ramen, it was not worthwhile.
The overall taste and quality of the food are good, but the cost is high.
The staff is really accommodating.
Additionally, they offer free crisps.
Service fees are furthermore optional.
I had a unique experience in mamagoto Subhash Nagar. I got to experience the best of humanity and food at the same place. They helped us find a lost ring and we owe them for that. But today's review is dedicated to their amazing and honest employees. Loved the food as well as their service. A must visit place if you are going to Pacific Subhash Nagar. P.S. their welcome snacks are addictive...:)

Ordered dumplings basket and chicken udon noodles. Dumplings were really excellent 5 types in one basket 🤤. Udon noodles were not that great very salty and very sweet at the same time so I do not recommend the udon noodles to order. The staff was very courteous and warm and the little appetiser fried pappad were just amazing 😻. The final verdict that I will give to MAMAGOTO is that it is a nice restaurant all in all but some scope for improvement.
We tried sushi and dimsums. Both were really tasty. It is a must try. Drinks were amazing too. Ambience was too good. Try to eat with chopsticks, it is quite a challenge 😄
Yes the food was tasty but have been to much economical places than Mamagoto for similar taste (maybe even better).
However the staff is nice and they do help with food selection.
Went their with my 5 month old, they accommodated us (and our pram) nicely. 😊
Ordered these dishes (refer images) and paid rs. 2900 in total with GST and service charge (optional).
There is no doubt that this place serves probably the best pan Asian food that I have tried in my area and I was really glad that I got to know that they have opened a new outlet in pacific mall NSp so I went there for a good dinner party with my friends and I must say I was so impressed first with the interiors of that place second the staff was super courteous and they were taking a lot of hygiene measures.
Now coming to the food the tempura prawns sushi was really delicious and it was super crispy and I really liked their wontons, dimsums, chilli chicken their drinks for also really amazing you.
One of the best Chinese/Asian restaurant in Rajouri Garden area, inside Pacific Mall. Best for dine in and take out.Great Food. Must try the Cocunut Ice Cream
Good place. But I will not prefer going more than once a year.
I think Asian food is better in BOA if I compare BOA & mamagoto. I think dimsum were the best out of all the dishes I ordered here. But other things I will not order again.
You enter this dingy, quaint place in the by lanes of Fort and you get a feel of being transported to the backstreets of China! Such is the decor: rusty, simple, dim, yet tasteful!
Suggestion to the management: Play some melodious Chinese songs and you will literally make the audience feel that they have entered China!
Enough has been said already about this epic Chinese restaurant, so let's not waste time anymore and directly jump onto:
Food:
Honey Chicken: Undoubtedly the best dish we ordered on the day. We were skeptical as we thought it would be too sweet, but the taste was well balanced. Not too sweet but good amount of spiciness due to bell peppers. #MustTry!
Street styled spicy dumplings: Heard a lot about dumplings at Mamagoto and the server recommended us this dish, but were disappointed. I've had better dumplings than those. The name describes it spicy, but the filling wasn't spicy and the outer covering wasn't as thin as we would have liked.
Chicken Three Pepper Bomb: A very unique taste, probably a good mix of fish sauce and wine. Never tasted anything like this before, but we just loved it! Worth a try, the second best dish of the day! #MustTry
Bangkok rice: This again is one of the most recommended dish by most foodies, and is certainly not a bad option. You basically choose the rice (sticky/steamed) on which you would get a chicken gravy with tiny shredded chicken. They serve quite a good portion in a big bowl, so think before you order it with some other main.
Pad Thai: This has to be the safest bet in any South Asian eatery, but it didn't meet my expectations. The noodles were pretty dry and a little more of pad Thai sauce would have been better.
Value for money: Well, it's a bit hefty on the pockets (with 10% service charge and 5% GST), but they do serve quality food in good quantity. So overall, it's worth the spend.
USP: They don't use MSG in their food. That itself lets you gulp the much craved Chinese food without feeling guilty of eating unhealthy food.
Probably, our expectations were a bit too high after reading the previous reviews and hence couldn't settle down for anything but the best. But overall, it's certainly a place worth visiting. Do give it a try!
A must try for people who love Asian food. They have a very extensive menu!! Surprisingly good Cocktails! This food is full of flavours. Also try the Lunch Buffet at their Andheri outlet . Trust me you won't be disappointed!
Loved the vibe!
Magagoto is an exquisite place to try out a different cuisine and is extremely good quality.
Has plenty of space to sit and hang around.
The interiors is a blend of japanese and modern design
- ordered catterpillar sushi and was yummy.
(Just know that it is different from Indian spices, so the taste will be different)
- they also serve complimentary crisps along with some sauces which was delicious
- the prices are on the higher side but the experience is also elevated.
Overall, definitely a place to try and good aesthetics
Quite enjoyed it here. They have a large variety of Asian, thai etc.
The ambience is pretty too, with a very Asian touch and even the roofs have these pretty patterned clothes.
For soup we had the Tom yum, we ordered it two by three but yet the portion was really big. But it's really yummy.
Then we ordered the cheese and truffle oil dumpling, have this only if you like goat cheese as it was full of it. I liked it but my parents dint as they don't like it's taste.
Then for mains we ordered the Chiang Mai train station noodles veg, which is basically khowksuey. Very flavourful.
For dessert we had the cake with toffee and icecream, trust me it's a must have its so soft and I absolutely loved it. The service and staff are good too.
Mamagoto has been much heard till date and was on "visit list" since ever.
When Pacific mall opened its gate to this one of kind and India's first and only pan Asian cafe celebrating street hawker cuisine, I thought of bumping into the experience.
Located beside food court;quirky, vibrant and bold interiors welcome you inside cafe with colorful and eye catching interiors.
The staff is courteous and they help in deciding what suits your taste. The service is laidback and staff on floor makes sure that you have best of food experience here.
I ordered caterpillar sushi,Dumpling non veg platter, street chicken satay with peanut sauce along with mocktails recommended by the mixologist which were watermelon beach and kiwi splash.
The sushi was avacado, asparagus and cucumber rolls which had the right color, flavor, and texture.Literally it was an art to eye and taste to tongue.
The dimsum platter had 5 varities which were chicken gyoza, pok Choi and chicken, prawn and celery dimsum, rainbow dimsum and spicy street style dimsum. The best way to taste maximum variety is to order such platters.Every bite had blast kf flavours which were minimal yet balanced.
Street style chicken skewers were rare medium, those who want their meat mouth melting can skip this. For me it was as authentic as I've tried on their street markets.
The drinks had a refreshing taste of watermelon and kiwi..what makes them appealing is that the base taste is kept untouched by unnecessary sugar syrups or flavors.
Main course was thai red curry with sticky rice. This was one of the best red curry I've tried with heavenly flavors and aroma.
A basket of rice crackers is complementary.
Dessert had to be baked cheesecake.Simple flavours with high quality ingredients,it was dense, delicious and melt in mouth. The Biscotti crust gave a great crunch and saltiness.
To sum up the experience I would say Mamagoto is not only about authentic recipes but about street side fusions and experimentation too.The portions are generous and even the bowls can be shared by two people with moderate appetite.
We were hosted by Mr. Laxman and his team with utmost dedication and warmth.
Pan Asian , Japanese, Chinese all Cuisines under one roof ...Mamagoto is the place to be . Tom Yam Salad and Chicken cups are must to have dishes..
Mamagoto has always been my go to place for comfort Asian food
Everything is just nice about that place . Simple soul food with great interiors
I had gone for their event Cook it Up, Like Mama where a MamaChef will take you through a detailed Maki Roll making session followed by unlimited food and cocktails, and a Q&A session with the chef!
Let me tell you what I tried
Simple Asian food : Stir Fried Vegetables, Tofu & Garlic Fried Noodles! That's what mamagoto is all about . Good comfort Asian food always.
I also had a watermelon based cocktail which was refreshing. Further we also tried the sushi with cucumber and cream cheese which was good . And not to forget, the amazing lotus Stem starters which were crunchy and nice .
Ended it with a chocolate inhouse cake which I have hobbled up in 10 minutes flat. I completely loved its textures and smoothness
Had a fun time learning sushi at the master class
Mamagoto has remained favourite among Asian food lovers and so I've always wanted to try it out.
Wether authentic or street style Asian or be it fusion, it's one stop destination for all taste preferences.
The place is known for its tastefully done interiors and great hospitality combined with affordable prices for food and drinks.
When you enter Chinese pop up artwork fills the ambience along with props which take you back to Asian streets.
The staff welcomes you and ensures that you have utmost smooth gastronomical experience.
The menu is extensive,we decided to order a mix and match of basics and fusion.
We opted for Caterpillar sushi,Kung pao chicken, mussourie mall road chicken spring rolls.
Main course was chicken thai red curry and sticky rice.Drinks were "lemon zest and mint lemonade" and "watermelon beach".
The sushi is one of the finest I've ever tried.Ive observed over years how important is the presentation along with taste and it takes years or even decades to learn this art. Each and every component was visible and delicately moulded to form a mouth melting creamy sushi.
Kung pao chicken was classic with exact amount of crunch and delicate chunks of chicken.
The spring rolls had the street style crunch and flavors to it.I love the way fusion I'd incorporated here to serve the best of authentic and street style food.
Red curry has authentic asian flavors and best quality ingredients. Each and every bite speaks for itself. The sticky rice is the best accompaniment to the gravy with richness of coconut milk and flavors of lemongrass and galangal.
Baked cheesecake was perfect and humble ending to this flavorful feast. The baked beauty had lighter and fluffier texture and the cream cheese was baked with eggs to such warm and feather like texture.
Overall I loved the experience and I highly recommend the experience this place offers
I had tekka maki, nagiri sushi(tuna), chicken fried and steam wantons. A very nice sushi place. I you are inclined to sushi flavours, it is a must try place in delhi. The flavour of sauce used in wontons is one the best I ever had. Great place great ambience. Visit to have fine sushi experience.
