It's the kind of place u go to for an old school Punjabi dhaba restaurant vibe, good with family mostly as it's old school.. the food and ambience has similar feels and it has a nice lakeside location with a good view.. definitely a must if you enjoy Punjabi mughlai old school rich and creamy dishes

If u are a die hard nonveg lover this place is a must visit.. They offer you a huge non vegthali know as dhara singh thali which is impossible to be eaten by a single person.
We went to this place with a group of 4 friends as we had heard that its huge. Along with the thali they offer 4 different type ofwelcome drinks.followed by a chat.
Then comes the huge thali with loads of items of chicken,mutton and fish. It has starters,different types of roti,khulcha, 3 variety of rice, a huge variety of non veg curries etc.
The thing the liked about the thalli is that every single dish is made with special attention and tastes disffetent from the other.
Then there is 7 different types of desserts including jelibi,halwa,gulab jamun etc. Its just awesome.
The entire cost of thalli is Rs3200+ gst. Also if a single person could complete the thalli within 30mints then u dont have to pay for it.

There were lot stuff in thali, you should check menu given in zomato itself.
But the Best was dessert part, so it has halwa, gulab jamun, rabdi jalebi...it was like heaven on plate served as dessert.
You have to place the order of the thaali while booking table i.e prior arriving that place, so that it's ready when you arrive at restaurant.
The Dara Singh Thaali at Mini punjab will definitely blow your mind and should be on your bucket list if you're a food lover. We tried their non veg Daara Singh Thaali which consist of 4 welcome drinks, 3 chaat items, 4 starters, 9 curries( includes fish, chicken, egg and mutton), 3 types of rice, soup, 4 types of rotis, 7 accompaniments and 7 types of desserts(best part of the thaali).
Price: ₹3000 (but it can be shared between 5 people so it's actually quite reasonable)
Location : Powai (The thaali is only available at lakeside by mini Punjab and not at all mini punjab restaurants)
P.S. : You have to place the order of the thaali a few days before so that it's ready when you arrive, they don't accept on arrival thaali orders.
So finally I tried "the non-veg dara singh thali" with 4 of my friends. The thali was priced at 3200.
We were welcomed with 4 different kinds of drinks, each one which had it's own particular flavour, followed by paani puri which was crunchy and fresh.
Then arrives the big thali which takes up almost the whole table. The assortment of non-veg starters, mains and bread was really up to the mark, but the veg part in the plate was little neglected (one of my friend was vegetarian and was not satisfied with the flavours).
Then came the dessert platter with 7 different kind of indian flavours, which we devoured really quickly.
Overall it was a good one time experience and trill.
The plate was enough for 5 of us.
Best outlet in powai, amazing place for Indian food lover had a great time, the food was classic tempting mouthwatering authentic flavourful with lot of varieties, Great ambience, service is good.

The seating arrangements was comfortable and also provide the special chair for kids.

I was very upset when I entered the restaurant because I couldnt see the 'Lakeview' from any point of the restaurant...but the things that changed my mood were:- 1. The photobooth with props. 2. The starters and the deserts. 3. The staff. They are very well mannered. 4. The free chai...yes, you read it right. They serve everyone chai for free. 5. They have a counter outside the seating area where one can even book a cake or have pastries. They made a fresh brownie for us on request. The only drawback was the name "mini punjab lakeside"...but as Shakespeare quoted...what's in a name?

It had the best butter chicken I've ever tasted.
The deserts were delicious.

We opted for Veg Dinner buffet. The buffet was actually dinner served at your table and not usual where you go and help yourself with the food. The food quality was really good and staff was nice and polite. Portion size was huge. I also noticed that they have a giant thalis also available which looked great. Would try that next time. The price for the food was not too high. I would visit again and recommend as well.
Fantastic ambiance. Courteous staff, clean environment. Loved the food, was excellent as ever. The only problem is that it is not found easily because of the flyovers built haphazardly. Directions must be placed properly for easy reach

On occasion of mini punjab 10th anniversary, they offer buffet lunch @299 only. I had lunch with my office colleagues.
I love fish starter. It was so yummy & soft. Paneer crispy was delicious & paneer was too soft.
Staff was polite. Even their managers was so humble. We are looking for waiter for water. As soon as the manager realize that we want something. He politely ask us & we said that we want water. Manager himself immediately arrange jug of water for my team & he himself served water to the needy one. We all thanks to that great manager.

If you get there early you might be lucky enough to grab a seat which has this amazing view of Powai Lake... This place is famous for its exquisite dish called MEGA SIZZLER !!.. This sizzler is around 2 feet tall and weights around 7 kg.. This sizzler needs maximum of 6-8 people with normal appetite..It consists of 2 types of rice and noodles each, 4 different starters.. 3 types of sauces and a variety of sauted vegetables.. Every ingredient on this plate is worth trying...
From fresh water fried fish to White cheese, Ingredients do have their own say. At a modest price and with enough number of people this "Mega sizzler" might just work for you.

Went here on a Friday for their unlimited brunch knowing that they were offering their brunch at 300 rupees inclusive of gst.
It was super crowded but we did get a table upon walk-in.
There was one soup , two starters of veg and non veg each and a chat section as well. Starters were the highlight of buffet.
Main course also had two options for veg and non veg .I felt main course was satisfactory.
Desserts were also very good.
Considering the cost, it was a decent experience.
Went here for their 10th anniversary buffet, which was for just 300 rupees and it was a steal deal, loved the place.

The biggest sizzler is amazing , trust me it is worth a try, only suggestion is to have 7-8 people with you! The best part about the sizzler is that it never gets cold🙈 . I ordered tangdi kebabs, Nawabi fish tikka,apple chicken lolly pops,very delicious, juicy chickens and fish kebabs. Dal makhni is thiers signature dish in Veg. You must try if you are in this location.

Ordered the Veg Dara Singh Thali and as the name suggests it was gigantic and can fill 3-4 average appetite people. It had 35+ varieties and definitely must try just to make a good social media post. On the other hand, the food was average with few curries lacking good taste. The desserts were below par and lacked quality and taste. Another problem was since the Thali comes at once, within few minutes food gets colder and loses flavor as it's kept open and given all at once. The ambience and the look of the restaurant is very good and pleasant.

Firstly we were served with chaat which includes Pani Pani. After the chaat they'll get you this huge thali. Being such a heavyweight thali, it requires two staff members to carry it carefully. The thali consist of 44 kind of dishes from the North. As we opted for the veg thali, it included different types of gravies ,indian breads, pulao , khichdi and many more. After you're done with the thali they serve you with desserts. Dessert thali include 4-5 options.
Dara Singh Thali is available both in vegetarian and non vegetarian option. No compromise on taste and quality of food.

Starters : the starters very delicious chicken tikkas, veg kebab, fish koliwada , cheese balls, paneer chilly these were my favourite and they had more options to.
The starters were really great but the service was abit slow.
The first serve was quick but second round and later was slow.
They had a Pani Puri,sev Puri and Delhi tikki on the live counter for chat.
Please try the Pani Puri , the Puri is so crisp and the theeka and meetha Pani was yummy too.
Veg Mongolian rice/noodle and veg dimsum were also there.
I am not a huge fan of veg dimsum , but these tasted really good.
There was one non veg and one veg soup option.
The main course had 7-8 options out of which tow were non veg options
It not only had good aroma but also tasted amazing and they gave the roti basket on the table .
The dessert , the thing we hog on
Four desi dessert option -Gulab Jamun , Malpua,Malai Barfi and Moong Dal halwa all were delicious they not only looked appetizing but tasted amazing .
They had mango mousse, chocolate pastry and chocolate ball-every kid would love this , blueberry pastry .
After eating all this , to quench my thirst I ordered a virgin kiwi margarita.A must have drink.
Overall the experience was amazing , ambience was good ,food was great but the service could be improvised abit.
Nice place with a buffet during lunch time. We called ahead as we wanted to experience the Dara Singh thali, they confirmed that they would have it, we got there an hour later and once there, they said that they were not serving it. We explained that we called and they accommodated us, which worked out at the end.

We started with Shorbas . Both Chichen and Mutton Shorbas were top Notch. Chicken Pattaya was really Good. their chicken Biryani is one the best . Masala and meat perfectly cooked. Even the meat is Juicy. Best Place for Family. Moong Daal Halwa desert is one of the best. Sizzling Brownie is average. One thing I don't like is they Charge Service Charge. We visited this place for a lunch and in Ala carte menu.. The food quality , quantity and taste was truly amazing. The ambience is very good. Giving 4 star as view is not amazing, it is not a lake view restro and even parking is not available. Overall the food was amazing, both veg and non veg. Special mention for Lassi and Masala Chaas.
The place is quite spacious. Easy to locate n well known in Powai. Both veg n non veg options available with buffet or separate orders. We went for dinner @ 9 and it was almost crowded.
Staff is well mannered n service is also good. Food was tasty.
We tried chicken shorba soup n cheese stuffed chicken supreme in starters . In main course tried nalli nihari gravy with kulcha n butter naan & mutton dum biryani which was also tasty.

I went for late night. Dinner at Mini Punjab, Lakeside Powai. I like the fact that the place was open till 12 AM. We reached at 9pm and we left at 12am. The hotels manager was very kind and sweet. He kept his patients untill we finished Dara Singh Thali. If you are a non-vegetarian, I highly recommend you guys to go for Dara Singh Thali, you at least need 4 to 5 people to complete the whole meal. Food was fresh and so delicious. They serve prawns, mutton, chicken and even Keema. You may think these are small bowls, but I swear you cannot complete it. I have even attached the menu video so it can be helpful, including sweet dishes for better understanding. I highly recommend you guys to give a try it’s worth of money.
Mini Punjab is very beautiful fine dine restaurant which is located near powai lake. The restaurant has special offer going on for their monsoon lunch buffet where they are serving a complete buffet only at 465 INR.
✨ I've recently had a visit here with my mom, we really loved the verities of food they had here. Also the staff was really nice and quick in service. It was the huge restaurant with 2 sections. Seats are quite cozy and spacious.
✨ In the buffet they had everything including soups, salads, starters, Indian gravies and rice, Chinese food and also the live chaat counter and thier dessert corner was just amazing, it has so many options. Buffet had veg and non veg food also including seafood also.
✨ This was the most complete buffet I ever had in this price range. Highly recommended to try.

Food is good. They also have buffet options both veg and non veg. We have tried both veg and non veg food ala carte. The taste is good. Their chaat items are also good. Gulab jamun is a must try.
I would prefer non veg food here.

Mini Punjab's Lake Side
Located near Powai Lake, this place serves one of North India's best cuisines. Definitely try it once. One of the most amazing places that offers a mix of great atmosphere, great food and great drinks (mocktails).
I tried the theme meal from the On Going Monsoon Buffet which included: Angara Chicken Skewers, Crispy Vegetables, Chili Chicken, Pani Puri and a variety of Conversations.
The main course has to be Indian because of its specialty: - Butter Chicken - Delhi Style with Kulchas is the best combo you can get. - It was amazing and had a great combination of flavors and was refreshing.
Moctails we tried:-
Virgin mojito:-It was amazing and had a great flavour combination and it was refreshing.
Mango Virgin Mojito:- This was an amazing mango ice cream combo. It's really worth it.
Chicken Tikka Kabab :-
This was so unexpected. The taste of the kebab was very tasty and well done, the taste of the red spicy masala and stuffed cheese in the chicken was so good and tempting.
Crispy Paneer :-
This has to be my favorite... It was so good and
crispy. The taste of the paneer was so authentic and
delicious.Crunchy Vegetables:-
This amount is huge! Even the half portion was a huge
and the base was crispy and flavorful.
Mong Dal Halwa: -
It was made from pure ghee, served with dried fruit, it was really amazing.

we visited mini punjab for their lunch buffet. they offer great quality food at a limited buffet. for the price the quality is great.

for starters we had
✨paneer crispy which was fresh and vegetable crispy served with green chutney.
the buffet had north indian food amongst which

for chinese we had

One of my "goto" restaurants in Mumbai. The crew is lovely, attentive and now they recognize me too! The food is very nice and you can ask for different levels of "spiciness". Highly recommended.
