Visited this restaurant for lunch during busy Diwali shopping time and had to wait a bit. It was late already so we went the safe and quick way and ordered their special thali.
The taste was good, especially the ghee wali chapatis, chaas and dal fry which are my favourite. However, thalis usually have dry alu fry which was missing in this. A good option though, considering the service and quality.
Ambience and service is good. Food quality and taste is too good with ample quantity. Dal Bati is recommended.
If you love food, you should not miss out on this restaurant. One of the best i would recommend and trusted. I orded Special thali, Veg biryani, mutter panner, veg kolhaluri many times. The taste is same always the quality of food is great. Even the packing is great.😍 Ordering food for your parents would literaly won their heart ♥️ #personal experience. I'm a regular visitor at Zaveri Bazar & the busy street of Zaveri Bazaar location draws office-goers during lunch hours: the food is delicious, and the quick service enables lunchers to head back to work in time.
Among the most popular items ordered here is the chhaas (buttermilk) which was served in chilled beer bottles ( now plastic bottles ), with glasses first being filled with a masala mix, before the beverage is poured also called at Kutchi beer .

K Bhagat Tarachand .. the legendary restaurant of Mumbai, popular for its desi delicious food since ages now, their butter rotis and dal fry has something so special satisfying feeling even when u talk about it.. n yes their Kutchi Beer - Chaas.
I was so happy to try their new concept of meal box where in they put all their signature dishes combo in one box.
Everything was packed well, still we at home had completely reheated every single item nicely to avoid any risk related ongoing virus.
And I will always recommend everyone to do same, reheat the food nicely that comes from outside.
So the box included... It's sufficient for one person, priced at 360.

Most of the items were my favourites, loved their dal fry jeera rice the most out of everything, paneer bhurji was little too oily... But yes the chapatis stayed nice soft n fresh went well with sabjis.
Papad Churi was also my favourite.
It's a perfect idea to satisfy your craving by ordering this meal box combo which has everything in good portion for one .. only thing which was missing is their glass of chaas.

Amazing food!.. but A/c and non A/c food served are different.
Non A/c has more variety in the special thali then the thali served in A/c section. Sweet-lovers

Food is good but costly. Food cost may be not as per food quality. There should have to try good quality food. Like there tandoori roti was prepared in electric oven and it was too hard and cost rs. 50. It won't be worth. Some more times are also need to work.
